Iran already receiving yellow cake from Russia......but has huge reserves of Uranium deposits.

Iran receives yellow cake from Russia.(Taz).

Iran has already received yellow cake from Russia, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said Dec. 15.

Araqchi said that the Islamic Republic has received a specific amount of yellow cake that was expected to be handed over to Iran in exchange for the country’s enriched uranium after the adoption of a resolution on Iran’s nuclear program by the International Atomic Energy Agency.

According to Araqchi, Iran is now expected to send off its enriched uranium to Russia after the adoption of a resolution on the country’s PMD (possible military dimensions to Tehran’s nuclear program) file by the IAEA Board of Governors, the Fars news agency reported Dec. 15.

Earlier on Dec. 14, Araqchi said Iran would sell its enriched uranium to Russia and would receive 140 tons of uranium ore in exchange for 10 tons of its enriched uranium after the adoption of the resolution.

Under the nuclear deal, the sanctions against Tehran will be lifted in exchange for scaling down Iran’s nuclear activities.

Yellow cake, also called urania, is a type of uranium concentrate powder. It is a step in the processing of uranium after it has been mined, before fuel fabrication or enrichment. Hmmm....Having 'rediscovered' new massive uranium deposits inside Iran....my guess.... They're pulling a fast one.

Flashback July 2015
Under permission from the Supreme Leader, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has been conducting airborne surveys for discovering uranium deposits, he said, adding that good news in this regard will be announced in the future. “In the next 10 years, we will reach a level which will acquire raw materials for 190,000 SWU enrichment capacity,” he noted.

Iran says Amano’s 'Ceremonial' visit of Parchin military site annuls accusations.

Iran says Amano’s 'Ceremonial' visit of Parchin military site annuls accusations. (Taz).

Director General for Political and International Affairs at Iran 's Foreign Ministry Hamid Baidinejad said that IAEA chief Yukiya Amano’s recent visit of the Parchin military site has annulled accusations that Iran is pushing a nuclear weapon program.

The arrangement of Amano’s ceremonial and public visit of the site proved once again that political and security organizations of the Islamic Republic can carry out painstaking sets of actions to lay waste the claims that are made against the country, he said, ISNA news agency reported Sept. 21.

Parchin military base, located near the capital city of Tehran, is where the UN body suspects Iran has conducted nuclear-related tests more than a decade ago. But Iran has repeatedly denied any nuclear activity at Parchin, noting that 'road construction' activities have been done at the site.

Our country thus managed to take a great step on the path to the implementation of the roadmap with the IAEA and end the case of Western countries’ accusations,” Baidinejad said.

By itself, the roadmap is indicative of a fundamental change in Iran-IAEA relations on one side and a turnabout in the P5+1 approach to the Iranian nuclear case on the other, he further noted. Hmmm......After stalling Nine years, you think they did some cleaning in that period?

Iranian experts took last week samples from disputed Parchin site without IAEA inspectors presence.

Iranian experts took last week samples from disputed Parchin site without IAEA inspectors presence. (Taz).

Iranian experts took environmental samples from the Parchin military base without presence of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors, Behrouz Kamalvandi, the spokesman for the Atomic Energy Agency of Iran (AEOI) said.

The sampling carried out last week within the framework of the Iran-IAEA cooperation, Kamalvandi said, Iran ’s IRNA news agency reported Sept. 21.

He further said that the Iranian experts took samples from certain points in Parchin in compliance with the relevant regulations and standards. Iran has handed over the samples to the IAEA experts, he added.

It was earlier reported that inspectors from IAEA would observe samples being taken.

IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano visited the disputed parts of Parchin site, together with the Head of the Department of Safeguards, Tero Varjoranta on Sept. 20 during his Iran trip. Hmmm......What a giant 'Comedy Channel' operation. Amano is just the 'delivery boy' Read the full story here.

'Evil' IAEA deprived Iran of minimum services: senior Iranian MP

'Evil' IAEA deprived Iran of minimum services: senior Iranian MP. (Taz).

On the issue of the IAEA's failure in supplying 20-percent enriched uranium for Tehran's research reactor in the past which led to Iran's own efforts and success in producing the 20-percent uranium, he (Amano) blamed the member states for disagreement on providing Iran with the supply, and said the problem was not created by the IAEA.

A senior Iranian member of Parliament Alireza Zakani said Sunday that the International Atomic Energy Agency has deprived Iran of the least services envisaged by Charter of the UN nuclear agency, Irna reported.

The IAEA is duty-bound to render services to those member countries that have accepted the Safeguards Agreement, but Iran has been deprived of the least services by the UN nuclear agency, Zakani said, citing Iranian patients' difficulties for receiving radioisotopes for their treatment.

'In 2005, when Iranian patients desperately needed radioisotopes, Belgium stopped providing radioisotopes to Iran. As a nuclear medicine specialist, I know that 130 nuclear centers of the country were shut down for a long time.'

Zakani complained that the IAEA has not carried out its inherent duties so far. 'Once Tehran research reactor ran out of fuel, 20 percent enriched uranium -- and the medical services to the cancer patients were paralyzed, the agency refused to supply fuel to Iran and Iran had no way but to provide fuel by its own which led to international sanctions and heavy damages on national economy,' Zakani said. Hmmm.....OK We had it coming, we asked for it.

IAEA Chief Makes 'ceremonial' Visit to Disputed Iranian Military Parchin Site. (rferl).

The head of the UN nuclear agency has visited a disputed Iranian military site as part of the agency’s investigation into whether Iran carried out work related to developing a nuclear weapon.

The International Atomic Energy Agency said that Yukiya Amano traveled to the site, called Parchin, on September 20.

Parchin has been at the center of a debate over the access that agency will have in policing the nuclear deal reached between Iran and six world powers two months ago.

The scope of Amano’s visit to Parchin wasn’t immediately clear. Iranian state media described it as ceremonial rather than an inspection of the sprawling site.

Western intelligence agencies have said Parchin might be the site of a potential chemical, explosives, and munitions production since the 1990s. Western diplomats have said nuclear arms-related research may have occurred there later.

Tehran has denied conducting research related to nuclear weapons at Parchin or anywhere else in the country, saying its efforts are aimed at electricity generation, medical research, and other civilian uses.

Earlier on September 20, Amano met senior Iranian officials in Tehran, including Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

During his visit, Amano is expected to push for long-delayed interviews with Iranian scientists linked to alleged experiments as well as discuss Parchin.

The IAEA had said it had sent Iran questions over "ambiguities" in its submissions relating to the assessment of its past activities.

IAEA access to Parchin was one of the most sensitive issues during negotiations that led to the July 14 deal between Iran and world powers, which provides for restrictions on Iranian nuclear activities in exchange for a lifting of sanctions.

Under that deal, sanctions will not be lifted until Iran resolves outstanding IAEA questions about past research that Western powers suspect was related to weapons development.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has had extensive relations with the IAEA in the past 12 years and has always tried to keep these ties good, regular and legal," Rouhani said during the meeting in Tehran.

"We hope that by acting upon its responsibilities, the IAEA would move more in the next few months to help the scientific progress of countries, including Iran," he added.

Rouhani referred to the nuclear agreement clinched between Tehran and the world powers in Vienna on July 14, and said, "While implementing the JCPOA, we will implement the Additional Protocol voluntarily and we hope that you will also fairly supervise the implementation of the JCPOA."

Stressing Iran's close cooperation with the IAEA, he said, "Fortunately, the truth about Iran's peaceful nuclear activities in the past few years has been proved by the IAEA supervisions and snap inspections and it has been emphasized that Iran has never had any diversion in its peaceful program." Hmmm.....It seems the 'Useful Idiot' just has been used.

Iran's Supreme Leader's Top Aide: 'Nuclear Deal Not Done Yet'.

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Supreme Leader's top adviser for international affairs Ali Akbar Velayati underlined that the nuclear agreement between Tehran and the world powers still has a long way to go before it is approved and implemented.

"I should say that the nuclear negotiations have not ended yet since the legal authorities should still make a decision about it, and it is still soon to make any comments before the legal authorities declare their decision," Velayati told reporters in Tehran on Saturday.

Noting that the Iranian parliament is still studying the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), he said, "This will continue until we come up with definite results and we hope that the Islamic Republic of Iran's interests and expediencies will be met in this trend."

Iran and the world powers reached a final agreement in Vienna on July 14 to end a 13-year-old nuclear standoff.

Was the Iran Deal Signed By Anyone? Rep. Pompeo Demands Answers From Kerry.

Was the Iran Deal Signed By Anyone? Rep. Pompeo Demands Answers From Kerry. (IT).

Congressman Mike Pompeo (R-KS) sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry, this morning, requesting a complete and signed version of the Iran Deal finalized this summer in Vienna.
The copy submitted to Congress for review, Rep. Pompeo notes, does not include the side deals signed between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), nor have any representatives of the P5+1 or Iran signed it.
As you know, pursuant to H. Res. 411, the House of Representatives considers the documents transmitted on July 19, 2015 incomplete in light of the fact that the secret side deals between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Islamic Republic of Iran were not provided to Congress,” Pompeo wrote.

Rep. Pompeo gave Secretary Kerry the benefit of the doubt, insisting that an administrative error must be at fault for Congress receiving an unsigned version of such a groundbreaking deal. Pointing to other international agreements, which were given to Congress complete with signatures, he assumed that Kerry would tout his accomplishment in organizing this deal by presenting Congress with the full, inked version.

I am confident that you intended for the JCPOA to be signed by each of the P5+1 participants. I can find no international agreement of this ‘historic’ nature that was not signed by the parties,” he said.

He went on emphasize the importance of having a signature on such a document, to make it binding to all parties involved. He discussed the fact that President Rouhani announced that Iran is not putting the document through its national legislative process, so as not to place legal constraints on the Iranian government or people.

“[Having signatures] is particularly important with respect to JCPOA. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has made clear that he does not believe that JCPOA is legally binding on his nation, saying, ‘If the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is sent to (and passed by) parliament, it will create an obligation for the government. It will mean the president, who has not signed it so far, will have to sign it,” Pompeo asked. “Why should we place an unnecessary legal restriction on the Iranian people?”

He closed the letter by highlighting how many concessions Iran has received in this agreement, and that there is no reason they wouldn’t sign the copy submitted to Congress to approve.

“Given the many benefits that will accrue to the ayatollahs, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, and other unsavory elements of the Iranian regime, I believe that Iran should, at the very least, bind itself to the few requirements placed on it under the JCPOA by signing the agreement,” Pompeo wrote. Hmmmm.....the Biggest scam ever pulled in the world.

Official Clarifies Ahead of Amano Visit: No Interview With Iranian Scientists

Kayhan International (IRAN) Date: 19 September 2015 - 21:25 http://kayhan.ir/en/print/18550

VENNA (Dispatches) -- The head of the UN nuclear agency set off for Tehran on Saturday for high-level meetings as the two sides try to resolve outstanding issues related to Iran’s activities.

Fredrik Dahl of the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency said that IAEA chief Yukiya Amano’s meetings Sunday were aimed at "clarifications of past and present outstanding issues” linked to the agency’s probe.

Diplomats told The Associated Press on Friday that Amano was planning a trip to push for interviews with Iranian scientists linked to alleged experiments as well as to discuss a planned inspection of Parchin but Iran immediately rejected the report.

"Some international media release biased reports with certain motives and this is not a new practice,” said Behrouz Kamalvandi, the speaker for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), on Saturday.

Amano’s visit is intended to pave the way for the "implementation” of the roadmap signed between Iran and the IAEA in mid-July, he added.

"The visit will focus on the ongoing cooperation between the IAEA and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the context of the Road-map for the clarification of past and present outstanding issues regarding Iran’s nuclear program,” a statement issued by the IAEA said.

On July 14, Iran and the IAEA signed a roadmap regarding the Islamic Republic’s nuclear work in Vienna. The agreement was reached on the same day Iran and the P5+1 – the United States, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany – finalized the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in Vienna.

As part of the roadmap, the IAEA is required to finish its investigations about Iran’s nuclear activities and submit a report to the agency’s board by December 15.

On Monday, Amano said Iran has successfully met its obligations as stipulated in the roadmap, including an August 15 deadline for sending written explanations on its past activities.

Earlier this week, experts from Iran and the UN nuclear agency wrapped up a two-day session in Tehran, during which the Iranian team discussed the questions posed by the IAEA on September 8 with regard to Iran’s explanations. According to reports, expert meetings will continue in the city during the first week of the Iranian calendar month of Mehr (late September).

The UN Security Council on July 20 unanimously endorsed a draft resolution turning the JCPOA into international law.

Under the JCPOA, limits will be put on Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for, among other things, the removal of all economic and financial bans against the Islamic Republic.

The trip is significant, with Amano traveling less than a month before an Oct. 15 deadline for report on Iran’s activities.

A final UN assessment is due in December, and that will feed into the larger July 14 nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers, helping to determine whether sanctions on Iran will be lifted.

Iran denies any work on — or interest in — nuclear weapons. It says IAEA suspicions are based on false intelligence from the United States, the occupying regime of Israel and other adversaries. In refusing access to scientists the agency is interested in, Iran cites past assassinations of several experts it says worked on peaceful nuclear programs.

In a tweet last week, chief Iranian IAEA delegate Reza Najafi said Parchin "is a military site and Iran will not let any inspector go there”.

IAEA Chief to Attend Majlis Meeting, Majlis to inspect secret docs they refused to hand over to U.S.?

IAEA Chief to Attend Majlis Meeting on JCPOA,  Majlis to inspect secret docs they refused to hand over to U.S.? HT: UOI.

IAEA Director-General Yukiya Amano will travel to Tehran on Sunday to hold talks with senior Iranians officials and will attend a meeting of the Iranian parliament’s special commission that is reviewing the nuclear agreement.

Alireza Zakani, the head of t review commission of the Majlis, had earlier invited Amano to meet with his commission to answer questions on JCPOA, the nuclear agreement. The Iranian foreign ministry announced today that Amano has accepted the invitation and will attend a Sunday afternoon meeting of the commission. (Fars News Agency, 19 September)

Zakani is a leading opponent of JCPOA in Iran, and as the head of the review commission has an influential role in the parliamentary process to approve or disapprove the nuclear agreement. Majlis can also choose not to vote on JCPOA and instead refer its recommendations, including opposition to parts of the agreement, to the country’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) for consideration.

Alireza Zakani, the head of Majlis commission reviewing JCPOA, today asked the director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) to deliver two secret documents to the commission that AEOI has signed with IAEA.

Zakani said the documents deal with the Possible Military Dimensions (PMD) of Iranian nuclear program and a long-term plan with IAEA on continued inspection of Iranian nuclear sites and facilities. (IRNA, 19 September)

IAEA does not make its agreements with member states public, and AEOI is not expected to release the secret documents.

2011 Iran talks started after Obama 'Admin' Complied With Iran's Precondition To Recognize In Advance Iran's Nuclear Status.

Iranian Officials Reveal That Secret Negotiations With U.S. Began In 2011 – Only After Obama 'Admin' Complied With Tehran's Precondition To Recognize In Advance Iran's Nuclear Status. (Memri)
                                         'High crimes and misdemeanors'
American administration spokesmen have explained the nuclear agreement with Iran as both leveraging the opportunity created by the election of a pragmatic Iranian president, Hassan Rohani in June 2013, and as vital because the sanctions have not set back Iran's nuclear program, and the West has grown weary of enforcing them.[1]

However, it has emerged that the U.S. began secret negotiations even earlier, in 2011, during the presidency of the extremist Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Moreover, during that time, not only had the Western countries not lost interest in maintaining the sanctions, but they had intensified them significantly after the beginning of the secret negotiations – both in March 2012, when sanctioned Iranian banks were disconnected from the SWIFT system, and in July 2012, when the European sanctions on Iranian oil sales were imposed.

Furthermore, according to recent reports in Western media from Western sources, the Obama administration had, since President Obama took office in 2008, constantly and consistently pushed for negotiations with Iran. President Obama's messages in this regard to Iran's leadership on various levels – letters, public speeches, and so on – began as early as 2009; details of these media reports and of Obama's messages will be published in a separate MEMRI report.

Additionally, it is evident from statements by top Iranian officials that the secret contacts initiated by the Obama administration with Iran did indeed begin in 2011, during the extremist Ahmadinejad's presidency – before harsh sanctions were imposed.

This paper will present the Iranian narrative, as related by senior Iranian regime officials, about the beginning of the secret contacts between the U.S. and Iran that ultimately led to the announcement of the JCPOA in July 2015:

In a June 23, 2015 speech, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei told about the American initiative, saying that it had begun during the Ahmadinejad presidency and had centered on U.S. recognition of a nuclear Iran: "The issue of negotiating with the Americans is connected to the term of the previous [Ahmadinejad] government, and to the dispatching of a mediator to Tehran to request talks. At that time, a dignified individual from the region [referring to Omani Sultan Qaboos] came to visit me as a mediator, and said explicitly that the American president [Obama] had asked him to come to Tehran and present the Americans' request for negotiations. The Americans told this mediator: 'We want to solve the nuclear issue and lift sanctions within six months, while recognizing Iran as a nuclear power.' I told this mediator that I did not trust the Americans or their words, but I agreed, when he persisted, to reexamine this issue, and the negotiations began."

Hmmm.....2011 that's when Turkey became the 'unofficial lifeline' for IRAN  with Obama admin approval. Read the full story here.

IRGC Commander boasting about Drones and ballistic missile Capabilities only Russia and the US has.

IRGC Commander boasting about drones and ballistic missile Capabilities only Russia and the US has.(Fars).

Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Brigadier General Hossein Salami announced that the IRGC has developed a drone technology which has empowered its pilotless aircraft with the capability to fly 3,000km for reconnaissance and combat missions.

"The IRGC has a drone that has a flying range of 3,000 km round-trip and is capable of conducting reconnaissance and combat missions," Salami said in an interview with the state-run TV on Tuesday night.

"We also have a unique ballistic missile that no one else, but perhaps Russia and the US, has; and intercepting this missile is almost impossible," he added.

Elsewhere, Salami underlined Iran's high capabilities to confront enemies' threats, and said, "Any US airbase whose airplanes can reach the Iranian airspace as well as their aircraft carriers can be targeted by Iran's unique high precision striking ballistic missiles and drones."

Iran has made huge progress in building different types of weapons and military equipment, including drones.

The Islamic Republic has so far unveiled various domestically produced drones, including Ababil, Fotros, Hazem, Karrar (long range attack drone), Mohajer, Sarir, Shahed 129, Yasir and Zohal.

A senior Iranian commander announced in October that the IRGC Ground Force is finalizing manufacture of a new homemade drone armed with the RPG (rocket-propelled grenade).

Commander of the IRGC Ground Forces Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said at the time that the combat drone would carry the RPG with no Backblast.

Pakpour also noted that the drone has passed the tests and will be completed in the near future.

Iran unveiled its first homemade fighter drone that carries air-to-air missiles last September.

The Iranian media outlets reported that the drone is capable of destroying all types of aircrafts including fighters, small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and helicopters.

The country unveiled its first domestically manufactured long-range UAV named Karrar in 2010. The first Iranian medium-altitude long-endurance UAV, the Shahed-129 was unveiled in September 2012, which is capable of carrying out combat and reconnaissance eight missions for 24 hours and has a range of 1,700 km.

The country also unveiled its largest yet homemade UAV, titled 'Fotros' in 2013. Fotros has a range of some 2,000 kilometers and is capable of launching air-to-surface missile strikes. The drone can fly at an altitude of 25,000 feet, with a flight time of 16 to 30 hours.

Iran started mass production of the "Yasir" UAV in September 2013. Yasir can fly at an altitude of 15,000 ft., be in flight for eight hours, cover the distance of 200 km, and does not need a runway. The UAV is equipped with light powerful modern cameras, and can precisely control the target.

Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh underlined in November that the country's capabilities in building different types of UAVs, and said the range of Iran-made drones has increased to 3,000km.

Hajizadeh referred to the country's first drone, Mohajer, and said, "Mohajer could fly 3,000km since the beginning."

"But today, the operational range of all the different types of (home-made) drones used for different missions has also increased to 3,000km which is means a major step in the self-sufficiency of our defense industries."

Also in November 2014, Hajizadeh announced that four Iran-made RQ-170 drones - manufactured through the reverse engineering of a similar American pilotless plane that was downed by Iran in 2011, would start operational flights by the end of the current Iranian year (ends March 20, 2015).

"We have plans to bring into operation, at least, four indigenized RQ-170 drones for missions by the end of this (Iranian) year (March 20)," Brigadier General Hajizadeh said after the state-run TV displayed the footages of the first flight of an Iran-made RQ-170 drone.

"We will not extradite the US RQ-170 drone since it is a (war) trophy, but if the US sanctions against Iran are lifted, maybe we will give the US an Iranian model of the drone," Hajizadeh added.

He said that the Iranian version of the RQ-170 has been built through a combination of the US designs and ideas and those of the Iranian experts. Hmmmm.....He forgot to say 'thanks Hussein'.

Hardcore Khamenei warns: “Enemy’s infiltration threatening Islamic Republic”

Hardcore Khamenei warns: “Enemy’s infiltration threatening Islamic Republic”. (Taz).

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that the “enemy’s infiltration is a major threat for the Islamic Republic”.

He made the remarks while addressing a number of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) commanders and staff in Tehran on Sept. 16.

Khamenei explained that the enemy is “global arrogance which the US is its complete embodiment”.
The enemy tries to infiltrate inside the country’s decision-making centers, Khamenei said, the leader’s official website reported.

However various Iranian authorities including IRGC powerfully close their path, he added.

The enemy tries to damage people’s beliefs and find ways for cultural penetration, Khamenei said, adding cultural, ideological and political infiltration is more dangerous than economic and security ones.

He also called on Iranian economic officials to be careful about the penetration of the Islamic Republic’s enemies in economic areas.

“Our vigilance will disappoint the enemy,” Khamenei stressed.

“Enemies promise that Iran will be totally different in 10 years, we must not allow such evil prospects and hopes shape in enemy’s mind,” the leader said referring to some statements following the historic nuclear deal between Tehran and the six world powers.

Khamenei further said that the Islamic Republic has never started any war and will not do that in the future, but the IRGC should be fully prepared to confront the permanent threats against the Islamic Revolution. Hmmm.....The 'moderates' are warned, $ thicker then religion?

'Moderate' Iranian President Rouhani to visit France.

'Moderate' Iranian President Rouhani to visit France. (Taz).

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls says Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has accepted an invitation by Paris to visit the European country, Press TV reported.

French President Francois Hollande will host Rouhani in November, Valls told the French parliament on Tuesday, AFP reported.

Valls also referred to the important role of Iran in the region, saying Tehran can play a positive role “in favor of a political solution” to the deadly conflict in Syria.

Syria has been facing a foreign-backed militancy – including by Takfiri terrorists – since 2011. The Takfiri militants, who currently control areas across Syria as well as northern and western Iraq, have been carrying out horrific acts of violence, including public decapitations, against Iraqi and Syrian communities such as Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, and Christians.

Meanwhile, reports say that an economic delegation from France is scheduled to visit Iran next week.
Back in July, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius visited Tehran and extended Paris’ invitation to Rouhani.

During his stay in Tehran, Fabius stated that France intends to boost bilateral ties with the Islamic Republic following the conclusion of nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries.

"With the new deal - the lifting of sanctions - France intends, if Iran is willing, to be more present in several areas... political, economic, cultural," he said. Hmmmm...........Amnesty International:
As of 15 July 2015, the Iranian authorities had officially acknowledged 246 executions this year but Amnesty International has received credible reports of a further 448 executions carried out in this time period. In 2014, 289 people were executed according to official sources but credible reports suggested that the real figure was at least 743.

CIA Director John Brennan acknowledges worried by Iran-North Korea nuclear ties.

CIA Director John Brennan acknowledges worried by Iran-North Korea nuclear ties. (NCRI).

The Iran nuclear deal is silent on an issue that the CIA and proliferation experts are concerned about: that Tehran may outsource parts of its nuclear and missiles program to the secretive regime in North Korea, which on Tuesday committed itself to producing more fuel for nuclear bombs, The Washington Times reported on Wednesday.

CIA Director John Brennan acknowledged Tuesday his agency is monitoring whether the regime in Iran may try to assist its clandestine nuclear program with help from another rogue state such as North Korea, or by colluding with Pyongyang toward the secret purchase and transfer of nuclear weapons for Tehran.

“We have to make sure that we’re doing whatever we can to uncover anything,” Mr. Brennan told a group of reporters in Austin, Texas. “I’m not saying that something is afoot at all — what I’m saying is that we need to be attuned to all of the potential pathways to acquiring different types of [weapons of mass destruction] capabilities.”

Experts say the deal worked out by U.S. Secretary of State John F. Kerry carries no known prohibition against North Korea performing the Iranian regime’s nuclear arms research, paid out of the $100 billion to $150 billion the deal frees up in Iranian assets.

While there is heated debate over the extent of collusion between Iran and North Korea, evidence of collaboration has piled up for years in public source information even as the Obama administration and the U.S. intelligence community remain mum about such reports.

According to The Washington Times, Mr. Niksch testified that the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), the largest opposition group to the hard-line Islamic state, reported that a delegation of North Korean missile and nuke experts visited Iran last May, the third such tour this year.

“Iranian money appears to be the lubricant for North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs,” he said. “The Iran nuclear agreement will increase Iran’s wealth considerably as U.N. economic sanctions are lifted and Iran receives at least $50 billion from the United States in frozen assets.”

The Washington Times reported on September 4 that the NCRI has released a new report claiming Iran's regime has been working with North Korean experts to deceive U.N. nuclear inspectors visiting suspect sites in Iran.

"Iran's clerical regime has been working on ways to conceal the military dimensions of its nuclear projects from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for some time and sought the advice and expertise of North Korean consultants to do so, according to the report from the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)," The Washington Times said.

The Washington Times said the NCRI is seen to have "deep sources inside Iran's nuclear community and its members are credited with having made game-changing revelations about Tehran's activities in the past."

"According to the latest report, a number of North Korean officials have set up shop in Tehran and remain there even after the signing of the nuclear agreement between the Islamic Republic and major world powers on July 14."

"The North Korean visitors 'have expertise in ballistic missile and nuclear work areas, particularly in the field of warheads and missile guidance,' the report reads."

"'Over the past two years the North Korean teams have been sharing their experiences and tactics necessary for preventing access to military nuclear sites,' NCRI added."

"The North Koreans reportedly instructed their Iranian counterparts on how to deny IAEA inspectors access to their nuclear sites and advised them to build tunnels and underground nuclear sites."
"Their presence in Tehran has been kept secret with the help of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps."

"The nuclear experts work in a guarded office building at the Hemmat complex and are transported to and from work in tinted-glass vehicles escorted by members of the terrorist-affiliated Quds force."

"In addition, the six-man North Korean team reportedly collaborates with Nouri Industries, which builds warheads for Shabab and Ghadr missiles. Nouri also works closely with a subdivision of the Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research, also known by its Farsi acronym SPND." Read the full story here.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) threatens to bring Israel recognition amendment into Iran debate.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) threatens to bring Israel recognition amendment into Iran debate.(TheHill).

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is warning Democrats that if they block a resolution disapproving the Iran nuclear deal, he will force a vote on a contentious amendment related to Israel and U.S. prisoners.

"I will file on an amendment that would prevent the president from lifting sanctions until Iran meets two simple benchmarks," McConnell said. "It must formally recognize Israel’s right to exist, and it must release the American citizens being held in Iranian custody."

A push by Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) to force a vote on requiring Iran to publicly recognize Israel effectively shut down the debate over the review bill earlier this year.

Separate amendments calling for Iran to release three Americans currently held in the country were also never allowed to come up for a vote. Democrats warned that the amendments were "poison pills" designed to kill the nuclear agreement.Read the full story here.

The US government has to do everything to prevent a Congress move against the Iran nuclear deal, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told reporters on the sidelines of a meeting with his Brazilian counterpart Mauro Vieira.

We stated from the very beginning that we consider the US government as responsible,” he said.

Zarif further stated that Iran will not forget the positive role that Brazil played in the Iranian nuclear case, IRNA news agency reported September 13.

Mauro for his part congratulated Iran on the conclusion of the nuclear negotiations and said his country welcomes the UN Security Council Resolution 2231.

After Iran and the group P5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) reached a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the country’s nuclear program on July 14, the UN Security Council recognized the deal with Resolution 2231 and arranged for the removal of previous resolutions which had imposed economic sanctions on the Islamic Republic.

Zarif also said Iran and Brazil are going to boost bilateral relations in coming months.
In another part of his speech Zarif said Iran will pursue President Hassan Rouhani’s initiative in forming a unified front against regional terrorism. Hmmmm..........Blasphemy laws coming soon, See tweets Below.
