The Nixon Presidential Library has released the last set of Nixon tapes, and boy are they doozies. The former president is caught making anti-Semitic comments and stating that black people are incapable of running a country.

On a phone call with Henry Kissinger, Nixon was concerned that the Jews would sabotage an upcoming U.S.-Soviet summit-and if they did, he said, “it’s gonna be the worst thing that happened to Jews in American history.”

On another call, Nixon says he wants to fire his then-aide and lawyer, Leonard Garment, yelling “God [curse] his Jewish soul!”

And in an Oval Office meeting, Nixon said that black people couldn’t run Jamaica. “Blacks can’t run it. Nowhere, and they won’t be able to for a hundred years, and maybe not for a thousand … Do you know, maybe one black country that’s well run?” What sort of appointees would Nixon prefer, you ask? “No Jews. We are adamant when I say no Jews.”
The tapes were recorded between April 9 and July 12, 1973.

The remarks were made by former Alaska Senator Mike Gravel in an interview with America's Foreign Policy magazine on February 22. "The sanctions are illegal. There's nothing that I see that Iran has done that warrants the sanctions against them. If you want to sanction somebody, do it to Saudi Arabia who has funded the madrasas with Wahhabism, hatred of the gentiles. That's not the approach of the Shiite. The Shiite is the more benign wing of the Islamic world, and the Ayatollah Khamenei, the imam, is the, literally the pope of all the Shiites in the world," Mike Gravel told the American Foreign Policy magazine.

He noted that the sanctions should not have been imposed on Iran in the first place, and said the US should take political lesson from Iran and the country's leader.

Meantime, Gravel who attended a conference in Tehran last month, which was organized by Iran and titled Hollywoodism, strongly criticized the Hollywood's anti-Iran movie Argo. He like many other participants of the conference argued that Argo promotes anti-Iran and anti-Islam sentiments. Columnist In Hamas Daily Calls To Limit Women's Movement 'Because They Spread Diseases.'(Memri).Following a recent outbreak of swine flu in the West Bank, which later spread to Gaza as well, 'Issam Shawer, a columnist in the Hamas daily Falastin, wrote that women are the worst transmitters of diseases because they tend to gather in groups and to move from place to place. He advised them to wear a niqab, saying it protects them from infection, and called to limit their movement in the next few months in order to curb the spread of germs.

The following are excerpts from his article:

"The swine flu virus, H1N1, is spreading through the West Bank towns, especially the northern ones. Four people have died so far and dozens are sick, and the numbers are increasing, [though] we hope they will stop.
"I believe that women are the most numerous and fastest transmitters of viral diseases and epidemics such as swine flu, and I am not making baseless accusations when I describe them as such.
This is especially [true] in Arab societies like ours, which follow customs that are positive and pleasant, but are also deadly in [certain] unusual circumstances. [For example, when there is need] to make a condolence call, women emerge from every corner and flock from every direction, even from afar, and then congregate in one place. They comfort [the family] and also trade stories – this is very important to them – and spread news and rumors, but also viruses that waft through the stuffy air. Then they disperse, and many go on to perform some other duty at some other home or function hall. This is why I think women are the fastest transmitters of epidemics.
"Some of them take the necessary precautions and wear face masks when they are alone, yet, when they meet, they remove the masks in order to chat and to do what they are best at: exchanging news. But viruses also find their way to new victims in this manner. There is endless evidence that what we have said [here] about women [is true]. Therefore, they must understand that the duty of protecting the life and health of society is greater than other duties that can be performed in less harmful ways. Also, we cannot avoid mentioning the advantage of the niqab, worn by devout Muslim women, in protecting them from contagious diseases.
"Men, too, have a role in spreading infection, but since they keep busy, and are slower to perform their [social] duties and follow the traditional customs, they have a smaller role in this compared to the 'other side.' Nevertheless, they can [help] stop the spread of disease by avoiding some inappropriate customs like kissing [people] at weddings and funerals and serving coffee in non-disposable glasses. They can also take a greater part in fighting disease by imposing stricter constraints on the movement and gatherings of the womenfolk, as broadly as possible... at least in the next three months." “I don’t know if you know the genesis of the right to bear arms,” he said. “The Second Amendment comes from the right to protect themselves from slave revolts, and from uprisings by Native Americans.”

“A revolt from people who were stolen from their land or revolt from people whose land was stolen from, that’s what the genesis of the second amendment is,” he continued. Glover, best known for roles in the “Lethal Weapon” franchise and “Angels in the Outfield,” was addressing students at an event being held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Democratic Senator Diane Feinstein said Sunday that she will introduce a new ban on assault weapons when the new Congress convenes next year, and she expects President Barack Obama to support it.

Appearing on Meet The Press in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that killed 26 on Friday, Feinstein, who sponsored the first federal ban on assault weapons which expired in 2004, said she is ready to push to reinstate it.

"It's being done with care, it will be ready on the first day, I'll be announcing House authors, and we'll be prepared to go — and I hope the nation will be prepared to help," she said.

Asked whether Obama will speak out in favor of it, Feinstein said, "I believe he will."

Obama supported reinstating the ban in his 2008 campaign, but invested little political capital in it. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Friday that the ban "remain[s] a commitment of his," but administration officials have been mum on the type of "meaningful action" Obama will propose in response to the mass shooting.Hmmmm.....Will we hear Pres Obama announce the proposed ban today?

“This new report suggests that the President’s campaign did not take the appropriate measures to correct for the vulnerabilities uncovered during the previous election cycle, in which reports surfaced that the president’s campaign accepted a large number of excessive contributions and contributions from donors using fake names, suggesting a pattern of questionable behavior that is troubling,” Priebus wrote to Holder.Few Republicans think Holder will launch an investigation, but the request may spur coverage by the established media of the fund-raising concerns, which appear to be a repeat of Obama’s fund-raising practices in 2008.

“It’s almost becoming extremely offensive to us,” said Twila Barnes, a Cherokee genealogist who has researched Warren’s family tree. “We’re trying to get in contact and explain why her behavior hurts us and is offensive, and she totally ignores that. Like we don’t exist.”
Late last night, a Warren campaign official told the Herald that staffers will “connect” and “offer to have staff meet with them.” The four women, who Barnes said are all registered Cherokee tribal members — from Missouri, Oregon, Oklahoma and one within the Bay State — are due to arrive in Boston late today for four days. But they are closely guarding their itinerary, and Barnes would not say exactly what they have in mind. “We’re going to be visible. We have some things planned,” said Barnes, hinting: “It’s (Warren’s) birthday this week.” Politics isn’t a motivator, Barnes insisted. One of the women is a registered Democrat, and the other three are left-leaning independents, said Barnes, who said she voted for President Obama in 2008. “Everyone has put their political issues aside, because we feel we’re not going to sacrifice our integrity for a seat in Congress,” Barnes said. “She’s appropriating some history that we feel doesn’t belong to her,” Barnes said. “Minorities have experienced racism and when there’s interracial marriages, people do experience that sometimes. Every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate believes that telling the truth about the beneficial effects of Chinese Medicine, or medicinal herbs, or nutritional supplements should be a crime that can also get you raided, shut down and imprisoned by the FDA. 

There is not a single Democrat who sees anything wrong with the government sending herbal product formulators to prison. 

There is not a single Democrat who believes that an Amish farmer has the right to milk a cow and sell that milk to their neighbor without being threatened by the government.


This is an astonishing milestone in U.S. history. When those in Washington who pretend to represent the People openly and publicly vote to crush the very liberties and freedoms they claim to protect, you no longer have a real Democracy. You have a police state.

Only 15 Senate Republicans believe in liberty.

I do not know whether this Sunday’s 60 Minutes TV show with Lesley Stahl will contain honest reporting on the Turkish-Gulen Charter Schools or not, but hopefully it will. One thing that gives me hope is that the Gulenists are worried; this tells me that their usual propaganda techniques and obfuscation may not have worked with 60 Minutes.
Dr. Soner Tarim is the ONLY superintendent of the huge network of 36 Turkish-Gulen-Cosmos Foundation-Harmony Schools in Texas. These charter schools in Texas are supported with our tax dollars. Dr. Tarim sent out an e-mail blast to his supporters warning them about this 60 Minutes show and telling them that he refused to be interviewed for it.
Taxpayers should be very suspicious that Dr. Tarim has refused to make himself accessible to the press. Neither does Dr. Soner Tarim make himself accessible to the parents of the children in these schools.
I have had a number of parents write to me complaining that they have tried to contact their child’s school superintendent (Dr. Tarim) and could not get through to him.

The evidence resulted from a tip provided by a Legal Insurrection reader to a genealogical compilation of militia members who allegedly participated in the removal of the Cherokees from Georgia. The list included the name Jonathan Crawford, who was the husband of O.C. Sarah Smith, the person the Warren campaign has identified as Warren’s great-great-great grandmother and allegedly Cherokee. Since confirming this genealogical information was outside my comfort zone, I forwarded the information to author and genealogist Michael Patrick Leahy, who already had written about and investigated Warren’s genealogy. Leahy reaches the conclusion, based on a variety of sources, that Jonathan Crawford was indeed a member of the militia which rounded up Cherokees in the prelude to the Trail of Tears. Sarah Smith Crawford is that her husband, Ms. Warren’s great-great-great grandfather, was apparently a member of the Tennessee Militia who rounded up Cherokees from their family homes in the Southeastern United States and herded them into government-built stockades in what was then called Ross’s Landing (now Chattanooga), Tennessee—the point of origin for the horrific Trail of Tears, which began in January, 1837. 
Why is this the ultimate and cruelest irony? Who Warren’s great-great-great grandparents were or what they did should be irrelevant, except that Warren has incorporated “lore” about those victimized ancestors into her own personal, professional and, now, political narratives.Where are we as of this writing? Warren’s Native American self-narrative has not held up to scrutiny, so far. Worse still, that narrative has revealed a cruel irony in the form of Warren’s great-great-great grandfather, who was a member of the militia which rounded up the Cherokees in the prelude to the Trail of Tears.Hmmm......I hope the Indian Nation go's after her with every legal tool to their disposal.Read the full story here.

NY Orthodox Jewish Democrat Simcha Felder: " Obama has been a terrible president,".(CSNY).He’s not an Amigo. He’s not an IDCer. He’s Simcha Felder, political free agent. In an interview last night, Fedler, a Democrat, said he had not made a decision about which party he’ll caucus with in Albany if he wins election to the State Senate in November - and that his choice would rest on which party would provide the most resources to his prospective constituents. Felder, an ex-councilman who is the early favorite to win the heavily Orthodox Jewish district, and whose political plans have sparked intense speculation in local political circles, also seemed to suggest that his decision would be influenced by the outcome of the 2012 elections. He noted that the party holding the majority in Albany has historically held onto the capital’s purse strings. “I don’t see myself as someone who is part of either party, and I can say that to you without lying,” Felder said, adding, “You can assume that based on historical factors, whichever party is in the majority, is probably the one that gets the goods.” The chamber is currently divided 32-29 in favor of Republicans, though four members of the Democratic conference have also broken away to form their own faction, the Independent Democratic Conference. With the Senate so closely divided, Felder also called the hypothetical possibility of being the tie-breaking vote to decide Senate leadership a “dream situation,” since it would allow him to leverage the most resources for his potential the Senate district. 
But Felder’s political situation has been growing ever-more complex. Some Democrats close to Felder insist that the ex-councilman will conference with the Democrats regardless of who controls the majority. But other reports have emerged in the Borough Park press that the Senate Republicans, who have built a close relationship with the huge Jewish social service organization Agudath Israel, may well clear their line for Felder in some sort of a political deal.
And former Democratic City Councilman Noach Dear is making noise about running for the Senate seat, most likely as a Democrat, which would further complicate Felder’s situation. Felder says he has been given no assurances by Republicans about the party’s line - which would require the party handing over its Wilson-Pakula endorsement - and suggested that the outcome of a March 20 special election between Republican David Storobin and Democratic City Council Lew Fidler, which is dragging through a lengthy court fight, could be a factor. “I think in the end, all I can tell you is that there are too many variables out there,” Felder said, “and they’re going to be out there for awhile.”
Storobin has said he would run as a Republican in the new “Super Jewish” district if elected, though speculation ismounting that Storobin could end running for the Assembly instead. The only other declared candidate in the Senate race is Nachman Caller, a wealthy but politically unknown Republican, whose campaign circulated a photo of Caller voting in Tuesday’s presidential primary for Republican Mitt Romney. That was also meant highlight the fact that Felder voted in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary for Barack Obama - a vote could prove problematic in the Senate race, since Obama is deeply unpopular in Brooklyn’s Orthodox community. Felder says he now regrets the decision, and would not repeat it. “He’s been a terrible president,” Felder said of Obama. “Unfortunately, I was wrong, and I will certainly not be voting for the president in the upcoming election.” Felder, who cracked frequent jokes throughout the half-hour interview, only seemed to bristle a bit once, when asked about tabloid criticism over his decision - enabled through a loophole in the city charter - to keep his well-paid post as first deputy comptroller in John Liu’s office during the Senate campaign. Felder noted that the move was entirely legal, and suggested, tongue firmly in cheek, that he would stop campaigning during his off-hours when President Obama ceased campaigning during work hours.Hmmmm......The Tide is turning it seems.Read the full story here.
