The EU foreign policy chief further said that the six world powers and Iran would move on the basis of a step-by-step plan to build each other's trust. She also noted that Tehran has voiced preparedness to discuss its 20-percent enrichment activities, adding that the Iranian team has offered a proposal which includes 5 axes of cooperation. Yet, she declined to declare the details of the talks with Iran. "I believe that we share some common grounds and we should negotiate over them," Ashton said, and pointed to the two sides' agreement on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons as among such areas. Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) held several rounds of talks between the two sides in Baghdad on Wednesday and Thursday. On April 14 and after a 15-month hiatus, Iran and the six world powers resumed talks in Istanbul, Turkey, and agreed to meet again in the Iraqi capital on May 23. Mujahedin-e Khalq MEK(Iranian opposition group): Tehran accelerating its nuclear program.(JPost).Iran is accelerating its nuclear weapons program, according to a report compiled by the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) Iranian opposition group and obtained by The Jerusalem Post on Friday. Publication of the report comes just days before Western powers are scheduled to begin a second round of talks with Iran in Baghdad. The report first appeared in the Die Welt German daily and was provided to the Post by Brussels-based Iran expert Emanuele Ottolenghi, who had been asked by the paper to verify its contents.The report and various additional charts outline the different offices involved in Iran's weapons program and identify some 60 directors and experts working in various parts of SPND and 11 additional institutions and companies affiliated with the program.
The SPND headquarters is based in Mojdeh, a military facility near Tehran. The facility is headed by Mohsen Fakhrizadeh-Mahabadi, who has previously been identified by western intelligence agencies as the man responsible for the nuclear weapons program. He is under United Nations sanctions.
MEK also identified a facility called the "Center for Explosives, Blast Research and Technologies" - known by its Farsi acronym "METFAZ" - which is based in a five-story nondescript office building in Tehran's Pars neighborhood. Scientists there are responsible for building high-explosives for nuclear detonators and conducts its tests at the Parchin site, a facility long suspected of being connected to nuclear activity which Iran has refused to open to UN inspectors. SPND, according to the report, is comprised of seven sub-divisions: 
1) a division that works on the main element for the bomb, including the enriched uranium;

2) a division that shapes and molds the material needed to build a warhead;

3) a division that produces metals required for a nuclear warhead;

4) a division that produces high-explosive material used to cause a nuclear detonation;

5) a division which conducts research on advanced chemical materials;

6) a division that conducts electronic calculations required for building a nuclear warhead;

7) and a division which is responsible for laser activities needed for a nuclear weapon. The society, which is based in Menzingen, Switzerland, has 6 seminaries, 3 universities and 70 schools around the world. The Vatican spokesman, Federico Lombardi, said the Society had delivered an “encouraging” response to the Vatican’s demands. Lombardi has said that if an agreement is reached to bring the traditionalists back into the fold, the most likely scenario will be for the Vatican to declare the Society a “personal prelature” — a unique Church structure currently assigned only to the conservative movement Opus Dei. Many people remember the name of Richard Williamson. On the same day in 2009 that the Pope’s decree was signed lifting his excommunication, Bishop Williamson was shown on Swedish state television saying historical evidence “is hugely against 6 million Jews having been deliberately gassed” during World War II. But even if Williamson is just a lunatic anti-Semite, the proto-Holocaust teachings of the Society and the agreement with the Vatican will have historical consequences on Christian relations with the Jews. The entire Society propagates the worst kind of anti-Semitism.
Their US branch website demonizes “the international Jewry”, “the world wide Jewish empire”, “the Jews as the biggest capitalists”, the Jews as “the founders of Communism”, the Jews as “the enemy of man”. There is also “A defence of Inquisition”.
The South African website claims that “Jews are fulfilling their substitute-Messianic drive towards world dominion”.
The Irish branch calls the Jews “guilty of Deicide” and posits that they “must be baptized”.
The German site is also very clear: “The Jews of now are for sure guilty of the murder of God, as long as they don’t recognize Christ as God and are baptized to atone for the sins of their forefathers”.
The Belgian’s Society website defines the Jewish Messiah as “the anti-Christ of the Apocalypse”. The Italian Society’s bulletin, La Tradizione Cattolica, calls Judaism “a false cult” and spreads hallucinatory material on “the Jew Karl Marx” and “the Jews sleeping in the shadow of death”.
If the Vatican, which is responsible for the faith of one billion people around the world, welcomes back the Society, it means that the Pope simply has made a strategic decision: enticing Catholic anti-Semites back to the fold is more important than the Church’s relationship with the Jewish people.
The Christian identification of the Jews with Cain repudiated the notion of a permanent Jewish home in the Biblical land and it also proclaimed, against the concept of Jews as the Divinely chosen, their suffering as a pariah group, condemned to “eternal wandering” for their “mortal sin against Christ”.

The report described the decision as an abrogation of part of the Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty, with profound economic and diplomatic implications. The head of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company later confirmed that the contract had been terminated, but claimed this was because of Israeli “violations” of contractual obligations. Mohamed Shoeb said Israel had not paid for its gas in months. He would not elaborate. He said it was a business and not a political decision. Egyptian militants have blown up the gas pipeline to Israel 14 times since the uprising that ousted Hosni Mubarak last year. Many Egyptians feel the deal gives Israel bargain prices. Egypt’s parliament has called for the deal to be abrogated. The Israeli side said the decision was “unlawful and in bad faith,” accusing the Egyptian side of failing to supply the gas quantities it is owed. The dispute is under international arbitration. The original Egypt-Israel peace treaty, signed in 1979, provided for Egypt to supply Israel with oil. As Egypt’s capacity to do so dwindled, the relevant clause was amended to apply to natural gas. Sunday’s decision represented a unilateral abrogation of an element of the overall treaty, Channel 2 reported, and thus was highly significant with respect to Israeli-Egyptian ties. The Iranians may find it worth their while to accept this framework. The students later found out that the fake notices were placed by the Students for Justice in Palestine.According to the Sun Sentinel, the group's stunt was aimed to draw attention to their claim that "about 25,000 homes have been demolished since the occupation of Palestine by Israeli troops began in 1967." Rayna Exelbierd, a 20-year-old sophomore from Memphis, Tennessee, said "We're taking it very seriously. We're considering it a hate crime. The flier promotes hate; it doesn't promote peace. People were scared by it. People felt threatened by it." Scott Brockman, Hillel executive director, said in a statement that, "While protecting and ensuring free speech on campus, the tactic used by Students for Justice in Palestine is unacceptable."The tactic, he said, "Does not promote civil discourse on campus but provokes, incites and intimidates." 
Brockman further claimed that posting the notices in the dormitories "compromises the university’s own value to 'create and maintain a clean and safe and secure environment in which students live and learn.'" The Jewish students' campus organization, he added, is leaving the investigation up to the university, at this time: "We want a statement that Jewish students will be safe on campus and have a safe environment in which to live," he said.
According to the report, SJP has some 75 chapters across the United States that host Palestinian-awareness pogroms programs perceived by many as anti-Israel. The group advocates boycott campaigns and annual Israeli Apartheid Weeks. In Atlantic University, the group has about 30 members."We want to raise awareness about the plight of the Palestinians," chapter President Noor Fawzy said. "The intent is to expose Israel's illegal policies and give students a feel of what it's like to live under occupation." Fawzy said the group was thrilled with the response from other students: "We made a great impact on the student body. Having a table in the school's breezeway is one thing, but we have to look for other ways to get people's attention." As for the questionable method the group chose, she said: "We have the right to express ourselves. There is no reason for the Jewish community to feel afraid." According to the report no complaints were filed with campus police, but the Anti-Defamation League has contacted the university and is said to be monitoring the investigation. A prominent Iranian lawmaker says the country can produce nuclear weapons.(AlArabiya).Iran has the knowledge and scientific capability to produce nuclear weapons but will never do so, a prominent lawmaker said. Gholamreza Mesbahi Moghadam said Iran can easily produce the highly enriched uranium that is used to build atomic bombs but it is not Tehran’s policy to go that route. “Iran has the scientific and technological capability to produce (a) nuclear weapon, but will never choose this path,” Moghadam told the parliament’s news website, icana.ir, late Friday. Moghadam is a parliamentarian not a government official and his views do not represent the Iranian government's policy.
It is the first time that a prominent Iranian politician has publicly stated that Iran has the technological capability to produce a nuclear weapon. The U.S. and its allies accuse Iran of using its civilian nuclear program as a cover to develop nuclear weapons. Iran denies the charges, saying its program is peaceful and geared toward generating electricity and producing radioisotopes to treat cancer patients. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has repeatedly insisted that his country is not seeking nuclear weapons, saying that holding such arms is a sin as well as “useless, harmful and dangerous.”
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has also asserted that if Iran one day decides to build nuclear weapons, it will do so openly and won’t fear anybody. Iran says it is enriching uranium to about 3.5 percent to produce nuclear fuel for its future reactors and also to around 20 percent to fuel a research reactor that produces medical isotopes to treat cancer treatment. Uranium has to be enriched to more than 90 percent to be used for a nuclear weapon. The U.N. nuclear agency has also confirmed that centrifuges at the Fordo site near Iran’s holy city of Qom are churning out uranium enriched to 20 percent, and says uranium enriched to that level can more quickly be turned into weapons-grade material. Moghadam, the lawmaker, said that Iran has the means to produce 90-plus percent enrichment. “There is a possibility for Iran to easily achieve more than 90 percent enrichment,” icana.ir quoted Moghadam as saying.“
President Obama has signaled Iran that the United States would accept an Iranian civilian nuclear program if Supreme leader Ali Khamenei can back up his recent public claim that his nation 'will never pursue nuclear weapons’,” said Ignatius. “A few days before traveling to Iran, Erdogan had held a two-hour meeting with Obama in Seoul, in which they discussed what Erdogan would tell the ayatollah about the nuclear issue and Syria,” he wrote.
The United States said Thursday that it still expected Iran to hold talks with six world powers on the Islamic republic’s disputed nuclear program to go ahead next week, despite a dispute on the venue being Istanbul or Baghdad. According to Ignatius, Obama asked Erdogan to tell Khamenei “that the Iranians should realize that time is running out for a peaceful settlement and that Tehran should take advantage of the current window for negotiations.” However, “Obama didn’t specify whether Iran would be allowed to enrich uranium domestically as part of civilian program the United States would endorse. That delicate issue evidently would be left for the negotiations.” It is not the first time that the Pres Obama says that it okays a civilian nuclear program in Iran. The State Department's Jerusalem syndrome.By Caroline Glick.I went to the US Consulate this week to take care of certain family business. It was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I think it is ironic that two days after my extremely unpleasant experience at the consulate, State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland refused to say what the capital of Israel is. It was ironic because anyone who visits the consulate knows that the US's position on Jerusalem is in perfect alignment with that of Israel's worst enemies. Last time I went to the consulate was in 2007. At that time the building was located in the middle of an Arab neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem. It was unpleasant. In fact it was fairly frightening.
Once inside the building I couldn't shake the feeling that the Americans had gone out of their way to make Israeli-American Jews feel uncomfortable and vaguely threatened. But then, I was able to console myself with the thought that the US has been upfront about its rejection of Israel's right to assert its sovereignty over eastern Jerusalem. By treating Jews as foreigners in their capital city and behaving as though it belongs to the Arabs by among other things hiring only Arabs as local employees, the US officials on site were simply implementing a known US policy. True, I deeply oppose the policy, but no one was asking me, and no one was hiding anything from me.
The new consulate is much different, and much worse. The State Department opened its new consulate in Jerusalem in October 2010. It is located in the Jewish neighborhood of Arnona. It was built on the plot that Israel allocated for the US Embassy after Congress passed Jerusalem Embassy Act in 1995 requiring the US government to move its embassy to Jerusalem. I read that construction began in 2004. I haven't been able to find out whether when construction began it was to build the embassy or a new consulate so I don't know yet whether the Bush administration thought it was building an embassy that the Obama administration turned into a consulate or if the Bush administration thought it was building a consulate that the Obama administration completed. Whatever the case, the fact that the building that was supposed to be an expression of US recognition of Israel's capital in Jerusalem is being used as the consulate is an unvarnished act of aggression against Israel and Congress. It had expired nearly four years before.The same sources state that a single French passport was issued to Mohamed Merah. Born October 10, 1988 in Toulouse, there was only one application at the town hall. His French passport was issued April 22, 1998 (he was then 09 years, 5 months and 12 days) in Toulouse and it was never renewed. The French document is valid for 10 years, Mohamed Merah could no longer travel abroad with his French passport since April 22, 2008.
But his Algerian passport was still valid. On 20 July 2005 he obtained the official document at the Algerian Consulate in Toulouse.   High levels of a radioactive substance that collects in bones were found in soil samples from a damaged Japanese nuclear power plant, its operator said Wednesday. Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO), which runs the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, detected up to 480 becquerels of strontium-90 per kilogram of soil taken at three locations about 500 metres from two reactors at the six-reactor plant, the public broadcaster NHK reported. The measurement was about 100 times higher than the maximum reading recorded in Fukushima prefecture in atmospheric nuclear tests conducted by foreign countries during the Cold War, NHK said. The plant was hit by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami and has leaked radioactive substances into the environment ever since. Once humans inhale strontium, it tends to accumulate in bones and can cause cancer. It has a half-life of 29.1 years. TEPCO also reported detecting 2,800 becquerels of strontium-89 per kilogram of soil at the same location, NHK said. Strontium-89 has a half-life of 50.5 days. In March, both strontium-90 and -89 were also found in soil and plants in Namie town and Iitate village, more than 30 kilometres from the plant.

  The Tokyo Electric Power Co. (Tepco), which operates the troubled Fukushima nuclear plant, on Tuesday announced that the facility's reactors have been leaking oil into the sea. At about 8:00 a.m. local time Tepco workers noticed oil floating on the sea during a patrol. The oil stain is around 200 to 300 meters long and leaked from the curtain wall of the water intake canal of reactors 5 and 6 at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. Tepco reported the incident to the Futaba Wide-area Fire Headquarters and the Fukushima Coastguard Office. In addition, workers installed oil fences to prevent the oil from spreading to the outer sea. The cause of the leakage is under investigation bur preliminary reports indicated that the tanks and pipes for heavy oil were damaged in the earthquake and tsunami that stuck Japan on March 11. If confirmed, oil could have been leaking into the sea since then. It was also informed that Tepco workers completed the installation of adsorption mattress around the affected sea bank area. The pipes were stained with oil but the leaking has almost stopped. The company scheduled reinforcement work around pipes inside sea bank as well as recovery efforts to control the oil spill. Each one of the damaged oil tanks has a capacity of 960,000 liters.

  Oil was leaking into the sea from heavy oil tanks for reactors 5 and 6 at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant, Tokyo Electric Power Co. said Tuesday, adding the spill may have been ongoing since the March 11 quake and tsunami. Tepco said workers at the site saw an oil slick floating on the sea at 8 a.m. Tuesday near the intakes of units 5 and 6. The oil slick is believed to be 200 to 300 meters long. The total amount of oil that has leaked is still unknown, and the utility plans to set up a boom to prevent the slick from spreading. According to the utility, the two tanks, whose capacity is 960 kiloliters each, were hit by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami and the tanks themselves or pipelines sustained damage, probably causing the oil spill. Tepco spokesman Junichi Matsumoto said the utility believes the leak probably started on or shortly after March 11, noting the tsunami moved the tanks more than 10 meters to the north. When the tsunami hit, a tanker was refilling the tanks and they were nearly full, Matsumoto said during a news conference at Tepco headquarters. After the tsunami, workers visually checked the tanks from the outside, and did not conduct a detailed inspection, Tepco said. Akio Koyama, a professor at Kyoto University's Research Reactor Institute and an expert on managing radioactive waste, said heavy oil floating on the sea is unlikely be contaminated with radioactive materials released from the crippled nuclear plant. Radioactive materials such as ionic cesium usually dissolve in water. Water and oil are immiscible, so radioactive materials in the water rarely get absorbed by oil, Koyama said. • Judicial Travesty: Supreme Court Orders Release of 46,000 Convicted Felons.(BigGovernment).This recent decision has been in the making since 1990 when the class action Coleman v. Brown was filed in District Court that found that California “prisoners with serious mental illness do not receive minimal, adequate care.” Then in 2001 Plata v. Brown said “the State (California) conceded that deficiencies in prison medical care violated prisoners’ Eighth Amendment rights and stipulated to a remedial injunction.”In 2005 when California did not comply with the “remedial injunction” a three-judge court was empowered “to order reductions in the prison population.” All of this is further explained in the recent ninety-one-page U. S. Supreme Court decision that can be found under “Recent Decisions” here and selecting Brown v. Plata.Reading the text of the decision the court “concluded that it would be possible to reduce the prison population ‘in a manner that preserves public safety and the operation of the criminal justice system.’”The decision says the state has created “a certain and unacceptable risk of continuing violations of the rights of sick and mentally ill prisoners, with the result that many more will die or needlessly suffer.” Further that, “The constitution does not permit this wrong.”The court used a statement from the former heads of correctional systems in Washington, Maine, and Pennsylvania, to justify that California prisons are “criminogenic” and a statement from a chief probation officer who testified that “it seems like (the prisons) produce additional criminal behavior”. In that same passage California’s Little Hoover Commission stated, “California communities are burdened with absorbing 123,000 offenders returning from prison, often more dangerous than when they left.”The court also found, “that various available methods of reducing overcrowding would have little or no impact on public safety.”But Justice Scalia and Thomas strongly disagree; Today the Court affirms what is perhaps the most radical injunction issued by a court in our Nation’s history: an order requiring California to release the staggering number of 46,000 convicted criminals.I would reverse the decision below for three interrelated reasons. First, the three-judge court improperly refused to consider evidence concerning present conditions in the California prison system. Second, the court erred in holding that no remedy short of a massive prisoner release can bring the California system into compliance with the Eighth Amendment. Third, the court gave inadequate weight to the impact of its decree on public safety.In taking this view, Congress was well aware of the impact of previous prisoner release orders. The prisoner release program carried out a few years earlier in Philadelphia is illustrative. In the early 1990’s, federal courts enforced a cap on the number of inmates in the Philadelphia prison system, and thousands of inmates were set free. Although efforts were made to release only those prisoners who were least likely to commit violent crimes, that attempt was spectacularly unsuccessful. During an18-month period, the Philadelphia police rearrested thousands of these prisoners for committing 9,732 new crimes. Those defendants were charged with 79 murders, 90 rapes, 1,113 assaults, 959 robberies, 701 burglaries, and 2,748 thefts, not to mention thousands of drug offenses. Members of Congress were well aware of this experience.I fear that today’s decision, like prior prisoner release orders, will lead to a grim roster of victims. I hope that I am wrong. I do not wish to betray the trust of the 1.5 million voters of my party. I do not wish to betray my country. Inspired by Johan van Oldenbarneveldt and Johan de Witt I wish to be a politician who serves the truth end hence defends the freedom of the Dutch provinces and of the Dutch people. I wish to be honest, I wish to act with honesty and that is why I wish to protect my native land against Islam. Austria bans Nazi glorification and Holocaust denial. In the United States nearly unrestricted freedom of speech rights are considered a cornerstone of democracy. Three people suspected of being behind the website were arrested in April, including Gottfried Kuessel, one of the Alpine republic's leading neo-Nazis. But until a couple of weeks ago it continued to spew extremist and anti-Semitic rhetoric. Germany has also run into the problem of shutting down US-hosted neo-Nazi websites. Hungary has faced a similar hurdle for years, although hate speech is considered a crime there only if it incites specific acts of violence or abuse. • Palestinians gear for Sunday march on Israel's borders.(Ynet).Pro-Palestinian pages on social media websites buzzing with calls to rush to all borders on day marking 44th anniversary of Six Day War.Fatah representative in Lebanon, Munir Maqdah, said Tuesday that Palestinians residing in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Gaza were planning to march towards their respective borders with Israel on Sunday, the 44th anniversary of the Six Day War. "We want our lands in Palestine back," Maqdah said, noting that the processions aim to remain non-violent. He also urged UNIFIL forces in south Lebanon to "ensure the march's safety."The Fatah official's statement is the last in a myriad of activities calling on pro-Palestinian activists to march on Israel's borders. The highest flurry of activities is noted on Facebook, where various pro-Palestinian group have issued a similar call: "Our Palestinian countrymen, as part of our just pursuit of statehood… and in response to Netanyahu's speech in Congress and Obama's hesitant speech, we emphasize that Palestine is our land and the land of our forefathers and that will not accept any division or compromise. It also disclosed evidence of Tehran’s work “on a highly sophisticated nuclear triggering technology that experts said could be used for only one purpose: setting off a nuclear weapon.” If a smoking gun were needed, this is it.Yet the “international community” hasn’t uttered a peep about the report. It’s too busy obsessing over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict instead.Two days after the report’s publication, the G8 met in Deauville. • Iran Moves to Disconnect its Internet From World,Iran wants to create his own national'Halal' internet.(Aina).Iran is taking steps toward an aggressive new form of censorship: a so-called national Internet that could, in effect, disconnect Iranian cyberspace from the rest of the world.The leadership in Iran sees the project as a way to end the fight for control of the Internet, according to observers of Iranian policy inside and outside the country. Iran, already among the most sophisticated nations in online censoring, also promotes its national Internet as a cost-saving measure for consumers and as a way to uphold Islamic moral codes.In February, as pro-democracy protests spread rapidly across the Middle East and North Africa, Reza Bagheri Asl, director of the telecommunication ministry's research institute, told an Iranian news agency that soon 60% of the nation's homes and businesses would be on the new, internal network. Within two years it would extend to the entire country, he said.The unusual initiative appears part of a broader effort to confront what the regime now considers a major threat: an online invasion of Western ideas, culture and influence, primarily originating from the U.S. In recent speeches, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other top officials have called this emerging conflict the "soft war."On Friday, new reports emerged in the local press that Iran also intends to roll out its own computer operating system in coming months to replace Microsoft Corp.'s Windows.
