Saxony security Chief warns: "'Muslim Brotherhood expands presence in Germany, seeks to establish Sharia law". (RT).
Islamic radicals from the Muslim Brotherhood are actively trying to gain a "monopoly" over mosques in the eastern German state of Saxony to attract more followers and increase their influence, the local security service chief has warned.
The members of the radical Salafist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, which was established in Egypt in 1928, “have long been active in Saxony, although they were stealthy,” Gordian Meyer-Plath, the president of the regional department of the German domestic security and anti-terrorist service, the BfV, told Germany’s MDR broadcaster.
Meyer-Plath warned, however, that “only now, when a [large] number of Muslims have come to Germany, do they see a chance to expand their network beyond some central structures and become interesting for the new Muslims in Saxony.”
While downplaying the threat posed by the Muslim Brotherhood in Germany as being “beyond Jihad,” meaning that the group is not actively involved in terrorist attacks, the security official pointed to the threat it poses to democratic society.
“The Muslim Brothers still want to establish Sharia law in Germany,” which would have grave consequences for religious freedom, women’s rights and democratic values, Meyer-Plath said.
The group is active in about 70 countries, where it builds mosques, schools and hospitals, presents itself as a democratic force and officially distances itself from an idea of the global Jihad in an attempt to win the sympathies of locals.
In Saxony, the Salafist group has been actively sponsoring the construction of new mosques. It has already built several mosques and plans construction of more places of worship in such cities as Dresden, Leipzig, Meissen, Riesa, Pirna, Bautzen und Goerlitz.
Meyer-Plath drew attention to the fact that, while western Germany has numerous Muslim associations that offer their services to newly arrived Muslims, the eastern part of the country lacks them. The Muslim Brotherhood “is trying to break into this vacuum and secure a monopolistic position,” he said, adding that the opportunity to spread the group’s influence came with the ongoing refugee and migrant influx from Muslim-majority countries.
“Offering prayers is a religious duty for Muslims. And when there are no [other] mosques in the region, they go to those that exist there,” Meyer-Plath explained, adding that “it is needless to say that it is a bad situation when the only Muslim structures in the area are controlled by Islamists and political extremists.”
The security official believes that the group has vast financial reserves as it does not lack money for sponsoring new construction projects or just buying real estate.
“They are going through the land with a fantastic sum of money and are just buying real property” to turn it into mosques, Meyer-Plath said, adding that the local Muslims often appreciate their efforts. Read the full story here.
'The credibility of Turkey's EU road rests today with PM Davutoglu. If he leaves, All bets are off': Carl Bildt. (BBC).
Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu says he will stand down at an extraordinary congress of his ruling AK Party later this month.
Speculation about his resignation has been rife since Mr Davutoglu met President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday.
He is long thought to have disapproved of Mr Erdogan's plans to move Turkey to a presidential system of government.
He announced his resignation after holding talks with party leaders.
The congress would be held on 22 May, he said.
Turkey is also in the midst of implementing a key deal with the European Union, brokered by Mr Davutoglu, to limit the number of refugees flowing across its border in return for accelerated EU accession talks and financial aid.
The future of that agreement, which Mr Davutoglu was seen as having agreed with little input from the president, could be plunged into doubt by his departure.
Who will be his successor?
Among those tipped as successors to Mr Davutoglu are Transport Minister Binali Yildirim, who is close to Mr Erdogan, and Energy Minister Berat Albayrak, who is the president's son-in-law.
They will be formally elected at the party congress.
What has been the fall-out?
The political uncertainty has rattled the financial markets. The Turkish lira suffered its heaviest daily loss on Wednesday, down almost 4% against the US dollar. It rallied slightly on Thursday but was still well off its previous trading levels. Hmmmm..........Erdogan is acting just like Hitler, who removed Ernst Röhm The SA leader to have a one man dictatorship, we just got a whole lot closer to WWIII. Read the full story here.
Turkish Embassy pressured Swedish TV4 to not broadcast documentary about Assyrian Genocide tonight. (tv4gruppen).
To whom it may concern,
I have been informed that a documentary film, “Seyfofilmen” would be broadcasted on the Channel TV4 Fakta on Sunday, April 24, 2016.
First of all, I fully respect freedom of expression and your esteemed Channel’s full liberty to broadcast on any issue.
I don’t want to prejudge the content of Seyfofilmen. However, I would like to provide you with some information regarding the events of 1915.
As you are aware, in the last years of the Ottoman Empire and the WWI all people of the Empire have greatly suffered regardless of their religious or ethnic origin.
To recall that period of History in a fair and objective manner is a prerequisite not only for shedding light on the present and future, but also for expressing our indebtedness to all those who have suffered.
There is no historical, academic or legal consensus on how to define “the 1915 events”.
Genocide is a specific crime defined by international law. The 1948 UN Convention stipulates what genocide is and states that only a competent international tribunal can determine whether a particular event is genocide.
Conventional wisdom suggests that broadcasting of a documentary film comprising one-sided views of “the 1915 events” will fail to serve the principle of objectivity of broadcasting.
I hope you will review the subject once more and reconsider your decision on broadcasting of the above-mentioned documentary film with a balanced and sensible attitude.
Yours sincerely,
Arif Gülen

Hmmm........It's becoming very clear that Herr Erdogan behaves like a dictator, appeasement does not work with Islamist dictators.
"Ebru Umar, the Dutch columnist of Turkish descent, has been arrested
by Turkish police in her house in Kusadasi. She said that herself on
Twitter, and later confirmed that to The Post Online by phone.
"It is now clear to me that I have been arrested because of several
tweets about president Erdogan", she said to the site. The department of
foreign affairs says it knows about the case. The embassy in Ankara has
been notified and is working on it.
Umar wrote a critical piece last week in Metro about the call of the
Turkish consulate to notify them about Dutch insults to president
Erdogan.
She remarked: 'Against any Turkish Dutchman who supports the call by the consulate and wants to play NSBer
by telling the Dutch in the Netherlands what to say about Erdogan - the
most megalomaniacal dictator the Turkish republic has known since its
establishment in 1923 - I'd like to say the following: go fuck

Turkey has approached the Dutch Ambassador in Ankara on statements about the Turkish President Erdogan on social media in the Netherlands. This happened yesterday during the conversation in which the Netherlands objected to the call of the Turkish consulate to report insulting remarks about the Turkish president.
The Turkish authorities pointed to cartoons about President Erdogan on Dutch Facebook page and on Twitter, that would be offensive.Ambassador Van Rij replied that statements on social media in the Netherlands are covered by freedom of expression. Kurdish Opposition Leader Demirtas: 'Erdogan Wants a Caliphate'. (Spiegel).
Kurdish opposition leader Selahattin Demirtas, 43, says that his

Erdogan isn't willing to listen.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is hoping that Turkish President
Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be able to solve Europe's refugee crisis. Is
he able to?
Demirtas:
I wish he could. But I fear he is creating much larger problems. If
the Turkish government continues its war against the Kurds, then
millions of Turkish citizens could seek asylum in Europe.
SPIEGEL:
Would Angela Merkel have been better off not negotiating with Erdogan?
Demirtas:
No, but she has to be careful not to disregard European principles.
She can't remain silent when a country seeking to join the EU bombs its
own towns and cities.

The government says it is exclusively pursuing terrorists.
Demirtas:
The war is primarily focused on civilians that Erdogan suspects of
supporting the PKK. Almost 400,000 people have had to leave their homes.

Even HDP supporters are critical and say you should have distanced yourselves from PKK violence earlier and more decisively.
Demirtas:
I did. Erdogan and his henchmen in the media didn't want to hear

SPIEGEL:
Not long ago, Erdogan was working towards a peaceful resolution to
the Kurdish conflict. Why do you think he has changed course?

He's striving for absolute power in Turkey. Erdogan wants a

What role will the Kurds have in the new reorganization of the Middle East?

Qaradawi added that:

Speaking on March 6 at a “caliphate conference” in Ankara, Turkey, Ismail Al-Wahwah, spokesman for the Australian chapter of Hizb ut-Tahrir, called upon attendants to lead “the armies of Jihad that will conquer Europe and America.”
Wahwah warned the Turkish crowd not to trust America, Europe, and NATO, who are all enemies and whose “hearts are black.” The speech was posted on the Internet by Hizb ut-Tahrir, as well as by the Köklü Değişim magazine, which organized the conference.

Ismail Al-wahwah:
Ninety years ago, a hundred meters from here, in the Turkish parliament, some traitors from among the sons of the Islamic nation, some descendants of Freemasons and Jews, killed our mother, abolished our Caliphate, and lowered the banner of Islam.
Today, 90 years later, you are here, near the parliament, pledging before Allah to restore the Caliphate, to raise the banner, to restore the shari'a, to unite the Islamic nation, and to lead the armies of Jihad that will conquer Europe and America, so that the word of Allah will reign supreme.

Oh people of Turkey, your country is in great danger. Your country, your land, your religion, and the honor of your woman are in great danger.
Look at your neighbors, Syria and Iraq. If matters stay in the hands of America and Europe, may Allah save us. The same thing that happened in Syria and Iraq could happen here, God forbid. Do not trust the oppressors. Do not trust America, Europe, or NATO. They are all enemies.
Their hearts are black. They hate you, your religion, your Muhammad, and your Quran. They are waiting for the opportunity to fragment your countries.
Start dealing with them, before they start dealing with you. Cut off their hands before they sow corruption upon the land. You in Turkey are able to do that, Allah willing.

Russia calls to investigate reports of Kurds’ human rights violations by Turkey — FM. (Tass).
Moscow
urges to investigate reports of violations of Kurds’ rights by Turkey, the ongoing missile and artillery attacks of Syrian territory in the areas traditionally inhabited by Kurds, and calls for tough international
response, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday.
"It is necessary to investigate any reports, all the more so
documented, of gross and massive violations of human rights and
international humanitarian law," he said. "There are appropriate
international procedures for that. The main thing is to ensure that they
are used impartially and objectively. This is our principled stance."
"As for the interim results of your appeals [of Russia's RT TV
channel regarding Turkey’s actions in the Kurdish areas of the country -
TASS] to international human rights groups from where noncommittal
replies came, we ask you to forward us a copy of your queries and
replies to them so that we could form our judgement," the minister said.
"No less serious are cases when the same happens with violating other countries’ sovereignty and territorial integrity," Russia’s top diplomat went on to say. "Unfortunately, Turkey is too mentioned in this context. We know what happens with the Turkish armed forces’ actions in Iraq, what happens with the fire attacks of the Kurdish militia positions in Syria from Turkish territory."
According to Lavrov, all this requires tough and clear response from the international community, "because Turkey’s actions undermine the efforts that are being made (around the Syrian settlement - TASS), including with the approval of the UN Security Council, on the issues of the ceasefire, on delivering humanitarian cargo, on the beginning of the political process."

Erdogan says Turkey should redefine terrorism, international community will be with us or against us. (TurkishMinute).
“There is no difference between a terrorist with a gun and bomb in
his hand and those who uses their title and pen at a point that supports
terror. The fact that an individual is a deputy, an academician, an
author, a journalist or the director of an NGO does not change the fact
that that person is a terrorist,” Erdoğan said while addressing a group
of doctors at the presidential palace on Monday on the occasion of
Doctor’s Day.
“The person who pulls the trigger may be a terrorist, but these are
the people who ensure that the terrorist achieves his goals. We cannot
tolerate those giving support to a terrorist organization going into a
courthouse through one door and coming out right out of another” he
said.
Erdoğan who cancelled his upcoming trip to Baku, the capital of
Turkey’s neighbor Azerbaijan, continued by stating that Turkey needs to
change the definition of terror and terrorism in Turkish criminal law.
“We should redefine terrorism [in this regard] as soon as possible
and include in the Turkish Penal Code (TMK). This is not an issue of
freedom of press or freedom of organization. It is about a more
effective way of dealing with the vile assailants who try to harm our
people,” Erdoğan said.
“Certain sections in our society and in the international arena are
at a junction. They will either be on our side, or the terrorists’ side.
There is no middle ground here,” the president added.
“Those who think they have made us pay, whether foreign or domestic,
will themselves pay the real price” he stated. “No one will get in
Turkey’s way. I believe we will overcome terrorism. Our nation will not
forget about those who want to make political capital out of a painful
incident.”Hmmm......Says the guy who embraces recognized terrorist group Hamas. Read the full story here.
Turkey’s bid for EU membership makes the case for Brexit – Farage. (RT).
UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader Nigel Farage says Britain’s
upcoming referendum on EU membership is a vote on whether the UK wants
to enter political union with Turkey, a state he described as
“increasingly Islamist and authoritarian.”
Farage made the remarks in
a speech to fellow MEPs in Brussels, during which he also accused
Turkey of blackmailing the EU into accepting its proposals to address
the ongoing migrant crisis.
The comments come after the EU agreed
to speed up Turkey’s accession process to the EU and pay Ankara €3
billion (US$3.3 billion) in aid in return for the country accepting tens
of thousands of extra refugees.
Farage told MEPs on Wednesday that if Turkey joined the EU it would make Britain more vulnerable to terrorism.
“The
historic error made by Chancellor Merkel last year by saying all can
come has led directly to this mess and now we are being blackmailed by
Turkey. I wish that David Cameron was as good at negotiations as the
Turks are,” he said.
“So we are going to go into
political union with a country that has got borders with Iraq, Iran and
Syria, a country that is poorer than anybody else in the European Union
and give free movement to 75 million people. And join up with a
government that is increasingly Islamist and authoritarian.
“Well
this referendum in Britain is all about what is the safest option. It
is pretty clear to me that a vote to remain is a vote for Turkey, a vote
to remain is a vote for massively increased immigration into Britain
and a vote to remain is a vote that makes Britain more vulnerable to
terrorism. It is safer to vote to leave and take back control of our
borders,” he added.Hmmm....... Erdogan Made the EUnuchs an Offer They Couldn't Refuse. Read the full story here.
'Rebels' use refugee camps in 'Sometimes NATO Ally' Turkey to attack northern Latakia. (Almasdar).
On Wednesday, footage
of Turkmen fighters operating a T-55 Tank inside an unknown refugee camp
on the Turkish-Syrian border was posted by opposition activists,
revealing the extensive use of humanitarian sites by rebel forces near
the Latakia Governorate.
However, the use of refugee camps by the opposition forces is not a new development, according to Aldin Abazovic (Twitter @Ald_Aba).
One of Al-Masdar’s journalists Ian Grant was able to geo-locate a number of IDP refugee camps in northern Latakia:
The Al-Yamadi Camp was bombed by the Russian Air Force last month; it sparked outrage from the Syrian Opposition activists until it was revealed that Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group) was operating inside of it.
What this information illuminates is the reason behind the Turkish regime’s intentions to implement a no-fly-zone inside Syria. As long as the Russian and Syrian air forces bombard these border camps, the greater the rebel dependence on Turkey for protection. Read and see the full story here.
Turkey's 'leadership' brings new offer to EU Meeting 'That they can't refuse' . (FT).
Ahead of crunch summit between EU leaders and the Turkish prime minister
on Monday, Ankara has called for an increase on the €3bn in aid
previously promised by the EU, faster access to Schengen visas for
Turkish citizens and accelerated progress in its EU membership bid, write Alex Barker and Duncan Robinson in Brussels.
Turkish prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that the proposed deal
demonstrated “how indispensable the EU is for Turkey and Turkey for the
EU”. Speaking before the meeting, Mr Davutoğlu added: “The whole future
of Europe is on the table.”
Turkey is now expected to call for increase on the €3bn in aid which
was agreed by the EU. Even that sum is a sticking point, the money was
promised but has not yet been delivered, and new aid projects will be
part of the discussion.
Turkey will push for further progress on Turkey’s EU bid, mentioned by Turkish prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu as he arrived, mentioning to reporters “how indispensable the EU is for Turkey and Turkey for the EU”.
EU leaders are likely to say the country has many conditions it must meet for its EU bid to progress. German
finance minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said on Sunday that Berlin had
major doubts about whether Turkey should become a member of the EU.
Davutoglu is also expected to raise the access to Schengen visas for Turkish citizens.
Those demands are in return for allowing the return of non-Syrian migrants to Turkey, if they attempt to cross to Europe.
But the new Turkish demands are causing headaches for diplomats, with one comparing the haggling to a “Turkish bazaar”according to the FT.
Hmmm......Of course the Caliph will try to blackmail them, are they really this stupid? Read the full story here.
EU-Summit Draft: Balkan Route will be closed, “resettlement” of Syrian refugees from Turkey to EU countries. HT: KeepTalkingGreece.
The
European Commission has allegedly prepared a Draft proposal that the EU
leaders will be called to sign tomorrow Monday in Brussels. “The
European Union leaders plan to officially announce the Closure of the
Balkan Route for refugees and the internal borders of Schengen for
economic migrants.” According to an exclusive story published by
Austrian newspaper Der Standard, that has reportedly
obtained a copy of the Conclusions Draft prepared by the European
Commission, “the immediate end of the migrants’ flow and the waving
from Greece to Germany is top priority of the EU policy.” And this will
be decided and announced at the extraordinary EU-Turkey Summit on
Refugee Crisis in Brussels tomorrow Monday.
Major points form the draft:
“The irregular migrant’s flow along the Balkan Route comes to an end. this Route is now closed.
Greece must immediately create 50,000 places for potential asylum-seekers, it gets “any help” from EU.
Migrants with no chance for asylum should be immediately deported to Turkey. An EU-Turkey agreement to this effect will go into effect as of 1. June 2016.
Turkey will play a constructive rolein the external borders control.
The EU member states will be committed to begin with the “resettlement” of Syrian refugees from Turkey to EU countries.
The Frontex will be strengthen with more staff at
the Greek border to FYROM and Albania The Frontex should take care that
the Hot Spots in Greece are in full operation.
the Europol should help in the fight against smugglers.
The Draft mentions also a roadmap that includes:
states to send Frontex staff (1. April), starting of Relocation (16.
March Summit), restore of Schengen cancellation (end of 2016).
The draft also confirms the 700 million euro assistance, although in
the September 22nd 2015 decision, the amount was 780 million euro. Together with all previously agreed measures so could be invested in aid to refugees in the coming months be about one billion euros from the EU.
The EU leaders will “do the maximum to assist Greece in this difficult moment.” It is about “a collective responsibility of the community, which requires fast and efficient mobilization of all available resources”, but “also the contributions of the Member States.”Hmmm......Anyone noticed how scared they are to put a number up on how many refugees they (EU & Turkey) agreed upon to take? Egypt says Hamas, Turkish Muslim Brotherhood involved in assassination of top prosecutor.(AlAhram).
The Egyptian interior minister said on Sunday that leaders of the
Muslim Brotherhood in Turkey and the group's Palestinian offshoot Hamas
were behind the assassination of top prosecutor Hisham Barakat on 29
June, 2015.
Barakat died from injuries sustained in a Cairo bomb attack;
the only successful assassination attempt against a state official
since an upswing in militant violence following the 2013 ouster of
Islamist president Mohamed Morsi.
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel-Ghafar said that Turkish-based leaders
of the Brotherhood, from which Morsi hails, masterminded the
assassination, while Hamas "provided training for militants to execute
it and also took part in planning it."
"We intercepted electronic communications in a way that had never been
done in the history of the Egyptian security apparatus," Abdel-Ghafar
told a news conference.
"There is a major conspiracy targeting the Egyptian state… It began a
long while ago and included a number of militant attacks, including the
assassination of prosecutor-general Hisham Barakat."
Abdel-Ghafar said that Hamas was not involved in the operation within
Egypt, but planned and provided training for militants in Gaza.
Though Islamic State group affiliate Ansar Beit Al-Maqdis claimed
responsibility for a large number of militant attacks in Egypt over the
past two years, no one has claimed responsibility for Barakat's
assassination.
Abdel-Ghafar added that police had identified a number of apartments
across the country where militants were manufacturing explosives.
"All of those arrested were referred to the prosecution... they all admitted to being Brotherhood members," Abdel-Ghafar said.
During the conference, a video was played showing testimonies of a
group of people admitting to being involved in terror activities.
They said that the assassination was initially planned for 28 June but
was called off after the militants’ “tracking unit” informed the others
that Barakat's convoy was not taking its usual path.
The suspects said that former health ministry spokesperson and
now-fugitive Yehia Moussa told them to “prepare themselves” for the
planned assassination of Barakat.
Some of the men said they had received training from Hamas in Gaza, including in “tracking” and “planned operations.”
Turkey Finally becomes a fully-fledged 'Islamist' dictatorship. (SP).
With the violent
police seizure of Turkey’s biggest independent newspaper this weekend,
the country has finally crossed the line to become a fully-fledged
dictatorship.
For
many months now, the government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has
been cracking down on media as part of a wider move towards an
increasingly authoritarian regime under his ruling Justice and
Development Party.
Brutal, chaotic scenes
at the offices of Zaman newspaper in Istanbul and its related
publications this weekend prove beyond doubt that Erdogan's regime has
now openly embraced dictatorship. This in a country which has a long
history of military coups and genocidal authoritarianism.
The media group which owns Zaman,
Feza Media, has been accused of "consorting with terrorists" connected
to Kurdish separatists. A Turkish court then ordered at the end of last
week that the newspaper be taken into administration under editors
appointed by the government.
The charges are flagrantly trumped-up, of course. Zaman and its
English-language daily, Today's Zaman, are "guilty" of nothing other
than providing critical reports and analysis of Erdogan's government,
especially over its reprehensible role in Syria's conflict since 2011.
"Consorting with terrorists" is the blanket
charge that Erdogan is throwing at other independent Turkish media.
Dozens of journalists have been arrested on similar charges. While other
media outlets have been likewise closed down by Erdogan's ruling party.
Can Dundar, the editor of Cumhuriyet newspaper, is facing prosecution
on "espionage" and "subversion" charges — and a possible life sentence
in jail — simply because he published photographs last year that
purported to show how Turkish state intelligence (MIT) was running
weapons across the Syrian border — to supply illegally armed groups
trying to overthrow the Damascus government.
Under Turkey's state constitution, freedom of media is supposed to be
guaranteed from government interference. Clearly, Turkey can no longer
pretend to be a democratic state. The constitution has been sacked
in the most graphic way. It is now a dictatorship where those who
criticize the "ruler" are liable to receive prison sentences because
they are either "terrorist supporters" or "insulting" his ego.
The increasingly despotic nature of Turkey under Erdogan is
intimately bound up with his regime's criminal aggression towards Syria.
Over the past five years, Erdogan has moved from covert sponsorship
of terror proxies in Syria to a blatant role in waging aggression.
Erdogan is getting away with this brutal conduct largely because he
is being indulged by Washington, the European Union and the US-led NATO
military alliance, of which Turkey is a member.
These Western institutions are all equally complicit in Turkey's
state-sponsored terrorism against Syria. So, as the Erdogan regime gags
the Turkish media, his Western allies are obliged to keep their mouths
shut too. Hmmm......Erdogan Obama's BFF. Read the full story here.
'Angry man of Europe' Turkey demands weapons from Israel as part of normalization effort. Report. (JPost).
Israel in turn has demanded to know
whether the weapons were intended to attack Kurdish rebels positioned on
the Turkish-Syrian border, Kuwaiti paper reports.
A representative appointed by Turkey's Defense Ministry has been sent to
Israel in order to procure Israeli made weapons and aircraft equipment
as a condition for the return to normalized relations between the two
countries, Arab media reported Wednesday.
Israel has yet to responded to the Turkish request, waiting to see if
Ankara was still committed to honoring previous agreements to buy gas
from the Jewish state. In turn, Turkey has yet to respond to Israeli
inquiries concerning the use of UAV's against the Kurds.
In response to reports
that Turkey and Israel were close to reaching an agreement in returning
to normalized relations, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said earlier
this week that it was difficult to proceed in negotiations between the
nations if Turkey continues to support the terrorist organizations Hamas
and the Muslim Brotherhood.
"I am not sure if we can arrive to
an agreement" if they continue funding these extremist organizations,
Ya'alon said. "They must comply with the terms of our agreement so that
we can overcome these obstacles," he added. Hmmm.....The Israeli leadership must be suffering of collective insanity to trust the Turkish madman. Read the full story here.
Canadian Imam likens Trudeau to a Christian king who helped Muslims and then converted to Islam. (The Rebel).
Canadian Sheikh Shaban Sherif Mady (شعبان شريف ماضي), was a scholar
at al-Azhar theological school in Egypt and served at the Ministry of
Endowment and Ministry of Education of the Egyptian government.
Today,
he is the Imam of a Muslim congregation in Edmonton, Alberta which

Shaban
Sherif Mady dedicated his Friday sermon on December 18, 2015 to Canada’s

Trudeau was likened to “the Najashi”, the Christian King of
Abyssinia in the 7th century AD, who is honoured in the Islamic history
