Gaza journalist Tawfiq Abu Shomar, interviewed by the Turkish TRT Arabic TV channel, said: "

[Israel] has brought over Yazidis [from Iraq]. A large number of Yazidis are now being converted to Judaism and absorbed there. In addition to the ruling Jewish authorities, there are organizations abroad that buy slavegirls on the ISIS market and take them to Israel." The interview was broadcast on January 15, 2016.

The Irish Times has published the following, written, incidentally, by Robert Fisk’s ex-wife, Lara Marlowe:

Doctors and an ambulance officer believe Israel tested new weapons during its July 8th – August 26th assault on the Gaza Strip.

Ambulance officer Ibrahim Abu Kas of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society has worked through the last three wars between Israel and Hamas. “In this war, I saw things I never could have imagined,” he says. “The five children from the al-Jaal family in Zeitoun were the strangest thing I ever saw in my life.”

The room where three girls and two boys were sleeping was hit by an Israeli tank shell while their mother, father and grandmother sat in another room. “Their bodies were hot. Their hair and skin were black liked charred wood. When their parents arrived at the hospital, they didn’t recognise them,” Abu Kas continues. “But there had been no fire, only white smoke.”

The unsubstantiated rumors and innuendo continue:

Doctors at Shifa hospital heard rumours of chemical weapons or gas. “I saw a man whose limbs were jerking and he could not breathe before he died, but he had no wounds,” Abu Kas recounts. Earlier, he had picked up people who were suffocating but survived.

 While he makes no accusations of this nature, it’s no coincidence that Mads Gilbert is once again on the scene:

Whatever new weapons Israel may have used, “The worst illegal weapons are the siege, which is illegal collective punishment, the disproportionate use of force and the lack of discrimination between civilian and military targets,” says the Norwegian doctor Mads Gilbert, who worked at Shifa during the war.

Perhaps most interestingly is the input of Dr Sobhi Skaik, chief surgeon and medical director at Shifa hospital, in the Irish Times story. For Dr Skaik was also making almost identical accusations in 2006:

What is happening is frightening. It’s possible the Israeli army was using Gaza to experiment militarily.
. . .
Local doctors say a number of both widespread and unusual injuries may indicate that new types of weapons were used on the Gaza population during the war. Health officials are seeing wounds they have never seen before, or at least not on such a massive scale.

“There has been a significant loss of life here in Gaza for reasons that are unexplainable medically,” said Dr. Skaik.

That Israel has advanced weapons that are capable of causing immense destruction is not a surprise. Neither is it a surprise that the same politicized medical professionals should be promoting a story that Israel is employing weapons that are so diabolical as to be like nothing ever used by any other conventional army.

Lara Marlowe’s story is based on already discredited “eyewitnesses.” 

Had she looked into the history of these types of libels, perhaps she would have approached her story with a healthier degree of skepticism. However, based on a series of one-sided pieces from Gaza written by Marlowe since the beginning of the month, it is more likely that she was only too willing to believe the latest weapons libel to emerge from Gaza. Palestinian spokespeople have been presenting Israeli MP Tzipi Livni's statements that Abbas will have to pay the price for the peace talks' failure if he doesn't moderate his positions, as actual, personal threats to Abbas:

"Spokesman for PA Chairman Abbas, Nabil Abu Rudeina said that statements made by Minister of Justice and head of the Israeli negotiating team Tzipi Livni should be considered official threats and are unacceptable... He added that Livni's statements make her a party that cannot be negotiated with... It should be noted that Livni warned President Abbas that, 'He will pay the price for adhering to his positions.'" Muhammad Abu Saada, a lecturer in International Law at the University of Palestine in Gaza was interviewed by PA TV. He asserted that Livni's threats should be taken seriously since she murdered "an Iraqi nuclear scientist and poisoned him to death," and therefore, may commit murder again. The following is a transcript of the interview given by Muhammad Abu Saada, a lecturer in International Law at the University of Palestine in Gaza, to PA TV:   PA TV host: "[Tzipi] Livni, the Israeli Minister of Justice, the head of the Israeli negotiating team, threatened President Abbas and said that if he continues to refuse to recognize the Jewish state and adheres to his positions, which are unacceptable to Israel and the world, he will pay the price. What price is Livni talking about?" Muhammad Abu Saada, lecturer in International Law, University of Palestine, Gaza: "Livni is a Mossad officer... These threats must be taken seriously... Based on Livni's mentality and on an analysis of Livni's personality, could she do something stupid? And could her threat be carried out? The answer is yes.  Why? First of all, Livni comes from a family that is extremely far-right... I want to remind so-called Minister Livni: Livni, the French government issued a warrant for your arrest in 1983. Why? Because at the time, Livni was a Mossad officer working as a maid in the home of an Iraqi nuclear scientist and she killed him with poison... Livni, in legal terminology, is a criminal. She has a criminal record. She is a murderer. She committed murder in 1983 and Britain issued a warrant for her arrest in 2009. Livni's personality has a criminal mentality, of direct murder. Therefore, we must understand this [threat] on the personal level. Regarding the price, we're talking about two things. Either the price is President Mahmoud Abbas' life - this is one price." Last week, Palestinian Media Watch reported that the Palestinian Authority Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash said Jews had killed Yasser Arafat by poison, just as the Jews of the town of Khaibar had killed Islam's Prophet Muhammad.

Now, senior PA and Fatah leader Jibril Rajoub has added that the US was involved in killing Arafat:

"It's obvious that Israel wasn't alone [in poisoning Arafat]; the US was there. That fool known as [George] Bush took away Yasser Arafat's protection and gave [Israeli PM] Sharon the green light to liquidate Yasser Arafat." [Official PA TV, Nov. 10, 2013].
