Video - Palestinian Authority TV Antisemitism: "If a fish in the sea fights another fish the Jews are behind it"

Palestinian Authority TV Antisemitism: "If a fish in the sea fights another fish the Jews are behind it" HT: Palwatch.by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Imad Hamato, Professor of Quranic Studies at the University of Palestine in Gaza and host of weekly PA TV program on Islam.‎

The Palestinian Authority teaches that Jews are "evil" and the source of all bad in the world. An official PA TV host and preacher of Islam explained in his weekly education program about Islam, that as long as Jews are spreading their corruption "humanity will never live in comfort." He illustrated this with an example: "An old man told me: If a fish in the sea fights with another fish, I am sure the Jews are behind it".

As Allah says: ''Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. They strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters'' (Sura 5:64)." [Official PA TV, Feb. 27, 2016]

Video - Antisemitic Palestinian clip depicts shootings, stabbings of Israelis. (JPost).

Palestinians on social media are circulating an animated video that shows terrorists taking up arms and killing Israeli soldiers and civilians in attacks that mimic those which have been committed in Israel and the Palestinian territories in recent months.

The graphic clip depicts Palestinians angered by images of their brethren being victimized by Israel, only to respond by using knives, guns, and cars in order to take revenge and “become martyrs.” Read and see the full story here.

Palestinian Authority staff sergeant shot dead after he shoots and wounds 3 Israeli soldiers.

Palestinian Authority staff sergeant shot dead after he shoots and wounds 3 Israeli soldiers. (MaanNews).

A Palestinian was shot dead after shooting and injuring three Israeli soldiers at an Israeli military checkpoint around the illegal Israeli settlement of Beit El in the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah, witnesses told Ma'an.

Witnesses said a Palestinian vehicle approached the Israeli checkpoint and stopped for inspection. When an Israeli soldier approached the driver's window, the driver opened fire, immediately shooting the soldier.

The driver then shot another two Israeli soldiers, one of which witnesses believed was hit in his flak jacket.

Israeli forces then opened fire, shooting the Palestinian driver dead.

Of the three injured, two are in severe condition, while one was mildly injured, a spokesperson with Israel's emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, said.

The Palestinian driver was latter identified as Amjad Jaser Sukkar, 34, a Palestinian Authority staff sergeant from Nablus. Hours after the shooting, his body was returned to PA forces and is expected to be buried later that day.

The Hamas movement issued a statement on Sunday evening hailing Sukkar's "heroic resistance operation."

“This attack showcases the rejection of security coordination with the occupation, even among members of the PA security forces,” Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri was quoted as saying.

Video - Fatah Central Committee Member Tirawi: Palestinian State on 1967 Borders Is Just a Phase.(INN)

A senior member of Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas's inner circle has insisted that any "two-state solution" with Israel would merely be a "phase" in the ultimate dismantlement of the State of Israel.

"Don't think that there can be a solution to the Palestinian issue by establishing a state, the borders of which are limited to the West Bank and Gaza," he said.

Tirawi's view of a "two-state solution" is in line with those of other senior Fatah officials, many of whom openly talk in Arabic of destroying Israel "in stages".

Sen Ted cruz demands answers from Kerry who approved US state dept funds to group sent to oust Netanyahu.

Sen Ted cruz demands answers from Kerry who approved US state dept funds to group sent to oust Netanyahu.(Teaparty).

Republican lawmakers Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas joined Rep. Lee Zeldin of New York in firing a letter off Thursday to Secretary of State John Kerry.
They demand answers regarding reports that a State Department-funded non-profit organization is bankrolling efforts to unseat a foreign leader.
Specifically, the reports allege that the U.S. non-profit OneVoice, which has received at least two U.S. State Department grants in the last year, is funding an Israeli grassroots effort to replace Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel’s March election.

Cruz and Zeldin said in a joint statement Thursday:

“Has President Obama launched a political campaign against Prime Minister Netanyahu and his representatives?” Sen. Cruz asked.

“This administration’s relentless harassment of Israel is utterly incomprehensible. The Islamic Republic of Iran is pursuing the deadliest weapons on the planet, and there can be no doubt that their first target will be Israel, followed by the United States. This administration should be focusing its animosity on the very real enemies we face, not on our staunch allies.”

The Israeli daily newspaper Haaretz made its first report of OneVoice’s funding activities on Tuesday, as well as a five-man team of American campaign experts headed by Jeremy Bird, the Obama campaign’s national field director. That report was quickly picked up by both Israeli and U.S. media

Cruz and Zeldin’s statement continued:

“It is completely unacceptable to use U.S. tax dollars to influence the elections in Israel,” said Rep. Zeldin. “State Department grants should never be given to entities working to overthrow strong allies like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We have great allies around the world, but Israel is our strongest, and a beacon of freedom in a region filled with radical Islamic extremists and state sponsored terrorism. Today, I join with Sen. Ted Cruz in calling for a U.S. Department of State investigation into this important matter.”

The letter asked that Kerry clear up eight questions:

  • How much funding has the U.S. Government provided to OneVoice, PeaceWorks Network Foundation, and any connected initiatives, projects or subsidiaries?

  • Who approved providing such funds?

  • What is the oversight and accounting process for how these funds are being spent?

  • How often and on what dates has such funding been provided?

  • What were the specific reasons and terms for providing funds, and how are these funds specifically being spent?

  • Can the Department of State guarantee that none of these funds have been or will be used in the endeavor detailed above, namely the partnership with V15, or any similar effort to exert undue influence over the Israeli political process?

  • Was there any knowledge from the State Department or other U.S. government officials of the partnership with V15 prior to providing funds to OneVoice?

  • Does OneVoice’s work with V15 violate its 501(c)(3) status (or the status of the PeaceWorks Network Foundation) as a tax-exempt organization and should such status be revoked?
It sounds as though Cruz and Zeldin are trying to offset the influence of Chicago-style politics in Israel using a little common-sense Texas-style justice.

Obama 'Peace Partner' Abbas' Fatah to Hezbollah: "We resist same enemy"

Obama 'Peace Partner' Abbas' Fatah to Hezbollah: "We resist same enemy" HT: Palwatch.

Fatah salutes commander of terror organization Hezbollah as "hero" and "Martyr"

Nan Jacques Zilberdik p:+972 2 625 4140 e: pmw@palwatch.org; f: +972 2 624 2803 w: www.palwatch.org

Earlier this month, Hezbollah commander Jihad Mughniyeh was killed in an Israeli airstrike. Jihad Mughniyeh was commander of the terror organization in the Syrian Golan Heights and son of Imad Mughniyeh, a senior Hezbollah member assassinated in 2008. According to Western intelligence sources, Jihad Mughniyeh was planning and preparing terror attacks against Israel, including firing of rockets and explosive devices meant to target Israelis.

"We are resisting the same enemy," said Rifat Shanaah, the director of Fatah's Lebanon branch who headed the "high-ranking delegation," which Abbas' Fatah party immediately sent off to convey condolences upon the death of Mughniyeh.

The delegation "laid three wreaths on the grave of Martyr Jihad Mughniyeh... on behalf of the embassy of the State of Palestine, the PLO and Fatah."

Speaking "in the name of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement - Fatah; in the name of the PLO and the resisting Palestinian people," Shanaah said:

"We hereby express our heartfelt condolences to [our] brothers in the Hezbollah leadership and to the families of the Martyrs. We are in the same trench, and are resisting the same enemy." [Ma'an (independent Palestinian news agency) Jan. 21, 2015]

He further emphasized Fatah's, PLO's and the Palestinian people's "adherence to the principle of struggle and Jihad between us and our brothers in Hezbollah":

"Cowardly acts such as these (i.e., the Israeli airstrike)... merely strengthen our adherence and determination to resist this enemy... We will adhere even more to our goals and Palestinian national principles... and that of struggle and Jihad between us and our brothers in Hezbollah and all the forces acting to liberate Palestine and Jerusalem." [Ma'an (independent Palestinian news agency) Jan. 21, 2015]

Abbas' Fatah party was also quick to greet Mughniyeh as a "hero" and a "Martyr," posting the following text on its Facebook page:

"Rest in peace, a hero's rest, and give greetings to your father from the free men. Martyr (Shahid) Jihad Mughniyeh." [Facebook, "Fatah - The Main Page", Jan. 18, 2015]

Abbas' advisor and Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein also sent terror organization Hezbollah "our best wishes for its Martyrs": "We convey to Hezbollah our best wishes for its Martyrs, and are certain that its reaction is inevitable, and that it will not pass over this crime in silence." [Facebook page of Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein, Jan. 20, 2015]

Palestinian Media Watch has exposed that Al-Einein glorified the murder of five people in a Jerusalem synagogue in November, blessing their "quality weapons." He has also previously glorified terrorist killers like Dalal Mughrabi and blessed "the breast that nursed" a terrorist who stabbed a man to death.

Several Western countries, among them the US, Canada, France, and the Netherlands, have, like Israel, designated Hezbollah a terrorist organization. Others, among them the EU, Australia, New Zealand and the UK have only listed the organization's military wing as such.

Palestinian Statehood Resolution Rejected by UN Security Council in Blow to Abbas.

Palestinian Statehood Resolution Rejected by UN Security Council in Blow to Abbas. HT: Algemeiner.

The UN Security Council has rejected a resolution that would have compelled Israel to agree to a final peace deal with the Palestinians twelve months from now, with a further deadline in the form of a full withdrawal from the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem by 2017.

The United States and temporary UNSC member Australia were the only two states that voted against the resolution, submitted by Jordan after the text was agreed with the Palestinian Authority and the Arab League.

Votes in favor included France, Russia and China, along with temporary members Argentina, Chad, Chile, Jordan and Luxembourg.

The four remaining states – the UK, along with temporary members Lithuania, Nigeria, the Republic of Korea and Rwanda – abstained.Read the full story here.

Reported text of draft UN resolution on Palestinian 'terror' statehood.

Reported text of draft UN resolution on Palestinian 'terror' statehood. HT: TimesofIsrael.

The draft resolution by the Palestinians calling for an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and East Jerusalem within three years and revised to include language declaring East Jerusalem as the future capital of a Palestinian state was presented to the UN Security Council late Monday

The draft resolution affirms the urgent need to achieve “a just, lasting and comprehensive peaceful solution” to the decades-old Palestinian-Israeli conflict within 12 months and sets a December 31, 2017 deadline for Israel’s occupation to end.

Many of the changes to the draft are semantic, such as the addition of the word “just,” to a call for a solution for outstanding issues including Palestinian refugees, prisoners in Israeli jails and water.

The earlier draft used the term “agreed solution.”

The new text also calls for an independent state of Palestine to be established within the June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and security arrangements “including through a third-party presence.”

The earlier draft mentioned Jerusalem only as a shared capital.

The eight amendments also include new provisions recalling that Israel’s West Bank barrier was declared illegal and demanding an end to Israeli settlement construction in the Palestinian territories and East Jerusalem.

Following is the text of the draft as published online by a website called UN Report but not officially affiliated with the UN. The Times of Israel could not independently verify whether the text conforms to the draft resolution as presented. Read the full story here.

Aljazeera: In Praise Of Stabbings: "Israel Can Make advanced weaponry, But Cannot Protect Its Citizens From Knife Attacks"

Aljazeera.net Article In Praise Of Stabbings, Vehicular Attacks And Other Forms Of Resistance: Israel Can Manufacture Advanced Missile Systems, But Cannot Protect Its Citizens From Knife Attacks. (Memri).

Dr. 'Adnan Abu 'Amer, a Palestinian journalist and Gazan university lecturer, recently devoted his regular column on Aljazirah.net to the November 18, 2014 attack on the Jerusalem synagogue and to other recent attacks in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Abu 'Amer praised the "creativity" of the Palestinian attackers who, he said, have begun using simple weapons like knives and stones that are readily available everywhere. Such weapons, he added, are particularly effective because they can be used by a lone attacker, and the  Israeli security apparatuses are unable to stop this attacker before he strikes. According to Abu 'Amer, the rise in stabbing attacks attests to a growing spirit of self-sacrifice in Palestinian society.
Below are translated excerpts from his article:[1]

Recent Operations Show That Anyone Can Carry Out Resistance Using Primitive Weapons.

"The recent Fidai operations carried out by young Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem against the Israeli army and settlers reveal that the Palestinian people have armed themselves with the will to wage resistance against the occupier, and no longer accept the wretched and bleak situation [that currently exists]. These operations show that we have reached the point of no return, [where it is impossible to go back] to the former status quo that included repeated incursions to the Haram [i.e. the Al-Aqsa compound] and repeated attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

"...The fact that the people of the West Bank and Jerusalem have joined the battlefield of resistance in recent weeks improves and renews the popular primitive weapons, making them more effective than before. In recent operations, the fighters utilized many diverse types of weaponry of increasing sophistication – from stones and slings, through knives and other sharp weapons, to firearms. This qualitative improvement of the resistance tools used in the struggle against the occupier allows every member of the [Palestinian] people to wage resistance with these primitive weapons. And so one person erects a barrier and a second burns a tire, a third makes a fire bomb, a fourth digs a trench, a fifth scatters nails on the road, a sixth stabs a settler and a seventh runs over a soldier. Palestine has become a popular workshop where everyone plays a role.

Primitive Weapons Are Effective And Highlight The Contrast With The Advanced Israeli Weapons.

"A review of the recent resistance [operations] carried out in the Palestinian territories, and of the diverse weapons used, reveals which were the most important weapons – both primitive weapons and firearms, as detailed below:
1.      The stone: used to erect barriers, block traffic arteries and build hideouts and barricades, [including for] ambushes. Even if a stone, in terms of its physical impact, does not evoke a mental image of a heroic battle, it has powerful symbolic significance, because it highlights the contrast between [the Palestinian's simple weapons] and the advanced weaponry of an enemy that possesses an atomic bomb.
2.      The slingshot:... Palestinians use the slingshot in sniping operations against the occupation forces and the settlers and their various means of transport. Its importance lies in the fact that a shooter can use it while remaining unseen, which complicates things for the occupation forces.  Although [this weapon] rarely causes lethal damage, it is capable of causing severe injury if used at close range and if the stone is hefty and the shooter strong.
3.      Arson and burning tires: Last summer the Israelis experienced a 'hot season' whose flames reached the very heart of Israel. Dozens of fires broke out in the forests and woods and set thousands of hectares ablaze. [These fires] constituted an additional surprise for the Israeli security apparatuses, which recently began awakening, now and again, to a new surprise by the resistance.
4.      Barricades and obstacles: this tool was used by the resistance to block the entrances and streets in the cities, villages and refugee camps to occupation army vehicles, and this helped the youths divide the attacks on the Israeli forces [between them], and even more so to retreat at the right moment and guarantee that the occupation's military vehicles and armored cars could not pursue them…"

Obama 'Peace partners' PA minister legitimizes murdering one year old Israelis

Obama 'Peace partners' PA minister legitimizes murdering one year old Israelis. HT: Palwatch.by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

PA minister says 3.5 million shekel fine imposed by Israel upon murderer of one-year-old infant and his father is “delegitimizing the [Palestinian] national resistance”

Ali Sa’ada, a terrorist prisoner who murdered a father and his one-year-old baby, was fined 3.5 million shekels by Israel. That fine is “delegitimizing ‎the [Palestinian] national resistance,” says Prisoners’ Affairs Authority Director ‎and PA Parliament Member Issa Karake. According to Karake, who holds the rank of ‎minister, the killing of one-year-old Israelis is legitimate “resistance.”‎

In his capacity as Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs, Issa Karake has a long history of glorifying terrorist murderers, as documented by Palestinian Media Watch.

Karake defines being a victim of Palestinian terror as “being exposed to resistance by Palestinians”: “[Israeli] courts have been... passing sentences on prisoners that force them to pay large sums in financial compensation to Israelis who have been exposed to resistance by Palestinians.” [WAFA (the official Palestinian news agency), Dec. 16, 2014]

The example Karake cited was the case of terrorist prisoner Ali Sa’ada, who together with Wa’al Al-Araja, murdered Asher Palmer, 25, and his one-year-old son Yonatan on Sept. 23, 2011. Al-Araja threw two stones at Palmer’s car from a vehicle driven by Sa’ada, hitting the baby in the head and causing Palmer to lose control of his vehicle, which ran into a gulley, killing both of them instantly.

The following is a longer excerpt of the story:

“In a statement published today [Dec. 16, 2014], Prisoners’ Affairs Authority Director [and PA Parliament Member] Issa Karake said that the Palestinian government had, in accordance with the new prisoners’ regulations, stopped paying the fines continuously imposed on the prisoners by the occupation courts. He clarified that the occupation courts collect large sums from the prisoners, and that 95% of the verdicts pronounced by these courts involve fines, some of which are exceedingly high...

Karake noted the existence of an even more severe policy, which the occupation courts have been adopting, and which involves the passing of sentences on prisoners that force them to pay large sums in financial compensation to Israelis who have been exposed to resistance by Palestinians (i.e., terror attacks). He noted that [a fine of] 3.5 million shekels had been imposed on prisoner Ali Sa’ada, as compensation for the families of the killed settlers, with the aim of delegitimizing the [Palestinian] nationalresistance against the occupation.” [WAFA (the official Palestinian news agency), Dec. 16, 2014.  Hmmmm........Paid by your tax dollars from the U.S. and Europe.
