"Riyadh and (Wahhabi) Salafism are a danger to Islam and the world" former radicalized Muslima says.

"Riyadh and (Wahhabi) Salafism are a danger to Islam and the world" former radicalized Muslima says. (AN).

Salafist Wahhabism is a "new, false religion" that pushes to "hate the infidel", although at the base of every faith "there should be a rapprochement between human beings," writes Henda Ayari, a 39-year-old Franco-Tunisian who was linked to radical Islam for many years. After a long period of reflection, she is still a faithful Muslim but has abandoned the fundamentalist ideology because of its mistakes, abuses, and violence.

In an autobiographical book titled ‘J'ai choisi d'ĂȘtre libre’ (I chose to be free), Henda Ayari talks about her journey away from the radical vision of Islam, during which she lost every freedom for a long period of her life.

She encountered the Salafist ideology at the age of 21 when she married a fanatical French Muslim. For more than a decade she lived covered from head to toe subjected to the authority of an ever more violent husband.

In her reflections about Islam, she attacks Saudi Arabia as the leading proponent of a radical vision of the Muslim faith. A vision that is political and economic, even before it is cultural, one that is promoted by the royal family that rules in Riyadh to keep its supremacy among Muhammad’s followers.

"At 20 I was young and Salafist," Henda Ayari says. "At 39 I am a free Muslim woman." And to those who seem not to understand her message, she wishes to show the two different images that accompany the article: before and after, the years of Wahhabi strictness and the subsequent emancipation, without denying her faith. Henda Ayari’s reflections follow. Translation by AsiaNews:

Why I left Salafism:
I left Salafism because it is a danger to the Muslim world and to the rest of mankind!
After having being immersed in Salafism for a long time, I decided to reject totally this ideology, from the day I understood the real danger of this doctrine and the important threat that hovered under the attractive aspects of this "new and false religion" for Muslims.

I have spent many years (more than 20) trying to understand that in reality Salafism is a very dangerous sectarian ideology, which aims to divide and foster communalism and hatred among peoples!

During the years I lived in Salafism, I have attended conferences of Salafist scholars, in France, and in other countries like Saudi Arabia. I have read many books and gone through hundreds of pages, of texts written by their false scholars, and I became everything that I did not want to be, an intolerant and hateful person against those who were different from me as have many Muslims without even realising it, since we fall unknowingly and almost unconsciously under the influence of one of the most dangerous sects in the world. . . after the Jehovah’s Witnesses and many other sects . . .

To simplify, in this new false religion, we are driven to hate the "unbeliever" whilst, at its basis, a religion should serve to bring people together, respect all creatures, and live in peace and harmony.

After several years of reflection and research, I was able to document myself, through long hours of research.  For months, and years, I found enough evidence that pushed me to reject totally Salafist ideology, which I would rather describe as Wahhabi Salafism.

I take total responsibility for my choice today and I have decided to tell my view on this subject, claiming to be "a repentant of Salafism" with all due respect to my opponents!

It is a long topic that cannot be explained in a single text, but for those who are interested here is an explanation:

What is the relationship between Salafism and Saudi Arabia?

I can say that Saudi Arabia is the main sponsor of the hateful Wahhabi ideology against the Western world and non-Muslims. . .

The Wahhabi Salafist ideology is a serious threat to peace between peoples. It is an ideology on which terrorists rely.

More and more converts around the world follow this ideology, when they are freshly converted, more easily manipulated, and more sensitive to toxic messages and the hateful ideology imposed in this doctrine. This explains why many young converts are turning to terrorism. They idealise religion more easily, which is why they consider the Islamic State as a new Eldorado . . .

For Wahhabi Salafists:

Tolerant Muslims are apostates, each non-Muslim is a "disbeliever" and therefore an enemy of Muslims who must be fought. Those who claim to be Salafist quietists are just as dangerous as those who openly embrace jihadism, because they are in fact propagators of hatred and division.

In society, they organise themselves in order to move as far away as possible from society and non-Muslims so as to live among themselves, whilst taking advantage of the social assistance provided by governments and a Republic they hate. . . Despite the fact that Salafism imposes Hijrah (emigration) to the land of Islam, many choose to live in Western countries such as France where they find certain "social" benefits whilst claiming to live according to the ‘Sunnah’ (i.e. following the ancient tradition of the Prophet) under the protection of freedom and democracy (e.g. including the demand for communal activities, segregated swimming pools for women, etc.)

Their main objective is to live as in ancient times, like during the age of the prophet, following the Sunnah and the texts inspired by Wahhabi "scholars".

These "scholars" were able to allow the House of Saud to establish itself in power, thanks to many "fatwas", i.e. religious edicts issued by themselves, imposing their rules in the Saudi kingdom as well as in the whole world . . .

The Saudis are primarily responsible for the international spread of a religious ideology that explicitly promotes hatred, intolerance, and other violations of human rights and, in some cases, violence against members of other religious groups, both Muslim and non-Muslim.

For decades, Saudi Arabia has injected billions of petrodollars into Islamic organisations around the world. One of Riyadh’s priorities is to spread a fanatical version of Sunni Islam and fight against the spread of Shia Islam from its worst enemy, Iran.

Saudi authorities have set up a whole system of influence that is financed with petrodollars. Riyadh provides financial means to preachers abroad, builds mosques, schools, centres, and supports campaigns to counter officials and media abroad that are likely to oppose the Kingdom's agenda.
In one of the many leaflets they distribute to spread their doctrine throughout the world, one can read the words of a senior religious leader:

"Do not associate with infidels, hate them for their religion, leave them, never rely on them for help, do not admire them, and always oppose them by every mean in accordance with Islamic law.

The advice is categorical: Anyone who helps infidels against Muslims, whatever the type of support provided, is himself an unbeliever. For them, Western countries, like America, France . . . are the ‘Abode of the infidels’, i.e. Christians and Jews!

Wahhabi Salafists push towards a form of Nazism that inspires and promotes hatred of Jews, using the Palestinian cause, a cause that they do not really defend themselves.

In some Wahhabi Salafist books – for example, the short leaflet with the greetings of the Cultural Service of the Saudi Embassy in Washington, (published by the Government of Saudi Arabia) or in other books, like the manuals by the Saudi Education Ministry, collections of fatwas, religious decrees . . . issued by the government’s religious bureau, or those published by other Riyadh-based organisations – one finds detailed instructions on how to behave as a Muslim.

One reads about ways to push every Muslim to build a "wall of resentment" between Muslims and infidels:

"Never greet Christians or Jews first, never pass on best wishes to the unbeliever on his holidays, never befriend an infidel except to convert him, never imitate the infidels, never work for an infidel, do not wear a graduation gown because it is imitating the infidels." In another book, one can read that if relations between Muslims and non-Muslims were harmonious, there would be no more "loyalty, nor enmity, no more jihad nor struggle to elevate Allah's work on earth."

These texts fill libraries, study rooms, mosques, bookstores, all over the world, and in France they have done terrible damage to the minds of many Muslims.

Not all books in these mosques espouse extremism, and not all extremist works are Saudi. But Saudi Arabia remains by far the state responsible for most of the publications conveying an ideology of hatred against disbelievers who populate non-Muslim countries.

These texts demonstrate Muslims’ indoctrination in the bellicose and hostile ideology of the radical Wahhabi Salafist sect of Saudi Arabia. Saudis must be Muslim, and the Saudi government, in collaboration with the country’s religious establishment, imposes Wahhabism as the official doctrine of the State.

The Wahhabism that the Saudi monarchy applies, and on which its legitimacy is based, presents itself as a fanatically sectarian, xenophobic and sometimes violent ideology. Their texts articulate a wrathful dogma that rejects the coexistence of different religions and explicitly condemns Christians, Jews, all other non-Muslims, as well as non-Wahhabi Muslims.

The analysis of all religious texts by Wahhabi Salafists shows that it is a religious obligation for Muslims to hate Christians and Jews. They warn against imitating "infidels", establishing bonds of friendship with them or helping them in any way whatsoever, and participating in their festivities and celebrations.

They inculcate contempt for non-Muslim states, because these countries are governed by civil laws rather than Wahhabi-style totalitarian Islamic laws. Some texts order Muslims not to take the citizenship of these countries as long as these countries are governed by infidels. They even advise their followers to work for the creation of an Islamic state.

The time has come to fight this devastating doctrine and affirm the principles of freedom and human rights against Saudi Wahhabism as well as confront directly the teachings of this hateful ideology. . .

Hmmm......To confirm her story, i quote a Salafi Sheik here below: (Source)

Salafi-jihadi sheikh Abu Mundhir Al-Shinqiti said: "Sheikh Hazem [Abu Isma'il] will never be able to implement Allah's shari'a by means of these elections that perpetuate democracy, and I believe that many of the sheikhs who ruled [that people must] vote for him would agree with us that democracy and Islam are incompatible."

Democracy Stipulates that Man Is Above Allah – Which Is Blatant Heresy; However, Adopting Some of the Mechanisms that Democracy Uses Is Not Heresy "Democracy has two [main] components.

[The component] that defines it as an ideology, religion and philosophy stipulates that man is above Allah and that his will and power supersede the will and power of Allah... This is the main and most important component [of democracy], and it is blatant heresy.

'Wahhabism Even More Evil than Israel': Hezbollah leader Nasrallah

'Wahhabism Even More Evil than Israel': Hezbollah leader Nasrallah. (IFPNews).

Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Hezbollah, made the remark during his annual meeting with Muslim eulogists and the people responsible for commemoration ceremonies during the Lunar month of Muharram, Lebanon’s Al Akhbar newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The Hezbollah chief said he considered Wahhabism to be responsible for damaging Islam’s image worldwide. “Wahhabism is more evil than Israel, especially [in] that it seeks to destroy others and eliminate whatever thing that has to do with Islam and its history,” he said.

Not a Shia, Sunni matter.

This project was launched in 2011, and it not a Shia and Sunni matter. The role played by spy services is completely evident here. We should use this opportunity to pin Wahhabism down and deal a blow to it,” he added.

The existent conflict, Nasrallah said, was not between Shias and Sunnis, but with Wahhabism.
Wahhabism is the radical ideology dominating Saudi Arabia, freely preached by government-backed clerics there, and inspiring terrorists worldwide.

Daesh and other Takfiri terror groups use the ideology to declare people of other faiths as “infidels” and then kill them.

Nasrallah also said what posed a yet bigger threat than Wahhabism and Zionism was “British Shiism,” which, he said, was being promoted by pseudo-religious figures, whom he called mercenaries of intelligence services.

Hezbollah has been crucial to keeping Wahhabi terrorism out of Lebanon, while helping neighboring Syria in holding back the scourge, too.

The Hezbollah chief said Saudi Arabia had escalated tensions to a climax and was trying, with the help of the US and Britain, to portray conflicts as sectarian.

Referring to the Syrian conflict, he said there were no “moderate” armed groups in Syria, warning that all those fighting Damascus were either working with Daesh or al-Nusra, which has recently renamed itself.

Nasrallah also said he saw no prospect for a political solution for the Syrian conflict. “Developments on the [battle] ground will ultimately determine [the outcome],” he said matter-of-factly.

Syria has been fighting a foreign-backed militancy since March 2011. Hezbollah fighters have been assisting Syrian government forces fighting back the militants, including Daesh and other dangerous groups.

'Heretics' - World's leading Sunni clerics declare 'Wahhabism is not Sunnism'.

'Heretics' - World's leading Sunni clerics declare 'Wahhabism is not Sunnism'. (RT).

At the end of August, a meeting of Muslim clerics and scholars convened in the Chechen capital of Grozny to forge a consensus on the subject of ‘who constitutes a Sunni.’

Sunnism, the 200 or so Sunni clerics from Egypt, South Africa, India, Europe, Turkey, Jordan, Yemen, Russia warned, has undergone a dangerous deformation in the wake of efforts by extremists to void its sense in order to take it over and reduce it to their perception.”

The Muslim world is currently under a siege of terror, led by a deviant strain that claims religious authority and kills in the name of Islam.
So the Grozny participants had gathered, by invitation of the Chechen president, to make “a radical change in order to re-establish the true meaning of Sunnism.”
If their final communique was any indicator, the group of distinguished scholars had a very particular message for the Muslim world: Wahhabism - and its associated takfirism - are no longer welcome within the Sunni fold.

Specifically, the conference’s closing statement says this: “Ash’arites and the Maturidi are the people of Sunnism and those who belong to the Sunni community, both at the level of the doctrine and of the four schools of Sunni jurisprudence (Hanafi, Hanbali, Shafi’i, Maliki), as well as Sufis, both in terms of knowledge and moral ethics."

In one fell swoop, Wahhabism, the official state religion of only two Muslim countries -Saudi Arabia and Qatar - was not part of the majority Muslim agenda any longer.

The backlash from the Saudis came hard and fast, honing in on the participation of Egypt’s Grand Imam Ahmed al-Tayeb of Al Azhar, the foremost center for Sunni theological study in the Islamic world.

Saudi Arabia has, after all, subsidized the flailing Egyptian economy to the tune of billions of dollars in the past few years, alongside its Wahhabi neighbor Qatar, which has in turn bank-rolled the Muslim Brotherhood – a group also excluded from the Grozny meeting.

While Tayeb did not single out the Saudis in his conference speech, his elevated position in the global Sunni hierarchy lent a great deal of weight to the proceedings. And Al Azhar’s prominence in the Sunni world is rivaled only by the relatively new role of the Al Saud monarch as the custodian of the two holy sites, Mecca and Medina.

Just last year – in Mecca, no less - Tayeb slammed extremist trends during a speech on terrorism, lashing out at “corrupt interpretations” of religious texts and appealing to believers “to tackle in our schools and universities this tendency to accuse Muslims of being unbelievers.”

It is Wahhabism that is most often accused of sponsoring this trend globally.

The radical sect, borne in the 18th century, deviates from traditional Sunni doctrine in various ways, most notably sanctioning violence against nonbelievers - including Muslims who reject Wahhabi interpretation (takfirism).

Saudi Arabia is the single largest state contributor to tens of thousands of Wahhabi-influenced mosques, schools, clerics and Islamic publications scattered throughout the Muslim world – many of them, today, feeders for terrorist recruitment. By some accounts that figure has reached almost $100 billion in the last three decades or so.

In Grozny, conference participants made reference to this dangerous trend, and called for a “return to the schools of great knowledge" outside Saudi Arabia – in Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Yemen.

Saudi officialdom took to social media to express their outrage. Saudi royal, Prince Khalid al-Saud, warned that the event represented a conspiracy that openly targets our country and it's religious standing, specifically.” Hmmm..........Could be a good start. Read the full story here.

Big trouble brewing in Saudi Arabian Royal clan?

Big trouble brewing in Saudi Arabian Royal clan? (FR24).

A power struggle is emerging between Saudi Arabia's two most powerful princes, analysts and diplomats say, as the secretive kingdom confronts some of its biggest challenges in years.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, the king's 56-year-old nephew, is first in line to the throne but Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, believed to be about 30, is Salman's son and a rising power.

Mohammed bin Nayef is interior minister while Mohammed bin Salman runs the defence ministry, and their growing rivalry is making itself felt, experts say.

In the months since, the younger Mohammed bin Salman has moved to shore up his power, analysts say.

"A lot of people see this as a kind of a coup... that it's one faction taking power for itself," says Stephane Lacroix, a specialist in Saudi Arabia at Sciences Po university in Paris.

Moqren's case shows that "this position of deputy crown prince is a bit precarious," and helps explain why Mohammed bin Salman has been reinforcing his position, a Western diplomat says.

In addition to being defence minister, Mohammed bin Salman heads the kingdom's main economic coordinating council as well as a body overseeing Saudi Aramco, the state oil company in the world's biggest petroleum exporter.

"Mohammed bin Salman is clearly amassing extraordinary power and influence very quickly. This is bound to unsettle his rivals," Wehrey says.

The deputy crown prince "has this need to structure his position to become, at the moment his father dies, irreplaceable" because he has no assurances of how Mohammed bin Nayef, as king, would treat him, another foreign diplomat says.

Mohammed bin Salman, who has a close relationship with his father, has been "acting as if he was the heir apparent, so this obviously creates tensions," Lacroix says.

But there has not been a broader move against the interior minister, who is widely respected abroad for having led Saudi efforts against Al-Qaeda and other jihadists.

"I think they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they cut Mohammed bin Nayef out," the Western diplomat says.

"He's well-respected. He's the one guy in the West who is trusted, particularly on counter-terrorism."

The crown prince has the loyalty of interior ministry forces, and most members of the royal family would support his ultimate rise to the throne as "something normal," the other diplomat says.

For now, analysts and diplomats say, the rivalry appears contained and there is little chance that the House of Saud will implode.

"People have been writing off the al-Saud for a long time for various reasons," the Western diplomat says. "They're still here... still an island of stability in the Middle East." Hmmm....The Saudis 'Island of peace and stability' LOL. Read the full story here.

Indian Scholar: 'Examines Influence Of 14th Century Islamic Jurist Ibn Taymiyyah'

Indian Scholar Ghulam Rasool Dehlvi Examines Influence Of 14th Century Islamic Jurist Ibn Taymiyyah: 'Taymiyyah Propounded A Complete Islamic Theology Of Radicalism, Religious Exclusivism, Violent Extremism And Puritanical Fundamentalism' HT: Memri.

In the years after the 9/11 attacks, the teachings of 14th century Islamic jurist Ibn Taymiyyah have been propagated by jihadi groups in order to advance their cause. In a recent article, Indian Islamic scholar Ghulam Rasool Dehlvi examined how the teachings of Ibn Taymiyyah spread in India through the writings of Ibn Wahhab, the founder of Wahhabism.

The article, titled "How Did The Extremist, Supremacist, Xenophobic And Violent Theology Of Ibn Taymiyya And Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab Spread In India", was published in Urdu and English by the Indian website NewageIslam.com, which advances a pluralist view of Islam.

Ghulam Rasool Dehlvi is a classical Islamic scholar who graduated from Jamia Amjadia Rizvia, a leading Islamic seminary based in the northern Indian town of Mau in Uttar Pradesh state. Dehlvi also holds a Diploma in Koranic Arabic from Al-Jamiat-ul-Islamia, which is based in the town of Faizabad, and is an M.A. student in comparative religions at the Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi.

"With An Aim To Purge Islam Of The Later Customs And Accretions, He [Ibn Taymiyyah] Also Forbade Greek Philosophy, Aristotelian Logic And Speculative Thinking, As Is Laid Out In His Book Minhaj al-Sunnah"

"The 14th century Islamic scholar Taqi al-Din Ibn Taymiyyah propounded a complete Islamic theology of radicalism, religious exclusivism, violent extremism and puritanical fundamentalism.

He was vehemently opposed to the pluralistic and multicultural Islam that was being preached by the Islamic mystics and Sufi saints at that time, declaring them misguided Muslims indulging in shirk and bid'ah (polytheism and innovation) and fitnah and fasad (religious corruption). Erdogan: Military Coup against Mursi Result of Al Saud’s Treachery.

Erdogan: Military Coup against Mursi Result of Al Saud’s Treachery.(Fars).
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan described the recent power transfer in Egypt a military coup sponsored by Saudi Arabia and an unforgivable treachery by the Wahhabi rulers in Riyadh.
"The Turkish prime minister made the remarks in a meeting on August 13 attended by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Interior Minister Muammer Guler, National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz, and Head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Hakan Fidan," one of the aides present at the meeting told FNA.

This act of treason by the Wahhabi rulers of Saudi Arabia is a poisonous and unfair sword used against the Muslim World which made Turkey’s plans for the Middle East to fall flat,” Erdogan said at the meeting according to the source, who asked to remain anonymous due to the confidential nature of his information.

"The Turkish foreign minister called on his political and security teams to prepare a list of activities which can make Saudi Arabia withdraw from its policies in Egypt and present them in the upcoming meetings with Erdogan," the source added.

Earlier this month, Erdogan claimed that Israel was behind the July 3 military coup in Egypt, adding that Ankara has evidence as to Israel’s involvement in President Mohamed Mursi’s overthrow.
“Now the West starts to say democracy is not the ballot box or not only the box but we know that the ballot box is the people’s will,” Erdogan said on August 20 at an expanded meeting of the provincial chairs of his ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Hurriyet Daily News reported.

Erdogan also criticized Persian Gulf countries that have provided financial aid to Egypt's military government, asking them whether they had ever given such support to the African Muslim countries.
We know that there are rich people in the Islamic world, but we also know that there are poor people in need of alms. It is those rich of the Islamic world who have supported dictators,” he said.

New Qatari Emir Warmly Welcomes Muslim Brotherhood 'Godfather' Sheik Yusuf Qaradawi.

New Qatari Emir Warmly Welcomes Muslim Brotherhood 'Godfather' Sheik Yusuf Qaradawi.HT: GMR.
Manama: The old man was assisted by an aide as he walked up to the former and new emirs of Qatar to offer his congratulations on the peaceful transition at the top of the state and the hand-over of power. The Emiri Court in Doha was filled with well-wishers, but Shaikh Yousuf Al Qaradawi was taken directly to Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and Shaikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the outgoing emir and the new emir.
The father promptly moved forward and kissed the frail-looking man in a gesture that indicated the deep trust the two men have developed over the years. The scholar then moved to the son, 33, the youngest ruler of an Arab country. Shaikh Tamim planted a kiss on Al Qaradawi’s head and then his shoulder.

The images beamed live on state television immediately sparked a lively debate on social media and microblogs and questions abounded on the meaning of the gesture.
Al Qaradawi is not a regular religious scholar or a simple Friday mosque preacher.
Over the years, the Egyptian-born cleric has acquired a special status on religious, social, economic and political ideas and talks.
Doha-based Al Jazeera channel, the most viewed station in the Arab world, helped take him into the homes of millions of viewers, particularly through a weekly one-hour-long talk show in which he shared views and offered advice.
As a prominent supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, he helped propagate their ideology and views on everything and, mainly in the last two years, on political matters.

The kiss by Shaikh Tamim as he was congratulated on his accession to power in the peninsular country once more became an occasion for many to draw conclusions and indulge in interpretations.“Al Qaradawi is set to influence the new emir the way he did with the father,” Mohammad Sultan, an accountant, said. “The power of the Muslim Brotherhood is set to be strengthened in Qatar and will help fuel suspicions in other Arab countries.”
However, Ahmad Dossary, an office clerk, said that “the kiss was a matter of respect for a religious scholar, just like a salute is for a military man”.
Abu Majed, a Qatari national, said that Qataris respected Muslim scholars, especially the ones whose ideas they espouse.
They say that we are Wahabis and reactionaries in our religious and social views, so be it,” he said. “We do like our way of life and we try to be fair to everyone. We have not changed and we do venerate our teachers, particularly those who spread Islam and Islamic values. Shaikh Tamim simply showed that he respected the man and thanked him for braving old age and physical pressure to pay his respect and show his support,” he said.
Abdullah, a Qatari businessman, said that Shaikh Tamim followed his father’s footsteps.

“The father was ostensible in paying his respects and the son duly followed,” he said. “This is part of our culture of respect for the father and for scholars, and everyone knows that Shaikh Tamim was groomed for such social roles. Maybe some people thought that Qatar would change course quickly with the son taking over, but it is obvious they do not know our culture well enough. Maybe Shaikh Tamim, by showing his respect, wanted to dismiss publicly the reports that emerged in some countries that he had stripped Al Qaradawi of his Qatari nationality and given him 48 hours to leave Doha,” he said.Read the full story here.

Qaradawi has made frequent extremist statements including:
  • Predicting that Islam will conquer Europe through peaceful means.
  • Calling Hitler a divine punishment for the “misdeeds of the Jews” and that the Holocaust was exaggerated.
  • Saying that he wants to end his life “in the service of Jihad” by visiting Israel and throwing a bomb, becoming a “martyr” in the process
  • Calling for the death of all Jews.
  • Calling for attacks on US troops and civilians in Iraq along with Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hizbullah.
  • Calling for the collapse of the US if it doesn’t end its “unjust ways.”
MEMRI has produced two video compilations of Qaradawi’s extremist statements. The first collection contains Qaradawi’s statements about Europe and the US as well as about Israel and Jews. The second collection contains various statements by Qaradawi on social issues such as discussing the killing of homosexuals and stating that beating is “suitable” for some wives.
Qaradawi been banned from entering the US since 1999 and UK since 2008. Last year, authorities also refused him entry into France.

Wahhabism expansion in Russia leads to growth of Islamophobia - National Anti-Terrorist Committee.

Wahhabism expansion in Russia leads to growth of Islamophobia - National Anti-Terrorist Committee.HT: RBTH.

The fear of Islam amid the expansion of Wahhabism is typical in some parts of Russian society, representative of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee Nikolai Sintsov said.

"The expansion of Wahhabism with its preaching of religious intolerance, jihad and religion-motivated terrorism - all this has led to the growth of Islamophobia and xenophobia aimed against people who practice Islam," Sintsov said on Tuesday at a conference in Pyatigorsk.

"Namely the fear of Muslims, the fear of Islam has become typical of some parts of Russian society and this leads to certain consequences," Sintsov said.

That is why Russian Muslims should be oriented in Russian religious centers such as Kazan, Ufa and Grozny, Sintsov said."The experience shows that foreign religious influence does not offer anything good for Muslims in Russia," he said. Read the full story here.

Iranian Scholar Blames Sacrilege of Islamic Sanctities on Muslim Ignorance.....and of course the 'Zionists'.

Iranian Scholar Blames Sacrilege of Islamic Sanctities on Muslim Ignorance.....and of course the 'Zionists'.(Fars).A prominent Iranian scholar strongly condemned the recent desecration of the shrine of a highly revered Shiite figure in Syria by Wahhabi extremists, and said the tragic event took place due to Muslims' negligence.

"Today, if the Wahhabis boldly insult the shrine of the Prophet (Mohammad (PBUH))'s old friend, (it happens because) they have stolen our thoughts long time ago," Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Islamic World Peace Forum Touba Kermani said in Tehran on Wednesday.

Armed rebels affiliated to the Wahhabi extremists attacked the mausoleum of Hojr ibn Oday, one of the close companions of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), in the Damascus suburb of Adra last week and exhumed his grave, taking his remains to an unknown location. Yet, the Wahhabi extremist groups continued their desecration of Muslim sanctities and damaged Ja'far al-Tayyar, another close companion of the Prophet and the brother of Shiite Islam's first Imam, and torched his grave in Karak province in Southern Jordan two days later.

"If we continue our negligence, they will embark on exhumation of the holy prophet's shrine and this will not happen but through the enemy front's approach and our negligence as Muslims," she added.

The Nusra Front, affiliated to the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization, has taken up the responsibility for the desecration of Oday's grave.

Hojr was a staunch supporter of the first Shiite Imam Ali (PBUH) and led the army of Muslims to victory in several crucial battles. He and his sons finally fell victim to their loyalty to Imam Ali (PBUH) and were murdered at the order of the Umayyad Caliph Muawiyah in the year 660 CE.

The sacrilege of Islamic sanctities has aroused intense feelings in Muslim lands, specially in Shiite communities.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei strongly condemned the recent desecration of the Oday's shrine, and called on all Muslims across the world to continue their protests against the sacrilege of Islamic sanctities.

Addressing a large number of Iranian officials in Tehran on Monday, the Supreme Leader praised the Sunni Muslims' reaction to the Wahhabi extremists' attack on the mausoleum of Hojr ibn Oday in the Damascus suburb of Adra, and said their protest displayed the high level of their vigilance and deep insight.

"Muslims' reaction to this bitter accident and condemnation of this move should continue because if scientific figures, intellectuals and political elites of the Islamic Ummah don't fulfill their duty, conspiracies will not stop at this limit," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

He said that Muslim intellectuals and scholars should prevent any further spread of such plots by means of political methods, religious fatwas (decrees), articles and other peaceful measures.

Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the clear footprints of enemies revealed in such sacrilegious moves, and blamed those who have kept silent on the development, saying, "International organizations and figures as well as those politicians who mourn for the destruction of an ancient artifact, have kept mum about this flagrant insult."

In Yemen, leader of the Houthi Movement Seyed Abdelmalik Al-Houthi in a statement on Saturday condemned the desecration of Hojr's shrine.

"This action which has been done in line with the Zionists' criminal plots seeks to increase religious intolerances," the leader of Yemen's Houthi Movement said.

Al-Houthi described the desecration of Hojr as an immoral and inhumane action.

In Iran, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani in a message condemned the sacrilege of Islam's religious sanctities.

In his message, the speaker condemned "the Syrian terrorists' new crime of desecrating and exhuming the grave of Hojr ibn Oday".

Larijani called on the UN and UNESCO to take the necessary action to prevent the destruction of Muslims' religious and cultural sites.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian also strongly condemned the desecration of the shrine of a prominent Shiite figure in Syria by Wahhabi extremists.

Amir Abdollahian said that the perpetrators of such ugly acts are affiliated to the Zionist regime who have conducted similar attempts at holy Muslim sites in the occupied territories

The Iranian deputy foreign minister warned the masterminds of such inhumane acts that they will receive a response that will make them sorry for what they have done.

Also, large groups of Iranian seminary students and teachers staged protest gatherings in Tehran and Qom on Saturday to strongly condemn the Wahhabi extremists' insult to Shiite Islam.

Seminary students and teachers convened at the shrine of Hazrat Abdolazim Hassani in Southern Tehran on Saturday reading a message of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, who condemned the sacrilegious act.
The protesters also chanted slogans against the perpetrators and their Wahhabi supporters. They also issued a statement condemning the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) for conducting such shameful acts.

In a similar move in Qom, the seminary students and teachers gathered in the city's Feyzieh seminary school today and condemned desecration of Hojr ibn Oday.

They read the messages of Grand Ayatollahs Golpayegani and Makarem Shirazi who condemned the desecration of Hojr ibn Oday's shrine.

Reports from Iraq also said that similar moves had been done by Shiite seminaries in the holy city of Najaf.

Late last week, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki also condemned the desecration of the grave of Hojr by foreign-backed terrorists.

In a statement issued by his office, Maliki described the attack as a "mean act" that targeted the unity among Muslims. Read the full story here.

Boston Jihadi Tsarnaev Considered so dangerous Saudis denied him entry to Mecca, sent warning letter to U.S. Officials.

Boston Jihadi Tsarnaev Considered so dangerous Saudis denied him entry to Mecca, sent warning letter to U.S. Officials.HT: TundraTabloids.(DM).By DAVID MARTOSKO and THE AMERICAN MEDIA INSTITUTE.

  • Saudis developed intelligence separately from Russia, which also warned the U.S. about the accused Boston bomber.
  • A letter to the Department of Homeland Security allegedly named Tsarnaev and three Pakistanis as potential jihadis worthy of U.S. investigation.
  • Red flags from Saudi Arabia to have included Tsarnaev’s name and information about a planned explosive attack on a major U.S. city.
  • Saudi foreign minister, national security chief both met with Obama in the oval office in early 2013

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sent a written warning about accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012, long before pressure-cooker blasts killed three and injured hundreds, according to a senior Saudi government official with direct knowledge of the document.

The Saudi warning, the official told MailOnline, was separate from the multiple red flags raised by Russian intelligence in 2011, and was based on human intelligence developed independently in Yemen.

Citing security concerns, the Saudi government also denied an entry visa to the elder Tsarnaev brother in December 2011, when he hoped to make a pilgrimage to Mecca, the source said. Tsarnaev’s plans to visit Saudi Arabia have not been previously disclosed. The Saudis' warning to the U.S. government was also shared with the British government. 'It was very specific’ and warned that 'something was going to happen in a major U.S. city,' the Saudi official said during an extensive interview.

It 'did name Tamerlan specifically,' he added. The 'government-to-government' letter, which he said was sent to the Department of Homeland Security at the highest level, did not name Boston or suggest a date for his planned attack.
If true, the account will produce added pressure on the Homeland Security department and the White House to explain their collective inaction after similar warnings were offered about Tsarnaev by the Russian government.

A DHS official denied, however, that the agency received any such warning from Saudi intelligence about Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

'DHS has no knowledge of any communication from the Saudi government regarding information on the suspects in the Boston Marathon Bombing prior to the attack,' MailOnline learned from one Homeland Security official who declined to be named in this report.

The White House took a similar view. 'We and other relevant U.S. government agencies have no record of such a letter being received,' said Caitlin Hayden, a spokesperson for the president’s National Security Council.

The letter likely came to DHS via the Saudi Ministry of Interior, the agency tasked with protecting the Saudi kingdom’s homeland.

A Homeland Security official confirmed Tuesday evening on the condition of anonymity that the 2012 letter exists, saying he had heard of the Saudi communication before MailOnline inquired about it.

An aide to a Republican member of the House Homeland Security Committee speculated Tuesday about why the Obama administration contradicted the knowledgeable Saudi official.

It is possible the Department of Homeland Security received the information from the Saudi government but never passed it on to the White House,’ the GOP staffer said. 'Communication between DHS and the White House's national security apparatus isn't always what it should be.’

'I can easily see it happening where one hand didn't know what the other was doing because of a turf war.' House Homeland Security Committee chairman Mike McCaul plans to announce on Wednesday an investigative hearing to probe what U.S. intelligence knew prior to the Boston attacks, two senior Republican sources told MailOnline.

Separately, President Obama announced Tuesday that the U.S. government will launch a wide-ranging inquiry into the sharing of information among the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Homeland Security and other intelligence and law-enforcement agencies of the federal government. 'We want to leave no stone unturned,' the president said in a rare White House press conference.Hmmmm......Yeah we'll go to the bottom of it.Read the full story here.

US deliberately turned blind eye to Tsarnayev brothers' – Russian lawmaker.

US deliberately turned blind eye to Tsarnayev brothers' – Russian lawmaker.(VOR).The United States knew about the danger emanating from the Tsarnayev brothers but deliberately turned a blind eye to it, a senior Russian lawmaker twittered on Monday.
Alexei Pushkov, head of the State Duma’s International Affairs Committee, claimed that “someone evidently wanted to use the brothers because it’s hard to believe in the FBI’s naivety.”
Brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnayev are accused of staging the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing that killed three people, including an 8-year-old child.

During a huge manhunt, Tamerlan was killed in a shootout with police, while Dzhokhar was injured and is still in hospital.

Reports to the effect that the uncle of suspected Boston bombers, the Tsarnayev brothers, Ruslan, is related to the CIA are absurd, said Ruslan Tsarnayev’s former father-in-law, former CIA agent, Graham Fuller, in a statement.
He said that his daughter, Samantha, was Ruslan Tsarnayev’s wife for 3 or 4 years, of which time they spent one year in Bishkek. According to Mr. Fuller, the two divorced in 1999. Graham Fuller was a former CIA officer in Turkey, and was also a Deputy Head of the US National Intelligence Council.

But he had retired from the Intelligence Service by the time his daughter married Ruslan Tsarnayev. Graham Fuller told the El Monitor online publication that he did not think Ruslan could say anything of any importance to the intelligence agency.Read the full story here.

Tsarnaevs planned to set off bombs in New York's Times Square.

Tsarnaevs planned to set off bombs in New York's Times Square.(Reuters).The brothers believed to be responsible for bombing the Boston Marathon discussed detonating more bombs in New York City before their plans went awry, sources tell ABC News and Reuters.

According to law enforcement sources to who spoke to ABC News, Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his younger brother, Dzhokhar, were planning on driving to New York on Thursday night to detonate more bombs in Times Square.

Those plans were derailed, though, when the person they carjacked in Boston late Thursday escaped. That touched off a chase and gun fight through the streets of suburban Boston that killed Tamerlan, 26, and set off a massive manhunt for Dzhokhar, 19.

Two other sources could not confirm that the suspects were headed to New York last Thursday night but said that law enforcement authorities believe the ethnic Chechen brothers had planned to travel to the city to detonate bombs at some point. Read the full story here.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Unarmed When Barrage of Bullets Hit Boat

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Unarmed When Barrage of Bullets Hit Boat.(WaPo).Although police feared he was heavily armed, the suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing had no firearms when he came under a barrage of police gunfire that struck the boat where he was hiding, according to multiple federal law enforcement officials.

Authorities said they were desperate to capture Dzhokhar Tsarnaev so he could be questioned. The FBI, however, declined to discuss what prompted the gunfire.

Other law enforcement officials said the shooting may have been prompted by the chaos of the moment and some action that led the officers to believe Tsarnaev had fired a weapon or was about to detonate explosives.

Law enforcement officials said they do not believe the brothers were connected with a terrorist organization, but they cautioned that the inquiry is at an early stage.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was killed in a confrontation with police in the early morning hours Friday, four days after the marathon bombing. A transit police officer was seriously wounded in the exchange, in which more than 200 rounds were fired and the suspects lobbed homemade explosives at police. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev escaped and was the subject of a massive manhunt. He was cornered hiding in a boat in the driveway of a house in Watertown, Mass., on Friday evening.

Law enforcement officials described the 30 minutes before the arrest of Tsarnaev as chaotic. One characterized it as “the fog of war” and said that in a highly charged atmosphere, one accidental shot could have caused what police call “contagious fire.” Hmmmm......Suspect Throat Injury: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Reportedly Attempted Suicide, Firing Gun in Mouth. Shoebat Exclusive: Shocking Facebook of the Canada Train Terrorist.

Shoebat Exclusive: Shocking Facebook of the Canada Train Terrorist. HT: Shoebat.
Not much is available regarding Chiheb Esseghaier, the man charged with conspiring to derail a VIA passenger train in Canada. That is, until we began researching the Arabic and discovered a Tunisian Al-Qaeda operative’s facebook page in Arabic, all with the chilling details.

From western sources, the man’s Internet activities are summarized thusly, via National Post:

[His] professional networking site LinkedIn that is illustrated with the black flag of the Islamic State of Iraq, an umbrella group of Iraqi insurgent groups affiliated with al Qaeda.”

That’s hardly a dossier.

Yet, his facebook page which was deleted minutes after our discovery (and after we saved it) is a different story. At the top is a detailed flowchart on Al-Qaeda’s plans, command and control, and methodology – from leadership to cell creation.

His favorites include several links to some of the most notorious terror groups including a facebook dedicated for the famed Abu Mus’ab Zarkawi.
On that facebook page, it gives a glimpse of the Al-Qaeda recruitment in the Levant (Syria).
Esseghaier’s favorite Muslim preacher is Yaser al-Dawsari, who linked to another facebook page under that name; it too was scrubbed minutes after our discovery.
Al-Dawsari is a major Saudi Imam who works for the Saudi government and is the relative of another terrorist, Khalid al-Dawsari, a U.S. home-grown Al-Qaeda terrorist who is in custody in the United States for attempting to assassinate president George W. Bush and plant weapons of mass destruction.Read and see the full story here.

Saudi student Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi was injured in the Boston Marathon Bombings.

He was once a “person of interest” in the bombings.

He was put on a terror watch list after the bombings.

Michelle Obama visited al-Harbi in the hospital last week.

He posted pictures on his Facebook page:

Alex Jones of InfoWars has already added to the Glenn Beck conspiracy theory by alleging that “Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi is [claimed to be] free and clear of terrorist ties, when in fact over 10 names from his clan are already linked to Al-Qaeda.”

They printed out a list of Al-Harbi clan members who are known to be active fighters in al Qaeda, although potentially distant family ties do not constitute proof of terrorism.

Education by Murder in Boston.

Education by Murder in Boston.By Daniel Pipes
The Washington Times
April 24, 2013.
What will be the long-term impact of the Apr. 15-19 Boston Marathon attack and the ensuing action-movie-style chase, killing a total of four and wounding 265?
Let's start with what its impact will not be. It will not bring American opinion together; if the "United We Stand" slogan lasted brief months after 9/11, consensus after Boston will be even more elusive. The violence will not lead to Israeli-like security measures in the United States. Nor will it lead to a greater preparedness to handle deadly sudden jihad syndrome violence. It will not end the dispute over the motives behind indiscriminate Muslim violence against non-Muslims. And it certainly will not help resolve current debates over immigration or guns.

United We Stand postage stamp.
What it will do is very important: it will prompt some Westerners to conclude that Islamism is a threat to their way of life. Indeed, every act of Muslim aggression against non-Muslims, be it violent or cultural, recruits more activists to the anti-jihad cause, more voters to insurgent parties, more demonstrators to anti-immigrant street efforts, and more donors to anti-Islamist causes.

Education by murder is the name I gave this process in 2002; we who live in democracies learn best about Islamism when blood flows in the streets. Muslims began with an enormous stock of good will because the Western DNA includes sympathy for foreigners, minorities, the poor, and people of color. Islamists then dissipate this good will by engaging in atrocities or displaying supremacist attitudes. High profile terrorism in the West - 9/11, Bali, Madrid, Beslan, London – moves opinion more than anything else.
I know because I went through this process first hand. Sitting in a restaurant in Switzerland in 1990, Bat Ye'or sketched out for me her fears concerning Islamist ambitions in Europe but I thought she was alarmist. Steven Emerson called me in 1994 to tell me about the Council on American-Islamic Relations but I initially gave CAIR the benefit of the doubt. Like others, I needed time to wake to the full extent of the Islamist threat in the West.
Westerners are indeed waking up to this threat. One can get a vivid sense of trends by looking at developments in Europe, which on the topics of immigration, Islam, Muslims, Islamism, and Shari'a (Islamic law) is ahead of North America and Australia by about twenty years. One sign of change is the growth of political parties focused on these issues, including the U.K. Independence Party, the National Front in France, the People's Party in Switzerland, Geert Wilder's Party for Freedom in the Netherlands, the Progress Party in Norway, and the Swedish Democrats. In a much-noted recent by-election, UKIP came in second, increasing its share of the vote from 4 percent to 28 percent, thereby creating a crisis in the Conservative party.

The Zurich mosque and minaret.
Swiss voters endorsed a referendum in 2009 banning minarets by at 58-42 margin, a vote more significant for its ratio than its policy implications, which were roughly nil. Public opinion polling at that time found that other Europeans shared these views roughly in these same proportions. Polling also shows a marked hardening of views over the years on these topics. Here (with thanks to Maxime Lépante) are some recent surveys from France:

As Soeren Kern notes, similar views on Islam appear in Germany. A recent report from the Institut fĂŒr Demoskopie Allensbach asked what qualities Germans associate with Islam:
  • 56 percent: striving for political influence
  • 60 percent: revenge and retaliation
  • 64 percent: violence
  • 68 percent: intolerance toward other faiths
  • 70 percent: fanaticism and radicalism
  • 83 percent: discrimination against women
In contrast, only 7 percent of Germans associate Islam with openness, tolerance, or respect for human rights.
These commanding majorities are higher than in earlier years, suggesting that opinion in Europe is hardening and will grow yet more hostile to Islamism over time. In this way, Islamist aggression assures that anti-Islamism in the West is winning its race with Islamism. High-profile Muslim attacks like the ones in Boston exacerbate this trend. That is its strategic significance. That explains my cautious optimism about repulsing the Islamist threat.

Boston bomb suspect's aunt: Mosque refuses to bury Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

Boston bomb suspect's aunt: Mosque refuses to bury Tamerlan Tsarnaev.(NBC).The Tsarnaevs’ aunt said today that a Boston mosque that the brothers attended will not allow them to hold a funeral there for Tamerlan, who was killed last week after a shootout with police.

Tsarnaev is suspected of carrying out the deadly Boston Marathon bombing that killed three and injured more than 200, as well as killing an MIT campus police officer three days later.

The aunt, Patimat Suleimanova, said she did not know the name of the mosque, but that the burial request had also been denied. The brothers were known to have attended the Islamic Society of Boston mosque in Cambridge, and a spokesman for the mosque said burying Tsarnaev is a “complex” situation because “what the guy did was absolutely disgraceful.” Members of the mosque have been questioned by police.

Earlier this week, Imam Talal Eid of the Islamic Institute of Boston told The Huffington Post: “I would not be willing to do a funeral for him. This is a person who deliberately killed people. There is no room for him as a Muslim.” Hmmmm.....Where was this guy when they gave Osama Bin Laden an 'Islamic Burial?Read the full story here.

Obama to Observe Moment of Silence for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings . . . in Private.HT: WhiteHouseDossier.

President Obama this afternoon will observe a moment of silence for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, with a twist: the press and the American people will be barred from seeing it.

From the White House:

UPDATED:

Later in the afternoon, the President will observe a moment of silence in honor of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. The moment of silence is closed press.

Obama bills himself as presiding over the “openness White House,” but with respect to the Boston bombings, the place has been strangely opaque.

There have been only two televised White House briefings since the bombings a week ago. Both have been by White House Press Secretary Jay Carney.

No members of the president’s national security team have come to the briefing room podium to discuss the bombings, take questions on urgent matters such as why the terrorists were able to circumvent federal counterterrorism efforts, and to update Americans on the investigation and address whether there are further dangers to the public.Hmmmm......What time are the Muslim afternoon prayers?Answer:'Asr (afternoon): In the late afternoon, people are usually busy wrapping up the day's work, getting kids home from school, etc. It is an important time to take a few minutes to remember God and the greater meaning of our lives. Read the full story here.
