UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader Nigel Farage says Britain’s upcoming referendum on EU membership is a vote on whether the UK wants to enter political union with Turkey, a state he described as “increasingly Islamist and authoritarian.”

Farage made the remarks in a speech to fellow MEPs in Brussels, during which he also accused Turkey of blackmailing the EU into accepting its proposals to address the ongoing migrant crisis.

The comments come after the EU agreed to speed up Turkey’s accession process to the EU and pay Ankara €3 billion (US$3.3 billion) in aid in return for the country accepting tens of thousands of extra refugees.

Farage told MEPs on Wednesday that if Turkey joined the EU it would make Britain more vulnerable to terrorism.

“The historic error made by Chancellor Merkel last year by saying all can come has led directly to this mess and now we are being blackmailed by Turkey. I wish that David Cameron was as good at negotiations as the Turks are,” he said.

“So we are going to go into political union with a country that has got borders with Iraq, Iran and Syria, a country that is poorer than anybody else in the European Union and give free movement to 75 million people. And join up with a government that is increasingly Islamist and authoritarian.

“Well this referendum in Britain is all about what is the safest option. It is pretty clear to me that a vote to remain is a vote for Turkey, a vote to remain is a vote for massively increased immigration into Britain and a vote to remain is a vote that makes Britain more vulnerable to terrorism. Jewish hate crimes in London have rocketed by 61 percent in the last year, Metropolitan Police figures show. John Mann MP has called on the government to introduce new legislation to clamp down on hate speech.

The findings published on Wednesday show a total of 483 anti-Semitic crimes were committed between November 2014 and November 2015. This marks a significant rise on the 299 hate crimes recorded during the same period the previous year.

The south London borough of Lambeth saw a 200 percent rise in Jewish hate crimes, while Westminster saw a 178 percent increase.

Commenting on the findings, Mann said the increase may be due to messages distributed online.

“The big change … has been the growth of anti-Semitic hate crimes which I have witnessed first-hand. Over 200 anti-Semitic attacks have been made on me in the last six months over the internet in this country alone. This is mild compared to prominent Jewish politicians,” he told the Independent.

“Many of these threats are extreme right-wing abuse, calculated to offend, others are abuse from the far left – usually recycling the old tropes about money, power and conspiracy.

“There needs to be a new law on hate speech on the internet, requiring the internet companies to immediately identify the perpetrators and a regulatory system to oversee their managing of threatening content.”

The Metropolitan Police said it does not have full statistics on the proportion of crimes carried out online.

“The number of anti-Semitic offences recorded between December 2013 and November 2014 was 299. There were 184 more anti-Semitic offences in the subsequent 12-month period to November 2015,” a spokesperson for the force said.

In July, the Community Security Trust (CST), a charity that monitors anti-Semitism in the UK, discovered a significant leap in the number of recorded incidents in the wake of January’s terror attack on a Jewish deli in Paris.

The CST numbers of Antisemitic hate crimes seem way higher than what the Police is saying:

CST recorded 473 antisemitic incidents across the UK in the first six months of 2015, a 53 per cent increase on the first six months of 2014.

In addition to the 473 antisemitic incidents recorded by CST, a further 333 potential incidents were reported to CST which, after investigation, did not show evidence of antisemitic targeting, content or motivation and are not included in the statistics in this report.

 Home Secretary Theresa May said she welcomed the growing awareness of anti-Semitic abuse. “It is encouraging that more people are coming forward as the under-reporting of hate crime is a real issue,” May said in a statement. “I know that many Jewish people in this country are concerned about safety in their community, and we are listening. Those who seek to spread anti-Semitic hatred should know that the government will act against all those who seek to divide our country and sow discord.” Hmmmm..........Amazing not a single mention of Islamic antisemitism.

An Asian family who converted to Christianity claim they are being driven out of their home for the second time by Muslim persecutors.

Nissar Hussain, his wife Kubra and their six children said they have suffered an appalling ordeal at the hands of neighbours who regard them as blasphemers.

They claim they are effectively prisoners in their own home after being attacked in the street, having their car windscreens repeatedly smashed and eggs thrown at their windows.

Mr Hussain, 49, has even given up his career as a nurse due to the effect on his health.

Police have been called numerous times to deal with the trouble but are said to be reluctant to treat the problem as a religious hate crime.

Only one successful prosecution has been made, and Mr Hussain said he feels so let down by police he has lodged a complaint with the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

He also criticised the Anglican Church for failing to provide any meaningful support.

Now the family are likely to move from their home city of Bradford to a 'white English' area to escape the hate campaign.

'Our lives have been sabotaged and this shouldn't happen in the United Kingdom,' said Mr Hussain.

'We live in a free democratic society and what they are doing to us is abhorrent.'

The Daily Mail first reported the family's ordeal in 2005 when they accused Muslims of a campaign of ethnic cleansing against them.

A year later they moved to a different part of Bradford to start again.

Neighbours welcomed them into the community and all was well until Mr Hussain took part in a Channel 4 Dispatches TV documentary about the mistreatment of Muslim converts, which was screened in 2008.

They were recognised by a large Muslim family of seven brothers and four sisters living on the same street and were immediately ostracised.

The younger children from both families attended the local Church of England primary school, where a majority of pupils were Muslims of Pakistani heritage, but car sharing trips were soon stopped by the other family.

Mr Hussain said 'word was spread around the playground' about them being Christian converts and their youngest daughter was bullied.

Youngest daughter Leena, now 14, was told by her friends 'our parents say we mustn't mix with you because you are a convert.' Mr Hussain said: 'She was heartbroken and made to feel like a second class citizen.'

Mr Hussain said his wife, 45, and children Issar, 23, Anniesa, 21, Sarah, 19, Miriam, 17, Leena and Isaaq, seven, have faced harassment and abuse on almost a daily basis.

The family were denounced as 'apostates' – a term used for those who renounce a religion for another – which in some hardline Islamic countries is punishable with death.

Flashpoints include an incident in March this year when Mr Hussain ended up grappling with a man who 'threatened and confronted' his wife.

Police were called and Mr Hussain was arrested and spent 12 hours in police cells before being released without charge.

Over the last year, Mr Hussain has had his car windscreen smashed six times at a cost of £5,000. His eldest son, a final year medical student, has also had his windscreen smashed.

Although their faith remains strong, Mr and Mrs Hussain no longer attend church. 'We have given up on the Church of England, they have done nothing for us,' said Mr Hussain.

A meeting, arranged by a friend, with a local imam – who 'listened and promised to help' – also led to nothing, said Mr Hussain. Hmmm.....'Moderate' Islam, many talk about it, but rarely seen. Read and see the full story here.

Politics endangers the soul. Where there was once principle and conviction, there is compromise and obfuscation. Doctrine adapts and morality is murky. Truth is abstracted, or swallowed in bitterness. The essential decency of our national worship is mistaken for for zealous intolerance: it is extremely unadvisable to believe anything too strongly.

Since becoming leader of the Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn has bent over backwards to dispel the perception that he believes what he once seemed to. Observations that he breaks bread with Jew-hating anti-Semites, conspiracy theorists, murderers, Israel-haters, Holocaust-deniers and sundry other terrorists and extremists have been dispatched with a shallow repudiation: the diplomatic quest for peace and reconciliation.

He is no racist: he once enjoyed fellowship with cultic terrorists in the pursuit of social justice and community cohesion, but will be a bit more careful in the future because he wants to be prime minister.

Yet in Brighton, at the Labour Party’s first conference under his leadership, Labour Friends of Palestine have hosted one Dr Husam Zomlot. Here’s the positive spiel:

Husam Zomlot is co-founder and coordinator of the Palestine Strategy Group. He serves as ambassador at large for the Palestinian government and adjunct professor and co-chair of the School of Government at Birzeit University

Dr. Zomlot served as a PLO representative to the UK from 2003 to 2008. His work experience includes the United Nations, the London School of Economics and the Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute.

He holds a PhD degree in Economics from the University of London and held teaching and research positions at the University of London and Harvard University. His book entitled: ‘Building a Palestinian State Under Occupation’ is in press.

Allah knows what manner of doctorate involved a GCSE-level of methodological inquiry and an 11+ apprehension of data analysis. Despite the reliability of the evidence, corroborated by all accounts, Dr Zomlot asserts that the beheading of James Foley was “fabricated” by Israel. And those pesky Jews go even further: “..they are fabricating also the story of the Holocaust, that it happened in Europe..”

Why are the Labour Friends of Palestine hosting a conspiracy theorist and Holocaust-denier? Why are they hosting someone to speak about Palestinian justice and history whose apprehension of justice is vicious, and whose knowledge of history is.. well, a little confused. Imams, priests, rabbis and other religious figures will have to enrol in a ‘national register of faith leaders’ and be subject to government-specified training and security checks in the Home Office’s latest action on extremism.

The highly controversial proposal appears in a leaked draft of the Government’s new counter-extremism strategy, seen by The Telegraph, which goes substantially further than previous versions of the document

The strategy, due to be published this autumn, says that Whitehall will ‘require all faiths to maintain a national register of faith leaders’ and the Government will ‘set out the minimum level of training and checks’ faith leaders must have to join the new register.

Registration will be compulsory for all faith leaders who wish to work with the public sector, including universities, the document says. In practice, most faith leaders have some dealings with the public sector and the requirement will cover the great majority.”

With respect to the Muslim Brotherhood in the UK, the report cites the following section from the document that describes the Muslim Brotherhood as an “extremist movement”:

The document defines extremism as “the vocal or active opposition to fundamental British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and the mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs,” or as calling for the death of members of the British Armed Forces.

It also names a number of specific groups – including the Association of Muslim Schools, which has close links to a number of the Trojan Horse plotters.

A Government review into the Brotherhood, completed months ago, has still not been published. Hmmm......Maulana Shah Raza, founding member of the Mosques and Imams National Advisory Board (Minab), a self-regulatory body designed to promote best practice, warned the Government “not to meddle in religious affairs or to expand the state’s involvement in deciding on religious and theological issues”. Between 2004 and 2008, the Iranian-backed Mahdi Army militia, led by Muqtada al-Sadr, killed at least 70 British soldiers, not to mention thousands of Iraqi civilians. Last February, the man who might become the next leader of the Labour Party shared a platform with al-Sadr’s British representative.

Jeremy Corbyn was helping Sayyed Hassan al-Sadr celebrate “the all-encompassing revolution,” the 35th anniversary of the ayatollahs’ takeover in Iran.

Mr Corbyn, The Telegraph can reveal, has taken thousands of pounds in gifts from organisations closely linked to the terror group Hamas, whose operatives he once described as “friends”.

He has travelled to Tehran at the expense of a secretive British-Iranian multi-millionaire who has employed a number of other British parliamentarians as consultants to build business links with the country.

He has hosted, promoted and vigorously defended vicious anti-Semites and racists. Nor, of course, was the al-Sadr talk the first time that Mr Corbyn came a little too close to killers of British troops. From the mid-Eighties, a decade before the IRA ceasefire, he worked hard to build links between Labour and the Provos, regularly hosting senior figures from their political wing in Parliament, calling for British withdrawal from Northern Ireland and paying tribute to deceased terrorists.

His defenders call him ahead of his time; his opponents say that, by giving the IRA hope that the armed struggle was working, he and others on the Left actually prolonged the conflict.

These days, however, it is Islamist causes that claim more of Mr Corbyn’s attention. Others on the Left may support negotiating with Hamas, whose aim remains the complete destruction of Israel and which continues to kill civilians, but no other MP does so with quite the frequency and fervour of Mr Corbyn.

In February 2013, he and his wife travelled to Gaza thanks to a £2,800 gift from Interpal, a British charity banned by the US government as “part of the funding network of Hamas” and as a terrorist organisation in its own right.

Interpal is allowed to operate in the UK after claiming it has broken its links with Hamas, a claim accepted by the Charity Commission.

However, Interpal’s managing trustee, Essam Mustafa, was pictured eighteen months ago accompanying the Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, on an official visit in Gaza. The two were filmed clapping and singing an anti-Israeli song in praise of Hamas’s military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, and Hamas “martyrs.”

Dr Mustafa also paid his respects at the shrine for Ahmed Said Khalil, the head of the al-Qassam Brigades killed in an Israeli airstrike. Dr Mustafa is a former member of Hamas’s executive committee.

In 2012, Mr Haniyeh and Dr Mustafa visited the homes of Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi, a senior Hamas leader who once promised he would "kill Jews everywhere," and Sheikh Said Seyam, who commanded Hamas's Executive Force, a militia that tortured and murdered Palestinian supporters of Fatah during Hamas's violent takeover of the Gaza Strip in 2006.

Mr Corbyn has received at least two further free trips, worth £2,450, from the Palestinian Return Centre and its subsidiary the European Campaign to End the Siege on Gaza, based at the PRC office in Crown House, Wembley. The PRC is said by the Israeli government to be “Hamas’s organisational branch in Europe” whose members are “senior Hamas leaders who promote the movement’s agenda in Europe.”

The PRC denies this. However, it takes a strongly pro-Hamas position and has regularly hosted Hamas leaders, including Mr Haniyeh, at its annual conferences.

The Telegraph has obtained evidence from security sources showing that at least one senior PRC leader in Europe has recruited individuals to Hamas. The PRC’s current head of media in the UK, Sameh Habeeb, founded and edited a virulently anti-Semitic website, Palestine Telegraph, which published a video by the former head of the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke and numerous conspiracy theories about Jewish control of the world.

Mr Corbyn spoke at a conference organised by Middle East Monitor (MEMO), another group based at Crown House with strong sympathies for Hamas. MEMO’s director, Daud Abdullah, is a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood-linked British Muslim Initiative, set up and run by the Brotherhood activist Anas al-Tikriti and two senior figures in Hamas.

MEMO’s “senior editor”, Ibrahim Hewitt, an extremist who believes that adulterers should be stoned to death, is chairman of Interpal, the Hamas-linked charity. MEMO has organised several meetings featuring Hamas leaders and terrorist sympathisers; its website also repeatedly peddles conspiracy theories about Jews in articles such as “How money from Israeli donors controls Westminster.”

Mr Corbyn and MEMO co-sponsored the visit to Britain and to Parliament of an Israel-based anti-Semitic extremist, Sheikh Raed Saleh, found by a British court to have spread the classic “blood libel” against Jews, the claim that they use the blood of gentile children to make their bread. Mr Saleh, who also describes Jews as “monkeys” and “bacteria,” claims that 9/11 was a Jewish plot and that the Jews employed at the World Trade Center were warned not to come into work that day.

But he was strongly defended by Mr Corbyn, who congratulated him on defeating Government moves to exclude him from Britain, called him “a very honoured citizen who represents his people extremely well” and said he “looked forward to giving you tea on the [House of Commons]terrace.”

Mr Corbyn has met the leadership of Hamas, including Mr Haniyeh, several times, but they are not the only terror group he has had dealings with. He has also praised, and spoken on platforms with, representatives of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah, and once shared a platform with the Black September hijacker, Leila Khaled. In November 2012, Mr Corbyn hosted a meeting in Parliament with Mousa Abu Maria, a member of the banned terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Mr Abu Maria claimed at the time that he was no longer involved in the group, but was photographed as recently as May of that year holding a poster of support for PIJ terrorists.

The same year, Mr Corbyn also agreed to speak alongside two of Britain’s leading domestic bigots, Abdurraheem Green and Wasim Kempson, at a conference held at Arsenal FC’s Emirates stadium. The club barred Mr Green from its premises at the last minute after learning that he advocates a husband’s right to beat his wife.

Green has also stated that “whoever claims that the Jew and the Christian are our brethren in faith has without doubt made a statement of clear kufr [disbelief]” and quotes a saying of the Prophet that “if you find a Jew or Christian walking down the street, push them to the side.”

Mr Corbyn’s visit to Iran, in January last year, was partly financed by Ardeshir Naghshineh, a British-based Iranian property entrepeneur who once owned Centre Point but lost most of his fortune after many of his businesses were placed into administration with massive debts to Lloyds Bank. He still has substantial wealth, but is described by the chief executive of his Targetfollow Group, Corin Thoday, as someone who is “very keen to keep [his sources of finance] confidential.”

For all Mr Corbyn’s strictures against the West’s past commercial exploitation of Iran, his patron, Mr Naghshineh, is at the heart of attempts by Western oil and resource companies to re-enter the Iranian market.

Also on the trip paid for by Mr Naghshineh were Jack Straw, the former Foreign Secretary, now consultant to ED&F Man, one of the world’s biggest commodities traders, and Lord Lamont, the former Chancellor, then a consultant to Targetfollow and to the British-Iraqi billionaire Nadhmi Auchi, long a key Middle East intermediary for the oil industry. Mr Corbyn has no such commercial ties, but it must be earnestly hoped that he was not being used as left-wing cover in an operation to reclaim Iran for global capitalism. Read the full story here.

Monday, London's Metropolitan Police (a/k/a Scotland Yard) released hate crime figures for the year that ended 30 June 2015. During that period, there were 816 anti-Muslim crimes, up 71% from the 478 crimes the year before. There were 499 anti-Jewish hate crimes, up 93% from the 258 crimes the year before.

According to the 2011 census, there were 1,013,000 Muslims and 149,000 Jews living in London, as Islamist Watch reported previously.

Based on these numbers, per capita, there was one hate crime incident for every 1,241 Muslims and one for every 299 Jews in London last year. Read the full story here.

Radical cleric Anjem Choudary has been charged with inviting support for ISIS, a proscribed terrorist organisation, Scotland Yard said.

A statement released by the Met says, Choudary, 48, of Ilford, north-east London, was charged with inviting support for a proscribed terrorist organisation, namely ISIL, also known as ISIS or the Islamic State, contrary to section 12 Terrorism Act 2000.

The alleged offences took place between June 29 2014 and March 6 this year.

Another man, Mohammed Rahman, a 32-year-old from East London, was charged with the same offence.

In a statement today, the police laid out the charges for both as: 'Between 29 June 2014 and 6 March 2015 invited support for a proscribed terrorist organisation, namely ISIL, also known as ISIS or the Islamic State, contrary to section 12 Terrorism Act 2000.'

Before answering his police bail at Southwark police station this morning, Choudary was confident he would be rebailed and criticised the government's policy of cracking down on hate crime.

He said: 'The whole issue is about people supposedly preaching hate but there's so much hate preached by people, by the far right, by animal rights activists.

'If people have strong views why should they be curtailed? If you believe in freedom of expression then why should they be curtailed?

The Sun reports it tipped off authorities about planned London bomb attack after Isis leader recruited undercover investigator from newspaper.

Police have encouraged the public to attend events as normal after it was reported that an Armed Forces Day parade had been targeted by Islamic State (Isis).

An intended suicide bombing of a parade in south London on Saturday would have targeted soldiers from the same unit as murdered soldier Lee Rigby, according to The Sun.

The plot to explode a pressure-cooker bomb – to kill soldiers and bystanders on the route – was revealed after one of its leaders in Syria unwittingly recruited an undercover investigator from the newspaper to carry it out, the report said.

It is alleged that a figure in Isis, whom it named as Junaid Hussain from Birmingham, told the investigator: “It will be big. We will hit the kuffar (unbelievers) hard InshAllah. Hit their soldiers in their own land. InshAllah. Soldiers that served in Iraq and Afganistan will be present. Jump in the crowd and detonate the bomb.

“They think they can kill Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan then come back to the UK and be safe. We’ll hit them hard InshAllah.”

The newspaper said the plot to bomb the parade in Merton, south-west London, was thwarted when it informed police and security services. Read the full story here.

In Exposure - Jihad: A British Story, I investigate the roots of Islamic extremism in the UK, speaking to many reformed extremists as well as ordinary young Muslims to answer the burning question of why some young British Muslims join fanatical jihadi cults like ISIS. For Exposure, I spent two years travelling the UK, interviewing British citizens, whose lives had been consumed by extremism.

One of these was a pivotal figure: Abu Muntasir. Now a reformed and moderate imam, he is tormented by his violent past. He has been described as one of the founding fathers of the British jihadi movement. He fought in Afghanistan, Kashmir and Burma, and organised arms shipments.

He told me: “I inspired and recruited. I trained, I raised funds, I sent people for training, I went and fought myself, and it wasn’t just for a one-off - 15 to 20 years.” He worked to radicalise thousands of young Muslims and encouraged many young men to fight abroad.

Neo-Nazis plan to destroy Israeli flags during a protest at the heart of the Jewish community next month.

Organisers of the July 4 demonstration in Golders Green, north-west London, have also urged supporters to attend a secret burning of the Talmud ahead of the event.

Joshua Bonehill-Paine, a white supremacist activist, wrote on his website on Monday that a “private ceremony” would be held to burn the religious texts “in recognition of its racist anti-white teachings”.

He said his group of nationalist demonstrators would hold further protests against the Jewish community in Finchley, Stamford Hill and other locations later in the summer.

The decision to destroy Israeli flags would be “in solidarity with those oppressed by the illegal state of Israel”, Bonehill-Paine wrote. “Activists are welcome to bring Israeli flags on July 4 as we will be destroying them in an act of opposition to Israel.

“This will be a show of solidarity by English people who recognise that Israel is a corrupt state which is responsible for horrific war crimes.

“To avoid prosecution we will not be burning flags, we will dismember them by hand.”

Jewish community representatives have repeatedly said they are not intimidated by the planned extremist demonstration.

Speaking at a meeting on Sunday attended by the police, Shomrim and delegates from more than 40 local synagogues, Community Security Trust representatives said they were “concerned and repelled” by the plans but not afraid.

CST has previously described Bonehill-Paine as “essentially a provocateur who has not shown the capacity to mobilise large numbers of people to attend far-right events”.

Mobile phone giant EE has launched an investigation over claims staff refused to give phone chargers to Jewish customers.

At least two Orthodox Jews say they were refused service at the EE store in Tottenham Hale in north London because of their religion.

Assistant manager Daniel Reid then allegedly called Jewish people "very arrogant" when confronted with the claims by a journalist.

The Jewish men, who wear traditional attire, were trying to claim free portable chargers as part of an EE promotion but were told they were out of stock - before watching non-Jewish customers collect them.

A 24-year-old web designer from Stamford Hill, who wished to remain anonymous, challenged staff but was told those receiving the "Power Bar" chargers had pre-booked.

"We knew that didn't make sense so we stopped three people who got their Power Bars, and they all said it was not prebooked," he told the Standard.

"It's very uncomfortable to have a shop around the corner not serving us because we're Jews."

Police officers visited the store to speak to staff but decided no crime had been committed and the matter should be referred to trading standards.

Assistant manager Mr Reid was contacted by The Jewish Chronicle and reportedly told the paper: "There is no discrimination in our business. I am black and Christian.

"I am not being funny, Jewish people are very arrogant but we serve them to the best of our ability. I do find them arrogant."

EE customer and Stamford Hill resident Sam Schwartz, 33, said members of the Jewish community were considering a boycott of the phone network.

"For the shop manager to tell the Jewish Chronicle that we're arrogant is quite amazing," he said, adding: "It happened to at least two or three people that we know of - it's a pattern.

"You should treat customers equally. What do they have to gain? Unfortunately that's the world we live in."

A spokeswoman for EE said: "We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind at EE. "The reported incident in the store and the subsequent comments are wholly unacceptable and we are investigating as a matter of urgency."

The threat has been taken so seriously it came close to leading to an outright ban on all hand luggage, a senior insider has revealed.

Mobile phones and electronic devices could still be banned from plane cabins, with the threat of a 9/11-style coordinated attack on London and other major cities feared imminent.

The warning comes as Whitehall officials admit that a terror strike on the UK is now "almost inevitable" particularly with British jihadis returning from fighting alongside the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

An airport security source told the Sunday Express: "We've been told that five planes are being targeted in a high profile hit before Christmas. They've been waiting for the big one.

"We have many scares but this one nearly got hand baggage pulled from all airlines. The threat is still alive and real."

The plot, which has been known about for the past two months, is thought to involve Islamists smuggling bombs on to planes bound for major European destinations before Christmas.

The well-placed security insider said talks had been held about how to deal with it, with suggestions made to ban hand luggage.

The source said: "High level negotiations are continuing at Governmental level but at the moment there has been little done to respond.

"There is paralysis because of the difficulty of banning hand luggage which is one of the strongest weapons we have against the new threats.

"All electronics may be banned from hand luggage and placed in the hold, that has been considered, and there has been behaviour analysis training at airports but while it's effective, it's difficult to roll out quickly and is not a sufficient safety net.

Security experts also warn that future terror attacks could be carried out by sleepers - western converts as likely to have blond hair and blue eyes as dark skin and beards.
