Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill called the Russian operation in Syria "holy war".

Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill called the Russian operation in Syria "holy war". (NovajaGazeta). [GoogleTranslated].

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill called the fight against members of the terrorist groups in Syria "holy war." He said after the liturgy in the St. George temple on the Poklonnaya Hill, reported Interfax.

The Russian operation in the Middle East, the Patriarch said, the fight against terrorism, not "aggression, not occupation, not to impose their ideologies, not for the support of certain governments."

"That is why today the war against terrorism - a holy war, and God forbid, to have understood all around the world, so that no one shared the terrorists into good and bad, no one connected with the war against terrorism to achieve their own, are often not declared, but really much present in the political thought purposes. Then the war with the enemy, and such funds will be honest too sacred ", - the Patriarch said.

He added that the Great Patriotic War was too sacred, and Russian military "can safely be called Christ-loving army".

Russia participated in the military operations in Syria from 30 September 2015. March 14 Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Defense Ministry to begin withdrawing the main part of the Russian military group from Syria, since the tasks set before the Office as a whole performed.

Since the end of February in Syria, on the proposal of Russia and the USA the ceasefire. It does not apply to recognized terrorist and banned in the Russian company ( "Islamic State" and "Dzhabhat An-Nusra").

Islamist Turkey deploying troops to Qatar, the 'Muslim brotherhood' threat to U.S. Troops stationed in Qatar?

Islamist Turkey deploying troops to Qatar, the 'Muslim brotherhood' threat to U.S. Troops stationed in Qatar? (AlAraby).

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has signed a military deal with Qatar that includes the deployment of Turkish troops to a new Turkish military base in the Gulf nation to help "counter threats to both countries".

Davutoglu concluded the deal on Thursday while on a two-day visit to Qatar to meet with his Qatari counterpart Khalid bin Mohammad al-Attiyah and the Qatari Interior Minister Abdallah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani.

The two long-time allies have both provided support for the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and Syrian rebel groups fighting the Bashar al-Assad regime.

"There has been exceptionally high-level strategic cooperation in the defence and military fields between Turkey and Qatar," Davutoglu said.

He said that his country's first overseas military base in the Middle East "was not directed at against any nation" but that it was a "presence for stability".
"I can tell you now that the security and stability of Qatar is like the security and stability of Turkey. We want a stable and secure Gulf. Turkey and Qatar, we have the same destiny. We face the same threats," he added.
The number of soldiers to be deployed was not specified.

The Turkish base was first announced last December when the two countries signed a defence agreement aimed at helping confront "common enemies".

At the time, Turkish envoy Ahmet Demirok said that 3,000 ground troops would be stationed at the base as well as air and naval units, military trainers and special operations forces.

The number of Turkish troops currently deployed to Qatar is unclear, Demirok said in December that there were 100 servicemen training with Qatar's military.

Ankara's defence minister said last month that the military base will be ready within two years and that that Qatari military personnel and aircraft currently stationed in Turkey as a part of the reciprocal.

An agreement signed in 2014 and ratified by Turkey's parliament last June intensified the partnership with Qatar at a time of rising instability and a perceived waning of US interest in the region.

Qatar is already home to the biggest air base in the Middle East, Al Udeid, where some 10,000 military personnel are stationed, and is the forward headquarters of United States Central Command. Hmmm.....My guess in the not so far future Qatar will politely thank the U.S. for it's past presence and ask them to leave now that 'Big Islamist Brother' Turkey is there to protect them -----> PS:

Russia asks UN to put Ahrar ash-Sham, Jaysh al-Islam on sanction list — Russian UN envoy Vitaly Churkin

Russia asks UN to put Ahrar ash-Sham, Jaysh al-Islam on sanction list — Russian UN envoy Vitaly Churkin. (Tass).

The reason for this step, in his words, was numerous reports that these groups active in Syria have close links with such terrorist organizations as Islamic State and Al Qaeda.

Russia has filed a request with the Counter-Terrorism Committee of the United Nations Security Council to put Ahrar ash-Sham and Jaysh al-Islam, which are reported to regularly violate the ceasefire regime in Syria, on the sanction list of terrorist groups, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin said on Tuesday.
"On April 26, the Russian delegation lodged with the Counter-Terrorism Committee of the United Nations Security Council (1267/1989/2253) on sanctions against Islamic State and Al Qaeda a request on putting two organizations - Ahrar ash-Sham and Jaysh al-Islam - on the sanction list of this auxiliary body of the United Nations," Churkin said in a statement.
The reason for this step, in his words, was numerous reports that these groups active in Syria have close links with such terrorist organizations as Islamic State and Al Qaeda, offer them and receive from them financial, logistics and military support.

When put on the list of terrorist organization along with Islamic State and Al Qaeda, these groups will stop to be covered by the ceasefire regime in Syria and it will be possible to deliver strikes against them.

According to the Russian diplomat, Russia began preparatory work to promote its request to the committee several months ago but decided to take a pause when another round of intra-Syrian talks started in Geneva. But now that these groups are reported to regularly violate the ceasefire regime in Syria, the Russian side has taken a decision to resume its request. Hmmm......And put their state sponsors on the list as well!!!

Islamist 'dictatorship' Turkey probably will abandon secularism with new religious constitution.

Source Quote here.

Islamist 'dictatorship' Turkey probably will abandon secularism with new religious constitution. (AlAraby).

Turkey should have a new constitution based on religious principles, parliament speaker Ismail Kahraman said Monday.

"As a Muslim country, why should we be in a situation where we are in retreat from religion?" state-run news agency Anatolia quoted him as saying.

"We are a Muslim country. As a consequence, we must have a religious constitution," the ruling Justice and Development Party [AKP] lawmaker told a conference in Istanbul.

"Secularism cannot feature in the new constitution."

Critics accuse President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's Islamic-rooted AKP of eroding the secular values laid by modern Turkey's founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk since it took power in 2002.

Over the past two years, the government has lifted bans on women and girls wearing headscarves in schools and civil service.

It also limited alcohol sales and made efforts to ban mixed-sex dorms at state universities.

Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the head of Turkey's opposition secular Republican People's Party [CHP], slammed the speaker's comments.

"The chaos that reigns in the Middle East is the product of ways of thinking that, like you, make religion an instrument of politics," Kilicdaroglu wrote on Twitter.

"Secularism exists so everyone can practice their religion freely, Mr Kahraman!"

Since the AKP's re-election in November, the government has said it wants to prioritise replacing Turkey's constitution, inherited from a military junta after a coup in 1980.

Several rounds of negotiations have failed - most recently in February - with the opposition rejecting the increasingly powerful role of the presidency under Erdogan.

Kahraman backed a "presidential system" for Turkey, and rejected claims that this would push the country towards authoritarianism.

"Some people say that (a strengthened presidency) means dictatorship," he said. "Where is this link? Is (US President Barack) Obama a dictator?"

Erdogan's BFF The Obama 'admin' sending a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) to Turkish - Syrian border.

Erdogan's BFF The Obama 'admin' sending a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) to destroy the Kurds Turkey. (DS).

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu confirmed media reports that the United States will be sending a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) – a U.S. light multiple rocket launcher mounted on a standard Army Medium Tactical Vehicle (MTV) – to Turkey's border that has been hit by DAESH rocket strikes recently.

Speaking to reporters in Abu Dhabi on Monday, Çavuoğlu said that the HIMARS will be deployed in May and that NATO allies hope to assist 'moderate' terrorists Syrian opposition groups on the ground with this artillery system.

Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu: Our priority is to mop up the 98 kilometer Manbij area and eradicate DAESH. After accomplishing this, the safe zone will come into being on its own, eventually. Most recently, [U.S. president Barack] Obama said that he is not against the idea of a safe zone and Germany is on the same page with us about this issue as well.

To eradicate DAESH from this area, the opposition must be empowered. In fact, if the armed conflict in Syria stops, it could be possible to assign more forces to fight against DAESH. We have to support the moderate opposition. Our cannons have a range of 40 kilometers while American HIMARS rockets have a range of 90 kilometers. We have come to an agreement with the U.S. regarding the closing down of the Manbij area.

The Americans have learned the truth about the PYD and they are aware that the PYD is unreliable. However, they were always in search of alternatives in the fight against DAESH on the ground as they cannot send any troops to the region. We are warning of how dangerous it is to collaborate with the PKK, the PYD and the YPG [People's Protection Units]. For instance, the PYD opened an office in Moscow as they ideologically feel close to the Russians. Now, the Americans are working on creating a power against DAESH among different groups such as Turkmens, Arabs and other communities.

Fundamentally, the U.S. has not entirely changed their politics regarding the PYD but they told us that they understand our concern about the YPG. [U.S. Secretary of State] John Kerry, himself told me that YPG is unreliable.

We will see the change in their approach through their actions. We do not want the U.S. to team up with the PYD and YPG from now on because we proved to them that the PKK is no different from these groups with documents. Hmmm.....As i said at the time of Erdogan's last meeting with Obama: 'Obama just threw the Kurds under the Bus'. Read the full story here.

Muslim brotherhood 'Godfather' Qaradawi yesterday in Istanbul: "Erdoğan is the leader of Islamic world".

Muslim brotherhood 'Godfather' Qaradawi yesterday in Istanbul: "Erdoğan is the leader of Islamic world". HT : Washingtonpoint

Muslim Brotherhood's 'spiritual leader' a.k.a. 'Godfather' Qaradawi was yesterday in Istanbul to take part in the 'Thanks Turkey' festival.
Festival where he proudly again declared 'Erdogan as leader of the Islamic world'.

In an interview in 2014 with TV Turkia Qaradawi declared that:
We came to Turkey to assess the Fourth Assembly of the Union of Muslim Scholars in Istanbul, capital of the Islamic Caliphate!
Qaradawi added that:
Turkey is the Caliphate State, and Istanbul is its capital … Turkey unites religion and the world, Arab (Wahhabist Sunnis) and Persian (Shiites), Asia and Africa, and it (the Caliphate) should be based upon this nation (Turkey)”.

Among others Hamas terrorist group leader Khaled Mashaal was among the guests of honor, seems terrorists have no problem traveling in 'sometimes U.S. and NATO ally' Turkey.

Video - Saudi TV Host to Apologists: 'Terrorism Emerges from Our Schools and Universities'

Video - Saudi TV Host to Apologists: 'Terrorism Emerges from Our Schools and Universities' (MEMRI)

Saudi TV Host Nadine Al-Budair Takes to Task Apologists Who Claim Terrorists Have Nothing to Do with Islam and the Muslims: They Emerged from Our Schools and Universities

Saudi journalist and TV host Nadine Al-Budair recently criticized the "hypocrites" who say that the terrorists "do not represent Islam or the Muslims." After the abominable Brussels bombings, it's time for us to feel shame and to stop acting as if the terrorists are a rarity," she said, in an address that aired on the Saudi Rotana Khalijiyah TV on April 3. "Why do we shed our own conscience?" she asked. "Don't these perpetrators emerge from our environment?"

Following are excerpts

Nadine Al-Budair: Whenever terrorism massacres peaceful civilians, the smart alecks and the hypocrites vie with one another in saying that these people do not represent Islam or the Muslims. Perhaps one of them could tell us who does represent Islam and the Muslims.

We witness people competing in an attempt to be the first to prove that everything that is happening has nothing to do with the Muslims, and that the terrorists are highway robbers and homeless alcoholics and drug addicts. We all know that the number of the homeless in Europe is very high. They sleep in the streets and beg for alms, and some of them are alcoholics or drug addicts, but we do not expect these addicts or criminals to even consider coming here and blowing up a mosque or a street in our city. It is we who blow ourselves up. It is we who blow up others.

Why do we shed our own conscience? Why do the sheikhs, the pundits, the journalists, and all the Arab officials insist upon [not] using their conscience when they point to the perpetrators? Don't these perpetrators emerge from our environment? Don't their families belong to our society? Didn't anyone you know - someone from your city, a neighbor, someone from your street, a relative, a nephew, a grandson, a father, or a mother - go to Syria or Iraq to wage Jihad?

After the abominable Brussels bombings, it's time for us to feel shame and to stop acting as if the terrorists are a rarity. We must admit that they are present everywhere, that their nationality is Arab, and that they adhere to the religion of Islam. We must acknowledge that we are the ones who gave birth to them, and who have made them memorize the teachings of all the Salafi books. We must admit that it is the schools and universities that we established that told them the others are infidels.

We must admit that we all - our different sects and faiths, the Sunnis and the Shia - adhere to one school and one school only: the "freezing of the mind" school. Don't ask! Don't think! Don't resist orders! Welcome to the Arab Mashriq.

We should acknowledge that it is our religious upbringing that has driven these youth away from the Quran, and has drawn them closer to its interpreters, to the point that a Muslim now has 1,000 holy books, from which he draws fatwas and information, whereas the Quran has been made intellectually inaccessible.

What makes us laugh and cry at the same time is that the people who spilled the blood walk at the dead man's funeral and cry. The people who encouraged the terrorists, invented fatwas for them, and called to support their false rights in Syria, in Afghanistan, in Pakistan, in the Philippines, in Morocco, in America, in Egypt, in Saudi Arabia, in Lebanon, in Africa - and the list is endless, with the last incident taking place in Europe...

Now the old supporters (of terrorism) have the audacity to declare that they denounce bombings everywhere, and that the killing of civilians constitutes an attack on the religion. Where are the sheikhs of yesterday? Why don't they have the courage to declare that they are the ones who said that Jihad is obligatory, and who legalized political wars, using futile and disgraceful exeges, which permit killing, enslavement, and destruction?

Jordan's king accuses 'sometimes NATO Ally' Turkey of sending terrorists to Europe.

Jordan's king accuses 'sometimes NATO Ally' Turkey of sending terrorists to Europe. (MEE).

Abdullah tells US politicians that radicals are being 'manufactured in Turkey... as part of Turkish policy'

King Abdullah of Jordan accused Turkey of exporting terrorists to Europe at a top level meeting with senior US politicians in January, the MEE can reveal.

The king said Europe’s biggest refugee crisis was not an accident, and neither was the presence of terrorists among them: “The fact that terrorists are going to Europe is part of Turkish policy and Turkey keeps on getting a slap on the hand, but they are let off the hook.”

Asked by one of the congressmen present whether the Islamic State group was exporting oil to Turkey, Abdullah replied: ”Absolutely.”

Abdullah made his remarks during a wide-ranging debriefing to Congress on 11 January, the day a meeting with the US president, Barack Obama, was cancelled.

The White House was forced to deny that Obama snubbed one of America’s closest allies in the Middle East, attributing the cancellation to "scheduling conflicts", although Obama and Abdullah met briefly at St Andrews Airforce base a day later.

According to a detailed account of the meeting seen by MEE, the king went on to explain what he thought was the motivation of Turkey's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Abdullah said that Erdogan believed in a “radical Islamic solution to the region".

He repeated: "Turkey sought a religious solution to Syria, while we are looking at moderate elements in the south and Jordan pushed for a third option that would not allow a religious option.”

The king presented Turkey as part of a strategic challenge to the world.

"We keep being forced to tackle tactical problems against ISIL but not the strategic issue. We forget the issue [of] the Turks who are not with us on this strategically."

He claimed that Turkey had not only supported religious groups in Syria, and letting foreign fighters in, but had also been helping Islamist militias in Libya and Somalia.

Abdullah claimed that "radicalisation was being manufactured in Turkey" and asked the US senators why the Turks were training the Somali army.

The king invited the US politicians present to ask the presidents of Kosovo and Albania about the Turks.

Abdullah said that both countries were begging Europe to include them, before Erdogan did. Hmmm......Seems like Abdullah understood he's the next target for the Caliph of the Muslim brotherhood. Read the full story here. -

In a recent TV interview, Turkey-Based Egyptian Islamist Sheikh Wagdi Ghoneim said: "We coexist with non-Muslims in our countries, on condition that we have the upper hand."

Ghoneim, who is living in exile in Turkey, further said that "if the infidels fight us, we shall kill them... and if an infidel's wife comes with him and joins the fighting, we shall take her as a slave girl."

In the case of "brothers in Islam who have oppressed us... we cannot take their wives as slaves, because they are our sisters in Islam," he said. Ghoneim was speaking on the Libyan Al-Nabaa TV channel on February 26.

'Angry man of Europe' Turkey demands weapons from Israel as part of normalization effort. Report.

'Angry man of Europe' Turkey demands weapons from Israel as part of normalization effort. Report. (JPost).
Israel in turn has demanded to know whether the weapons were intended to attack Kurdish rebels positioned on the Turkish-Syrian border, Kuwaiti paper reports.
A representative appointed by Turkey's Defense Ministry has been sent to Israel in order to procure Israeli made weapons and aircraft equipment as a condition for the return to normalized relations between the two countries, Arab media reported Wednesday.

Israel has yet to responded to the Turkish request, waiting to see if Ankara was still committed to honoring previous agreements to buy gas from the Jewish state. In turn, Turkey has yet to respond to Israeli inquiries concerning the use of UAV's against the Kurds.

In response to reports that Turkey and Israel were close to reaching an agreement in returning to normalized relations, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said earlier this week that it was difficult to proceed in negotiations between the nations if Turkey continues to support the terrorist organizations Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

"I am not sure if we can arrive to an agreement" if they continue funding these extremist organizations, Ya'alon said. "They must comply with the terms of our agreement so that we can overcome these obstacles," he added. Hmmm.....The Israeli leadership must be suffering of collective  insanity to trust the Turkish madman. Read the full story here.

Mogherini: European Union Against Formation of Kurdish State in Middle East.

Mogherini: European Union Against Formation of Kurdish State in Middle East. (Fars).

EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini said the bloc opposes the formation of a separate Kurdish state in the Middle East.

"The European Union does not support any separatist agenda for the Kurds - being it in Turkey, being it in Iraq, being it in Syria," Mogherini said at the European Parliament in Brussels on Tuesday, Sabah Daily reported.

Mogherini reiterated the EU's condemnation of violence by the PKK following an attack in Ankara that killed 29 people last week.

"The European Union condemns in any possible way any terrorist act and considers the PKK as a terrorist organization," Mogherini said.

"We also believe, as united as we are in condemning terrorist acts, that the way to solve the Kurdish issue inside Turkey is through a peace process that the same Turkish government started a few years ago before dropping it," she said.

What is commonly known in Turkey as the "reconciliation process" aimed to end the 30-year conflict between Turkey and the PKK, considered a terrorist organization by Turkey, the EU and the US. It began in 2013 but stalled after renewed violence broke out last year.

"We continue to think this is the way and we say this to the Turkish authorities and to the Kurds equally," Mogherini said.

Mogherini said the crisis will not be solved unless the rights of Kurds are respected.

"We need to make sure that rights are respected by the Kurds and to the Kurds. Most of all, it cannot be possible to make as if this was not an issue in the region - it is," she said.  Hmmm.....The fear of Erdogan opening the gates for the refugee flood to Europe renders EU politicians in to puppets of Erdogan.

Russia-NATO relations have fallen to new Cold War level – Russian PM.

Russia-NATO relations have fallen to new Cold War level – Russian PM. (RT).

The relationships between NATO and Russia have slid down toward a new Cold War, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a panel discussion during the Munich Security Conference, describing NATO's policy as "unfriendly and not transparent."
"Almost every day we are referred to as the most terrible threat to NATO as a whole or to Europe, America and other countries specifically," Medvedev said. "Although actual threats that exist in our small world - and I hope, you understand that - are absolutely different."
Terrorists are gaining influence and benefiting from Russian-Western discord, Medvedev told the gathering. "Terrorism is a challenge to the whole of civilization: we must not divide terrorists into friends, enemies, extremists or 'moderates,’" he said.

"I think Daesh [Arabic acronym for IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL] has to be grateful to my colleagues, some Western leaders who disabled such cooperation [between intelligence services]," Medvedev said.

Addressing Russia’s anti-IS deployment, Medvedev said the air operation is not targeting civilians. "No one has yet presented any evidence of our air strikes hitting the civilian population."

The Russian PM called on his Western counterparts "not to threaten a ground operation" in Syria, stressing that Moscow is doing its utmost to pave the way for a lasting peace in the war-torn country.
"It is important to save a united Syrian state, preventing it from falling apart into religion-based [fragments]. The world can't afford another Libya, Yemen or Afghanistan. The outcomes of such a scenario would be disastrous for the entire Middle East," Medvedev said.

"Russia’s economic crisis is worse than Moscow admits" says Former Central Banker.

"Russia’s economic crisis is worse than Moscow admits" says Former Central Banker. (Rferl).

former deputy chairman of the Russian Central Bank has said Russia’s economic crisis is worse than Moscow admits and that the Kremlin’s optimism about future prospects "has not been based on reality."
Sergei Aleksashenko told RFE/RL on February 10 that "the Russian economy is not going to grow" in the near future "and the most likely scenario is stagnation in the medium term."

He said Russian authorities “have not acknowledged the real nature of the crisis, at least publicly” and the crisis “is not over, as the Kremlin claims.”

On the contrary,” he said, “the Russian economy is set to continue downward."

The Russian economy has been hit hard by falling global oil prices and international sanctions imposed in response to the Kremlin’s illegal annexation of Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula two years ago and its support for pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

President Vladimir Putin has wagered that ordinary Russians will withstand the hardships brought about amid deteriorating relations with the West over his foreign policy maneuvers.

But now, Aleksashenko said, Russia is experiencing a series of negative trends that, by his estimate, dragged down Russia’s GDP by 9 percent in 2015.

Russia’s state statistics agency said GDP fell by only 3.7 percent last year.

Aleksashenko called that a “statistical miracle” that “does not reflect the real problems.”

As the saying goes, there are lies, damned lies, and statistics,” he said. “If we slice and dice [the official statistical data,] it would be evident that the only growing component of Russia’s GDP was net export.”

For all other components, investments in Russia have been decreasing. Hmmmmm.......Nothing's more dangerous than a cornered and wounded animal.Read the full story here.

Sudden Massive Snap Exercise and Mobilization of Russian Forces in Black Sea and Caspian Region seems Aimed at Turkey.

Sudden Massive Snap Exercise and Mobilization of Russian Forces in Black Sea and Caspian Region seems Aimed at Turkey. (Jamestown).

The present snap exercise strongly resembles a massive combat prewar troop deployment aimed to take on Turkey if it attempts to intervene in Syria to curtail the Russian-led offensive in Aleppo, Idlib and Latakia provinces, which is decimating the Syrian opposition. The Russian military deployment must deter both Turkey and NATO, ideally splitting the Alliance. If deterrence fails, the deployed troops will likely be ready to go into action. IRGC Deputy-Commander Hossein Salami: Turkey cannot make an impact "even 10 meters away" from its borders

IRGC Deputy-Commander Hossein Salami: Turkey cannot make an impact "even 10 meters away" from its borders. (Memri).

In a December 16, 2015 speech at the second Basij Supreme Assembly in Mashhad, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) deputy commander Hossein Salami reviewed the geopolitical developments in the Middle East in the wake of the Russian intervention in Syria. Emphasizing that Iran has triumphed in the Middle East and that its "offspring," that is, its emissaries, are in the eastern Mediterranean, he said that Iran has built great capabilities in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.

Conversely, he said, Iran's enemies are floundering: Turkey wished to become a regional power but in reality it cannot make an impact "even 10 meters away" from its borders; Saudi Arabia's policies are failing in Yemen, Iraq and Syria; and America has lost much of its influence in the Middle East and has become nothing more than a "regular player." He also noted that the power of Iran and its allies "benefited the Iranian nuclear team at the negotiating table."

"Every time that Islam rose, all the polytheists and enemies of Islam launched a military expedition against God's religion – but despite all of these obstacles, Islam found its path of jihad, its arena of influence, and its range of impact.

"It was those who experienced economic sanctions during the Shaab Abi Taleb era and immigrated to Al-Madina from Mecca with Muhammad who spread Islam.[2] All the great global wars that have occurred in the region of the Islamic world were in order to change the destiny of Islam. Wars were even shaped in Europe to topple the Muslims.

"From the day the Islamic Revolution [in Iran] was victorious [in 1979], the U.S. and the Zionist regime attacked 14 Muslim countries, and the U.S. alone attacked seven Muslim countries – but with the grace of God and the blessing of the Jurisprudent [Iran's ruler], in the era of [Ayatollah Ruhollah] Khomeini and in the grand era of [Iranian Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei, Iran thwarted the focus of the enemy's strategy on the regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was an artistic performance, and a divine wonder, that at the peak of the military blockade [against Iran] all of these focuses [on Iran] were thwarted. At one point, their artillery shells targeted Ahvaz, and our cities, in order to eliminate the concept called Islam from the political geography of the Islamic world. But Islam, and revolution, were able to change the battlefield.

"Look at the radius of our action today. Our offspring in the eastern Mediterranean are monitoring the developments. The order built by the great powers has completely collapsed. The Red Sea and the Mediterranean, Lebanon, Syria, and Bahrain [were once under] U.S. [influence, but] are no longer so. They [the Americans] have lost huge areas. Today, we are facing complicated developments. But when we study these developments, we realize this divine reality: Victory is in our hands.

"All our enemies have something in common: all of them faced a strategic dead end, and are wandering around, [not knowing how] to continue their policies. Look at Turkey. This country wanted to play the role of the great regional power – but it is incapable of making an impact even 10 meters away from it. [Turkey] felt that the atmosphere was ready for it to reclaim an expanded role

But after five years of financial, political, and economic efforts, it has not succeeded in any area. We consider Turkey strategically incapable, [even] with a fancy army. [All its] bluffing and threats [are based on] the support of the Americans. Turkey is incapable of expanding its power; it has a fancy army with stylish equipment, but it has never [even] fought the Kurds. Hmmmm.....Iran no longer needs it's 'lifeline' Turkey it was to be expected that they would turn on them. Read the full story here.

Video - Munich: Lavrov, Kerry and de Mistura speak on Syrian crisis

Russian PM Medvedev warns of 'world war' if nations fail to negotiate over Syria.

Russia raises spectre of 'world war' if nations fail to negotiate over Syria. (DS).

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said all powers must sit at the negotiating table to forge an end to the war in Syria "instead of unleashing a new world war".

"The Americans and our Arab partners must think well: do they want a permanent war?" Medvedev told Germany's Handelsblatt newspaper, due to be published on Friday.

It would be impossible to win such a war quickly, he said according to a German translation of his words, "especially in the Arab world, where everybody is fighting against everybody".

"All sides must be compelled to sit at the negotiating table instead of unleashing a new world war," he said.

He said the United States and Russia must exert pressure on all sides in the conflict in order to secure a ceasefire.

Russia is carrying out bombing sorties around the key city of Aleppo, in support of advances by troops loyal to President Bashar Assad. U.S. and other Western air forces are also involved in air strikes in northern Syria. Hmmm......The world would be a much better place without the Muslim Brotherhood war dogs.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin has been barred from entering Montenegro, which is facing strong pressure from the Kremlin for its plans to join NATO, the country's foreign ministry said Thursday.

Ministry spokeswoman Gordana Jovanovic told the AP that that Rogozin is among 50 Russian politicians and businesspeople who are not allowed to enter the small Balkan country.

Montenegro, a traditional Russian ally that now wants to join the EU and NATO, has adopted Western sanctions against Moscow for its role in the Ukrainian crisis.

Rogozin, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, recently said Montenegro would "regret" joining the Western military alliance which in December issued a formal membership invitation.

"I don't mean the people (will regret it), but the small group of people who are making the decisions," Rogozin said.

Rogozin has been invited to Montenegro by pro-Moscow parties that have been staging anti-government and anti-NATO demonstrations that have sometimes turned violent.
Milan Knezevic, an opposition leader, said Rogozin should ignore the ban.

"We guarantee his safety," he told the Pobjeda daily. "Instead of confronting agents of the Islamic State in Montenegro, the regime is threatening with arresting deputy prime minister of Russia, which is the only one uncompromisingly fighting this global terrorist creation." Hmmm.......All Islamist roads lead to Turkey.
