Regardless of the current controversy and behind-the-scenes tension, A&E has every intention of keeping Phil Robertson on the air.

A source close to the situation confirmed that when the network resumes airing new episodes of Duck Dynasty starting Jan. 15, footage featuring the Robertson patriarch will indeed remain intact. The network also hopes the media and fan furor will cool down over the holidays and that tensions over shooting future episodes can then be resolved.

“There’s no negotiation to have; we’re doing the show,” said an insider close to the situation. “We’ll figure out a solution. It’s just not going to happen overnight. Everybody will take a break for the holidays and regroup afterward. That’s probably the smartest thing for everyone to do. Time heals a lot of wounds.”

The Robertson family hasn’t sounded as optimistic, with a source close to the Louisiana duck call clan telling E!: “They’re an extremely tight-knit family and they’re not going to let this get in the way. [Phil] is the reason for their success—they’re not going to abandon him. They’re also not about to let anyone threaten their religious beliefs.” A representative for the family could not be reached for comment.Hmmm....Liberals...No experts in Honor, faith and family ties.

Hundreds of worshippers at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa mosque responded with cries of “Allah Akbar” (God is Great) to Imam Ismat Al-Hammouri’s calls for the destruction of America, France, Britain, and Rome, during a prayer gathering marking the start of Ramadan on Friday. 

A video that was posted on the Internet on July 12, and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), shows Al-Hammouri inciting the crowd in the Old City with calls to conquer and destroy the enemies of the “Nation of Islam.” “We warn you, oh America: Take your hands off the Muslims. You have wreaked havoc in Syria, and before that, in Afghanistan and in Iraq, and now in Egypt,” shouted the cleric to the enthusiastic replies of the crowd. “Who do you think we are, America? We are the nation of Islam — a giant and mighty nation, which extends from east to west. Soon, we will teach you a political and military lesson, Allah willing. Allah Akbar. All glory to Allah.” Al-Hammouri, who belongs to the Jerusalem-based Pan-Islamic Hizb ut-Tahrir (Party of Liberation) organization, went on to warn US president Barak Obama of the rise of the Islamic caliphate, a united Muslim empire that will impose religious law on all of its subjects. The four-minute video also shows demonstrators chanting “Oh Obama, listen up. The Caliphate shall return. Our nation will never be humiliated. We want to cleanse it of the impure.” The gathering was touted as a demonstration of support for former Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi, who was ousted from office by the military on July 3 after massive opposition demonstrations across Egypt. Participants held up posters of the Muslim Brotherhood-backed leader amid cries of “Down with peaceful solutions,” and assertions that “Whoever negotiates with America… is a collaborator and a coward.” Hizb ut-Tahrir was founded in 1953 and has an estimated million members across 40 countries.

A mob stormed the US consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi on Tuesday, killing US ambassador Christopher Stevens and several other staff members. On Thursday a crowd stormed the American embassy complex in Yemeni capital Sanaa before being driven out by police. "We have beefed up the security for the possible threats to the US embassy," Khurram Rasheed, a senior police official responsible for diplomats' security in Islamabad, told AFP.
"We expect some protests against the embassy tomorrow and we are preparing to handle that." The US embassy in Islamabad lies inside the city's heavily-fortified diplomatic enclave, and Rasheed said the entrance would be closed and extra security forces deployed. In the eastern city of Lahore, police said they have issued an alert to protect the US consulate. "The security is already tight but we have issued an alert to be careful for any urgent situation," Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani, senior police official responsible for security, told AFP.
"We are also gathering information (on) whether some organisations are planning to organise some protests. In that case, we will take further measures to protect the US consulate." The low-budget movie, entitled "Innocence of Muslims", which has sparked fury across the Muslim world, portrays followers of the faith as immoral and gratuitously violent. It pokes fun at the Prophet Mohammed and touches on themes of paedophilia and homosexuality, while showing him sleeping with women and talking about killing children. Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar criticised the film. "We have always promoted inter-faith harmony but desecration of any type is always condemned by Pakistan and we are very, very strongly condemning," she said when asked about her government's reaction to the disputed film. In the northwestern city of Peshawar, where anti-US sentiments run high and a car bomb attack on a US consulate vehicle killed two people on September 3, authorities said they were "cautious" about the developing situation. The patrolling of police around the consulate in the southern port city Karachi was also stepped up. The recording, given to BuzzFeed by a Republican source, comes from a lecture on the nature of community values he delivered at Nebraska Wesleyan University on September 9, 1994.

Obama told the students in Lincoln, Neb. that "values are dynamic,"and he dismissed appeals from everyone from Bill Clinton to Dan Quayle to "static" or "Ozzie and Harriet" values. Obama suggested those values — "The wife is at home, she’s not working, Dad’s got his 9 to 5, there are no African-Americans in these family values." — were woefully out of date.

Obama argued that the talk of values was empty without social action, and without a vigorous government role: "It’s not easy to live up to your ideals, it requires sacrifice. It may require taxes on the part of the society. It may require that you go without certain luxuries that you become accustomed to."

"There’s no discussion of poverty in these values," Obama said. "There’s not much talk about a nuclear arms race that was taking place on the television programs," he said. "So the notion is that we can somehow return to that time and recapture those values without acknowledging all the things that were left out. Well, that’s not the case."

Obama also offered students an early glimpse of his own story, one that he said he would be putting in a memoir whose working title he gave as "Mixing Blood: Stories of Inheritance." (It was published the next year as "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.")

“When I was your age, I was an angry young man who thought that I had all kinds of values," Obama recounts. "I was a leader of student protest and I wore [inaudible] and had a big afro. And when I look at pictures of the time I’m always a little embarrassed. You know I would read philosophers like Sarte."
Obama goes on to recount trashing a university dorm room and leaving a mess for the cleaning staff in a effort to describe his only failures to practice what he preached.
The recording gives a glimpse of Obama before he began calibrating his political positions to a statewide and then national audience, a journey that moved him right on a range of issues including marriage — he endorsed same-sex marriage, and then opposed it, before endorsing it again this year.Read and see the full story here.

During his term, Obama has missed all but one deadline to deliver his annual budget and midsession review. This week marks another year in which the President missed both deadlines.
This consistent track record of missing statutory budget obligations is another indicator of the President’s lack of concern for the nation’s deteriorating fiscal situation.
Each year, the President of the United States is required to submit his budget on or after the first Monday in January but not later than the first Monday in February. While other Presidents have been late as well, President Obama’s tardiness has set several new records:

• First President to deliver three budgets late in just one term. President Obama has delivered all of his fiscal year (FY) budgets—except FY 2011—late.
• First President to deliver two budgets late in a row. President Obama delivered both the FY 2012 and the FY 2013 budgets after deadline.
• First President to take an extra 98 days to deliver his transition year budget. While a President’s first-year budget submission is delayed for practical reasons—there is not enough time between entering office and the budget deadline—President Obama’s first budget was delivered more than 30 days later than any other President’s budget.

Concerning midsession reviews, President Obama’s record is no better. Each year, the President is also required to submit a supplemental summary of the budget for the fiscal year, including any changes made, before July 16. It’s July 18, and Congress has yet to receive the President’s obligatory midsession review. In fact, President Obama has never delivered a midsession review on time.
President Obama not only delays his budgets but, most importantly, delays dealing with the nation’s spending and debt crisis. In the last budget President Obama submitted, he failed to deal with the biggest drivers of the nation’s debt—the entitlement programs—while making proposals that would further exacerbate our economic and fiscal situation with vast tax hikes, more spending, and more debt.

Obama Admin Looks to Expand Permits for Killing Bald Eagles to Accommodate Wind Energy.(Heritage).The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, a division of the Interior Department, is considering loosening regulations on the killing of bald eagles, the national bird of the United States, to accommodate the development of wind energy sources.
A draft regulation first filed in April would allow businesses to apply for 30-year permits allowing them to kill bald eagles in the course of other legal activities. The length of those permits would be a six-fold increase over the five-year window allowed under current law.
The USFWS explains at FederalRegister.gov:

We have reviewed applications from proponents of renewable energy projects, such as wind and solar power facilities, for programmatic permits to authorize eagle take that may result from both the construction and ongoing operations of renewable energy projects. During our review, it became evident that the 5-year term limit imposed by the 2009 regulations (see 50 CFR 22.26(h)) needed to be extended to better correspond to the timeframe of renewable energy projects.

Current law allows permitting for “programmatic” killing of bald eagles, which “is recurring, is not caused solely by indirect effects, and that occurs over the long term or in a location or locations that cannot be specifically identified.”
The USFWS notes that permits “may authorize lethal take that is incidental to an otherwise lawful activity, such as mortalities caused by collisions with rotating wind turbines.”
According to the regulation, measures will be taken to attempt to minimize bald eagle mortalities, and additional actions may be authorized if mortalities exceed “anticipated” levels. USFWS began investigating numerous bald eagle deaths associated with wind turbines in early 2012.

Special Inspector General for TARP “It is a widely held misconception that TARP will make a profit,”.(JW).While the Obama Administration laughably claims that its disastrous bank bailout has turned a profit, a federal investigation reveals this week that hundreds of small financial institutions can’t afford to repay the government loans and its costing U.S. taxpayers tens of billions of dollars.
This is hardly earth-shattering news considering the well-documented history of the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relieve Program (TARP), the president’s brilliant idea to rescue the nation’s ailing financial institutions. Instead, it’s turned out to be a troubling experiment of U.S. tax dollars with virtually no oversight.
In the last few years a variety of federal probes have documented that TARP is severely mismanaged and that its rife with waste and abuse. In fact, a 2009 TARP Inspector General report revealed that dozens of criminal investigations had been launched into the controversial bailout experiment and that the risk would only grow. The probes have centered on securities fraud, tax law violations, mortgage modification fraud and insider trading involving recipients of the federal money.
A separate audit—by the Congressionally-created panel charged with overseeing the Treasury’s actions—divulged that the government actually paid collapsed mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac $240 million to help “administer” TARP. Think about it! These are the scandal-plagued mortgage companies that were seized by the government in 2008 getting millions more from taxpayers to “administer” yet another fraud-infested federal program.
This week the Special Inspector General for TARP revealed that the monstrous bailout program’s losses stand at about $60 billion and that financial institutions owe Uncle Sam a whopping $118.5 billion. Furthermore, hundreds of small banks can’t afford to repay the federal bailout loans so taxpayers will get stuck with the exorbitant tab, according to the TARP inspector general. Just last month the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated that TARP would lose $32 billion.
TARP’s IG disclosed the latest figures to Congress in a 330-page report that outlines the bailout’s monumental failures. “It is a widely held misconception that TARP will make a profit,” the IG writes in the report. It goes on to say: “While TARP and other government responses to the financial crisis may have prevented the immediate collapse of our financial and auto manufacturing industries, and improved stability since 2008, the trade-off is not without profound long-term consequences.” A significant legacy of TARP is increased moral hazard and potentially disastrous consequences associated with institutions deemed ‘too big to fail.”’
Judicial Watch has been a frontrunner in investigating the administration’s handling of the nation’s financial crisis and has sued the U.S. Treasury Department to obtain records related to evaluation procedures used by the government to determine which financial institutions get TARP funds. You see it everywhere you look today, if you bother to look that is… Gas prices are at close to an average of $4 a gallon and in parts of California, it is now hitting $7, with no end in sight. Food inflation that is rising so precipitously, it takes your breath away – but the government says there is no inflation.
In the world that is America now, all things seem to be upside down and sliding full-blown out of control. This includes the Communist who is our current Commander-in-Chief. He claims he is drilling for oil, when the opposite is true. He is blocking all of it and piling so many regulations on our coal plants in lockstep with his bud, Cass Sunstein, that they are shutting down as well. Lie after lie after infernal lie.
As for unemployment, the government is manipulating the hell out of those numbers in an attempt to calm the sheep before the slaughter. They claim it has fallen to 8.2%. Take a long look at the U6 rate, which tracks not only those out of work, but those who’ve essentially given up looking for work. It currently sits at 14.5% – close to double what is being claimed by our ‘progressive’ leadership. Real unemployment stands at closer to 19.1% and is perhaps substantially higher than that.
People are giving up on finding work. A second, even more brutal wave of foreclosures is also on the horizon. Real hunger is coming to the US and hard times that will make the Great Depression seem like the good ole days are pounding on our door. A majority of states are now close to being unable to cover pensions and other entitlements as well as expenses. Bankruptcy is an understatement for what these states are facing. So, to “solve” the problem, a number of them are taxing more which makes it worse and worse. All the while, the rising flood of fuel prices surges against the levee.
When truckers cannot fill their tanks anymore because of the cost, store shelves will become barren wastelands. Real food deserts. When people get hungry, especially when their children are hungry, they get mean and desperate. Just what the Progressives had in mind. Violence, chaos and mayhem in the streets.
So, you say… the election is not far off and we can get rid of Obama then. Maybe, maybe not… I understand a company owned at least in part by Soros will be handling voting results. It doesn’t take a genius to see how that would be manipulated. Then there is a potential war with Iran. If Obama feels his reelection is in jeopardy, war with Iran will look like just the right emergency. Or, there could be any other number of emergencies, real or ginned up like the Trayvon Martin murder that is sparking racial unrest.
If nothing else, the debt we owe will literally drag us into hell all by itself. We’re broke and we aren’t going back to yesteryear anytime soon. That would take massive cuts and pain and no one with that kind of spine exists today in our government. But until the last penny is stolen and the last party is thrown by the Progressives, they will keep spending until there is nothing left but death, war, famine and blood. And they are okay with that, trust me. The White House news briefing referred to in this report occurred this past Thursday (5 April) when Obama regime officials were queried about the latest shock downgrade of the United States credit rating stating that to the American people this critical event should be kept in the category of a “non-story” so as not to confuse and/or shock them. Most surprisingly, this report continues, the mainstream US news media, including their most important television networks and major newspapers, dutifully followed the directives of the Obama regime and failed to uniformly inform the American people of this momentous event. Credit rating agency Egan Jones downgraded the United States Thursday on concern over the sustainability of public debt. Egan Jones is one of the most important ratings firms in the world; they lowered our credit level from AA+ to AA. The firm reduced America from AAA to AA+ in July 2011, just before Standard and Poor's did the same. Egan Jones warned. "Without some structural changes soon, restoring credit quality will become increasingly difficult . . . without some structural changes soon, restoring credit quality will become increasingly difficult." They added that there was a 1.2% probability of U.S default in the next 12 months. The company cited the fact that the US’s total debt, which now equals its total GDP, is rising and soon will eclipse the national GDP; the company sees the debt rising to 112% of the GDP by 2014. Most sadly in all of these events, the once great United States, whose press freedoms were once legendary, has been placed at No. 47 on the world’s press freedom index by the internationally respected Reporters Without Borders (RSF) organization in a stunning move reflecting how deprived of real truth the American people truly are. The great American Founding Father Thomas Jefferson once warned his fellow citizens, “Our liberty cannot be guarded but by the freedom of the press, nor that be limited without danger of losing it.” With that warning going unheeded, however, the quote of the great American author Mark Twain seems to be the more appropriate one to use for this American generation, “There are laws to protect the freedom of the press’s speech, but none that are worth anything to protect the people from the press.”~ Hmmm.......Forgive me but i'll go for this more appropriate quote: “Withholding information is the essence of tyranny.
