The India trip was cut short by a day so that the Obamas could travel to Saudi Arabia to pay respects after the death of King Abdullah last week, and to meet with the new king.

Cultural norms in the Middle East in general can be tricky for westerners to negotiate when it comes to women and their attire in public. But it's not impossible, and attention to good manners helps: Over the years, Saudi kings have had no problem meeting Queen Elizabeth II. Vocativ was on Martha’s Vineyard over the weekend to film a piece about the African-American community on the island. While we were shooting on Beach Road, one of the busiest thoroughfares on the Vineyard, the Secret Service approached and asked us to switch off our camera for 15 minutes.

A moment later, first lady Michelle Obama power walked by our crew. She was out for some exercise with a small group—and a serious security detail. It was 9:30 in the morning.

Our producer and cameraman were surrounded by Secret Service agents andvery strongly advised to stop filming. Michelle Obama and her family ended their week-long trip to China with a visit to a reserve where they helped feed giant pandas before getting on the plane back home. 

The U.S First Lady has been visiting the country on a good-will tour with her daughters Sasha, 12, and Malia, 15, as well as her mother Marian Robinson.

On the final day of the trip the family visited the Chengdu Panda Base, a reserve for about 80 giant pandas, where they were able to feed a number of the animals.

Michelle Obama and her friend Toni Townes-Whitley - a Senior Vice President at the company that developed the dysfunctional Obamacare website (for those not in the US, you cannot imagine how much of last week's news was dominated by that website's failure) - were trustees of a group called Third World Center at Princeton.

In 1981, Third World Center hosted PLO terror supporter Hassan Rahman on the Princeton campus, forcing whites to sit separately from blacks, and raising tensions with Jewish groups on campus (Hat Tip: Jack W).

The two groups stirred considerable tension with Princeton’s Jewish community by inviting Hassan Rahman, then deputy United Nations observer for the Palestine Liberation Organization, to speak on campus, according to the Daily Caller, which cited contemporary press accounts.

Rahman “reiterated the PLO’s position that the Palestinians deserve a homeland and that they are entitled to use terrorism to achieve their goal, just as American revolutionaries did against the British,” according to an article in the Princeton Alumni Weekly from Jan. 25, 1982.

During Rahman’s speech, seating was segregated, the Alumni Weekly reported, with seating in the center reserved for members of the sponsoring groups – who were mainly black. Other students, mainly Jews, were seated on the periphery, according to the report.

“It was an ugly scene, but few expected perfect harmony,” the report stated.

Old news, right? Thirty years ago, these two women were part of two groups that caused a campus contretemps by inviting a speaker who openly advocated terror in his chosen cause – and segregating seating for the event on a de facto racial basis.

Trent Lott was driven from the minority leader spot for less than that.

And consider that Townes-Whitely, then a member of a group called the Third World Center, is now still a close friend of the first lady and a top executive of the company that obtained the no-bid contract to build the Obamacare website for more than half-a-billion dollars. In a recording taped by CNN, Obama is standing up after the event and asking the man next to him if he had given up smoking.

When the question is returned to him, Obama, in a light-hearted tone with a smile on his lips, said: "I haven't had a cigarette in probably six years. That's because I'm scared of my wife." Usually known for his fit figure and healthy lifestyle, Obama has long had a weakness for cigarettes and depicted himself as a smoker in his memoir of his youth, "Dreams From My Father." First lady Michelle Obama, a campaigner for public health, has been open about her distaste for her husband's smoking but said that he never lit up in front of their two daughters.

The man who is making his face well known to Americans as the chief investigator behind the Obama Administration's ever widening IRS scandal very well may have once been the beau years ago to a young law student by the name of Michelle Robinson, better known nowadays as Michelle Obama, as reported by Shane Goldmacher of the National Journal on May 22, 2013. 

J. Russell George is the man assigned as the Inspector General to the Department of the Treasury, and within his purview falls the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Much of that has been to the chagrin of more than a few within the IRS. George is viewed by many as the man who at least has been the catalyst for blowing the lid off the admitted IRS targeting of conservative groups with delays and harassment in their collective quests to gain charity (tax-exempt) status. 

Far from being a liberal Democrat, it turns out that the registered Republican has a bit of a history with the current First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS). While enrolled at the Harvard Law School during the 1980s, George eventually graduated alongside the current FLOTUS, and possibly more than just as friends and colleagues. 

The Inspector General has already admitted that besides the both of them being members of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at Harvard University, not that there should be anything exceptional or noteworthy of that.

 But the man who got his start in the world of politics working for the former Republican Senator from Kansas Bob Dole, did state: Michelle was a lovely person, and down to earth. The BLSA went out for pizza; we would go out together. Then after pausing for a moment, George interjected "Don't get me in trouble."

"I think he actually dated Michelle at one point," said the Republican former Congressman from Virginia Tom Davis who worked with George when he was assigned as the staff director for one of the many House oversight subcommittees in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Davis went on to describe George's temperament as "perfect" for the current crisis enveloping the Obama Administration's IRS. As Davis said: You couldn’t ask for a more fair umpire in this. Two Chechen brothers from Dagestan, members of a Wahhabi cell funded by Saudi al Qaeda, were identified as the terrorists who detonated two bombs at the Boston Marathon last Monday and carried out a bombing-shooting spree at the MIT campus in Waterton outside Boston, Friday, April 19, in which a police officer was killed. 

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, and Dzhohav Tsarnaev, 19, escaped the MIT campus in a hijacked SUV, chased by the police. As they threw explosives out of the window, critically injuring another police officer, police bullets hit the older brother, who died in custody. The younger one, identified earlier as “Suspect 2 in the white cap” made a run for it.

Warning he is armed and dangerous, the police hunt has placed parts of Boston, Watertown and other outlying towns under curfew and suspended public transport. Hundreds of law enforcement officers, federal agents, national and state police backed by helicopters are scouring the area door to door, backed by helicopters, after warning people to stay home and not open the door to strangers.

The Boston police stress that the event is still ongoing and the investigation is closely coordinated with Washington. The Chechen government denies the two brothers lived in their country and say the family left some years ago and finally settled in the United States. Boston officials report that the older brother has lived in the US for almost 10 years. The student won a scholarship in 2011 to study at a college in Cambridge.

The incident began with gun shots reported at 10:48 p.m. at Building 32 on Vassar Street near Main Street, off Kendall Square, when the two men armed with guns, explosives and wearing body armor were apparently about to seize the university building. The police officer who responded to the upset was shot dead.

The attack occurred shortly after the FBI released images of the two main Boston Marathon bombing suspects with an appeal to the public for information to identify them. Only later were they linked to the MIT event. A portrait photo of the wanted terrorist has just been released.

The FBI released Thursday images of two suspects filmed on the move at the site of the Boston Marathon bombings of Monday, April 15. The footage with stills has been widely distributed and an FBI Tipline set up. Public assistance in identifying the two youngish men is considered critical to the investigation.

FBI Agent Richard Deslauriers who is in charge of the investigation said Suspect 1 planted the first bomb, while a few seconds later, Suspect 2 was filmed placing a package at the site of the second, more powerful bomb, and walking away very fast. Both men are dangerous, he said, and should not be approached by the public

The images the FBI released of the two suspects have been floating around the Internet for the past 36 hours. And so the suspects must know they are being hunted. debkafile’s counterterrorism sources add that both have either gone to ground in a pre-arranged hideout or have left the United States. The way they walk behind each other as they pass through crowds without losing contact strongly recalls the formation maintained by the suicide bombers who blew up the London Tube train on July 7, 2007

Yesterday, terrorism expert Steve Emerson reported that the now infamous Saudi national Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi, who was briefly a ‘person of interest’ in the Boston marathon bombings, was scheduled for deportation next Tuesday.

A spokesman for ICE attempted to debunk this charge, which would seemingly discredit Emerson.

But alas, the government has been racking up quite a dubious history lately. At some point, its credibility must necessarily be incredible if this continues (didn’t the Obama administration blame a video for Benghazi attacks?). Now this…

Documents have been presented to Congress confirming that plans were made to revoke the visa of Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, a Saudi national once considered a “person of interest” in the Boston bombings, a congressional source told TheBlaze on Thursday.

Other sources, including one at the FBI, previously informed TheBlaze that there have been discussions about deporting Alharbi on “security and related grounds.” He has been living in the Boston area and in the U.S. on a student visa. An FBI source said the agency is against deporting Alharbi because of his status as a material witness.

The congressional source told TheBlaze it was unclear as to why representatives from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would be unaware of this information. Earlier on Thursday, an official with ICE said it was “categorically false” that Alharbi had ever been considered for deportation.

The congressional source, however, said the information sent to Congress showed that a file was created on “Abdul Rahman Ali Al Harby” at 4 p.m. on Tuesday by an official with the National Targeting Center, a counterterrorism sub-agency of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security. The file stated that the individual is “linked to the Boston bombing” and was to be processed for revocation of his visa based on national security grounds, the congressional source revealed.

Didn’t the FBI ask for tips?

Okaz, the same prominent Saudi newspaper, that published photos of Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi in the hospital after the Boston marathon bombings, is now reporting that the Saudi national was also visited by the first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama during his hospital stay.

Okaz stated further that the first lady also visited the other injured Saudi at the hospital, a female doctor named Nura Khalid Saleh al-Ajaji:

“Michelle Obama visited the two injured Saudis Abdulrahman Ali Essa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi and Nura Khalid Saleh Al-Ajjaji to check on their medical conditions.”

Adding credibility to this report seems to be multiple tweets made by the inner circle of the Al-harbi family: Now, contrarians to those with concerns about this visit will likely say that the first lady was simply paying visits to all the victims in the hospital, of which Alharbi was one and had been cleared two days earlier.

In light of recent reports that Alharbi was scheduled for deportation on ‘national security grounds’, the first lady’s visit takes on much added significance if those reports are true. We already know that the Alharbi clan consists of multiple Al-Qaeda members. This would seem to bolster the claims of scheduled deportation, not claims to the contrary made by the likes of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, who actually never really answered the question; she just got rankled and blew it off.

With the track record of this administration relative to things like blaming a video for two weeks after the Benghazi attacks, it should have a higher standard to meet and its credibility should be questioned by the American people.

If these reports about Alharbi’s scheduled deportation for such reasons are correct, a visit by the first lady of the United States would indeed be significant in its importance. It would also be a major national security blunder because of the message it would send.

In light of the exponential rise in the number of Saudi students in the U.S. since 2006, what kind of message does the first lady’s visit send to the more nefarious brand of Saudi students?

It would seem the American people should both require and demand full transparency from the administration when it comes to the issue of Alharbi’s alleged scheduled deportation as well as his connections to multiple Al-Qaeda members / leaders through his clan.Read the full story here and here.

The mass circulation Yedioth Ahronot newspaper reported that Ms Aynaw – who emigrated to Israel from Ethiopia with her Jewish grandparents after the death of her mother when she was 12 – would have the chance to exchange pleasantries with the president. She told the newspaper that Mr Obama's status as America's first black president had inspired her to make him the subject of her high school graduation essay.
"For me, he is a role model who broke down barriers, a source of inspiration that proves that every person really can reach any height, regardless of their religion, race or gender," she said.

The event will have symbolic resonance for Israel's 120,000-plus Jews of Ethiopian origin, who have protested that they are subject to frequent racial discrimination from their co-religionists.
Last month, the Israeli health ministry announced an investigation into allegations – first made in a television documentary – that Ethiopian women immigrants were forcibly given contraceptive injections to reduce birth rates within the community.

The majority of Israel's Ethiopian-origin community emigrated to the country, encouraged by the Israeli government, in two successive waves, in 1984 and 1991.
Mr Obama's desire to meet Ms Awnay is in stark contrast to a snub delivered to Israel's only settlement university, Ariel, in the West Bank.

The interviewer asks Aynaw, “What will you tell Obama when you meet him?”

Aynaw explains that she was very active while in high school – she was head of the student council – working on many different activities to help free Pollard. She explained to the interviewer that she knows the story very well, and that if she has the opportunity, “lama lo? (why not?)”

Hackers release financial records of first lady, vice president, AG Holder, others.(RT).When Gossip website TMZ first reported the leak on Monday,without disclosing the hacking site’s name, the list contained sensitive information for 11 prominent Americans: Celebrities Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher, Jay-Z and Beyonce, as well as public figures Joe Biden, Robert Mueller,Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck.

The number of victims of the hacking has increased by 6 over the day, with Michelle Obama now topping the list. The site does not explain why these particular individuals had their personal data leaked.

The website in question is Exposed.su, RT has learned. The ‘.su’ domain was country code for USSR for only a short period – from 1990 to 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed. The hackers’ website is linked to a twitter account partly written in bad Russian, as though the messages were translated by machine.

The page contains links to the names of the figures allegedly hacked, an image of a girl holding her forefinger up to her mouth,and a quote from the television program Dexter: "If you believet hat God makes miracles, you have to wonder if Satan has a few uphis sleeve.”

While most of the celebrities’ pictures on the website are unflattering ones, the clear exception is Michelle Obama, whose page shows an ‘I love Michelle Obama’ sign, and also an excuse  written above her personal data: “Blame your husband, we still love you, Michelle.
Among the specific details included in the data dump are the Social Security numbers and alleged home addresses and contact information for most of the celebrities, as well as their credit reports and other financial information.

Several of the purported credit reports appear to have been  generated last week, according to AP, which also said that the LosAngeles Police Department is investigating how the Social Security number, address and credit report of their police chief ended up onthe site. "The best word I can use to describe it is creepy," Los Angeles police Cmdr. Andrew Smith said in an interview with AP.

The LAPD also vowed to investigate leaks of personal info of any celebrities living in the city, if they make such a request. The FBI has so far declined to say whether it was investigating the leak of FBI Director Robert Mueller’s personal data.

For former first lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,hackers have released only her Social Security Number and places of residence. For other targets, though, the information leaked allows for much more of a glimpse into their finances. Although disclosures of financial details are not uncommon for government officials, or discussions of a celebrity’s net worth,the data made public is never as detailed as that disclosed by the Exposed.su hackers. The Iranian audience watching the live broadcast was shown the “Iranian redesign” of Michelle’s dress, with the censor made to conform to the country’s restrictions on images of the female body in the media.
Fars, which is affiliated to the Islamic republic's elite Revolutionary Guards, changed the U.S. first lady's dress to stand by rules stipulating that Iranian women shown on Iran's state television should have a hijab that covers their hair, arms and legs.

Obama Vacation Appears to be Delayed.(WhiteHouseDossier).By KeithKoffler.According to the Hawaii Reporter, officials had informed residents of Oahu that the usual Obama vacation-related restrictions on their travel would go into effect today and last until January 6. The White House has not announced specific vacation plans, though the restrictions are a good indicator of when they were planning to be in Hawaii.
The White House says Obama will be in Washington until at least Thursday – though it lists no specific events – so his vacation is unlikely to begin before then.
But given the current pace of fiscal cliff negotiations, it’s unlikely a deal will be reached until just before Christmas at the earliest. If Obama stays around until then, he may be faced with a vacation of less than two weeks instead of the three he appeared to hope for.
What is unclear is whether Michelle, at a huge cost to taxpayers, will decide as she has in the past to jet out to Hawaii separately from the president in order to fully realize her vacation plans.

It’s only hypothetical this point, but a survey done by Public Policy Polling gives Mrs. Obama the lead over Sen. Mark Kirk 51 to 40 percent, should she choose to challenge Kirk in 2016 for an Illinois senate seat.

If Michelle Obama decided she wanted to follow the Hillary Clinton route once her husband leaves office in 2016 and go to the Senate, she’d have the upper hand on Mark Kirk. She leads him 51/40 in a hypothetical head to head. Kirk’s approval numbers are ok with 34% of voters approving of him to 19% who disapprove. But those numbers are no match for the first lady, who’s seen positively by 60% of voters to 33% with a negative one.
First Lady Michelle Obama has never indicated any interest in seeking political office.
Still, she’s viewed positively by 6 in 10 voters in Illinois.
Kirk, who has been sidelined from Capitol Hill for nearly a year since suffering a debilitating stroke, has a 34 percent approval and 19 percent disapproval rating.

Last year she was hailed as one of the most influential people in the world - a defender of women's rights as Afghanistan's only female head prosecutor. Ms Bashir has been lauded by both Michelle Obama and Hilary Clinton - and she was one of ten women to receive a 'Women of Courage' Award in Washington last year.

But Maria Bashir's reputation is now in doubt after the Times revealed that Ms Bashir is also the most prolific prosecutor of women for Afghanistan's so-called 'moral' crimes, such as adultery. 

While Ms Bashir campaigns against abuse husbands, more than half of the 172 women jailed in Afghanistan for sex outside of marriage (known as 'zina') have come from her province. The Herat province's population stands at an estimated 1.7million, and Afghanistan as a whole has a population of 35million.
Last week Ms Bashir, who became lead prosecutor in 2006, and has prosecuted nearly a third of the 78 women jailed for murder in Afghanistan, was promoted to become Herat's attorney-general.
The Times said diplomats are 'shocked' by the extraordinary tally of women imprisoned for adultery. It further says that 101 out of 136 women serving in Herat's women jail are there for adultery, one of the moral crimes which campaigners for women's rights are trying to remove from Afghanistan When she received her award, the two presidential wives said: 'Ms Bashir has waged a determined campaign against crime and corruption. 'She stands out as a champion of judicial transparency and women's rights, and exemplifies the resilience of Afghan women.' When the Times contacted Ms Bashir, she said she was unaware that her prosecution rate was so much higer than other provinces, but blamed it on her province's closeness to the border with Iran. Pakistan - Attack on women’s education: Mukhtaran Mai tells about similar threats.(PE).MULTAN:Mukhtaran Mai has said she has been facing death threats recently, and that her female students and fellow teachers have been facing the same threats Malala Yousafzai faced before her attack.
Mukhtaran Mai disclosed the information during a press conference at Muzaffargarh district press club on Friday.
She said that just four days earlier, her senior teachers had been attacked by militants. Because they could not find Mai, they just attacked the building and destroyed the rooms and windows instead, she said.
“I have been voluntarily operating in Meerwala which is a vocational institute,”said Mai. “My teachers and I have been continuously receiving death threats to close the school to female students of the area and the vocational institute. They have accused me of spreading vulgarity and prostitution in society,” she said.
She also revealed that the percentage of female students who were initially encouraged by her efforts since 2002 have since dropped by half in the last two years. She blamed the decrease on threats. Mai said female students and their families have been receiving death threats from militants and extremists residing in the area.
She said the Mukhtaran Mai Girls High School and Vocational Institute currently has 700 female students enrolled. Saluting the efforts of Malala Yousafzai, Mukhtaran Mai vowed that she will continue to fight for the rights of women and against discrimination, and will continue to fight all threats she faces. She blamed local police for failing to provide security despite being informed of the situation.
Earlier, police officials had ordered a police check post for the security of Mukhtaran Mai’s school in 2002, at which time 18 police personnel remained on hand all the time for the school’s security. A total of 36 personnel were deployed in different shifts. That force has now been reduced to just three security personnel for 24 hours........Less than 1% of police officials are women!
However, according to Mukhtaran Mai, there is currently no security available and anyone can verify her statement by visiting the area.
Mai has also been running a women’s crisis centre in the same area which is near closure due to lack of funds. She has pleaded for a grant to keep it open as well as security for the centre.
Mukhtaran Mai blamed Zeeshan Asghar, DPO Muzaffarhgarh, for failing to provide security to the female residents and students of the area. Country wide complaints Mount Against Michelle Obama’s New Lunch Menu.(TH).In Wisconsin, high school athletes are complaining about not getting enough to eat each day, due to the skimpy new school lunch menu mandated by the United States Department of Agriculture and First Lady Michelle Obama.

The story we published earlier this week on that subject is unfortunately not unique. Students across the country are complaining about the new school lunch regulations.
Perhaps the real motive is to starve students into slimming down. Just ask students in Pierre, South Dakota who, too, are in an all-out revolt.
"I know a lot of my friends who are just drinking a jug of milk for their lunch. And they are not getting a proper meal," middle school student Samantha Gortmaker told Keloland.com.
Despite the fact that the new regulations have increased the cost of a lunch 20 to 25 cents per plate, it’s not pleasing students.
Some are throwing away their vegetables while others are adapting to the rules by becoming industrious. In New Bedford, Massachusetts, students have created a black market - for chocolate syrup. The kiddie capitalists are smuggling in bottles of it and selling it by the squeeze, according to SouthCoastToday.com.
Nancy Carvalho, director of food services for New Bedford Public Schools, was quoted as saying that hummus and black bean salads have been tough sells in elementary cafeterias. That means even smaller children are going through the day fighting hunger pains, which can never be considered a good thing.One government official tried to put the blame on the students.

 "One thing I think we need to keep in mind as kids say they're still hungry is that many children aren't used to eating fruits and vegetables at home, much less at school. So it's a change in what they are eating. We still need to find a way to impact the nature of food in grocery stores, in terms of sugar, fat, and salt.” Mrs. Obama also discussed the challenge of “educating families” on healthy lifestyles in a society where “TV is rampant.” “[W]e need to keep educating families about how to structure a life that is healthy in a society where TV is rampant and communities don’t have enough resources in terms of sports and activities,” she said. As CNSNews.com previously reported, Mrs. Obama’s “Lets Move!” campaign has published an online guide called “Supermarket Shopping 101” that provides tips for shoppers on the importance of making a list and how to navigate a grocery store. “Steer clear of the cookie, snack and soda aisle until after you’ve collected everything on your list--at that point, your cart should be full, which might make you feel less tempted to buy things you don’t need,” the guide states.
During her time as first lady, Mrs. Obama has made her anti-obesity campaign a top priority. But in the interview with Parade, Mrs. Obama said that in a second term she would add “women’s health issues” to her list. “How do we strengthen families and make them healthier—an issue not just in America but around the world,” she said.
