NY Orthodox Jewish Democrat Simcha Felder: " Obama has been a terrible president,".(CSNY).He’s not an Amigo. He’s not an IDCer. He’s Simcha Felder, political free agent. In an interview last night, Fedler, a Democrat, said he had not made a decision about which party he’ll caucus with in Albany if he wins election to the State Senate in November - and that his choice would rest on which party would provide the most resources to his prospective constituents. Felder, an ex-councilman who is the early favorite to win the heavily Orthodox Jewish district, and whose political plans have sparked intense speculation in local political circles, also seemed to suggest that his decision would be influenced by the outcome of the 2012 elections. He noted that the party holding the majority in Albany has historically held onto the capital’s purse strings. “I don’t see myself as someone who is part of either party, and I can say that to you without lying,” Felder said, adding, “You can assume that based on historical factors, whichever party is in the majority, is probably the one that gets the goods.” The chamber is currently divided 32-29 in favor of Republicans, though four members of the Democratic conference have also broken away to form their own faction, the Independent Democratic Conference. With the Senate so closely divided, Felder also called the hypothetical possibility of being the tie-breaking vote to decide Senate leadership a “dream situation,” since it would allow him to leverage the most resources for his potential the Senate district. 
But Felder’s political situation has been growing ever-more complex. Some Democrats close to Felder insist that the ex-councilman will conference with the Democrats regardless of who controls the majority. But other reports have emerged in the Borough Park press that the Senate Republicans, who have built a close relationship with the huge Jewish social service organization Agudath Israel, may well clear their line for Felder in some sort of a political deal.
And former Democratic City Councilman Noach Dear is making noise about running for the Senate seat, most likely as a Democrat, which would further complicate Felder’s situation. Felder says he has been given no assurances by Republicans about the party’s line - which would require the party handing over its Wilson-Pakula endorsement - and suggested that the outcome of a March 20 special election between Republican David Storobin and Democratic City Council Lew Fidler, which is dragging through a lengthy court fight, could be a factor. “I think in the end, all I can tell you is that there are too many variables out there,” Felder said, “and they’re going to be out there for awhile.”
Storobin has said he would run as a Republican in the new “Super Jewish” district if elected, though speculation ismounting that Storobin could end running for the Assembly instead. The only other declared candidate in the Senate race is Nachman Caller, a wealthy but politically unknown Republican, whose campaign circulated a photo of Caller voting in Tuesday’s presidential primary for Republican Mitt Romney. That was also meant highlight the fact that Felder voted in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary for Barack Obama - a vote could prove problematic in the Senate race, since Obama is deeply unpopular in Brooklyn’s Orthodox community. Felder says he now regrets the decision, and would not repeat it. “He’s been a terrible president,” Felder said of Obama. “Unfortunately, I was wrong, and I will certainly not be voting for the president in the upcoming election.” Felder, who cracked frequent jokes throughout the half-hour interview, only seemed to bristle a bit once, when asked about tabloid criticism over his decision - enabled through a loophole in the city charter - to keep his well-paid post as first deputy comptroller in John Liu’s office during the Senate campaign. Felder noted that the move was entirely legal, and suggested, tongue firmly in cheek, that he would stop campaigning during his off-hours when President Obama ceased campaigning during work hours.Hmmmm......The Tide is turning it seems.Read the full story here.

Peres to Obama: Release Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard.(Haaretz).President Shimon Peres sent a personal letter to U.S. President Barak Obama on Monday, urging Obama to consider granting clemency to Jonathan Pollard, citing the convicted spy's deteriorating health. Officials at Peres' bureau indicated that the president's diplomatic adviser handed the missive to U.S. envoy in Israel Dan Shapiro, with U.S. officials confirming that Obama received the letter in the afternoon. In a statement released by Peres, the president thanked Obama for what he said was the friendliness his administration has shown Israel, citing the Passover seder the American president held last week at the White House, and reiterating the importance of the value of freedom to the Jewish holiday. Peres updated his U.S. counterpart on a conversation he conducted a few days ago with Esther Pollard, the convicted spy's wife, stressing that the Pollard family, as well as the Jewish people, were concerned about Pollard's health. The president sent the missive after receiving a petition signed by 80 MKs, urging Obama to release the Jewish spy, as well as intense pressure from the lobby working to secure Pollard's release ahead of Peres' White House visit planned for June. During that meeting, Peres is expected to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which, the Pollard lobby argues, the president should refuse until the convicted spy is released. Peres' missive comes over a year after Netanyahu send a similar plea to the American president in January 2011, a letter which represented the first time Israel officially requested the spy's release. Netanyahu since raised the Pollard during his several meetings with Obama, although he did not always receive a U.S. response. Israeli officials estimated that, as with Netanyahu's attempts, Peres' missive serves, for the most part, as a declarative measure, one which won't likely draw out any U.S. reply and that won't advance Pollard's release. Hmmmm......If Obama thinks that releasing Pollard might give him a serious gain of Jewish votes he will.Read the full story here.

On March 16, 2012 President Barack Hussein Obama signed an Executive Order claiming full authority over all activities within the United States. These activities include all transportation, energy, agriculture, homeland security, as well as the authority over all resources within the United States and their specific allocation. The Executive Order further creates additional bureacracies delegated to his immediate Cabinet members as well as a new National Defense Executive Reserve (NDER) “composed of persons of recognized expertise from various segments of the private sector…” [Section 501]

This Executive Order by Obama draws on the original “Defense Production Act of 1950”, [50 U.S.C. App. 2061] This was an act of Congress, which is why it is called an “Act”. It is legislation drafted and approved by Congress, and signed into law by President Harry Truman in 1950.
I have been an aviation Defense Contractor since 1965. During Vietnam I received military aircraft parts contracts that carried Defense Priority ratings as critical materials. The usual rating was “DOA1C”, which allowed me, as a contractor for critical materials, to claim priority with my suppliers of raw materials and processing services over any commercial customers. The Defense Priority rating system was the result of the “Defense Production Act of 1950”, with the specific rating system codified into the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). To this day I receive orders from the military subject to the rating system.

The “Defense Production Act of 1950” is reauthorized each year by Congress. It was created and implemented after WW2 to assure that appropriate resources would be identified and available to the United States should there ever be a national emergency again. The Korean War a few years later certainly proved the value of the “Defense Production Act of 1950”. Again, it is legislation that was created by Congress, approved by Congress, and amended by Congress. In each case of reauthorization it has been appropriately signed by the sitting President of the United States.

One of the more recent amendments to the “Defense Production Act of 1950” included the
requirement to utilize Small Business as much as possible in the procurement of critical goods and services in a national defense emergency, as well as the production of critical goods to be stockpiled.
There is one critical prohibition that has been a part of the “Defense Production Act of 1950”,
[50 U.S.C App. 2074], section 104 entitled, “Limitation on Actions without Congressional Authorization”. This prohibition provides in paragraph (a) that there can be no “imposition of wage or price controls without prior authorization of such action by a joint resolution of Congress.” Paragraph (b) is far more interesting! “No provision [of the Act]…shall be exercised or interpreted to require action or compliance by any private person to assist in any way in the production of or other involvement in chemical of biological warfare capabilities…”

In section 105 of the “Defense Production Act of 1950” it prohibits the President from rationing gasoline unless authorized by Congress.
Section 106 identifies “Energy” as “strategic and critical material”. However, once again, the President is prohibited, unless authorized by Congress, from engaging in any new authority for “the mandatory allocation or pricing of a fuel or feedstock (including, but not limited to, crude oil, residual fuel oil, any refined petroleum product, natural gas, or coal) or electricity or any other form of energy; or…”

“…the production of energy in any manner whatsoever (such as oil and gas exploration and development, or any energy facility construction), except as expressly provided in sections 305 and 306 [50 U.S.C. App. 2095 and 2096] for SYNTHETIC FUEL PRODUCTION” [my
emphasis!]

The “Defense Production Act of 1950” does provide the authority to the President to “provide appropriate incentives to develop, maintain, modernize, and expand the productive capacities of domestic sources for critical components, critical technology items, and industrial resources essential for the execution of the national security strategy of the United States.”

Now armed with the original Congressional intent of the “Defense Production Act of 1950” as amended, what does Obama’s Executive Order do that he signed on March 16, 2012?

1. Obama’s Executive Order completely byasses and ignores the Congress of the United
States in direct violation of the “Defense Production Act of 1950”!

2. Obama’s Executive Order completely ignores the prohibitions of Presidential authority in the “Defense Production Act of 1950”!

3. Obama’s Executive Order creates Presidential authorities that do not exist in the
“Defense Production Act of 1950”, and not authorized by Congress.This Executive Order signed by Obama on March 16, 2012 is tantamount to the “Executive
Orders” issued by Adolf Hitler after assuming dictatorial power in Germany in 1933, Josef Stalin after assuming dictatiorial power in Russia, Moussilini after assuming dictatorial power in Uitaly, and Mao after assuming dictatorial power in China.

In short, Obama’s Executive Order claims Presidential authority over all resources and
technology of the United States reserving that authority strictly to the Executive Branch of our American government. The frightening part of the Order is that it intends it to apply “in peacetime and in national emergency.” [Section 102]

The Order further extends its authority over all “subcontractors and suppliers,, materials, skilled labor, and professional and technical personnel.” [Section 103(b)] As previously prohibited by Congress in the original Act, Obama now claims the authority to force “action or compliance by any private person to assist in any way in the production of or other involvement in chemical of biological warfare capabilities…” If Obama decided he wants my aviation repair business, he
can take it under his new Executive Order, as well as force me to continue my ownership under
his specific direction! He can now demand this either in peacetime or in the case of national security emergency.
The direct delegation authority of Obama’s Executive Order confers the same authority on the Secretaries of State, Treasury, Defense, Interior, Agriculture, Commerce, Labor, Transportation, Health and Human Services, Energy, Homeland Security, the Attorney Genberal, Director of National Intelligence, Director of the CIA, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors, Administrator of NASA, and the Administrator of General Service. [Section 701] To make matters worse, each agency head has the delegated authority under Obama’s Executive Order to implement “standards and procedures by which the authority shall be used to promote the national defense, under both emergency and non-emergency conditions.” [Section 201(6)(b)]

In order to implement these standards and procedures by agency heads, they are authorized to either guarantee loans, or make direct cash loans to “subcontractors and suppliers, materials, skilled labor, and professional and technical personnel.” [Section 302] They are also authorized to bypass the requirement to utilize Small Business in their discretion.

Connecting the “dots” makes Obama’s new Executive Order very intriguing. Things like this do not occur in a vacuum. There are always connected events!
Last week an ammunition manufacturer, ATK, issued a press release announcing an order from Homeland Security for 450 MILLION rounds of .40 caliber pistol ammunition. You don’t have to belong to the NRA to know that .40 caliber ammo is ONLY used by law enforcement, not the military, which uses 9mm and .45ACP pistol ammo. The .40 caliber is used by local, state and Federal law enforcement such as Secret Service, FBI, Treasury, Border Patrol, etc. State National Guard units do not use .40 caliber ammo either. What does Homeland Security know? What are they preparing for? It IS an election year with the most anti-American President ever trying to get re-elected!
Let’s add another “dot”! Obamacare [HR 3590] creates, in Section 5210, a “Ready Reserve Corps” of “commissioned” officers equal to military commissioned officers, and mandates the required funding to get it started. It even states that these Obamacare commissioned officers can, if necessary, be incorporated into the military command structure if necessary.
Is there some nexus between the Ready Reserve Corps and its authority to capture and quarantine Americans under specific conditions, the order to ATK for 450 MILLION rounds of .40 caliber law enforcement ammunition, and Obama’s new Executive Order?
This election year, 2012, will be the ugliest since the election of 1800 between Jefferson, Adams, and Burr!
Obama has enabled the Left, the unionists, the Communists, the Socialists, the Progressives, the Black community, culminating in the “Occupy” movement, which undoubtedly will turn violent sometime during the Summer. Obama has polarized America by referring to “haves and have nots”, supporting the “99%” against the “1%” to pander for votes.
As Alexis deTocqueville stated in 1838 in his seminal work, “Democracy in America”, “When the people discover they can vote themselves money from the public treasury, the [American] experiment will be over!” We have reached that point! When 50% of the people are getting some handout from the government, such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, food stamps, student loans, etc., they will ALWAYS vote for those in power who provide the handouts! This is not rocket science. However, as Prime Minister Thatcher once said, “Socialism is great until the government runs out of other people’s money!”
Make no mistake, Obama is gearing up the Federal law enforcement community to quell the forthcoming civilian unrest before AND after the coming election!
Prior to the election there will be protests [now prohibited as of last week by Congress!] and violence by the Leftists, the unionists, the Communists, the Socialists, the Progressives, the Black community, and the “Occupy” movement.
If Obama is NOT re-elected, there will be protests [now prohibited as of last week by Congress!] and violence by the Left, the unionists, the Communists, the Socialists, the Progressives, the Black community, and the “Occupy” movement.
The rest of us must prepare for this inevitability and take action to protect our families and our property.

The report said the final results from a small town southeast of the capital shows that Parvin Ahmadinejad, a close ally of the president, was defeated by her conservative rival.Parvin Ahmadinejad was running for a seat in Garmsar, about 35 miles (60 kilometers) southeast of Tehran. She is a current member of Tehran’s municipal council.
Her failure in President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s hometown is seen as a big blow to him in the first balloting since his disputed re-election in 2009.Early returns also showed conservative rivals of Ahmadinejad were elected in many other constituencies.
Out of 50 winners, at least 36 conservative opponents of Ahmadinejad had won seats in parliament.
Three other liberal-leaning candidates were elected. The tendency of the remaining 11 was not yet clear.
More than 3,440 parliamentary hopefuls - all vetted by Iran’s ruling Islamic system and none with links to the Green Movement that led protests after Ahmadinejad’s re-election - were running for seats.
The early results suggest Ahmadinejad will face a more belligerent parliament in the nearly two years remaining in his second four-year term.
Nationwide, final results are expected to be released during the weekend and early next week. Results in small towns, with few representatives in parliament, appear sooner than cities like the capital, Tehran, which has some 5 million eligible voters and 30 legislators.
The new parliament will begin its work late in June. It is expected to boost the voices of hard-line opponents of Ahmadinejad in next year's presidential elections.The results for the 290-seat parliament will have no direct influence over Iran’s nuclear program or other critical affairs, such as military or oil policies.

Bigelow is making a movie on the US Navy Seals who tracked and killed the al-Qaeda leader in the Pakistani city of Abbotabad. She has chosen to set her movie in Chandigarh, capital of the northern Indian state of Punjab, IANS news agency reported.
The Oscar-winning director’s crew was forced to cancel shooting and move cameras after demonstrations by activists of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (World Hindu Council) in Manimajra town on the outskirts off ChandigarhThe VHP activists disrupted the shooting and removed Pakistani flags put up to recreate streets in Abbotabad where the Navy Seals killed bin Laden on May 2, 2011.
“They are showing Chandigarh as Pakistan. This is not acceptable in any terms. Why should a place in India be converted to look like Pakistan? We will never allow Pakistan flags flying at places in the city,” Vijay Singh Bhardwaj, a leader of the Hindu organization, was quoted as saying.
Activists dispersed after local police officer Rajesh Shukla assured them that Pakistani flags would not be permitted at the shooting locations.Bigelow later said they would not be using the flags, the report said.South Asian neighbors India and Pakistan have a history of bitter relations and have fought three wars since their independence from British rule in 1947.Oscar winner Bigelow’s crew has been shooting in the area since Wednesday.The feel of a Pakistani town was created in Manimajra and a busy market area in Chandigarh with Urdu signboards.“Given the security environment in Pakistan and the strained US-Pakistan relations, too many risks were involved in shooting the film inside that country,” IANS quoted a crew member as saying.

Obama Admin May Have Leaked Classified bin Laden Info to Hollywood Director.(BigGovernment).So let me get this straight. The Obama administration is fighting Judicial Watch tooth-and-nail to avoid releasing photographs of the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden, citing national security reasons. And at the same time, administration officials allegedly leaked information about the bin Laden raid to a Hollywood film director?
That’s what press reports seem to indicate. And we’re now trying to get to the bottom of this emerging scandal.On January 13, 2012, JW filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to obtain documents regarding meetings and communications between government agencies and Hollywood director Kathryn Bigelow. If the name sounds familiar, it is because Bigelow is the Academy Award-winning director of the military film “The Hurt Locker.” She is also the ex-wife of Hollywood director James Cameron of “Avatar” fame.
At issue in JW’s lawsuit is the possibility that the Obama administration leaked classified information to Bigelow and Annapurna Pictures as source material for the making of Bigelow’s not-yet-released film, tentatively titled “Killing bin Laden.”
As reported by Reuter’s, “It has been alleged that Bigelow…in preparation for the script to their Annapurna Pictures movie about the killing of Osama Bin Laden – received classified information regarding his death.”Now, why would the Obama administration do such a thing?
First off, this is an administration that has shown a proclivity to selectively releasing information that helps the “Obama brand” while withholding information that may be harmful or embarrassing. (See the selective release of classified documents disparaging the use of so-called “enhanced interrogation techniques.”)
Second, this is also an administration that aggressively uses federal agencies to assist the Obama campaign. (See the recently dismissed lawsuit against Boeing in support of Big Labor and the flow of Obamacare waivers to unions.)
The conclusion seems obvious: The alleged leaking of this information was an effort to boost the Obama 2012 presidential election campaign.
Just as Obamaland was hoping, the movie is scheduled to open on Oct. 12, 2012 – perfectly timed to give a home-stretch boost to a campaign that has grown tougher.
It was clear that the White House had outsourced the job of manning up the president’s image to Hollywood when Boal got welcomed to the upper echelons of the White House and the Pentagon and showed up recently – to the surprise of some military officers – at a C.I.A. ceremony celebrating the hero Seals [sic].
In short, if press reports from the liberal media are to be believed, the Obama administration released classified national security information to help Hollywood make a two-hour Obama campaign commercial to be released just weeks before the 2012 elections.
Judicial Watch is in hot pursuit of these “Killing bin Laden” records in order to get to the truth in the matter. And at the same time, we continue to fight in court for the release of the post-mortem photographs and video recordings of bin Laden. At this point, given the alleged Bigelow leaks, it’s hard to put any stock in the claim made by Obama administration officials that their stonewalling of the bin Laden death photos has anything to do with national security.Read the full story here.
