Egyptian paper claims Muslim brotherhood 'godfather' Qaradawi and Youssef Nada, struggle to mend internal rift.

Egyptian paper claims Muslim brotherhood 'godfather' Qaradawi and Youssef Nada, struggle to mend internal rift. (EI).

Senior figures from the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood are struggling to preempt a possible breakdown of the 87-year old organization caused by a leadership struggle between its elders and youth.
Brotherhood sources have said that Youssef Nada, the organization’s former foreign affairs commissioner, and Youssef al-Qaradawi, a prominent group supporter and a Qatar-based preacher, are in talks with top leaders to mend the growing rift which has seen the younger cadres planning elections for the organization’s top board.
According to the sources, the pair is in contact with acting Supreme Guide Mahmoud Ezzat and the so-called, youth-led “Administrative Commission”, the latter which has called for allowing younger figures to lead the organization.
Ezzat, sources said, has rejected a dialogue with the youth front until it stops making statements in the organization’s name. He also demanded that the youth “hand over the media outlets it dominated over the past period”, referring to the Brotherhood website the younger leaders took over forcing the older guard to build their own website.

Meanwhile, Essam Tallima, a Brotherhood member, said the group is in need of a new by-law and Guidance Bureau. Hmmm........The MB slowly going ISIS style?

"The Strait Shooter" - The story of a secret meeting between Zawahiri, the main man in Al-Qaeda and Muhammad Morsi of Egypt in Pakistan.

"The Strait Shooter" - The story of a secret meeting between Zawahiri, the main man in Al-Qaeda and Muhammad Morsi of Egypt in Pakistan.HT: Shoebat.

By Walid Shoebat
Several Egyptian newspapers like Masr Al-Jadeeda, Al-Istiklal and Medan had published the story of a secret meeting between Ayman Zawahiri, the main man in Al-Qaeda and Muhammad Morsi of Egypt in Pakistan. Morsi – according to the reports – had secretly met with Ayman Zawahiri, the leader of the terrorist organization al-Qaeda and had promised to smuggle him back to Egypt.
Here is a link to the article.

The leak came from an investigative report by Bloch Pakistan Newspaper which stated that since Zawahiri had to travel to remain in hiding between Pakistan and Afghanistan, an agreement was reached in secret meetings that were leaked between high level officials in the Pakistani Intelligence (ISI). This was done to minimize the burden of security needed between the two nations; Pakistan was glad to allow Zawahiri to travel to Egypt with the aid of Morsi, who negotiated the terms.
The Pakistani source, which Elgdida quoted, adds that:
“…the meeting lasted 45 minutes, during which Egyptian president Muhammad Morsi promised to make preparations for Ayman Zawahiri to return soon to Egypt, indicating that some Muslim Brotherhood members would handle the operation, by first smuggling the al-Qaeda leader to a Gulf nation, likely Qatar, and then easily transferring him to Egypt—on condition that Zawahiri disappear lest he embarrass Egypt’s ruling Muslim Brotherhood with its American ally, whose security and intelligence agencies consider Zawahiri most wanted.”
Morsi is not the only Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood figurehead to meet Zawahiri. Daniel Pipes chronicled multiple instances of Tareq Ramadan, the grandson of the Muslim Brotherhood’s founder Hassan Al-Bana, in which Ramadan interacted with al-Qaeda operatives—including and like Morsi coordinated a meeting with al-Qaeda’s number two at the time, Ayman al-Zawahiri.Hmmmm........."Mr. Obama told aides that he considered Mr. Morsi a straight shooter who delivered on what he promised and did not promise what he could not deliver."Read the full story here.

"Muslim Brotherhood Den" Qatar's emir opens fund for Jerusalem’s Arab identity.

"Muslim Brotherhood Den" Qatar's emir opens fund for Jerusalem’s Arab identity.(TOI).DOHA, Qatar (AP) — As Syrian opposition representatives took the country’s seat for the first time at an Arab League summit that opened in Qatar on Tuesday, the emir of Qatar proposed creating a $1 billion fund for the defense of Jerusalem’s Arab identity.

The emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, said Qatar would contribute $250 million to the fund, adding that he expects other Arab nations to come up with the rest.

The Palestinian, Arab and Muslim rights in Jerusalem are not negotiable and Israel must realize this,” said Sheikh Hamad, who presides over a tiny but super-rich nation that is assuming a growing regional role.

At the summit, the emir also proposed a “mini” Arab summit in Egypt to negotiate reconciliation between rival Palestinian factions.

Sheikh Hamad suggested a summit to reconcile between the Western-backed Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah movement that controls the West Bank and the militant Hamas group, which rules the Gaza Strip.

He said the proposed summit would remain in session until an agreement is reached, including a timetable for the creation of a transitional government to oversee legislative and presidential elections.Hmmmm......"Israel's Staunchest Ally" Obama adim was allowing Qatar to arm Islamist militant groups.......'By peace he will deceive many'.Read the full story here.

US confirms possible release of Taliban from Gitmo as 'arranged' with Muslim Brotherhood spiritual guide Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

23 Jan 2012 – The Taliban execute 15 Pakistani Army soldiers.

Flashback Jan 18 th- The Obama administration is considering releasing five top Taliban jihadists from custody at Guantanamo Bay in hopes of negotiating a peace agreement with the Afghan terrorist movement. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said last week that administration is in "the preliminary stages" of testing whether talks with the Taliban can succeed.Hmmmm........Huma Abedin has a brother named Hassan Abedin who works at Oxford University. What is significant is that Oxford University, which has long been infiltrated by Islamists who founded the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS), has Huma's brother listed as a fellow and partners with a number of Muslim Brotherhood memberson the Board, including al-Qaeda associate, Omar Naseef and the notorious Muslim Brotherhood leader Sheikh Youssef Qaradawi; both have been listed as OCIS Trustees.

According to a recent report in The Hindu, radical Islamist cleric and Muslim Brotherhood spiritual guide Yusuf al-Qaradawi has served as a "key mediator" in U.S.-Taliban negotiations.Earlier this month, reports indicated that Washington had agreed to transfer the five Taliban leaders from U.S. custody to Afghan President Hamid Karzai's government.
At some point, they could be set free.

Another report indicated the jihadists would be transferred to Qatar, a nation with a poor record on combating terrorism and a suspected link to the 9/11 attacks.

Earlier this month, the sources said, Mr. al-Qaradawi helped draw a road map for a deal between the Taliban and the United States, aimed at giving the superpower a face-saving political settlement ahead of its planned withdrawal from Afghanistan which is due to begin in 2014.
In return for the release of prisoners still held by the United States at Guantanamo Bay, the lifting of United Nations sanctions on its leadership and its recognition as a legitimate political group, the Taliban was expected to agree to sever its links to transnational organisations like al-Qaeda, end violence and eventually share power with the Afghan government.
Egyptian-born Mr. al-Qaradawi is seen by both the United States and the Taliban traditionalists as an ally in the battle against the growing influence of this new generation of commanders. Expelled from his homeland for his Islamist views, he has emerged over the last year as ideological pole star of the Muslim Brotherhood — now West Asia's most influential political movement. Thanks to whom?

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. intelligence officials acknowledged Tuesday that the United States may release several Afghan Taliban prisoners from the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, as an incentive to bring the Taliban to peace talks.
Director of National Intelligence Jim Clapper told Congress Tuesday that no decision had been made on whether to trade the five Taliban prisoners, now held at Guantanamo Bay as part of nascent peace talks with the Taliban. He and CIA Director David Petraeus did not dispute that the Obama administration is considering transferring the five to a third country.
U.S. officials and others had previously spoken only vaguely, and usually anonymously, about the proposal to send the prisoners to Qatar, a Persian Gulf country that has asserted a central role in framing talks that might end the 10-year war in Afghanistan. The lead U.S. negotiator trying to coax the Taliban into talks had also publicly acknowledged the possibility of a release, but said there was no final decision.
The prisoners proposed for transfer include some of the detainees brought to Guantanamo during the initial days and weeks of the U.S. invasion that toppled the Taliban government in Afghanistan in 2001. At least one has been accused in the massacre of thousands of Shiite Muslims in Afghanistan, according to U.S. and other assessments, but none are accused of directly killing Americans.Read the full story here.

Top Obama administration officials briefed eight senior Senate leaders Tuesday on a pending deal to transfer as many as five Taliban prisoners from the U.S. detention facility at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, to Qatar.
The Cable staked out the classified briefing in the basement of the Capitol building Tuesday afternoon. The eight senators who attended the briefing were Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Senate Intelligence Committee heads Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Saxby Chambliss (R-GA), Senate Armed Services chiefs Carl Levin (D-MI) and John McCain (R-AZ), and Senate Foreign Relations Committee leaders John Kerry (D-MA) and Richard Lugar (R-IN).
The identities of the administration briefers were not shared, but we were told it was a high-level interagency briefing team.
U.S. officials have pledged to consult with Congress about any release, which was not enough to persuade Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga."I want to state publicly as strong as I can that we should not transfer these detainees from Guantanamo," Chambliss told the intelligence agency heads.

Taliban negotiators meet with U.S. officials in Qatar to discuss initial steps: report.(AlArabiya).Taliban negotiators have begun meeting with U.S. officials in Qatar, where they are discussing preliminary trust-building measures aimed at ending the war in Afghanistan, The New York Times reported Sunday. Citing several former Taliban officials, the newspaper said these measures included a possible prisoner transfer. The Afghan government is expecting a delegation from the Qatar government to visit Kabul to explain its role in the talks, said High Peace Council secretary Aminundin Muzaffari. The former officials said that four to eight Taliban representatives had traveled to Qatar from Pakistan to set up a political office for the exiled Afghan insurgent group, the report said. The comments suggested that the Taliban, who have not publicly said they would engage in peace talks to end the war in Afghanistan, were gearing up for preliminary discussions, the paper said.U.S. officials would not deny that meetings had taken place, and the discussions seemed to have at least the tacit approval of Pakistan, which has thwarted previous efforts by the Taliban to engage in talks, The Times noted.Khar told Reuters on January 19 that Pakistan’s ties with the United States remain on hold after a NATO cross-border air attack and that Washington should not push Islamabad to go after militant groups or bring them to the Afghan peace process.Hmmmmmm.......U.S. May Release Senior Taliban Terrorists, i don't need Congress to rule.

Report: U.S. to Release Three Taliban Leaders from Guantanamo Bay, as in Muslim Brotherhood Sheikh Youssef Qaradawi plan.

Muslim Brotherhood leader Sheikh Youssef Qaradawi.

Radical Islamist cleric and longtime Muslim Brotherhood spiritual guide Yusuf al-Qaradawi serves as a "key mediator in secret talks between the U.S. and the Taliban," according to unnamed government sources referenced in a report published late Wednesday in The Hindu.
In early December, the report said, "Qaradawi helped draw a road map for a deal between the Taliban and the United States, aimed at giving the superpower a face-saving political settlement ahead of its planned withdrawal from Afghanistan." The United States is expected to begin pulling out of Afghanistan in 2014.
The Qaradawi-brokered deal calls for significant American commitments, including "the release of prisoners still held by the United States at Guantanamo Bay, the lifting of United Nations sanctions on its leadership and its recognition as a legitimate political group." In return, the Hindu's sources say, the Taliban would be "expected to sever its links to transnational organisations like al-Qaeda, end violence and eventually share power with the Afghan government."

Qaradawi repeatedly has lashed out against Jews, glorifying violence against them and calling for Allah to "count their numbers, and kill them, down to the very last one." In 2009, he prayed for the chance to kill a Jew before dying. He has readily encouraged suicide bombing as "the greatest of all sorts of Jihad in the Cause of Allah." And, perhaps most troubling when considering the nature of the talks, Qaradawi actively supported the killing of U.S. servicemen and women, writing in 2003:
"Those killed fighting the American forces are martyrs given their good intentions since they consider these invading troops an enemy within their territories but without their will…Although they are seen by some as being wrong, those defending against attempts to control Islamic countries have the intention of Jihad and bear a spirit of the defense of their homeland."
None of this should come as a surprise to U.S. officials. In September, Wikileaks released U.S. diplomatic cables showing, among other things, the government's awareness of the Doha-based cleric's support for "martyrdom operations" and the Iraqi insurgency.Source.

This story makes one wonder if Vice President Biden’s remark that “the Taliban is not our enemy” was really a gaffe after all. (BigPeace). If “the opening of a Taliban office” in Afghanistan really is on the table, what role does the Obama Administration envision for this totalitarian, misogynist political force in the country after the United States withdraws its troops?
From PressTV, Iran’s state news service:
The United States is set to release several Taliban leaders from the Guantanamo Bay prison after Washington struck a deal with the militant group agreeing to their opening of an office in Qatar.
Former Taliban Interior Minister Mullah Khair Khowa and senior Taliban military commander Noorullah Noori are among the Taliban officials, The Guardian reported on Tuesday. The US may release “high-risk detainee” and former Taliban Deputy Defense Minister Mohammed Fazl, held at Guantanamo since 2002, but hand him over to Qatar, the newspaper said.Fazl was allegedly involved in the massacre of thousands of Afghan Shia Muslims between 1998 and 2001.The report comes after the Taliban announced earlier on Tuesday that it would open a liaison office in Qatar to conduct negotiations with the “international community.”“We have reached a preliminary understanding with relevant sides, including the government of Qatar, to have a political office for negotiations with the international community,” Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said.According to the report, secret talks between American and Taliban officials over the opening of a Taliban office and the release of prisoners have been underway for more than a year in Germany and Qatar.

Hmmmm..................Muslim Brotherhood leader Sheikh Youssef Qaradawi arranged the deal between the Obama regime and the Taliban, ok lets look at the rest of the picture:
Huma Abedin has a brother named Hassan Abedin who works at Oxford University. What is significant is that Oxford University, which has long been infiltrated by Islamists who founded the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS), has Huma's brother listed as a fellow and partners with a number of Muslim Brotherhood members on the Board, including al-Qaeda associate, Omar Naseef and the notorious Muslim Brotherhood leader Sheikh Youssef Qaradawi; both have been listed as OCIS Trustees.Naseef continues to serve as Board Chairman.
In 2009, Qaradawi's role within Oxford and the Muslim Brotherhood was championed by the notorious Sheikh Rached Ghannouchi of Al-Nahda – a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate now active in Tunisia. OCIS has even presented an award for great scholarly achievement to Brotherhood member Shaykh Abd Al-Fattah Abu Gudda, whose personal history goes back to the Brotherhood's founder, Hasan al-Banna.(Even the Sunday Times acknowledges that the cradle of Islamic Jihad – Al-Azhar University – actively attempts to establish links with OCIS, where Huma's brother serves.)
In 2004, Qaradawi turned down the offer to lead the Egyptian Brotherhood after the death of the Supreme Guide. Based in Qatar, Sheikh Qaradawi has reportedly amassed substantial wealth through his role as Shari’ah adviser to many important Islamic banks and funds. He is also considered to be the "spiritual guide" for Hamas and his fatwas in support of suicide bombings against Israeli citizens were instrumental in the development of the phenomenon. Qaradawi is also known to be a leader of a charity coalition known as the Union of Good, described in a NEFA Foundation report as "a coalition of Islamic charities that provides financial support to both the Hamas "social" infrastructure, as well as its terrorist activities. "
It should also be noted that previous posts have extensively discussed the relationship of Al-Jazeera and its management to the global Muslim Brotherhood. Al-Jazeera is headquartered in Qatar.

It is interesting to note that the headquarters of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), completed in 1983, was funded by $21 million raised from Brotherhood figures Youssef Qaradawi and Youssef Nada as well as the emir of Qatar.
And now the Taliban has an 'office' in Qatar. We just went full circle!
How deep is this 'administration' infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood?Read the full story here. More on the "infiltration' here.
