“Ongoing preparatory work on the candidate list at AK Party headquarters is nothing more than [an exercise in] going through the motions to stay in line with the law,” Dengir Mir Mehmet Fırat, a former leading AK Party figure, told Today's Zaman, maintaining that the real list is being drawn up at the presidential palace by Erdoğan.

Political parties running in the parliamentary elections are required to submit their individual lists of candidates stating who will run for deputy positions on their party's tickets to the Supreme Election Board (YSK) by the end of work time on April 7.

Ömer Şahin, a columnist for the Meydan daily, also believes Erdoğan will have the final say on the ruling party's list. If Erdoğan is against a candidate favored by Davutoğlu, then that candidate would have no chance to run for a deputy position on the ruling party ticket, Şahin said in his column on Monday. But he believes it would not be at all possible for Davutoğlu to oppose the candidacy of a person favored by Erdoğan.

It is expected that the main criteria in the selection of candidates who will run on the ruling party's ticket will be loyalty to the party, but particularly to Erdoğan. People from the ruling party say the candidates will be selected among those who are loyal to Erdoğan, Şahin said.

Erdoğan, nicknamed as “chief” in the AK Party, headed AK party governments and the party for more than 11 years before being elected president in August last year.

“A team of candidates, mostly composed of young people, who would bow [to Erdoğan], who would not question, but just accept what is said is being formed. … It is the candidate list of the presidential palace which is being prepared rather than a list of names who would represent people,” said Fırat, who resigned from his posts in the party at the end of 2008.

To ensure complete submission to the “chief” on the part of the chosen deputy candidates, a high number of current ruling party deputies will be eliminated, analysts agree. Hmmmm.......The 'Dictator' is cementing his base. Read the full story here.

“When he wonders (regarding Republicans) if he could do something else ‘to make these guys not paint horns on my head’ we indeed should be frightened beyond belief. He suggests America is in for a devil of a time to put it mildly – that deep down he harbors evil intentions,” Hodges said.

If this type of organization has existed before in American politics on any similar scale, I’m not aware of it.
There are excellent reasons why we haven’t had mass groups devoted to powerful leaders in this country. Our whole system of government is designed to provide checks to protect against the accretion of too much power, to forestall mob rule. A mass organization that does the bidding of a single individual who also happens to be the president of the United States undermines such intentions.
I don’t think Obama has plans to do something nefarious with this group. I think he wants a streamlined organization that will help him achieve his domestic agenda. But once such an organization is uncorked, it is impossible to tell what path it and its leader may travel as the frustrations with governing grow or crises ensue.
Other mass movements in the United States, including the political Parties, are devoted to ideas or causes. They have checks within them, factions that debate and influence each other. But this one is the reincarnation of Obama’s former campaign and, presumably, it will respond to his dictates.
After the 2008 election, the campaign apparatus was at least nominally stuck within the Democratic Party and largely put on ice until the next election. Not this time.
What’s more, according to Politico, OFA will be classified as a 501(c)4 group, which means donors can give it as much money as they want and none of the contributors’ names need be released. Never mind that Obama has ardently opposed this kind of thing for years.
Known during the campaign as Obama for America, the group includes the millions of people signed up to receive emails from the Obama campaign and thousands of activists ready to man phone banks, knock on doors, annoy their lawmakers and otherwise make things happen for the president.
The group was superbly well organized under campaign manager Jim Messina, who will maintain leadership. Senior Obama operatives like Robert Gibbs, David Plouffe, and Stephanie Cutter will sit on the board. The group will no doubt employ many of the leftist community organizing principles Obama learned years ago in Chicago.
“We’ve got to keep working on growing the economy from the middle out, along with making meaningful progress on the issues we care about — immigration reform, climate change, balanced deficit reduction, reducing gun violence, and the implementation of the Affordable Care Act,” Obama wrote. “I’m not going to be able to take them on without you.”

During a Monday meeting to discuss gun violence with Democratic members of Congress, Biden told the small group that he and Obama have the campaign’s organizations at its disposal as it seeks to influence public opinion on guns.
Then again Thursday at the U.S. Conference of Mayors, Biden again made reference to building a campaign out to support Obama’s agenda.
“We’re going to take this fight to the halls of Congress, Biden said of the gun control fight. “We’re going to take it beyond that. We’re going to take it to the American people. We’re going to go around the country making our case, and we’re going to let the voices, the voices of the American people be heard.”
Hmmm.....sounds almost like someone is planning to 'abolish' Congress all together.
In case there was any mistaking the very personal nature of the new organization, Obama himself announced it in an email to supporters and included a link to a video of Michelle discussing the group and mentioning things like “one of my first dates with Barack.”

Promises of higher wages and more attractive working conditions aren't doing the trick as workers continue to seek more lucrative employment in neighboring Russia.
So President Alyaksandr Lukashenka has come up with a different idea: forced labor.
"A decree is being prepared that says that until the end of the planned modernization and reconstruction of [wood-processing] enterprises [in 2015], workers are forbidden from quitting their jobs," Lukashenka announced during a visit to the Barysaudrev wood-processing plant in Barysau, a bleak industrial city about 40 kilometers northeast of Minsk, on November 30. "

Workers cannot quit their jobs without the agreement and permission of the management of the enterprise."
He added that workers who left their jobs despite the warning would be sentenced to compulsory labor and returned to the production line.
The presidential decree codifying the threat was issued on December 7.
​​ "The only novelty here from the legal standpoint is the concept of forced employment, which is completely illegal," Syarhey Antusevich, deputy chairman of the Belarus Congress of Democratic Labor Unions, said. "I think that maybe the leader of the country just went off on a tangent, as he is sometimes prone to do, and decided to solve some serious, real problems in this way."
Stephen Benedict, the director of human and trade union rights at the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) in Brussels, said Lukashenka's proposal violates the conventions of the UN's International Labor Organization (ILO), of which Belarus is a member.
"We think this is a direct and absolute violation of the most fundamental principles and rights of workers," Benedict said. "There are ILO conventions that very clearly lay these rights out, and Mr. Lukashenka is completely denying these rights and ignoring the advice that he has repeatedly received [from international organizations]."
At the end of November, Lukashenka declared 2013 to be "The Year of Frugality" in Belarus. Among other goals, the initiative aims to enhance "economic security" through "raising labor productivity" and "the rational use of resources."
"The measures outlined by the Year of Frugality will be aimed at raising the frugality awareness of every person, encouraging frugal attitudes in and out of their workstations," the decree states.Read the full story here.

In a speaking engagement that looked suspiciously like a campaign stump speech, on Wednesday, Barack Obama implied that if Republicans attempted to tie the debt ceiling to the budgetary negotiations, he might ignore them, stating “We’re not going to play that game.”
All along, Obama has shown a willingness to exceed his constitutional authority.
Since the Debt Ceiling debacle of 2011, there’s word circulating in leftist circles that under the 14th Amendment, there is some authority for the President to ignore Congress in order to satisfy the payment of our debts, but no such authority exists in the 14th Amendment. This is a troubling proposition, and the fact that our Prevaricator-in-Chief now makes these kinds of implications portends potentially lethal danger to our republic. Obama has made little secret of the fact that he detests the prohibitions on excessive government authority in the US Constitution, but ladies and gentlemen, if he hasn’t gone too far already, this should be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back.
To help you understand what this ludicrous, malevolent narcissist has in mind, let’s first view his speech to the Business Roundtable on Wednesday. The most interesting remarks come after the 13:00 mark, but the whole of the speech offers insight into the maniacal thinking of this man. Prime Minister Erdoğan has on many occasions expressed his dislike of the Turkish television series “Muhteşem Yüzyıl” (Magnificent Century), which is centered on life in the harem during the reign of Ottoman Sultan Süleyman, also known as Süleyman the Magnificent.
However, last month, Erdoğan took a further step by calling on prosecutors to act, saying he feels the series distorts history, belittles the country's “ancestors” and should be banned. The prime minister was heavily criticized for his intervention, which many say is anti-democratic, believing that producers and writers have the right to present their understanding of history for television shows or works of art, while others have felt the need to show their support of the prime minister's remarks.
Earlier this week, a Justice and Development Party (AK Party) deputy proposed a bill to Parliament to make it a crime to “distort” history in television series or literary works. THY jumped on the bandwagon on Thursday, with a THY official announcing that “Magnificent Century,” which is available on the airline's in-flight entertainment system, Planet, in both English and Turkish, will no longer be shown onboard. The official said the show was initially included on the program list for December but that it will not be shown as per the airline's latest decision. “We were going to air the series ‘Magnificent Century' on Planet, but the prime minister's negative views about the series led us to abandon this decision, and we won't be including it.” Erdoğan claims Süleyman the Magnificent spent most of his life on horseback, going from battleground to battleground, and criticizes the series because in the show the great sultan spends too much time in the palace with the women in his harem. Obama 'Admin' calls on Egypt protesters to have restraint.(BM).CAIRO: The United States has called on anti-President Mohamed Morsi protesters and the government in Egypt to show “restraint.” The State Department spokesman Mark Toner was quoted as saying that the White House was also following the situation closely. “We would simply urge that protesters express their views peacefully and that they be given the environment, if you will, to protest peacefully,” AFP reported Toner as saying. Toner acknowledged that tensions were high Cairo, where thousands of people surrounded the presidential palace to denounce a decree expanding Morsi’s powers and placing him beyond judicial oversight. Toner stressed that the Egyptian people should have the opportunity to express themselves on a new constitution that is moving toward a referendum on December 15. “In the coming days, it’s going to be important that they have an opportunity to express their views, as I said, peacefully, and ultimately that they are able to express their views in a vote, in a peaceful and secure environment,” Toner said.
The statement came as hundreds of thousands of Egyptians have taken to the country’s streets calling for an end to Morsi’s regime. Protesters in Tahrir told Bikyamasr.com that they are “here to stay” until Morsi has withdrawn his presidential decree issued on November 22 that gave him powers above judicial review. Others said this was the revolution “continuing.” A march to the palace continues to grow on Tuesday night, with the chanting loud and boisterous. “We want the downfall of the regime,” is being screamed, in unison, toward the house that Morsi has lived in since early July. He reportedly fled the area as the protesters arrived and clashed with police. A number of police have since joined the protesters in their march, an eery remembrance to the police who also joined the anti-Hosni Mubarak demonstrations in January and February 2011. The chants, “the people want the downfall of the regime,” is echoing throughout Cairo near Morsi’s residence in what activists and citizens have described as a “revolution in the making.” The march to the palace comes less than two weeks after Morsi issued a presidential decree that gives him powers above judiciary review, which activists have called a power grab. The boisterous march, dubbed the “Last Warning” is seen by many as the final attempt to open dialogue between the left and the conservative Morsi regime. Egypt's President Mohammed Mursi has issued a declaration banning challenges to his decrees, laws and decisions.
The declaration also says no court can dissolve the constituent assembly, which is drawing up a new constitution.
President Mursi also sacked the chief prosecutor and ordered the retrial of people accused of attacking protesters when ex-President Mubarak held office. Egyptian opposition leader Mohammed ElBaradei accused Mr Mursi of acting like a "new pharaoh".
In a joint news conference held late on Thursday, Mr ElBaradai and other opposition figures described the declaration as a "coup against legitimacy" and called on Egyptians to take to the streets in protest. ...
The declaration also gives the 100-member constituent assembly two additional months to draft a new constitution, to replace the one suspended after President Mubarak was overthrown.
The re-write of the constitution, which was meant to be finished by December, has been plagued by dozens of lawsuits questioning the make-up of the constituent assembly.
Once completed, the document should then be put to a referendum. If it is approved, legislative elections will be held two months later. Last month, the Supreme Constitutional Court rejected a first draft released by the assembly, saying that it tried to limit the courts' powers and interfere in judicial affairs.
... But Mr ElBaradei said the decree effectively placed the president above the law. "Mursi today usurped all state powers and appointed himself Egypt's new pharaoh. A major blow to the revolution that could have dire consequences," the Nobel Peace Prize winner wrote on his Twitter account.
The vice-president of the Supreme Constitutional Court, Tahani al-Gebali, told the Spanish news agency Efe that Mr Mursi was now an "illegitimate president".
The Egyptian Judges' Club has called an extraordinary meeting to discuss Mr Mursi's decision. "The state of law is at stake," the association said in a public statement. Meanwhile Heba Morayef, the Egypt director for Human Rights Watch, said that while the country needed judicial reform, "granting the president absolute power and immunity is not the way to do it".
It will be interesting to see how the Obama administration reacts to this and whether Congress tries to place conditions on Egypt's aid money. But from Israel's perspective this proves, yet again, how fragile the Camp David Treaty is and how foolish the Americans were to abet throwing Mubarak out.
Oh yeah - it also proves that elections do not make a democracy. The Pentagon is buying Chevrolet Volts to help “green up” the military—while propping up sales of the bailed-out automaker’s most politicized car. The Department of Defense began purchasing the struggling luxury electric car, which retails at $40,000, this summer as part of its goal to purchase 1,500 such green vehicles.
The Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar, Calif. purchased its first two Volts in July, and 18 more vehicles will come shortly to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, where Air Force One is based, according to military magazine Stars and Stripes.
The Obama administration championed the production of the Volt. Along with the president’s pledge this year to “buy one and drive it myself … five years from now when I’m not president anymore,” the government offers a $7,500 tax break to encourage sales. Such perks, however, have failed to drive consumers to GM car lots. The vehicle has been forced to suspend production twice this year after the Volt failed to gain a foothold in the marketplace. GM is now offering the vehicle for as low as $169 per month, a financing deal that is generally reserved for $15,000 cars—a price so low that GM is reportedly losing nearly $50,000 per vehicle.  “Democrats and Republicans came together to give President Obama more power to appoint officials jobs in his administration without seeking approval from the Senate.” 

This bill will go into effect anywhere from 0-60 days from the date of President Obama signing it. The Senate approved the bill, 79-20, in June 2011. The House approved it, 261-116, last month. “In the middle of election season, Democrats and Republicans in Congress have come together to give President Barack Obama more power to appoint officials to jobs in his administration without seeking approval from the Senate.” Yes, you read correctly: more power. 
The article went on to point out just why this didn’t break across mainstream media: Lost in the hubbub last weekend over Rep. Paul Ryan’s selection as Mitt Romney’s running mate was the fact that Obama signed a bill that eliminates the need to obtain Senate confirmation for about 170 executive branch posts: the Presidential Appointment Efficiency and Streamlining Act of 2011. Senator Lieberman, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs, which marked up and reported out the measure, said: “This bipartisan legislation represents the Senate at its best. A problem was identified, and Democrats and Republicans worked together to craft a solution. Now, future Administrations will be able to get their teams in place more quickly, and the Senate will be able focus its time and energy on the most important Executive Branch appointments. In no way does this bill erode the Senate’s role of “advice and consent.” Rather, it strengthens the Senate’s power by freeing us up to concentrate on nominees who will actually shape national policy.” This is very concerning, this gives Obama the legal right to hire who he wants without approval from the senate for the following positions.

Now, however, they appear to have morphed into yet another taxpayer-subsidized campaign commercial for the Obama Administration.
The old Background Notes were sui generis—useful reference materials that were more comprehensive than the practical but choppy CIA “Factbook” and other U.S. government publications. Now, though, State has dropped everything from the Background Notes but the section on relations with the U.S. No more historical context, no recounting of complex and long-standing issues in the country. Just cut to the chase—that is, the time when the current Administration came to power.
Compare the nearly 1,200-word “Fact Sheet” published this week by the U.S. embassy in Brazil with the last Background Note on Brazil written during the George W. Bush Administration.
The 4,100-word Bush document, chock full of facts and figures helpful in analyzing the country and its importance to the U.S., never once mentions the name of any U.S. President. The 300-word section on U.S.–Brazil relations takes up about 7 percent of the document.
Conversely, fully 70 percent (830 words) of the Brazil Fact Sheet, which is focused exclusively on U.S. relations with Brazil, discusses President Obama either directly by name (twice!) or in the context of the plethora of programs his Administration has launched with Brazil, including a shared “commitment to combat discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, or lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) status; to advance gender equality; a bilateral instrument that targets racism; support for HIV/AIDS prevention, promotion of clean energy technologies in Brazil, and mitigation of climate change.”
There is no mention, however, of how much these many programs are costing the American taxpayer.So, apparently, the need for historical context is selectively applied. And although President Obama visited Chile on the same March 2011 trip he made to Brazil, there is no mention of it in the document.
Since President Obama took office, the budget of the State Department has increased from $38.7 billion to $50.2 billion, and thousands have been added to the payroll. As many as 1.76 million young illegal immigrants could qualify for temporary legal status under President Obama’s deferred action program, says a new report from the Migration Policy Institute. 

That’s more than double the Obama administration’s initial estimate of 800,000 people who would benefit from the program. The new number reflects the Obama administration’s updated guidelines released last Friday depicting who qualifies for the temporary legal status. Initially, only young illegal immigrants under 30 who entered the country as children, graduated from high school and had no criminal record would make the cut. Now, young people who didn’t graduate or receive their G.E.D. can still apply for the legal status as long as they re-enroll in high school by the time they apply. The government will begin accepting applications online on August 15, and administration officials said the nearly $500 application fee will completely pay for the administrative costs of reviewing the applications. Their objective is the establishment of a global dictatorship under their iron control and they are not willing to back off one inch from the target set by them over a couple of centuries ago. In order to achieve their target, they have passed laws that have done away with civil liberties and freedom of speech in the Western countries.
Simultaneously, they are destroying the middle class of the US and other advanced countries because it is the middle class that fight for values of freedom of speech and expression. Religious faith has been on their hit list for decades because religion makes people strong and gives them the ability to resist dictators. Ironically, it is the middle class that has been, through its creativity, the source of most power that is now in the hands of this elite. In the US, over eight million homes have been foreclosed since 2007, driving tens of millions out into tent cities or streets, leading vagabond lives. The number of foreclosed homes is expected to rise to 10 million by the end of 2012. This tragedy in which tens of millions have been rendered homeless and hungry by design is unreported by the mainstream media. The great propaganda organs of the elite, like New York Times and Fox News, are silent! The editors and reporters know who owns them and pays them. They can concoct, distort and merge fact and fiction without batting an eyelid! In this propagation of falsehood, they have the guidance of the most sophisticated scientific institutes. All they want to do is to frighten people and raise war hysteria, so that the agenda for dictatorship at home and war abroad can be pursued.
It has been reported that recently the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of the USA has placed an order for 450 million bullets, enough for a seven-year war! These bullets, purchased at the expense of US taxpayers, will be used to quell hungry and rioting masses. Some of the riots will be incited by the agencies. This will be done under the command of the banking cabal so as to unleash repressive measures after confusing the public. The bullets ordered are “hollow point” bullets that offer “optimum penetration for terminal procedures.” The US Ambassador to Israel has recently stated that the plans to attack Iran had been completed. The Congress is considering legislation that has a clause, whereby the US may attack Iran if it achieves nuclear “capability”. The word “capability” is vague and once the legislation is passed, the road to attack in Iran will be open - regardless of whether or not it becomes a nuclear power.
It has also been reported that Russia anticipates an attack on Iran during the current year and has drawn plans to move its troops to Iran through Georgia to Armenia. The former Russian Ambassador to Nato, Dmitry Rogozin, has clearly stated that an attack on Iran “is a direct threat to our security.” China has already said that it might have to wage war to save Iran. 
On May 7, 2012, it was reported that President Dmitry Medvedev had stated that Russia will retaliate militarily if does not arrive at any agreement with the US and Nato on the Missile Defence Shield being erected near its borders. General Nikolai Makarov, the Russian Chief of General Staff, was quoted as having stated: “A decision to use destructive force pre-emptively will be taken if the situation worsens.”
On May 14, 2012, it was reported that Mr Putin has cancelled a scheduled meeting with Obama and has announced that he will not attend the G-8 Summit. The announcement was made after an Obama security aide told Putin that the “the world may be about to end.” This is, obviously, a veiled threat of a world war. In a tit for tat, it was announced that Obama would not attend the annual Asia-Pacific Summit being held in Vladivostok in September 2012. It is clear that the controllers of the US are determined to attack Iran come what may and this will mean the inevitable involvement of Russia and China in the conflict. This conflict is not likely to end quickly, nor will anyone be able to control the outcome. Russia and China cannot sit idly by and let the ‘controllers’ capture every major energy resource and cripple them. JW Probe: Special WH Access For Obama-Tied founded by Van Jones, Anti-Gun Groups Against Voter ID Laws.(JW).A radical leftwing group that’s led a damaging boycott against corporations that support gun rights and voter identification laws has special access to the Obama White House and strong ties to top Democrats, according to internal documents obtained in the course of a Judicial Watch investigation.

The JW probe initially focused on a nonprofit (Color of Change) that claims to “strengthen Black America’s political voice” but uncovered an intricate brew of like-minded groups that have joined forces to push their common agenda against voter ID measures and gun rights, including “stand your ground” laws. The groups, all tax-exempt nonprofits, wield tremendous power because they have alarming access to the Obama White House and strong ties to top Democratic figures connected to the president, JW found.

Here is a sample of what these community organizations are about, straight from Color of Change’s website (incidentally, the group was founded by Obama pal Van Jones, whose radical, racist history got him booted as “Green Czar”): “For years, the right wing has been trying to stop Black people, other people of color, young people, and the elderly from voting — and now some of America’s biggest companies are helping them do it. These companies have helped pass discriminatory voter ID legislation by funding a right wing policy group called the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).”

ALEC is an influential conservative organization of state legislators and private companies that helps craft laws that often get enacted nationwide. An example is Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, which allows victims of violence to use deadly force when attacked outside their homes. The measure, adopted in two dozen states, has come under fire from the left after a black Florida teenager was killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer this year. Color of Change has led a successful corporate boycott campaign against ALEC for its support of stand your ground laws.

Joining Color of Change in its mission and at White House visits are the equally radical leftist groups New Organization Institute, which called for the national demonstrations to “end economic segregation” and social injustice in the U.S. (Occupy Wall Street), and the League of Young Voters, which claims to help low-income communities of color have an impact on elections and federal policy. 

The Ruckus Society, which provides “direct action” training for protestors, is also part of the syndicate and so is the founder of a national hip-hop movement, Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur.

The White House welcomed representatives from the groups at least twice in 2011, according to records obtained by JW. On February 18 James Rucker, Color of Change’s executive director, had a one-on-one meeting with Miti Sathe, the Assistant Director of Youth Outreach in the Office of Public Engagement. On April 12 Rucker and representatives from the other organizations met with Kalpen Modi, the Associate Director of the Office of Public Engagement.

JW found that Color of Change isn’t the only group with deep ties to the president. The New Organization Institute is, not only run by Obama campaign operatives, it also shares office space in Washington D.C. with Democratic Gain, a nonprofit whose leadership consists almost entirely of Democratic Party, union, and Obama campaign veterans. Among those listed as directors at the New Organization Institute are Obama campaign agents such as Judith Freeman and Zack Exley, who also helped run Massachusetts Senator John Kerry’s failed presidential campaign. With escalating fears regarding the stability of the eurozone, today King World News interviewed former LBMA commodities broker and trader and current MEP Nigel Farage to get his take on the situation. Farage told KWN he believes there will be an attempt, within months, to install a dictatorship in Europe. Here is what Farage had to say about the deteriorating situation: “Frankly, the whole thing is falling apart. And in the middle of all of this, Mrs Merkel came out and said, The fiscal treaty cannot be renegotiated, and it must hold.’ So, I suppose, for once, we’ve got the Germans providing the humor, because this thing isn’t going to hold.” Nigel Farage continues: “I now believe the euro and the whole euro system are now in, by far, the deepest crisis that we’ve seen. We are in totally uncharted, chaotic territory. In some ways the ball is very much on the German side of the court. If they are unable to impose the discipline they thought this new Compact Treaty would give them, then maybe it’s the Germans that say, ‘Right, Greece you’ve got to leave.’ We know once Greece leaves, the dominos start to fall. To say that it’s a total mess is entirely accurate. You cannot have national democracy and this new form of economic and political government. We’ve seen these guys do some terrible things. I mean they’ve gotten rid of elected Prime Ministers in Greece and Italy. But they cannot at the moment, without imposing a total dictatorship, stop general elections from taking place in countries... 
“If you put me up against a wall and ask, ‘What’s really going to happen?’ My guess is, with the whole thing being unmanageable, we face the prospects of the markets just overwhelming this. (We risk) bond spreads heading to completely crazy levels. And French and German bank shares could be in very real trouble. I am back in Brussels today, and yeah, you can really see the fear in their (politicians) faces. They know that this thing (the EU) has become an absolute monster. 
We still don’t have many political voices that have the courage to say, ‘We’re headed for the rocks, and before we hit the rocks, let’s take a different course. Let’s try to break this thing up peaceably, before it ends in disaster.’ It’s always the case in history that the establishment always supports the status quo and says, ‘If what we have today breaks up, the sky will fall.’ But actually, I think the only way we can avoid a depression is to break this (the EU) up.” 
Farage also added: “It’s astonishing. I mean the European Parliament meets tomorrow, and there is a debate about the emergency. Would you believe it, that Mr. Barroso, the President of the Commission, and my old mate Herman van Rumpuy, the European President, are both not going to be there because they have previous engagements? Even if they do have previous engagements, surely nothing could be more important than to come before the one representative assembly for half a billion people here in Europe. It looks as though these guys are hiding in their bunkers, pretending it’s not happening. What these guys in the EU are going to try to do is, as this crisis gets worse and descends, there will be an attempt at some point in the next few months for them to set up something that will be very like a dictatorship. I’m not sure now, with the public mood, that they will get away with it ... the similarities (to the 30s) are really rather chilling.” Farage had this to say about gold: “I think the short-term speculative market had gotten itself too long of gold, and I’ve been warning about that for some months on your program. Just too many of the weak longs were there and they need to be flushed out of this marketplace. That process is beginning to happen. But my goodness me, with everything else I’ve seen over the last 72 hours in Europe, buy gold on dips.” This is an incredibly powerful and timely interview with Farage. We Are Preparing For Massive Civil War, Says DHS Informant.(BIIN).In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America. “We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising.” Hagmann goes on to say that his sources tell him the concerns of the DHS stem from a collapse of the U.S. dollar and the hyperinflation a collapse in the value of the world’s primary reserve currency implies to a nation of 311 million Americans, who, for the significant portion of the population, is armed. Uprisings in Greece is, indeed, a problem, but an uprising of armed Americans becomes a matter of serious national security, a point addressed in a recent report by the Pentagon and highlighted as a vulnerability and threat to the U.S. during war-game exercises at the Department of Defense last year, according to one of the DoD’s war-game participants, Jim Rickards, author of Currency Wars: The Making of the Next Global Crisis. Through his sources, Hagmann confirmed Rickards’ ongoing thesis of a fear of a U.S. dollar collapse at the hands of the Chinese (U.S. treasury bond holders of approximately $1 trillion) and, possibly, the Russians (threatening to launch a gold-backed ruble as an attractive alternative to the U.S. dollar) in retaliation for aggressive U.S. foreign policy initiatives against China’s and Russia’s strategic allies Iran and Syria. “The one source that we have I’ve known since 1979,” Hagmann continued. “He started out as a patrol officer and currently he is now working for a federal agency under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security; he’s in a position to know what policies are being initiated, what policies are being planned at this point, and he’s telling us right now—look, what you’re seeing is just the tip of the iceberg. We are preparing, we, meaning the government, we are preparing for a massive civil war in this country.” 
“There’s no hyperbole here,” he added, echoing Trends Research Institute’s Founder Gerald Celente’s forecast of last year. Celente expects a collapse of the U.S. dollar and riots in America some time this year. Since Celente’s ‘Civil War’ prediction of last year, executive orders NDAA and National Defense Resources Preparedness were signed into law by President Obama, which are both politically damaging actions taken by a sitting president. And most recently, requests made by the DHS for the procurement of 450 million rounds of hollow-point ammunition only fuels speculation of an upcoming tragic event expected on American soil. These major events, as shocking to the American people as they are, have taken place during an election year. Escalating preparatory activities by the executive branch and DHS throughout the last decade—from the Patriot Act, to countless executive orders drafted to suspend (or strip) American civil liberties “are just the beginning” of the nightmare to come, Hagmann said. He added, “It’s going to get so much worse toward the election, and I’m not even sure we’re going to have an election in this country. It’s going to be that bad, and this, as well, is coming from my sources. But one source in particular said, ‘look, you don’t understand how bad it is.’ This stuff is real; these people, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), they are ready to fight the American people.” TruNews‘ Wiles asked Hagmann: who does the DHS expect to fight, in particular? Another North versus South, the Yankees against the Confederates? Hagmann stated the situation is far worse than a struggle between any two factions within the U.S.; it’s an anticipated nationwide emergency event centered on the nation’s currency. “What they [DHS] are expecting, and again, this is according to my sources, what they’re expecting is the un-sustainability of the American dollar,” Hagmann said. “And we know for a fact that we can no longer service our debt. Obama Issues New Threat to Supreme Court over ObamaCare.(CFP).By Sher Zieve.In his latest display of his full USA federal government dictatorship over both the American people and the former co-branches of government, Obama is warning the Supreme Court to either rule in his favor or face severe consequences. Fox News’ Martha McCallum advised Thursday that the Obama Administration has been quietly sending missives to the Supreme Court threatening that if it doesn’t rule in his favor on ObamaCare, Medicare will face disruption and “chaos.” Therefore, if SCOTUS rules in favor of the US Constitution, Obama and Co will begin its campaign to either destroy Medicare or make those on it suffer greatly. The Obama Administration is said to be threatening to hold off Medicare payments to doctors and hospitals if SCOTUS does not comply with Obama’s demands and submit to him. As an additional example of Obama’s illegal and (I believe) highly treasonous behaviors, on 1 May and 2 May Obama issued two additional unconstitutional and illegal Executive Orders. The first E.O., issued 1 May 2012, makes the USA subject to “international regulations” as opposed to looking to and following the US Constitution. Also, with this new E.O., the US FDA will now be able to be bypassed by International committees—thus, replacing the FDA with any international group which may be chosen. In essence, Obama is quickly eliminating US Sovereignty and selling the USA to the international “community.” The second E.O. issued in 2 days was signed by Obama on 2 May 2012. This E.O. instructs the USA to bow to international regulations instead of the US Constitution and Businessweek reports: “Obama’s order provides a framework to organize scattered efforts to promote international regulatory cooperation, the chamber’s top global regulatory official said today. “Today’s executive order marks a paradigm shift for U.S. regulators by directing them to take the international implications of their work into account in a consistent and comprehensive way,” Sean Heather, vice president of the chamber’s Center for Global Regulatory Cooperation, said in an e-mailed statement.” This also brings the USA closer to becoming a “North American Union” and—also—eliminating its sovereignty—in toto. Suffice it to say, no one in Congress has issued even the proverbial “peep” over either of these illegal “orders.” Do the American people really want to continue to live under this blatant tyranny? The second question is “Will the Supreme Court of the United States of America bow to Obama and give up its co-equal status to the dictator as the US Congress has already done?” If so, perhaps its time for We-the-People to recruit the Honduran Supreme Court who, along with their military, ousted its then President Manuel Zelaya who had become a dictator. Is Common Cause’s complaint against The American Legislative Exchange Council valid, or is it a smear against a successful conservative advocacy group?

My response:
Common Cause has joined such bully-boys as the discredited former White House aide Van Jones and his “Color of Change” to do what the Left does best—smear those who oppose their political agenda.
The American Legislative Exchange Council is a reputable organization of thousands of conservative and libertarian state legislators from across the country. They meet periodically to develop legislative proposals aimed at pro-growth solutions to problems facing their various states. ”Stand Your Ground” and voter-ID laws have constituted only a small part of ALEC’s agenda over the years.
But this is an especially important election year, so all the stops are out for the Left. And it starts at the top. For a chilling account of the tactics to which Obama is now stooping, read Kim Strassel’s piece in this morning’s Wall Street Journal. At an Obama campaign website we find ”Behind the curtain: A brief history of Romney’s donors.” Its purpose is plain as day: to expose and shame private citizens who’ve had the temerity to donate to the Romney campaign. “Quite a few,” the post charges, have been “on the wrong side of the law.” Their “crimes”? One is a lobbyist, another a hedge-fund manager, another outsourced jobs.
We haven’t seen such tactics since the days of Nixon’s “enemies list.” This is Axelrod and Chicago politics, and it’s not going to get any better, because Obama can’t run on his record.
