Risk of ISIL sleeper cells is "valid" especially for those countries that should support operations against ISIL.

Risk of ISIL sleeper cells is "valid" especially for those countries that should support operations against ISIL.HT: TurkaFile.

Headlined on the front page of today’s Taraf as "Sleeper cell fear in three cities", correspondent Hüseyin Özay states a "‘sleeper cell’ crisis" to be the "reason" why Turkey did not sign the final declaration at the ‘anti-ISIS’ summit in Saudi Arabia last week.

Özay highlights that while the official reason Turkey does not want to be part of U.S.-led operation against the Islamic militants is because of the 49 Turkish hostages being held, this is only "one of the reasons", and that the "real fear" for Turkish authorities is that of sleeper cells taking action.

According to Özay, the subject was talked about at the NATO summit in Wales and that U.S. officials pointed out that ISIS has cell structures in many countries, and "asked Turkey to be careful" about cells in Turkish cities.

Özay states that the U.S. and EU countries noted that the risk of sleeper cells is "valid" for all countries, and that it is "especially those countries at risk" that should support operations against ISIS "even more".

Özay reports that Turkey has begun an extensive investigation into the organisation after recent developments. However, he writes, members of sleeper cells "cannot be detected" because of the Syrian *refugees in Turkey, making it difficult to determine who is a genuine refugee and who is a cell member.

Özay notes that the difficulty lies in that the cell members are inactive, and writes that "it is stated that this is one of the biggest security risks for Turkey."Hmmmm......."sleeper cells cannot be detected because of the Syrian *refugees in Turkey.".....Obama 'Admin' will admit thousands of *refugees currently in Turkey into the US as of next year.

Note: Anonymous government whistleblower ‘Fuat Avni’ made the same claims on Twitter last week.
