Obama is looking to replace King Abdullah of Jordan with the Muslim Brotherhood .

Obama is looking to replace King Abdullah of Jordan with the Muslim Brotherhood.(IsraPundit).By Ted Belman.I have just received reliable information from a certain insider that a meeting was held two weeks ago in Turkey attended by the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood, Qatar and CIA. Allegedly, Israel’s Mosad sat in as an observer. The attendees discussed what they want to happen in Jordan when the King falls. The MB was asked specifically whether it would uphold the peace treaty with Israel if it came to power and they said yes. Furthermore the MB offered to take in many Palestinians from Judea and Samaria. It struck me that this is exactly what Mudar Zahran is intending to do should he come to power. The MB is obviously following his playbook. From a different source I heard that Obama is putting financial pressure on Abdullah so that he will fall. Obama wants to replace him with the MB. Mudar Zahran says he cannot see how the Muslim Brotherhood will come to power in Jordan. They are are mostly East Bank Jordanians and are hated by the Palestinians. The Palestinians will never vote for the MB. Zahran said he could not comment nor confirm that such a meeting took place, nonetheless, he said if it turns out to be true, then Obama is betting on losing horse.Hmmmm.....Who needs enemies with 'friends'like Obama?Caliphat.....anyone?Read the full story here.

'Adult Breastfeeding Fatwa' Cleric & adviser dismissed by Saudi king after recent remarks against reforms for women.

'Adult Breastfeeding Fatwa'  Cleric and adviser dismissed by Saudi king after recent remarks against reforms for women.(Yahoo).RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has dismissed a controversial ultraconservative adviser after he publicly criticized reforms aimed at easing restrictions on women, the kingdom's state media reports. Sheik Abdul-Mohsen al-Obeikan had told a local radio station that officials were working to Westernize and secularize the country's laws by "legalizing taboos." "This situation is a very dangerous one that is linked to schemes by influential people to corrupt Muslim society by removing women from their natural position," he said in remarks recently broadcast on the station UFM. The official Saudi Press Agency reported Friday al-Obeikan's dismissal without giving further details. King Abdullah has irked the country's hardline clerics by easing some restrictions and allowing women to vote and run in 2015 municipal elections. After his dismissal, al-Obeikan posted on his Twitter account a statement saying he hopes that the kingdom's rulers are kept away from "bad advisers." Saudi Arabia, home to Islam's holiest sites, implements a strict interpretation of the religion and prohibits unrelated men and women from mingling. But those restrictions are enforced sporadically. This year the kingdom began to apply a 2006 law that banned men from working in lingerie and apparel stores after complaints by women about having to buy those items from men behind the counter. Hardliners had opposed more women in the workplace. The separation of men and women is also relaxed in other sectors of the work force. Women work as engineers, doctors, nurses and a range of other posts. The former adviser, 81, sparked an uproar in 2010 when he said that a woman could be alone or even appear without her veil in front of an unrelated adult male if he drinks her breast milk because it establishes a mother-son bond in Islamic tradition. That reasoning is rejected by most Islamic scholars.Read the full story here.

MK Eldad tells US: Prepare for Jordan's King Abdullah’s Fall.

MK Eldad tells US: Prepare for Jordan's King Abdullah’s Fall.(INN).MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union) told U.S. Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro on Wednesday that the plan for two countries west of the Jordan River has reached a dead end.
Eldad advised him to talk to his higher-ups in Washington about the need to develop an alternative plan, with an emphasis on opportunities that will open up when Hashemite rule in Jordan ends, and Jordan will become the Palestinian nation state.Previous statements on the subject by Eldad caused anger in Jordan.
Shapiro was the guest of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. When reporters asked him about Jonathan Pollard, who has been languishing for more than 25 years in an American jail for passing secret information to Israel, Shapiro said he does not want to speculate in the matter and does not know how the matter will be resolved.
MK Meir Sheetrit (Kadima) wanted to know why MK Michael Ben-Ari failed to receive a U.S. entry visa while Iran's Mahmoud Ahmedinejad and Hamas officials are allowed in, Shapiro answered that he does not deal with these matters,.Read the full story here.

‘Friends of Syrian People’ kicks off in Tunis; Saudi delegation pulls out citing ‘inactivity’

‘Friends of Syrian People’ kicks off in Tunis; Saudi delegation pulls out citing ‘inactivity’.(AlArabiya).The Saudi delegation withdrew from the “Friends of the Syrian People” meeting in Tunis over what it saw as the gathering’s “inactivity”, Al Arabiya reported.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal left the meeting after saying in a speech that focusing on humanitarian aid to Syria was “not enough.”“There is no other means but transferring power either voluntarily or by force. Is it justice to offer aid and leave the Syrians to the killing machine? ” he said.
Faisal said that the Syrian regime has lost legitimacy and turned into an occupation-like authority. “My country will not take part in an action that will not lead to the quick protection of the Syrians,” he said.Faisal said that giving weapons to the Syrian opposition facing a violent crackdown by government forces is an excellent idea, according to Reuters.
Asked if he thought arming the Syrian opposition was a good idea, the Saudi minister said: “I think it's an excellent idea.”
Asked why, he said: “Because they have to protect themselves.”
Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani backed calls at the conference for an Arab peacekeeping force in Syria.
We want this meeting to be a start to stopping the violence in Syria and this cannot be done except after the formation of an international Arab force to maintain security, the opening of secure humanitarian corridors to bring aid to the Syrian people and the application of Arab League decisions,” he told the meeting.
Arab League chief Nabil al-Araby called on the U.N. Security Council to issue an urgent resolution calling for a ceasefire in Syria.“This conference should make practical moves and prioritize the issuance of an urgent Security Council resolution for a ceasefire,” he told the opening session of the meeting in Tunis.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu called on the world to find ways to deny the Syrian government “the means with which to perpetrate atrocities against the Syrian people.”“We must seek ways and means of enforcing an arms embargo upon the regime,” Davutoglu told the meeting in the Tunisian capital. He said a significant number of countries taking part in the meeting, including Turkey, had already put into effect such measures, but a broader effort was needed.Hmmm......."May you live in interesting times?"Like it or not, we live in interesting times.Read the full story here.

Saudi’s King Abdullah tells Pres. Medvedev dialogue on Syria ‘futile’

Saudi’s King Abdullah tells Pres. Medvedev dialogue on Syria ‘futile’.(AA).Saudi’s King Abdullah told Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Wednesday that dialogue on Syria was “futile,” the official SPA news agency reported, hinting at the need for action to halt the bloodshed.
Russia should have “coordinated with the Arabs... before using the veto” to block a resolution on Syria in the U.N. Security Council, King Abdullah was quoted as saying.
“But now, dialogue about what is happening in Syria is futile,” the Saudi monarch told Medvedev in a telephone discussion on the escalating bloodshed.
According to the report, the king told Medvedev that Saudi Arabia “will never abandon its religious and moral obligations towards what’s happening.”The Kremlin released a statement earlier on Wednesday saying the two leaders exchanged views about the situation in the Middle East in light of the events in Syria, but gave no further details.
King Abdullah’s statements came as Syria’s main opposition group urged the international community to create safe havens in the country and said that military intervention might be the “only option” to end a brutal crackdown.
At a news conference in Paris, the Syrian National Council said it would attend a meeting in Tunis on Friday of the countries known as the “Friends of Syria” and ask for safe zones to protect civilians and allow the opposition to organize. It also called on Russia to force President Bashar al-Assad’s regime to allow access for humanitarian convoys.
Earlier this month, the king condemned Russia and China for vetoing a previous United Nations Security Council resolution aimed at ending the Syrian government’s deadly repression of a nearly year-old uprising which has left more than 6,000 people dead.“We are going through scary days and unfortunately what happened at the United Nations is absolutely regrettable,” King Abdullah said in the short nationally televised address. “No matter how powerful, countries cannot rule the whole world,” the king said in his speech, as translated by AFP. “The world is ruled by brains by justice, by morals and by fairness.”Meanwhile, Medvedev and his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in telephone talks on Wednesday that they reject foreign intervention in the Syria crisis, the Kremlin said.‘The sides spoke out in favor of the quickest resolution of the crisis by the Syrian people themselves through exclusively peaceful means and without foreign intervention,’ the Kremlin said in a statement.Hmmm......."May you live in interesting times?"Like it or not, we live in interesting times.Read the full story here.

  • Revolution one on one!Saudi King Abdullah orders to buy Facebook for $150 billion to end the revolt. In what is being termed as pure Wall street Gordon Gecko tactics, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has decided to make an offer of $150 billion to buy out Facebook. Inside sources within the kingdom suggest that he is very upset with Mark Zukerberg for allowing the revolt to get out of control. In a personal meeting between Mark Zuckerberg and King Abdullah on Jan 25, 2011, Zuckerberg had promised that he would not allow any revolt pages to be formed on Facebook even while he allowed Egypt and Libya revolt pages to be formed. But little did King Abdullah know Zuckerberg. Had he seen the movie “Social Network”, he would have been better advised than to trust Zuckerberg.Left with no option, Abdullah advised by Goldman Sachs has decided to buy out Facebook and “clean out the weeds”. The offer on the table is $150 billion. Facebook balance sheet was shown to King Abdullah and his kingdom advisors had mentioned that it is not even worth $1 billion given that it generates no profit. But the King threw the report into the dustbin and fired his advisors and decided to hand over the investment banking mandate to Goldman Sachs who put the value at $150 billion. The deal will be all cash. It is worthwhile to remind our readers that Goldman Sachs had invested into Facebook at an unimaginable $50 billion valuation.According Goldman report, the many advantages of buying out Facebook far outweighs the cost of the transaction. Goldman Sachs made a presentation to King Abdullah of how the facebook could be used to cement his position for ever. Never again will his kingdom see another revolt. The presentation also involved some Facebook pages of bikini clad models profile among other profiles. Sources reveal that King Abdullah had made up his mind immediately and spoke to Lloyd Blankfein to complete the transaction as soon as possible. We are yet to hear back from Mark Zuckerberg on the offer though. But most analysts believe that Zuckerberg will not take the offer and will wait for King Abdullah to up the offer to at least $500billion. In the meanwhile king Abdullah has now logged on the Facebook and was buzy profiling some of the models in the Goldman Sachs presentation.Hmmmm......Good move your majesty.Read the full story here.HT:TundraTabloids.

  • Your parents should have been gassed: Fresh video emerges of designer John Galliano’s racist ranting at Jewish women in Parisian bar.An explosive new video emerged today of British fashion designer John Galliano telling two young women he believed to be Jews: ‘Your parents should have been gassed’, and ‘I love Hitler’.The devastating film was shot in La Perle – the same Paris bar where the 50-year-old is said to have called another woman a ‘dirty Jew face’ and ‘ugly, disgusting whore’ with no dress sense, while threatening to kill her and her boyfriend last Thursday.Mr Galliano attended a Paris police station to meet his accusers, who have launched a criminal complaint of ‘causing injury of an anti-Semitic and racist nature.’Mr Galliano, who has been suspended from his job as chief designer at Christian Dior pending an enquiry, has in turn accused the couple of defamation. But the emergence of the video – which has been seen by journalists in Paris – will be a severe blow to Mr Galliano’s legal fight to clear his name.It was shot in La Perle in December, with Mr Galliano clearly the worse for drink as he launched his tirade. Nursing a glass while sitting alone at a table, Mr Galliano refers to the Nazi Holocaust ordered by Adolf Hitler during the Second World War, in which six million Jews were murdered. Galliano says to the women: ‘People like you would be dead, your mothers, your forefathers would all be fucking gassed. I love Hitler.’When one of the women asks ‘Do you have a problem?’, Mr Galliano replies: ‘With you, you’re ugly.’The same woman says: ‘Where are you from ?’, and Mr Galliano replies: ‘Your arsehole’.Neither of the two women shouted at by Mr Galliano were, in fact, Jewish. One of their male companions started videoing the incident because he was so shocked by what Mr Galliano was saying.Hmmmm......That "outreach to Muslims" brought about an enormous increase of Anti semitisme.Read the full story here.

  • Boehner rips bid to regulate Internet.Mark A. Kellner. The Washington Times.NASHVILLE, Tenn. | House Speaker John A. Boehner lashed out against efforts to regulate Internet traffic before an audience of evangelical Christian media leaders and pointedly responded to President Obama by comparing the challenge of the burgeoning national debt to the Sputnik-era space race.In a speech to religious broadcasters that received a sustained ovation at his conclusion, he said free expression is under attack by a power structure in Washington populated with regulators who have never set foot inside a radio station or a television studio.“We see this threat in how the FCC is creeping further into the free market by trying to regulate the Internet,” Mr. Boehner said.“The last thing we need, in my view, is the FCC serving as Internet traffic controller, and potentially running roughshod over local broadcasters who have been serving their communities with free content for decades,” he said to loud applause from members of the National Religious Broadcasters, a trade group holding its annual convention here.Hmmmm.....Take away all tools from the Obama regime.Read the full story here.HT: PrisonPlanet.

  • HT:AhmadiyyaTimes.Indonesia: 'Best to disband Ahmadiyah,' Religious Minister up to old tricks.Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara. Religious Affairs Minister Suryadharma Ali told a gathering of Islamic leaders on Sunday that the Ahmadiyah sect should be outlawed, but that the government did not have the power to make the decision. To shouts of “Disband Ahmadiyah” from an audience that included the heads of about 500 Islamic boarding schools and the leaders of at least nine Islamic organizations, the minister seemed to urge religious leaders to take the lead in pushing for the minority Islamic sect to be disbanded.“We [the government] do not have the right to disband Ahmadiyah,” he said. “That right lies in the hands of you esteemed ulema. We, the government, only have the right to regulate and control, not to disband or excommunicate.”Suryadharma told the audience in Mataram, Lombok, which included leaders from the Indonesian Council of Ulema (MUI), Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah and Hizbut Tahrir, that MUI branches across the country had declared Ahmadiyah a deviant sect.On those grounds, he said, any request by religious leaders to have the sect disbanded was reasonable and had his approval. The minister’s statement came on the same day that Habib Rizieq, leader of the hard-line Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), called on Muslims nationwide to attend a march on Tuesday demanding the banning of Ahmadiyah.“If we leave them the way the are, the problem will only become much bigger. Ahmadiyah deserves to be disbanded".“Once they are disbanded, harmony will be guaranteed. I have pushed members of Ahmadiyah to form a new sect that is devoid of any and all attributes of Islam, not to ever use the word or symbol of the mosque in any of their prayer halls, and never to accept the Koran as their holy book if they call themselves Ahmadiyah. My preference would be that they all leave Ahmadiyah and follow the right path by entering into Islam.”“ The problem now is that those who oppose Ahmadiyah are fighting against those campaigning for religious freedom,” he said. “If we work toward disbanding [Ahmadiyah], those fighting for religious freedom will accuse the government of getting in the way of religious freedom.“So my question is, does religious freedom mean the freedom to insult someone else’s religion and rewrite the teachings of someone’s religion?”Hmmmmm.......Obama :"Indonesia is an example of religious tolerance" Spoken from the Muslim point of view?Read the full story here.

  • ACLU Leaders Are Supporting Censorship of Israeli Speakers. The international campaign to prevent speakers from delivering pro-Israel talks at universities has been assisted by leaders of the American Civil Liberties Union—an organization that is supposed to protect freedom of speech for all. The method used to silence these speakers and preclude their audiences from hearing their message is exemplified by a now infamous event at the University of California at Irvine.Michael Oren—a distinguished scholar and writer, a moderate supporter of the two-state solution, and now Israel's Ambassador to the United States—was invited to speak. The Muslim Student Union set out to prevent him from delivering his talk Here is the way Erwin Chemerinksy, Dean of the law school, described what the students did : "The Muslim Student Union orchestrated a concerted effort to disrupt the speech. One student after another stood and shouted so that the ambassador could not be heard. Each student was taken away only to be replaced by another doing the same thing."Chemerinsky understates what happened, as anyone can see by watching a video of the event, available online (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfLs_ptJzQA). This was more than a "concerted effort to disrupt the speech." It was a concerted effort to stop it completely—to censor Oren's right to speak and his audience's right to hear him. The efforts to disrupt succeeded; the effort to stop ultimately failed. Moreover, Chemerinsky fails to mention what happened both before and after the concerted effort. There is undisputed evidence that there was a well-planned conspiracy to censor Oren's talk, and then to lie about it, which the students did after the event. The fact that radical anti-Israel zealots would support censorship of a pro-Israel speaker comes as no surprise. But the fact that the letter of support was signed by two ACLU leaders should shock all civil libertarians and supporters of the ACLU. I have been a supporter of the ACLU for half a century and was a national board member. I supported the right of Nazis to march through Skokie and I defend the right of the most virulent anti-Israel speakers to participate in the marketplace of ideas. The ACLU policy has always been to oppose concerted efforts to prevent speakers from delivering their remarks. While supporting sporadic heckling and jeering that merely demonstrates opposition to the content of the remarks, the ACLU has always condemned concerted efforts to silence invited speakers.Yet signatories of the letter—which never once criticizes the censoring Muslim Union students while condemning those who wanted to hear the speaker—include "Chuck Anderson," who identifies himself as President ACLU Chapter, Orange County and Chair, The Peace and Freedom Party, Orange County;" (a hard left anti-Israel group), and "Hector Villagro," who identifies himself as "Incoming Executive Director, ACLU of Southern California."Dean Chemerinsky, while also opposing criminal prosecution, made a point to condemn the censoring students:"The students' behavior was wrong and deserves punishment. There is no basis for the claim that the disruptive students were just exercising their First Amendment rights. There is no constitutional right to disrupt an event and keep a speaker from being heard. Otherwise, any speaker could be silenced by a heckler's veto. The Muslim students could have expressed their message in many other ways: picketing or handing out leaflets outside the auditorium where Ambassador Oren was speaking, making statements during the question and answer period, holding their own events on campus."Unless the ACLU explicitly renounces its' leaders support for students who seek to censor pro-Israel speakers, that organization will lose the backing of many who believe that all speech should be protected—not only speech approved of by its leaders.Hmmmmm.....Welcome to Obama's new "World order"?Read the full story here.

  • HT:AhmadiyyaTimes.Egypt: Al-Azhar Imam Offended, Orders Niqab off, Wants Ban.Azhar Imam Orders Niqab off, Wants Ban: “The niqab is a tradition and has nothing to do with Islam,” said Sheikh Tantawi, vowing to ban it in Al-Azhar schools.CAIRO – The head of Al-Azhar, the highest seat of learning in the Sunni world, has ordered a school girl to remove her niqab during a visit to an Al-Azhar school, saying he would seek an official ban for the face veil in schools, Al-Masri Al-Youm newspaper reported on Monday, October 5. “Why are you wearing the niqab while sitting in the class with your female colleagues?” Al-Azhar Grand Imam Sheikh Mohamed Sayyed Tantawi asked the 8th grader. The young girl was shocked with the question coming from the country’s top scholar.A teacher intervened to explain.“She takes off her niqab inside the class, but she only put it on when you and your entourage came in.”But Sheikh Tantawi was not satisfied and insisted that the young girl takes off the face cover. “The niqab is a tradition and has nothing to do with Islam.”After the girl complied he insisted she should not wear it any more.“I tell you again that the niqab has nothing to do with Islam and it is only a mere custom. I understand the religion better than you and your parents.”Most Muslim women in Egypt wear the hijab, which is an obligatory code of dress in Islam, but an increase in women putting on the niqab has apparently alarmed the government. The ministry of religious endowments has recently distributed booklets in mosques against the practice. The majority of Muslim scholars believe that a woman is not obliged to cover her face or hands. They believe that it is up to every woman to decide whether to take on the face-cover or not.Ban. The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar imam vowed to issue a ban against the face-veil in all schools linked to Al-Azhar.“I intend to issue a regulation to ban the niqab in Al-Azhar schools,” he said.“No student or teacher will be allowed into the school wearing the niqab.”Established in 359 AH (971 CE), Al-Azhar mosque drew scholars from across the Muslim world and grew into a university, predating similar developments at Oxford University in London by more than a century.Al-Azhar, which means the "most flourishing and resplendent," was named after Fatima Al-Zahraa, daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).The first courses at Al-Azhar were given in 975 CE and the first college was built 13 years later.Al-Azhar first admitted women students in 1961, albeit in separate classes. Also in 1961, subjects in engineering and medicine were added to classes on Shari`ah, the Noble Qur’an and the intricacies of Arabic language.Sheikh Tantawi’s remarks coincided with those of Higher Education Minister Hani Hilal who has banned the face-veil in student hostels.“Face-veiled students are free to do what they want outside the hostels but there is no room for the niqab inside the women-only hostels,” he said earlier this week. Many students demonstrated against the minister’s statements and the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights plans to take him to court.“The minister’s decision violates the principles of privacy, personal freedom and freedom of faith, which are guaranteed by the constitution.”Hmmmm.....The West should engrave this 'Fatwa' and show it to each Muslima who claims she must wear the niqab for her faith!Read the full story here.

  • Turkish PM blames archaeological 'stuff' for Marmaray Tunnel delay. The discovery of “archaeological stuff” on the Bosphorus seabed kept the Marmaray Tunnel from being completed by the end of 2010, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Saturday during his visit to the underground project site.“Actually, the Marmaray [project] did not have to be postponed to October 2013,” Erdoğan said, adding that the tunnel could have been finalized in 2010 but was hindered by many barriers.“First [they said] there was archaeological stuff, then it was clay pots, then this, then that. Is any of this stuff more important than people?” the prime minister asked, comments that were criticized by archaeology experts.Countless artifacts pertaining to prehistoric eras, the first agricultural societies and an ancient Bosphorus village have been extracted from Yenikapı’s seabed, making it “one of the world’s most precious underwater collections,” said Necmi Karul, a professor at Istanbul University’s Prehistory Department, according to a report by daily Radikal on Sunday. Karul said the findings were unique in the world and indicated how important Istanbul and Anatolia had been since prehistoric times.“The extracted works are so important that they changed Istanbul’s history,” said the chair of the Marmaray excavations, İsmail Karamut.“They are very important for the history of humanity and the world’s archaeology. They brought Istanbul’s history back 8,000 years,” said Istanbul Archaeological Director Zynep Kızıltan. Two female students meanwhile protested Erdoğan during his speech at the “1st Turkey Children’s Rights Congress” organized at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul on Sunday. The two students stood up during Erdoğan’s speech to protest the country’s education system. They were escorted out of the hall by security forces.“It is impossible to understand how they were raised that they think they can be so provocative during these kinds of meetings,” Erdoğan said afterward.Hmmmm.....Probably raised in the same 'place' where they call archeologial treasures "STUFF"?Read the full story here.

  • HT:IslamInEurope.Wilders: 'The anti-Islam wave is unstoppable'.From an interview with Geert Wilders, translated from NU.nl:

Q: But do other countries also want those far-reaching measures in the field of immigration?
A: If it's not because they want it, it's because they fear they themselves will get a PVV party. Look at Germany. Or at Cameron in England. People are waking up there too. People don't take it any more."

The times when CDU and CDA could ignore problems are definitely over. It's not a passing comet or something similar. The genie is out of the bottle and will never go back. Never.
We're having here our own little revolution.

Q: What's happening in Germany and England, do you also see that as a sort of fear of the PVV?

A: Merkel lost half of her electorate in Hamburg. and that is yet one of the richest cities in Germany. I hope that Stadtkewitz will do well with his freedom party in the next elections.

And look at what the book "Germany Does Away With Itself" by SPD member Thilo Sarrazin has released there. He's not a charismatic man, otherwise he could have gotten 20% of the votes.

And if in England somebody would establish a party between the racist BNP and the conservatives, they'll also get 20% of the votes.

I would love to establish a party in all those countries. The people want it. A sort of anti-Islam wave which, I apologize if it sounds too fanatical, is unstoppable.

Q: The de-pillarisation [ie, breaking down the old religious and socio-political barriers] already changed a lot. How will the landscape here and in Europe look in a few years?

A: In my view we're in an intermediate stage. People aren't listened to anymore. Especially when it comes to the multicultural society, but also other things. Look at the referendum on the European constitution. Two thirds of Parliament said 'yes', two thirds of the Dutch said 'no'.

This will happen more often if we have referendums more often. Many politicians are afraid of it. It affects their existence, their power, their job, subsidy, world image, illusion. Those times are over. It's also about political culture. Politicians think they can change the contents with small steps. The times when people followed the politicians is over. Politicians are waking up frightened and are seeing that they must follow the people. That's not always up their alley.Read the full story here.

Why would this happen? How can I restore everything?’ Earlier today a Google spokesman told the Huffington Post: ‘We’ve already fixed the problem for some individuals.'Our engineers are working as quickly as possible and we hope to have everything back to normal soon. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience to our customers.’Initial estimates were that 0.23 per cent of all users were affected, but this was revised down by Google to 0.08 per cent, or around 150,000 users.Hmmmm......Obama having a meeting with Google does yield results it seems?Read  the full story here.

  • Egypt's Mubarak Passes Authority to Vice President but Will Remain in Office Until September Elections.Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said Thursday he has passed authority to Vice President Omar Suleiman, but will not step down before September elections. The move, announced in a nationally-televised address, means he will retain his title of president and ensures the regime will continue to control the reform process.Immediately after the president's speech, Suleiman addressed the nation and urged protesters to return to their homes."To the youth of Egypt, and the heroes of Egypt, go back to your home and your works, the nation needs you so that we can build and develop and innovate," said Suleiman."Let us walk together, hand in hand, in a new path that achieves the hope of the youth and all generations for a new life, a stable life, and a safe life," he added.Mubarak's announcement was not what hundreds of thousands of protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square had hoped for, as they resumed their chants of "Leave! Leave! Leave!""I will never leave Egypt and Egypt will not leave me until I am buried in the soil of Egypt," Mubarak said in his 15-minute address.Mubarak said the demands of the protesters calling for his immediate ouster are legitimate. He said he had requested the amendment of five articles of the constitution to loosen the now restrictive conditions on who can run for president, to restore judicial supervision of elections, and to impose term limits on the presidency. He also said that he would lift hated emergency laws -- but only when security permitted.Mubarak also vowed to punish those behind violence over the past two weeks and offered condolences to the families of those killed.Youth activists organizing the protests planned to up the pressure on the streets even further, calling for an expanded rally on Friday, hoping to repeat a showing earlier this week that drew about a quarter-million people. Friday's protest was to be expanded, with six separate rallies planned around Cairo, all to eventually march on Tahrir, said Khaled Abdel-Hamid, speaking for a coalition of groups behind the protests.Hmmmm.......It looks like this will be slammed down in bloodshed!Read the full story here.

  • DEVELOPING: Conflicting Reports on Whether Egyptian President Mubarak Will Step Down.Thousands of protesters have gathered in Cairo's Tahrir Square awaiting word on whether Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will stay in office amid conflicting reports as he is expected to address the nation Thursday evening.A senior Egyptian official confirms to Fox News that President Hosni Mubarak will step down shortly and transfer authority to the Egyptian Higher Council of the Armed Forces -- but Egypt's information minister tells Reuters that "the president is definitely not going to step down."The group is comprised of the minister of defense, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi – who stands atop the military hierarchy – along with the military’s chief of staff, the chief of operations, and commanders of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Air Defenses. In a statement read on Egyptian television, a spokesman reportedly said, "Stemming from the armed forces' responsibility and committing to the protection of the people, safeguarding their interest and security, and keen on the safety of the homeland, the citizens and the achievements of the great Egyptian people, and asserting the legitimate rights of the people, the Higher Council of the Armed Forces convened today, Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, to deliberate on the latest developments of the situation and decided to remain in continuous session to discuss what measures and arrangements could be taken to safeguard the homeland and its achievements, and the aspirations of the great Egyptian people."Al Arabiya television is reporting that Mubarak will transfer his powers to Vice President Omar Suleiman. The station is also reporting Mubarak will confirm pledges for honest elections come September. The Egyptian army is threatening to act if protesters resist change.A senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood tells Reuters that he believes the Egyptian army was staging a military coup."It looks like a military coup ... I feel worry and anxiety. The problem is not with the president, it is with the regime," Essam al-Erian told Reuters.President Obama said at a new wireless initiative event in Michigan that "we are witnessing history unfold." "The people of Egypt are calling for a change," Obama said.Footage on state TV showed Defense Minster Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi chairing the military's supreme council, with around two dozen top stern-faced army officers, seated around a table. Not at the meeting were Mubarak, the military commander in chief, or his vice president Omar Suleiman, a former army general and intelligence chief named to his post after the protests erupted Jan. 25.That could be a sign that Suleiman, as well, was being pushed out of power."All your demands will be met today," Gen. Hassan al-Roueini, military commander for the Cairo area, told thousands of protesters in central Tahrir Square. The protesters lifted al-Roueini onto their shoulders and carried him around the square, shouting, "the army, the people one hand." Some in the crowd held up their hands in V-for-victory signs, shouting "the people want the end of the regime" and "Allahu akbar," or "God is great," a victory cry used by secular and religious people alike. But protesters also chanted, "civilian not military," a signal they do not want military rule. More people flowed into the square following the military announcement in the evening. In the military's announcement on state TV, the council's spokesman read a statement announcing the military's "support of the legitimate demands of the people."He said the council was in permanent session to explore "what measures and arrangements could be made to safeguard the nation, its achievements and the ambitions of its great people." That suggested Tantawi and his generals were now in charge of the country.Hmmmm......Confusion is reigning for the moment in Egypt.Read the full story here.

  • Egyptian Official: Mubarak to Step Down, Transfer Authority to Armed Forces.President Hosni Mubarak will step down shortly and transfer authority to the Egyptian Higher Council of the Armed Forces, a senior Egyptian official confirmed to Fox News on Thursday. The group is comprised of the minister of defense, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi -- who stands atop the military hierarchy -- along with the military's chief of staff, the chief of operations, and commanders of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Air Defenses. The source pointed out that the transfer of power will occur "outside of the constitutional framework" because under the Egyptian constitution, Mubarak's resignation ordinarily would mean that the speaker of the house would become president and elections would be held within 60 days. In this case, the military council will "not be governing under the constitution or any legislation," the source noted. "So they will have to define the format under which they are taking power."The source did not know how long the military would reign nor what mechanism or timetable would be put in place to end the military's administration of power, but said that "when (the transfer of power from Mubarak) does happen, they will presumably indicate the direction of the country." The source drew parallels with the Army coup of 1952, and the removal of King Faroukh, noting that it took six months before the monarchy was dissolved and the modern republic formed. The source said this marks "a moment of grave magnitude for the national security of Egypt."The official said he doubted that Mubarak would be prosecuted after leaving office. "No specific allegations of wrongdoing have been made against him," said the source, adding that if any allegations surface later on, it would be a judicial function to resolve them. The source predicted, without certainty, that Mubarak will retire to Sharm el-Sheikh and lead an "isolated" existence. The official also expressed criticism of the Obama administration and the American press for short-changing the reform process that Mubarak and Suleiman had begun to put in place, and which the official claimed had been moving along "fine" in "very rapid" fashion. The official said the "constant requests for more measures, to be undertaken more quickly, more rapidly ... the constant push" and "lack of recognition" for the reform measures being undertaken in good faith all conspired to create a "national consensus" in Egypt that forced Mubarak's ouster."They did not give too much room for the (reform) process to move forward," the official said of the Obama administration.Hmmmm......Lets hope the Egyptian army command don't allow themselves to be bullied be anyone!Read the full story here.

  • HT:IsraelMatzav.UN partners in Arab campaign presenting female terrorist as role model to the Arab world.I could have headlined this one as "your tax dollars at work," but I just did that in the last post. The UN is participating in a campaign to present 'women's issues' to the Arab world. As part of that campaign, a clip was broadcast on more than 50 television stations in Arab countries presenting "model women." One of the women presented - as a model of 'martyrdom' and 'victory over enmity' - was Dalal al-Mughrabi, who led the terror attack that killed the largest number of Israelis ever killed in one attack (37). It's known as the 'Coastal Road attack' and occurred in 1978. Al-Mughrabi was also killed in the attack and is frequently presented as a 'martyr' by the 'Palestinian Authority.'Read and see the full scandal story here.

KING: You know, I think that is up to the president. But I will tell you that I would not — I would not present him as anything other than that. It’s his religion. That’s what he said. In fact, when he gave a speech in Cairo last year — he told the Muslim crowd that he’s a Christian.

O’DONNELL: Do you believe he’s a Christian, Congressman?

KING: I take him at his word.

O’DONNELL: Are you a Christian?

  • US Treasury: Hezbollah-linked bank money launderer. Treasury says several individuals involved in drug-trafficking, money laundering operation hold accounts at Lebanese Canadian Bank. The US Treasury Department on Thursday accused a Beirut-based bank of involvement in an international money-laundering and drug-trafficking operation with ties to the Lebanese group Hezbollah. The Treasury officially designated Lebanese Canadian Bank as a "primary money laundering concern," saying this might eventually lead to actions that force US financial institutions to cut off some of their ties with the bank."Several individuals involved in this global trafficking and money laundering network hold or utilize cash deposit accounts at LCB to move hundreds of millions of dollars monthly in cash proceeds from illicit drug sales into the formal financial system," the Treasury said in a statement."The Lebanese Canadian Bank for years has participated in a sophisticated money laundering scheme involving used cars purchased in the United States and consumer goods overseas," said Michele Leonhart, administrator of the US Drug Enforcement Agency, which worked with Treasury on the case.Read the full story here.

  • HT:TheDailyCaller.NY construction worker leads movement against Ground Zero mosque.Construction worker and lifelong New Yorker Andy Sullivan has taken opposition to the Park51 mosque — slated to be built next to Ground Zero — into his own hands. Sullivan has led the call to get his fellow construction workers to lay down their tools and boycott construction of the mosque.Sullivan, a witness to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, was shocked to discover that a mosque was going to be built over-looking the site of the World Trade Center carnage — the result of an attack perpetrated terrorists who claimed to be acting in the name of Islam. When it became clear that there was little institutionally that could be done to stop it, Sullivan started the 9/11 Hard Hat Pledge, getting his peers to refuse to work on any aspect out the mosque.“[The pledge] was done out of desperation,” Sullivan said Tuesday on Freedom Torch. “Ever since the whole thing about the mosque came on the scene I was very concerned but I thought that between the community groups and our elected officials that this thing would be cut off at the head and we would not have to worry about it. Low and behold, how badly I was wrong. … So we were running to catch up to fight this thing.”Sullivan said there was not much he could do other than take his opposition to the streets.“I’m done with courts, done with hearings, and votes I am just going to go to the guy or girl I work with and say, ‘excuse me how do you feel about this issue, and if you feel like I do would you stand by my side and support not doing any work or contributing anything to the construction of that mosque in that location?’” Sullivan said. “And it was like I tapped into something that was really buried in the American psyche and all I did was unearth it and it went wild.”Sullivan says it was a slow go at first, but he got his big break when he called into the Rush Limbaugh Show, made it on the program, and was able to reach Limbaugh’s more than 20 million listeners.“Forget it, once Rush Limbaugh got it out there and started doing his thing with it… he turned it into a movement with a couple of phrases. Before I knew it I was getting emails and pledges from Afghanistan, Iraq, Germany, Ireland,” said Sullivan.Sullivan’s movement has garnered thousands of supporters and signatures and he continues to gather more.Hmmmm.......United we stand?Read the full story here.

  • HT:WND.Obama signature creates 'continental perimeter'.Move described as key step in advance of North American Union.Barack Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper quietly have taken a major step toward erasing the border between the two nations with a new "Beyond the Border" bilateral declaration. In a ceremony designed to remain below the radar of national public opinion, Obama and Harper bypassed Congress to sign on the basis of their executive authority a declaration that put in place a new national security vision defined not by U.S. national borders, but by a continental view of a "North American perimeter." It happened Friday, the day the Obama administration usually pushes through issues that it prefers the media ignore. By signing the declaration, the Obama administration has implemented without congressional approval a key initiative President Bush began under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, moving the United States and Canada beyond the North American Free Trade Agreement, commonly known as NAFTA, toward a developing North American Union regional government. The declaration signed by the two heads of state and titled "Beyond the Border: A Shared Vision for Perimeter Security and Economic Competitiveness," was described as "For Immediate Release" on the websites of the White House and the Canadian chief executive.Harper followed Obama's lead in signing the declaration as a form of executive order, deciding to bypass the Canadian parliament, much as Obama had decided against taking a proposed bilateral "Beyond the Border" declaration to Congress for prior review and approval."To preserve and extend the benefits … our close relationship has helped bring to Americans and Canadians alike, we intend to pursue a perimeter approach to security, working together within, at, and away from the borders of our two countries to enhance our security and accelerate the legitimate flow of people, goods, and services between our two countries," the declaration announced in the preamble. The decision to declare a continental perimeter for the United States and Canada, designed to effectively combine the two nations in mutual national security and economic efforts, affirms the Obama administration's intent to implement the key objectives of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North American in a way that avoids the type of public scrutiny and criticism that dogged President George W. Bush after he openly declared his plans with the SPP. The Obama and Harper administrations' use of a low-key methodology to pursue continental political integration was further confirmed last week in Canada by the Toronto Star. The paper disclosed a 14-page confidential public relations document circulated within the Canadian government that recommended the talks between Obama and Harper keep "a low profile" in the months leading to last Friday's signing of the bilateral declaration.Hmmmm......Why all the secrecy?Read the full story here.

  • HT:TheAmericanDream.Food Crisis 2011? 14 Disturbing Facts That Make You Wonder If The Coming Global Food Shortage Has Already Begun. Will 2011 be the year that we point to as the beginning of the great global food crisis? Food prices are soaring, supplies are very tight and already we have seen some very intense food protests flare up around the globe this year. When people don't have enough to eat, they tend to become very desperate, and unfortunately it looks like the global food situation is not going to improve much any time soon. Right now the world is really struggling to feed itself, and with each passing day there are even more mouths to feed. It is being projected that the population of the world will reach 9 billion people by the year 2050. There are already way too many people starving to death around the globe, and unfortunately starvation is only going to become more rampant as food supplies get even tighter. Some of the key food producing provinces in China are facing their worst drought in 200 years. Flooding has absolutely devastated agricultural production in Australia and Brazil this winter. Russia is still trying to recover from the horrific drought of last summer. Global weather patterns have gone haywire over the past 12 months, and this is putting immense pressure on a global food system that was already on the verge of a major breakdown.Food stockpiles all over the world are disturbingly low at this point. If a major global famine broke out not even the United States would be able to last for long. The U.S. government is supposed to be keeping a lot of food stockpiled in the event of an emergency, but that is just not happening.Right now a desperate scramble for food is beginning. Quite a few nations that used to be huge food exporters are now importing a lot of their food. Prices for staples such as wheat, corn and soybeans are absolutely soaring, and the UN is projecting that they will continue to rise rapidly throughout 2011.Unless something dramatically changes, the global food situation is only going to get tighter and tighter and tighter as this decade rolls along. So who is going to decide who gets fed and who doesn't?As food prices continue to rise, will we start to see more food riots erupt all over the world as starving populations demand answers from their governments? What is going to happen if weather patterns get even worse or if we have a string of really bad natural disasters? What is going to happen if we experience a really bad global economic collapse?Right now these are just the "birth pains", but if things get much worse we could be looking at a horrific food shortage that will rock the globe. The following are 14 facts that make you wonder if the coming global food shortage has already begun....Hmmmm.....If you haven't started to stock up...now is a good time to start!Read the full story here.

  • Indonesia's MUI says Valentine's Day is 'haram'.THE Dumai chapter of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) in Riau says the celebration of Valentine's Day is haram (forbidden for Muslims). 'From its origins, it is recognised that the Valentine's Day is a holiday of non-Muslims in Rome, Italy. Therefore, Valentine's Day celebrations are forbidden for Muslims,' MUI Dumai chairman Rozai Akbar told Antara in Dumai on Thursday. He added that Valentine's Day celebrations went against Islamic teachings because the celebration was akin to encouraging young people to build relationships outside marriage.'What will happen if Valentine's Day becomes part of Islam culture? This was one of the considerations in deciding to forbid the celebration for Muslims,' he said. The MUI has called upon all Muslim parents to explain to their children that Valentine's Day is something they must not celebrate.'It would be better to educate them and give them religious teachings so that Valentine's Day celebrations will not become a tradition among Muslims youths,' he said.Hmmmm.....Wel from Iran we can expect something of the kind but from the country that Obama calls "An example of religious tolerance?Read the full story here.

  • HT:EmergingCorruption. What Did Wade Rathke Know About Egypt that the CIA Didn’t and What Will Obama Do Now.Rathke’s post made it clear that the Gamamiel Foundation supports the uprising in Egypt. Predictably President Obama is pushing hard for “community reorganizing” in Egypt (a development that pleases the Moslem Brotherhood and Iran, but not Israel). But…with re-election in 2012 his goal and trying to seem moderate in center-right America critical to that, how far will Obama dare to go in trying to “change” Egypt?Fortuitously, there was a Senate committee hearing on the nomination for the position of Deputy Director of the Office of Director of National Intelligence of Stephanie O’Sullivan, a career CIA employee and former Director of the CIA Directorate of Science and Technology, and questions were asked about the CIA’s alleged failure to provide US policy planners with accurate warning of the Egyptian popular uprising on February 3, 2011. O’Sullivan testified that the CIA and other US intelligence services had warned Obama Administration officials last November and December about extreme political volatility in North Africa.“We warned on instability,” said O’Sullivan, though “not in [...] detail,” because “we didn’t know what the triggering mechanism would be.”Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Diane Feinstein of California commented after the hearing that the intelligence reports she had seen were inadequate.Perhaps the CIA should have been following http://www.organizersforum.org/. That’s the Wade Rathke who founded ACORN in 1970, served as its Chief Organizer until 2008, still heads ACORN International and still publishes Social Policy (with Francis Fox Piven of Cloward-Piven strategy notoriety still on the editorial advisory board). In addition to Rathke, the Board of Directors of the Organizers’ Forum includes Drummond Pike of the Tides Foundation and an SEIU representative. Originally, the SEIU representative was former SEIU head and most frequent Obama White House visitor Andy Stern. See www.organizersforum.org/index.php?id=462.What were what Rathke described last October as “exciting changes and developments that are currently taking place in Egypt” and what (if anything) did the CIA know about them? Why did Rathke state without qualification that the “elections coming soon” would “determine leadership transitions”? Why was he sure that Hosni Mubarak, Egypt’s president for three decades, would not be re-elected?Why did Rathke list the challenges to the Mubarak “regime” in this order: Muslim Brotherhood, succession, democracy? Why was it decided to hold the Organizers’ Forum’s twentieth “Dialogue” in Egypt? Was it really to “see the Pyramids”?Hmmmmm.......Something smells almost as bad as the Pigford case.Read the full story here.

CAIR can scrub their website to send the story down the memory hole but photographic evidence remains via a 2009 post at WND: Beheader hubby was hero to U.S. Muslim activists. He received an award April 7, 2007, from CAIR-Pennsylvania at its first annual banquet, a fundraiser at the Hilton Philadelphia. CAIR-PA Chairman Iftekhar Hussain and CAIR National Chairman Parvez Ahmed presented the award to Hassan. The organization website does not specify a reason for the honor. In 2007, when CAIR gave Hassan the award, Hassan was systematically terrorizing his wife. He would later brutally attack her, stabbing her 40 times before cutting her head off and then leaving his kids alone in a vehicle out in the cold. Watch the closing arguments of the trial here.CAIR apparently doesn’t want to be linked to yet another convicted Muslim and seems to have scrubbed the award photo from their website.Hmmm.........Read the full story here.
