On June 14, 2016, the Telegram channel shared an advertisement for a Dark Web site that is allegedly run by the Albanian mafia, and offers the services of Albanian assassins and hackers. The site is accessed via The Onion Router (TOR).

In December 2015, the Cyber kahilafah channel posted links to download TOR, a browser which anonymize and encrypt users’ Internet browsing activity, and allowing them to access various sites on the Dark Web. Read the full story here.

The Dark Web is a privileged environment for cyber criminals and state-sponsored hackers due to the anonymity offered by its services.

Unfortunately, another category of threat actors is exploiting the deep web, the terrorists, for this reason, the US intelligence plans to dive in the principal Darknets and explore the main hidden services to raise money and make propaganda in search of new followers to recruit.

The Dark Web is difficult to monitor for intelligence agencies and it is not so easy to locate members of terrorist organizations like the ISIS that share propaganda content. In the principal black markets hosted on the deep web it is possible to purchase any kind of illegal product and service, but in the dark part of the web it is possible to find propaganda videos and images.

Hidden services in the Deep Web also offer the possibility to download the mobile apps used by the jihadists to communicate securely and to transfer Bitcoins to terrorist cells in every place of the world.

“What keeps me up at night when I am thinking about digital currency…the real threats out there, these days we’re thinking a lot about ISIL,” Calvery declared. “How they’re moving their money, and how potential US-based individuals are becoming foreign fighters: Are they moving their money, can we identify them from the movement of their money? A hacker accused of illegally entering South Korea's state Hydro and Nuclear Power Company computer network used multiple Chinese IP addresses, Yonhap reported Wednesday, citing an investigation by South Korean government and prosecution officials.

The network hack has been traced to a city in China, according to the investigation. The name of the city has not been disclosed yet.


The hacker has been publishing internal information of the nuclear power company since December 15, including personal data for 10,000 company employees. The hacker has also released files containing maps, safety analysis materials and information on reactor cooling and conditioning systems of the Gori and Wolsong nuclear power plants.

On December 19, the hacker, who calls himself "president of anti-nuclear reactor group," demanded the shut down of both the company's Gori and Wolsong nuclear reactors.

Messages from the hacker warned that if the Company does not close the reactors by December 25, he will "open to the world 100,000 pages of data that have not yet been revealed," according to Yonhap.

This is most likely a reference to the North Korean hackers reportedly operating from China (here are pictures of the Chilbosan hotel in Shenyang where members of Unit 121, North Korea’s computer network operations team, are supposedly based). One of the newspapers owned by the People’s Dailyran an article today quoting a South Korean professor as saying Pyongyang hadapproximately one thousand hackers in China, so the Chinese press at least is not categorically denying their existence.

As many as 7 million passwords to online document-sharing site Dropbox have allegedly been hacked, with some already published on Pastebin, an anonymous information-sharing website, with hackers threatening to release more account details in exchange for Bitcoin.

“6,937,081 Dropbox Accounts Hacked,” said the message of an anonymous Pastebin user. “More Bitcoin = More Accounts Published on Pastebin,” added the note followed by a list of over 400 Dropbox accounts.  The anonymous hacker said the stolen information includes photos, videos and other personal files.

Dropbox quickly denied having been hacked.

"These usernames and passwords were unfortunately stolen from other services and used in attempts to log in to Dropbox accounts," online magazine Engadget quotes a Dropbox spokesperson as saying.

"We'd previously detected these attacks and the vast majority of the passwords posted have been expired for some time now. All other remaining passwords have been expired as well."

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden’s advice to those concerned about their privacy is to "get rid of Dropbox" and cease using Facebook and Google, reports The Independent.

Hackers have warned that thousands of nude images sent via the mobile-messaging service Snapchat, many of which users believed self-destructed after being sent, are to be released online in a searchable database.

Messaging boards on the notorious website 4chan have been filling up with news of the imminent leak, already being referred to as "The Snappening".

It comes just weeks after hundreds of celebrity nudes were leaked online through the same site, following a hack of Apple's iCloud that has come to be referred to as the Fappening.

Earlier this week an anonymous 4chan user claimed to have hacked into Snapsave, an image-saving service that allows users of Snapchat to store pictures received before they self-destruct.

Given the nature of the Snapchat service, many of the images are expected to be of an explicit nature, while the young demographic of Snapchat's users could mean that some of the images released constitute child pornography.

A startup has developed a contraceptive chip that could be deactivated and reactivated using a wireless remote.

Developed by MicroCHIPS of Lexington, Massachusetts, the device will begin pre-clinical testing next year in the U.S. The goal is to have it on the market by 2018.

To conceive, women turn off the implant with a remote control; another click of the remote restarts it. After 16 years, it could be removed. Doctors could also adjust dosages remotely. Currently, no hormonal birth control lasts over five years.

The idea for the device originated two years ago in a visit by Bill Gates and his colleagues to Robert Langer’s MIT lab. Gates and his colleagues asked Langer if it were feasible to create birth control that a woman could turn on and off and use for many years. Langer thought the controlled release microchip technology he invented with colleagues Michael Cima and John Santini in the 1990s and licensed to MicroCHIPS might offer a solution.

Few private companies step up to the challenge of creating new contraceptives. MicroCHIPS’ timing could be good. An international coalition of governments, companies, philanthropies, and nonprofits recently committed to providing family planning to 120 million more women in the world by 2020.

More work remains before MicroCHIPS files an application with the Food and Drug Administration.

For example, it will be necessary to encrypt the chips to keep their wireless data flow private and secure.

He writes that [cyber] security researchers have uncovered a new, Stuxnet-like malware, named as ‘Havex,’ which was used in a number of previous cyber attacks against organizations in Europe — the energy sector.”

“Just like the Famous Stuxnet Worm, which was specifically designed to sabotage the Iranian nuclear project, the new trojan Havex — is also programmed to infect industrial control system softwares of SCADA and ICS systems, — with the capability to possibly disable hydroelectric dams, overload nuclear power plants, and even shut down a country’s power grid –with a single keystroke.”

According to the [cyber] security firm F-Secure, who first discovered it as a Backdoor:W32/Havex.A, it is a generic remote access Trojan (RAT); and, has recently been used to carry out industrial espionage against a number of companies in Europe — that use or develop industrial applications and machines,” wrote Mr. Khandelwal.

Smarty Pants, Trojanized Installers

Mr. Khandelwal notes that “in order to accomplish this, besides the traditional infection methods such as explicit kits and spam emails, cyber criminals also used another effective method to spread Havex RAT, i.e., hacking the websites of software companies; and, waiting for targets to install trojanizd versions of legitimate apps.”

“During installation, the trojanized software setup drops a file called “mbcheck.dll, which is actually Havex malware, that attackers are using as a backdoor. “The C and C server will [then] instruct infected computers to download and execute further components,”

— “We gathered and analyzed 88 variants of the Havex RAT used to gain access to, and harvest data from, networks and machines of interest. This analysis included investigation of 146 command and control servers contacted by the variants, which in turn, — involved tracing around 1500 IP addresses in an attempt to identify victims,” F-Secure said.

F-Secure didn’t mention the names of the affected vendors, but an industrial machine producer and two educational organizations in France, with companies in Germany — were targeted.

Information Gathering.

“Havex RAT is equipped with a new component, whose purpose is to gather network and connected devices information — by leveraging the OPC (Open Platform Communications) standard,” wrote Mr. Khandelwal. “The malware scans the local network for the devices that respond to OPC requests to gather information about industrial control devices; and, then sends that information back to its command-and-control server.”
“Other than this, it also include information-harvesting tools that gather data from the infected systems,” adds Mr. Khandelwal, such as:
— Operating system related information;
— A credential-harvesting tool that stole passwords stored on open
web browsers;
— A component that communicates to different Command-And-Control
servers using custom protocols; and, execute tertiary payloads in
memory.
“So far, we have not seen any payloads that attempts to control the connected hardware.” F-Secure confirmed.

Motivation.

“While their motivation is unclear at this point, “We also identified an additional component used by the attackers that includes code to harvest data from infected machines used in ICS/SCADA systems in those organizations,” said F-Secure.

Havex Trojan From Russia?

“In January of this year, the cyber security firm CrowdStrike revealed about a cyber espionage campaign, dubbed “Energetic Bear,” where hackers possibly tied to Russian Federation penetrating the computer networks of energy companies in Europe, the United States, and Asia.

According to CrowdStrike, the malwares used in those cyber attacks were Havex RAT and SYSMain RAT, and both tools have been operated by the attackers since at least 2011. That means, it is possible that Havex RAT could somehow be linked to Russian hackers; or, state-sponsored Russian Government [entities].”

Unfortunately, what originates in Russia, or anywhere else for that matter — with respect to cyber malware/viruses, etc., doesn’t stay in Russia. I would expect other cyber malcontents to deconstruct and reverse-engineer this bug in order to see if it can be made even more “lethal,” and damaging that it may already be. V/R, RCP

A Muslim group which has recently gathered fame for its successful cyberattacks on the Israeli army, Saudi army and Bin Laden's backup company displayed a series of documents on Wednesday proving that it has shut down some of the highly secure servers in Israel belonging to the Israeli Aviation Authority after hacking and controlling the servers for months.

'The Islamic Cyber Resistance Group' said it has hacked Israel Aviation Authority (iaa.gov.il), gained access to its LAN, extracted highly sensitive and top secret information regarding domestic and international flight maps, flight plans, etc. and controlled the iaa servers for months.

"The Islamic Cyber Resistance Group is proud to add another one to its line of success and announces access to the LAN of Israeli aviation organization, in a move to render the fake legend of Israel's security and invincibility obsolete," the group said in a statement released on its website.

"By the grace of God, we could gain access to iaa.gov.il LAN and in addition to obtaining sensitive information, seized full control over the management panel," it added.

The ICRG said it could wreak havoc on Israel by crashing every flying aircraft in Israel, but avoided doing so as ordered by Islam, implying that the Al-Qaeda or anyone else who caused the 9/11 attack were neither Muslims nor acting upon Koran and Islamic teachings.

"But as the world knows, killing women, children and innocent people is a profession exclusive to Israel and its neophytes, and we, as ordered by Islam, do condemn such moves and, thus, find it sufficient to release sensitive information to prove that we have had the access to the servers and downed the website," declared the group.

The ICRG further declared that it has gained access to "the flight management plans and were able to make online changes to them. Also by gaining access to ATIS/VOLMET system, disruption in data communications (such as flight routing and weather conditions) between plane and ground stations was possible".

The Muslim group said it had the servers and network of the IAA under control for months and downloaded a huge amount of data, analyzed and studied different modules of Israel's air traveling and aviation systems. "This brought us valuable information regarding flight communication structures and processes in Israel."

The ICRG has also released pages of documents information to display the veracity and authenticity of its claim. The publicized data includes domestic and international flight information Database, some of the flight briefing files which are only provided to pilots and control towers, management and flight routing software information, and weather condition maps (NOTAM).

The group said "at present all the data and information on the server has been wiped and the website is down".

The ICRG said the hacking operation, called OP-Israel, was an act of reprisal for the Israeli killing of "Islamic Resistance martyrs Maysara Abu Hamdiya, HassanAbdulAlhlym al-Turabi and Rami Bajes Alzlbany", the Palestinian prisoners who were killed in Israeli jails.

The ICRG came to raise its name among the best in the hacking industry after it downed the servers of the Saudi and Israeli armies as well as the Saudi Bin Laden Group of Companies, a main financial backup company of the terrorist Al-Qaeda network, in an operation in mid December in retaliation for the role the trio had played in the assassination of Hezbollah commander Hassan Hawlo Lakkis.

The Islamic Cyber Resistance Group did not affiliate itself with Hezbollah or any other party or country, and identified itself as a group of true Muslim believers who would not withdraw from the war on Israel and terrorism.

The group warned that it takes the Israeli Mossad secret service and the Al-Qaeda responsible for the assassination of the Hezbollah leader, adding that the war on these two accomplices will rage on.Read and see the full 'story' here.

On Fox Business Network’s “Cavuto” on Wednesday, computer programmer and founder of McAfee, Inc. John McAfee said the online component of Obamacare “is a hacker’s wet dream” that will cause “the loss of income for the millions of Americans who are going to lose their identities.”

For starters, McAfee said the way it is set up makes it possible for fake websites be set up to fool people to think they’re signing up for Obamacare.

“It’s seriously bad,” McAfee said. “Somebody made a grave error, not in designing the program but in simply implementing the web aspect of it. I mean, for example, anybody can put up a web page and claim to be a broker for this system. There is no central place where I can go and say, ‘OK, here are all the legitimate brokers, the examiners for all of the states and pick and choose one.’”

“Instead, any hacker can put a website up, make it look extremely competitive, and because of the nature of the system — and this is health care, after all — they can ask you the most intimate questions, and you’re freely going to answer them,” he continued. “What’s my Social Security number? My birth date? What are my health issues?”

“Here’s the problem: It’s not something software can solve,” McAfee continued. “I mean, what idiot put this system out there and did not create a central depository? There should be one website, run by the government, you go to that website and then you can click on all of the agencies. This is insane. Yesterday, at a subcommittee hearing attended by just half a dozen Senators, the Pentagon’s top weapons buyer made a blunt admission: The military’s most expensive program, the stealthy F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, has been hacked and the stolen data used by America’s adversaries.

Under Secretary Frank Kendall didn’t say by whom, but the answer is almost certainly China, a cyber superpower whose People’s Liberation Army Air Force has recently rolled out some suspiciously sophisticated stealth fighter prototypes of its own. The Russians also have skilled hackers and “5th Generation” stealth jet programs, but they’re not suspected of such direct copying, at least not yet.
“I’m confident the classified material is well protected, but I’m not at all confident that our unclassified information is as well-protected,” said Kendall, the Under Secretary for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics. “It’s a major problem for us…. What it does is reduce the costs and lead time of our adversaries to doing their own designs, so it gives away a substantial advantage.”

The bad news isn’t new news: That someone had hacked F-35 subcontractor BAE Systems was first reported six years ago, and just this February Washington Post reporter Ellen Nakashima obtained leaked information naming the Chinese as having compromised not just the F-35 but two dozen other weapons program. Administration officials have been publicly pressuring China to rein in its hacking. 
But it’s still remarkable that such a senior official would so bluntly admit that US interests have been so directly harmed.
So what does this mean for a future conflict? 

The nightmare — raised by a recent Defense Science Board report – is what you might call the Battlestar Galactica scenario: Our fighters close in on the enemy, the bad guys push a button, and all our systems shut down, crippled by cyber-attacks via “back doors” previous hacks created in the security software. In this case, thankfully, that seems unlikely. 
Kendall made clear that classified data has remained secure (so far, we think): It’s unclassified data in contractors’ computers that has been stolen, not the military’s secret codes.And in some ways what they’ve stolen is worse than stealing “secret plans”: They’ve stolen data on how US and allied arms manufacturers make advanced weapons systems. So instead of having to just copy our stuff, they have a leg up on learning how to design equivalent systems on their own.

Research conducted by the Russian-based security company Group-IB recently discovered malware called “Dump Memory Grabber,” which it believes has already been used to steal debit and credit card information from customers using major US banks including Chase, Citibank and Capital One, Security Weekly reports.

The malicious code is evidently being installed directly into point-of-sale (POS) hardware (meaning registers or kiosks) and ATMs, and transmitting the harvested information straight out of the magnetic stripes on credit and debit cards - which includes everything from account numbers, to first and last names and expiration dates.
And just how are attackers infecting physical systems? Security researchers point to USB drives as the likely culprits, as modern register systems often have accessible ports, as well as direct connections to the Web.
According to Security Weekly, the harvested information can then be used to produce cloned cards, and they are likely succeeding with the help of individuals with direct access to the POS systems and ATMs - which could include employees.
Group-IB analyzed a video evidently posted by the coder behind Dump Memory Grabber, which includes stolen card numbers, and suggests he (or perhaps she) goes by the name “Wagner Richard,” and is likely inside Russia.
This is of course not the first time that attacks have been directed at physical machines like registers or bank ATMs, though using malware is a stealthier approach than physical “skimmer” ploys, which involve mouldings placed on top of the ATM card slots and keypads that log information from unsuspecting customers.
Researchers with Group-IB believe that Dump Memory Grabber is likely part of a larger cyber-crime gang, a Russian-offshoot of the amorphous Anonymous community, and include members in Ukraine and Armenia. Hackers release financial records of first lady, vice president, AG Holder, others.(RT).When Gossip website TMZ first reported the leak on Monday,without disclosing the hacking site’s name, the list contained sensitive information for 11 prominent Americans: Celebrities Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher, Jay-Z and Beyonce, as well as public figures Joe Biden, Robert Mueller,Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck.

The number of victims of the hacking has increased by 6 over the day, with Michelle Obama now topping the list. The site does not explain why these particular individuals had their personal data leaked.

The website in question is Exposed.su, RT has learned. The ‘.su’ domain was country code for USSR for only a short period – from 1990 to 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed. The hackers’ website is linked to a twitter account partly written in bad Russian, as though the messages were translated by machine.

The page contains links to the names of the figures allegedly hacked, an image of a girl holding her forefinger up to her mouth,and a quote from the television program Dexter: "If you believet hat God makes miracles, you have to wonder if Satan has a few uphis sleeve.”

While most of the celebrities’ pictures on the website are unflattering ones, the clear exception is Michelle Obama, whose page shows an ‘I love Michelle Obama’ sign, and also an excuse  written above her personal data: “Blame your husband, we still love you, Michelle.
Among the specific details included in the data dump are the Social Security numbers and alleged home addresses and contact information for most of the celebrities, as well as their credit reports and other financial information.

Several of the purported credit reports appear to have been  generated last week, according to AP, which also said that the LosAngeles Police Department is investigating how the Social Security number, address and credit report of their police chief ended up onthe site. "The best word I can use to describe it is creepy," Los Angeles police Cmdr. Andrew Smith said in an interview with AP.

The LAPD also vowed to investigate leaks of personal info of any celebrities living in the city, if they make such a request. The FBI has so far declined to say whether it was investigating the leak of FBI Director Robert Mueller’s personal data.

For former first lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,hackers have released only her Social Security Number and places of residence. For other targets, though, the information leaked allows for much more of a glimpse into their finances. Although disclosures of financial details are not uncommon for government officials, or discussions of a celebrity’s net worth,the data made public is never as detailed as that disclosed by the Exposed.su hackers. Stealth Backdoor key found in a US military China-made chip.(TNW).By Jon Russell.A team of researchers from Cambridge University say they have found evidence that a Chinese-manufactured chip used by US armed forces contains a secret access point that could leave it vulnerable to third party tampering.
The researchers tested an unspecified US military chip — used in weapons, nuclear power plants to public transport – and found that a previously unknown ‘backdoor’ access point had been added, making systems and hardware open to attack, the team says.
Cambridge University researcher, Sergei Skorobogatov, explains:

We scanned the silicon chip in an affordable time and found a previously unknown backdoor inserted by the manufacturer. This backdoor has a key, which we were able to extract. If you use this key you can disable the chip or reprogram it at will, even if locked by the user with their own key.
This particular chip is prevalent in many systems from weapons, nuclear power plants to public transport. In other words, this backdoor access could be turned into an advanced Stuxnet weapon to attack potentially millions of systems. The scale and range of possible attacks has huge implications for National Security and public infrastructure.

While the initial research is a concern, a number of question marks remain over the findings before further conclusions can be drawn.
It is unclear if the access point is isolated to the chip that was tested or whether Skorobogatov and his colleagues have stumbled upon a larger trend. Likewise, it remains possible that the modified back door access could have been created by the US armed forces themselves.
The news comes at a time when Chinese cyber-spying threats are a particular concern. Chinese telecom manufacturers ZTE and Huawei are already under investigation from the US government, which is assessing whether the duo’s telecom businesses pose a national security threat.
The Cambridge researchers did not name the company that developed the chip tested, nor did they provide more specific details of its usage. We’ve contacted Skorobogatov for further details and will provide any more information that we’re given.Read the full story here, more here.

They declined to enter Google’s contest and instead dismantled Chrome’s security to win an HP-sponsored hackathon at the same conference. And while Google paid a $60,000 award to each of the two hackers who won its event on the condition that they tell Google every detail of their attacks and help the company fix the vulnerabilities they had used, Vupen’s chief executive and lead hacker, Chaouki Bekrar, says his company never had any intention of telling Google its secret techniques—certainly not for $60,000 in chump change.
“We wouldn’t share this with Google for even $1 million,” says Bekrar. “We don’t want to give them any knowledge that can help them in fixing this exploit or other similar exploits. We want to keep this for our customers.”
Those customers, after all, don’t aim to fix Google’s security bugs or those of any other commercial software vendor. They’re government agencies who ­purchase such “zero-day” exploits, or hacking techniques that use undisclosed flaws in software, with the ­explicit ­intention of invading or disrupting the computers and phones of crime suspects and intelligence targets.
In that shady but legal market for security vulnerabilities, a zero-day exploit that might earn a hacker $2,000 or $3,000 from a software firm could earn 10 or even 100 times that sum from the spies and cops who aim to use it in secret. Bekrar won’t detail Vupen’s exact pricing, but analysts at Frost and Sullivan, which named Vupen the 2011 Entrepreneurial Company of the Year in vulnerability research, say that Vupen’s clients pay around $100,000 annually for a subscription plan, which gives them the privilege of shopping for Vupen’s techniques. Those intrusion methods ­include ­attacks on software such as Micro­soft Word, Adobe Reader, Google’s ­Android, Apple’s iOS operating systems and many more—Vupen bragged at HP’s hacking competition that it had exploits ready for every major browser. And sources familiar with the company’s business say that a single technique from its catalog often costs far more than its six-figure subscription fee.
Even at those prices, Vupen doesn’t sell its exploits exclusively. ­Instead, it hawks each trick to multiple government agencies, a business model that often plays its customers against one another as they try to keep up in an espionage arms race.
Bekrar claims that it carefully screens its clients, selling only to NATO governments and “NATO partners.” He says Vupen has further “internal processes” to filter out nondemocratic nations and requires buyers to sign contracts that they won’t reveal or resell their exploits. But even so, he admits that the company’s digital attack methods could still fall into the wrong hands. “We do the best we can to ensure it won’t go outside that agency,” Bekrar says. “But if you sell weapons to someone, there’s no way to ensure that they won’t sell to another agency. • Egyptian Official: Mubarak to Step Down, Transfer Authority to Armed Forces.President Hosni Mubarak will step down shortly and transfer authority to the Egyptian Higher Council of the Armed Forces, a senior Egyptian official confirmed to Fox News on Thursday.The group is comprised of the minister of defense, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi -- who stands atop the military hierarchy -- along with the military's chief of staff, the chief of operations, and commanders of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Air Defenses.The source pointed out that the transfer of power will occur "outside of the constitutional framework" because under the Egyptian constitution, Mubarak's resignation ordinarily would mean that the speaker of the house would become president and elections would be held within 60 days. In this case, the military council will "not be governing under the constitution or any legislation," the source noted. "So they will have to define the format under which they are taking power."The source did not know how long the military would reign nor what mechanism or timetable would be put in place to end the military's administration of power, but said that "when (the transfer of power from Mubarak) does happen, they will presumably indicate the direction of the country." The source drew parallels with the Army coup of 1952, and the removal of King Faroukh, noting that it took six months before the monarchy was dissolved and the modern republic formed.The source said this marks "a moment of grave magnitude for the national security of Egypt."The official said he doubted that Mubarak would be prosecuted after leaving office. "No specific allegations of wrongdoing have been made against him," said the source, adding that if any allegations surface later on, it would be a judicial function to resolve them. • Islam Times : Saudia Arabia's King Abdullah passed away.Islam Times: Saudi Arabia's 86-year-old King Abdullah was discharged from a New York City hospital in good health after going through two back operations in December 2010. The king delegated the management of the affairs of the world’s largest oil supplier to his half-brother, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, during his absence.King Abdullah talked with Obama about the situation in Egypt over the phone yesterday. Obama and the King got into a heated debate about their opinions of what Hosni Mubarak should do. After the phone call sources stated that King Abdullah was furious and then suffered a sudden heart attack. Doctors ran to his resuce but were unable to save him. He was pronounced dead, but his death was not reported due to the sensative conditions that exist in the region. One of the women presented - as a model of 'martyrdom' and 'victory over enmity' - was Dalal al-Mughrabi, who led the terror attack that killed the largest number of Israelis ever killed in one attack (37). It's known as the 'Coastal Road attack' and occurred in 1978. • HT:CreepingSharia.CAIR scrubs website of award to Muslim who beheaded wife.Hat tip to @antiCAIR who tweeted about the terror-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) bestowing an award to Muzzammil Hassan – the now convicted murderer – found guilty yesterday of beheading his wife. CAIR can scrub their website to send the story down the memory hole but photographic evidence remains via a 2009 post at WND: Beheader hubby was hero to U.S. Muslim activists.He received an award April 7, 2007, from CAIR-Pennsylvania at its first annual banquet, a fundraiser at the Hilton Philadelphia. CAIR-PA Chairman Iftekhar Hussain and CAIR National Chairman Parvez Ahmed presented the award to Hassan. The organization website does not specify a reason for the honor.In 2007, when CAIR gave Hassan the award, Hassan was systematically terrorizing his wife. He would later brutally attack her, stabbing her 40 times before cutting her head off and then leaving his kids alone in a vehicle out in the cold.
