Corroborating what Judicial Watch uncovered years ago, a U.S. military intelligence report discloses that Muslim terrorists are being smuggled into the country through Mexico. The government calls them Special Interest Aliens (SIA) and Latin American smuggling networks are helping them cross the border, according to information obtained from a U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) Intelligence dispatch.

Located in Miami, Florida SOUTHCOM is one of nine unified combat commands in the Department of Defense (DOD). It’s responsible for providing contingency planning operations and security cooperation in Central and South America as well as the Caribbean. The internal assessment on SIA smuggling has not been made public, but a conservative Washington D.C. online newspaper obtained key points from the command’s J-2 intelligence directorate.

A SOUTHCOM Army colonel told the paper that in 2015 more than 30,000 migrants who entered the U.S. through the southwestern border were from countries of “terrorist concern.”

The new SOUTHCOM report specifically mentions Sunni extremists, the news article states.

“Networks that specialize in smuggling individuals from regions of terrorist concern, mainly from the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, the Middle East, and East Africa, are indeed a concern for SOUTHCOM and other interagency security partners who support our country’s national security,” a SOUTHCOM Army Colonel, Lisa A. Turkey refused to allow ships to enter NATO country's territorial waters in the Aegean Sea. the Alliance's mission is to intercept boats carrying illegal migrants, traveling from Turkey to Greece, and then in other European countries.

This information to the French news agency Agence France-Presse confirmed several diplomatic sources in Brussels, reports Lenta.ru.

According to one of the interlocutors of Ankara stance toward the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's mission it has been known from the outset.

The source pointed out that Turkey is not very interested in the fact that migrants after how they intercepted at sea or save after the collapse of the crowded boats, returning back to the country.

Turkey has put unexpected obstacles in Angela Merkel's way with regard to cooperation with NATO and the recent military campaign in Aegean Sea.

Earlier, NATO deployed warships in the area to control the growing influx of migrants, but Turkey doesn't want any NATO military ships in Turkish territorial waters, German newspaper Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten (DWN) wrote.

"This indicates that Erdogan is completely getting out of control of Americans and NATO in general. Of course, he doesn't want a close monitoring at the border zone, in the waters adjacent to the territory of Turkey and Greece, because there is an entire business there, involving the Turkish authorities, aimed at smuggling refugees from Turkey to the Greek islands," Director of the Center for the Study of the Middle East and Central Asia, Semen Bagdasarov, told Sputnik.

Earlier, a senior diplomat told DWN under condition of anonymity that Turkey shows no or little enthusiasm to implement the military part of Merkel's plan. The situation in the Aegean Sea will now depend on the outcome of further negotiations between the Germans and Turks. "Germany wants to deploy forces in Turkish waters, but the Turks have rejected this [plan]," the diplomat said.

The part of the agreement that provides for refugees arriving on boards to be returned to Turkey has also caused significant problems, the diplomat said, adding that Turkey has shown "little or no enthusiasm" to implement the agreement into practice.

However, Ankara has denied claims that it had refused to allow NATO ships enter its territorial waters in the Aegean Sea to monitor networks of migrant smugglers operating between Turkey and Greece, Turkish media reported Wednesday. Europol has launched the new European Migrant Smuggling Centre (EMSC), with the aim of supporting member states in dismantling criminal networks involved in organised migrant smuggling.

The Centre will focus on geographical criminal hotspots, and will build a better capability across the European Union to fight people smuggling networks.

Dimitris Avramopoulos, EU Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, said: “The fight against migrant smuggling is a key priority for the European Union in addressing the refugee crisis. In order to step up and coordinate efforts across Member States, the European Commission announced the creation of a European Migrant Smuggling Centre with Europol in its European Agenda on Migration. The launch of this Centre will reinforce cooperation with Member States, international organisations, national stakeholders and European agencies, with a responsibility to fight migrant smuggling.”

Rob Wainwright, Director of Europol; said: “Europol’s research indicates 90% of migrants arriving in Europe have their journey facilitated by a criminal organisation. Tackling this huge people smuggling trade, therefore, has become an essential part of the EU’s response to the migrant crisis.

The European Migrant Smuggling Centre will provide the necessary platform by which Member States can improve their exchange of information and operational coordination in the fight against organised migrant smuggling.”

The European Migrant Smuggling Centre will be led by Robert Crepinko who said: “The EMSC will play a decisive role in proactively supporting Member States to target and dismantle organised crime networks involved in migrant smuggling. Turkish police have seized more than 1,000 foreign passports and detained eight suspects in raids on multiple homes as part of an operation that targeted human smugglers in Istanbul.

A total of eight suspects were detained on Feb. 3 in the operation that came weeks after a historic deal with the EU to stem the migrant flow to the 28-member-state union in exchange for 3 billion euros aid for Syrian migrants living in the Turkish soil.

Teams from the Istanbul police’s anti-smuggling bureau conducted simultaneous operations against a migrant smuggling group in 14 addresses in Istanbul’s districts after a tip-off which was followed by a six-month pursuit.

Some 1050 original passports belonging to 50 different countries, including France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland were seized during searches conducted inside the raided houses. 

Some 33 identity cards and driving licenses, along with 200 boarding cards and 10 seals from Istanbul’s Atatürk and Sabiha Gökçen airports, were also seized.

Police also caught a total of 197 suspects, including Syrians, Afghans and Iranians, before leaving Turkey with their prepared passports. However, one suspect, who was thought to be the leader of the group and identified as H.K., could not be found. It has also been reported the migrant smuggling organization had offered migrants a guaranteed departure for $15,000 and used original passports for them to use during their departure. A year after freeing tens of thousands of illegal immigrants convicted of serious crimes, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is distorting annual deportation figures by falsely claiming the number of criminal aliens removed from the U.S. keeps increasing when in fact it’s shrinking drastically.

In fiscal year 2015 deportation figures released this week, DHS celebrates that its enforcement efforts prioritize criminals and threats to public safety as well as national security. The agency created after 9/11 to keep the country safe claims the latest stats show “the number of convicted criminals removed from the interior continued to increase.”

The reality is that deportations of criminal aliens declined 27% from last year—from 86,923 in 2014 to 63,127 in 2015. This serious discrepancy was exposed by the Washington D.C.-based Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), which further reveals that the number of criminal deportations in fiscal year 2015 is less than half of what it was in 2011.

Immigration enforcement remains in a state of collapse, according to the official statistics released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today.

• Total deportations by ICE (including both border and interior cases) declined 25% from last year, from 315,943 in 2014 to 235,413 in 2015.
• Interior deportations by ICE declined 31% from last year, from 100,114 in 2014 to 69,478 in 2015.
• Most concerning, deportations of criminal aliens from the interior declined 27% from last year, from 86,923 in 2014 to 63,127 in 2015.

The number of interior deportations is now less than one-third of what it was in 2011, before the Obama administration implemented policy changes that greatly restricted the types of cases that ICE officers and agents could pursue for deportation. The number of criminal alien deportations from the interior is less than half of what it was in 2011.




ICE Director Sarah Saldana said that she was "proud of the numbers" when she testified at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on December 2, 2015.

In a press release announcing the numbers today, DHS falsely says "the number of convicted criminals removed from the interior continued to increase." EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said Saturday, after a two-day informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg that Europe will soon decide on the rules concerning labels that will inform consumers when imported Israeli products come from Jewish farmers in Judea and Samaria.

“The work is close to being finished but it is still ongoing,” she said. Some EU countries, including Britain, already warn consumers about products made by Jews in the area largely east of the 1949 armistice line, also known as the “green line.” That area, which includes parts of Jerusalem, was captured by Jordan in 1949 but was never formally annexed, so that when it was captured by Israel in 1967, it had the status of a no man’s land. International Law forbids an occupying country to transfer civilians into land taken in war, but it does not hold the same restrictions in a case where the land did not legally belong to anyone.

Having resolved the issue of alerting European consumers about the different identities of the Jews who sell them goods, Mogherini turned to dealing with the influx of hundreds of thousands of refugees from Syria, Iraq, and east and north Africa, declaring that the refugees are not going anywhere, and member states must adjust to this new reality.

“It is here to stay; the sooner we accept it, the sooner we will be able to respond effectively [and] united as Europeans,” Mogherini said. Read the full story here.

A GREEK cargo ship thought to be carrying 700 migrants - including Kurds and Syrians - has docked in the Italian port of Gallipoli after it was abandoned by its crew.

The Blue Sky M was headed to the Italian coast on autopilot when it was apparently abandoned by its crew in Greek waters off the coast of Corfu.

Italian officials took control of the the vessel when it was spotted yesterday after authorities received a distress call about a potential incident on board.

Today, the Italian Red Cross posted images showing the ship docking in Italy, while ambulance crews were pictured waiting following reports some passengers were suffering frostbite.

Four migrants - thought to be Kurds and Syrians – had been found dead on the cargo ship, the Red Cross confirmed.

A spokeswoman for the charity, Mimma Antonagi, said the exact number of people on board is still not known - but the estimated number of 600 to 700 passengers is said to have risen. Read the full story here.
