Erdogan: "acts of terrorism never bind Muslims or Islamic countries”

Erdogan: "acts of terrorism never bind Muslims or Islamic countries” (HD).

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called on Muslim countries yesterday to warn Western countries against a rise in Islamophobia, addressing a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul.

“We want our friends in the West to see that Islamophobia has become a serious problem. We also expect Islamic countries to sincerely warn the West over this issue,” he said.

Addressing the 10th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul, Erdogan said the only way to overcome the crisis in the Islamic world was unity, solidarity and alliance.

“This meeting is a great opportunity to discuss the problems of the Islamic world. Because we can resolve every problem as long as we are united,” he said.

Erdogan said Islamic states had to defeat the successors of the iconic British officer Lawrence of Arabia who were seeking to disrupt the Middle East. His comments came ahead of a tour of Ethiopia, Somalia and Djibouti scheduled to begin Jan. 21.

He said acts of terrorism “never bind Muslims or Islamic countries” and called on the Muslim world to engage in “self-criticism” to define a united route in order to address the challenges.

“When the Muslim world remains silent and every sect stands behind their own sympathizers, others are stepping in: terrorists and modern Lawrences,” he said.

Erdoğan also criticized the U.N. Security Council for making decisions on issues that concern the Muslim world, without having a Muslim member among its permanent members.

“Is there any single Muslim country among the five” permanent members of the U.N. Security Council? “Is the entire world surrendered to the five members? Can justice be there?” he asked.

“We are 56 countries. Won’t we question what our function is? Islamic countries make up almost one-third of the United Nations,” he told the OIC.

“When Israel killed more than 2,500 people, including women and children last year, no Western country or the U.N. condemned Israel for its terrorist deeds as they condemned the French attacks,” he said. Hmmmm.......The term “Islamophobia” was  by the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT), a front group of the Muslim Brotherhood.  Read the full story here.

Islamophobia actually means FEAR of Islam - its TEACHINGS - and NOT of Muslims, should it be a legitimate and real condition among the so called UNBELIEVERS?

5 facts about the Muslim population in Europe.

5 facts about the Muslim population in Europe. (PewResearch).

Recent violence in France and protest marches in Germany have drawn renewed attention to Europe’s Muslim population.

In many European countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, concerns about growing Muslim communities have led to calls for restrictions on immigration. But just how large is Europe’s Muslim population, and how fast is it growing?

Using the Pew Research Center’s most recent population estimates, here are five facts about the size and makeup of the Muslim population in Europe:

1 Germany and France have the largest Muslim populations among European Union member countries. As of 2010, there were 4.8 million Muslims in Germany (5.8% of the country’s population) and 4.7 million Muslims in France (7.5%). In Europe overall, however, Russia’s population of 14 million Muslims (10%) is the largest on the continent.

2 The Muslim share of Europe’s total population has been increasing steadily. In recent decades, the Muslim share of the population throughout Europe grew about 1 percentage point a decade, from 4% in 1990 to 6% in 2010. This pattern is expected to continue through 2030, when Muslims are projected to make up 8% of Europe’s population.

3 Muslims are younger than other Europeans. In 2010, the median age of Muslims throughout Europe was 32, eight years younger than the median for all Europeans (40). By contrast, the median age of religiously unaffiliated people in Europe, including atheists, agnostics and those with no religion in particular, was 37. The median age of European Christians was 42. Video - New FBI Hate Crime Stats Tell the Shocking Islamo'Faux'bia Story

by PJ Media

The latest FBI hate crime stats bring shocking news for Americans who know all too well about the Islamophobic backlash that Muslims have endured after terror attacks. Brace for it: Fully 2.3 percent of hate crimes were anti-Islamic! Scott Ott calls on President Obama to address the “savage inequality.”

European 'No-Go' Zones: Fact or Fiction? Part 1: France.

European 'No-Go' Zones: Fact or Fiction? Part 1: France. HT: GatestoneInstitute.
A 120-page research paper entitled "No-Go Zones in the French Republic: Myth or Reality?" documented dozens of French neighborhoods "where police and gendarmerie cannot enforce the Republican order or even enter without risking confrontation, projectiles, or even fatal shootings."
In October 2011, a 2,200-page report, "Banlieue de la République" (Suburbs of the Republic) found that Seine-Saint-Denis and other Parisian suburbs are becoming "separate Islamic societies" cut off from the French state and where Islamic Sharia law is rapidly displacing French civil law.
The report also showed how the problem is being exacerbated by radical Muslim preachers who are promoting the social marginalization of Muslim immigrants in order to create a parallel Muslim society in France that is ruled by Sharia law.
The television presenter asks: "What if we went to the suburbs?" Obertone replies: "I do not recommend this. Not even we French dare go there anymore. But nobody talks about this in public, of course. Nor do those who claim, 'long live multiculturalism,' and 'Paris is wonderful!' dare enter the suburbs."
The jihadist attack on the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo, a French magazine known for lampooning Islam, has cast a spotlight on so-called no-go zones in France and other European countries.
No-go zones are Muslim-dominated neighborhoods that are largely off limits to non-Muslims due to a variety of factors, including the lawlessness and insecurity that pervades a great number of these areas. Host-country authorities have effectively lost control over many no-go zones and are often unable or unwilling to provide even basic public aid, such as police, fire fighting and ambulance services, out of fear of being attacked by Muslim youth.

Muslim enclaves in European cities are also breeding grounds for Islamic radicalism and pose a significant threat to Western security.

Europe's no-go zones are the by-product of decades of multicultural policies that have encouraged Muslim immigrants to create parallel societies and remain segregated from — rather than become integrated into — their European host nations.

The problem of no-go zones is well documented, but multiculturalists and their politically correct supporters vehemently deny that they exist. Some are now engaged in a concerted campaign to discredit and even silence those who draw attention to the issue.

Consider Carol Matlack, an American writer for Bloomberg Businessweek, who recently penned a story — entitled "Debunking the Myth of Muslim-Only Zones in Major European Cities" — in which she claims that no-go zones are nothing more than an "urban legend" that is "demonstrably untrue." She then goes on to ridicule those who disagree with her.

The American cable television channel Fox News has also issued at least four apologies for referring to Muslim no-go zones in Europe, after one commentator erroneously claimed that the entire city of Birmingham, England, was Muslim. Had he simply said that "parts" of Birmingham are Muslim, he would have been correct.

Despite such politically correct denials, Muslim no-go zones are a well-known fact of life in many parts of Europe.

What follows is the first in a multi-part series that will document the reality of Europe's no-go zones. The series begins by focusing on France and provides a brief compilation of just a few of the literally thousands of references to French no-go zones from academic, police, media and government sources that can easily be found on the Internet by doing a simple search on Google.

Fabrice Balanche, a well-known French Islam scholar who teaches at the University of Lyon, recently told Radio Télévision Suisse: "You have territories in France such as Roubaix, such as northern Marseille, where police will not step foot, where the authority of state is completely absent, where mini Islamic states have been formed."

French writer and political journalist Éric Zemmour recently told BFM TV: "There are places in France today, especially in the suburbs, where it is not really in France. Salafi Islamists are Islamizing some neighborhoods and some suburbs. In these neighborhoods, it's not France, it's an Islamic republic."

In a separate interview, Zemmour — whose latest book is entitled, "The French Suicide" — says multiculturalism and the reign of politically correct speech is destroying the country.
French politician Franck Guiot wrote that parts of Évry, a township in the southern suburbs of Paris, are no-go zones where police forces cannot go for fear of being attacked. He said that politicians seeking to maintain "social peace" were prohibiting the police from using their weapons to defend themselves.

The Socialist mayor of Amiens, Gilles Demailly, has referred to the Fafet-Brossolette district of the city as a "no-go zone" where "you can no longer order a pizza or get a doctor to come to the house." Europe 1, one of the leading broadcasters in France, has referred to Marseille as a "no-go zone" after the government was forced to deploy riot police, known as CRS, to confront warring Muslim gangs in the city. The French Interior Ministry said it was trying to "reconquer" 184 square kilometers (71 square miles) of Marseille that have come under the control of Muslim gangs.

The French newspaper Le Figaro has referred to downtown Perpignan as a "veritable no-go zone" where "aggression, antisocial behavior, drug trafficking, Muslim communalism, racial tensions and tribal violence" are forcing non-Muslims to move out. Le Figaro also reported that the Les Izards district of Toulouse was a no-go zone, where Arab drug trafficking gangs rule the streets in a climate of fear.

Separately, Le Figaro reported that large quantities of assault rifles are circulating in French no-go zones. "For a few hundred dollars you can buy Kalashnikovs," political scientist Sebastian Roché said. "The price of an iPhone!"

The newspaper France Soir published poll results showing that nearly 60% of French citizens are in favor of sending the army into troubled suburbs to restore order.

The newspaper Le Parisien has called parts of Grigny, a township in the southern suburbs of Paris, a "lawless zone" plagued by well-organized Muslim gangs, whose members believe they are "masters of the world." The weekly newsmagazine Le Point reported on the spiraling Muslim lawlessness in the French city of Grenoble.

The French magazine L'Obs (formerly known as Le Nouvel Observateur) has reported on the deteriorating security situation in Roubaix, a city in northern France that is located close to the Belgian border.

The magazine reported that local citizens are "exiled within their own country" and want to create their own militia to restore order because police are afraid to confront Muslim gangs.

In August 2014, the French magazine Valeurs Actuelles (Contemporary Values) reported that "France has more than 750 areas of lawlessness" where the law of the French Republic no longer applies.

Under the headline "Hell in France," the magazine said that many parts of France are experiencing a "dictatorship of riffraff" where police are "greeted by mortar fire" and are "forced to retreat by projectiles."

Separately, Valeurs Actuelles reported on the lawlessness in Trappes, a township located in the western suburbs of Paris, where radical Islam and endemic crime go hand in hand.

"Criminals are pursued by Islamic fundamentalists to impose an alternative society, breaking links with the French Republic," according to local police commander Mohammed Duhan. It is not advisable to go there, he says, adding, "You will be spotted by so-called chauffeurs (lookouts for drug traffickers) and be stripped and smashed."

Valeurs Actuelles has also reported on no-go zones in Nantes, Tours and Orléans, which have turned into "battlefields" where the few remaining native French holdouts are confronted with "Muslim communalism, the disappearance of their cultural references and rampant crime."

A graphic 20-minute documentary (in French) about the no-go zone in Clichy Montfermeil, a suburb of Paris, can be viewed Below. At around the 3-minute mark, the video shows what happens when French police enter the area.Read the full story here.

Press release: ICLA deconstructs “Islamophobia”

Press release: ICLA deconstructs “Islamophobia”.By ICLA Admin.

ICLA, the International Civil Liberties Alliance, today publishes a comprehensive white paper entitled “The Problematic Definition of “Islamophobia””, where the concept of “Islamophobia” is subjected to a comprehensive analysis. Specifically, the definition in question is the one presented by the representative of Turkey at the OSCE conference in Tirana, Albania in May, 2013.
Quite unconventionally, OSCE has published material about “Islamophobia” without providing any definition of the term, in particular [Guidelines]. Despite repeated calls by human rights activists for clarification, only in 2013 a definition was provided. Which, remarkably, is very similar to one given by the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC), a fact that in itself should raise concerns over its applicability to any issues pertaining to human rights and fundamental freedoms.

The analysis is written by an ICLA team of experts, and demonstrates in meticulous detail that the definition is badly flawed on 13 major points, as well as on many more details pertaining to each of these points.

The analysis shows the definition to be, various points, misleading, circular, self-contradictory and/or meaningless. It even turns out that, if the definition is to be applied as written, Islam as such will have to be considered “Islamophobic”, based on its own scripture and tradition.

It is the recommendation of ICLA that no institution aiming to promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms make any use of this term. Any use of this and other ill-defined terms lends itself towards undermining fundamental freedoms rather than protecting them.

In particular, ill-defined terms could be misused to justify the granting of special privileges and protections to specific groups, which would be contrary to principles of equal rights for all.

Instead, ICLA recommends that OSCE participating States and other relevant parties focus their efforts on protecting individual rights rather than group rights, and reject any request or intimidation calling for any form of special rights, status or protections for specific groups.

The release of the ICLA white paper on ”Islamophobia” is timed to coincide with ICLA participating in the annual OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting in Warsaw, Poland.

At this conference, the paper will be presented at a public side event entitled “How bad definitions violate fundamental OSCE commitments”. Refreshments will be provided.
Event location: Opera Room, Hotel Sofitel, Warsaw, Poland
Event timetable: Thursday September 26th 13-15 CET.
ICLA may be contacted on i@libertiesalliance.org or by telephone on +45 2194 4044

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei: The European Races Are Barbaric Races.

Following are excerpts from an address delivered by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei at a conference for women and aired on Channel 1, Iranian TV, on May 10, 2013:

Ali Khamenei: The European races are barbaric. They wear freshly pressed suits and ties, and they smell of eau de cologne, but deep down, they still have the same barbaric nature known from history.

They kill with ease. They murder people without any problem. Therefore, beating women in their homes is of no consequence to the [Europeans] and Americans, whereas in an Islamic environment, it is unimaginable.Source: Memri.

Bangladesh - 11 died, not 2,500: DMP Commissioner Benazir.

Bangladesh - 11 died, not 2,500: DMP Commissioner Benazir.(TDS). An ill-motivated group has been campaigning that over 2,500 to 3,000 people died during the Motijheel operation,’ DMP Commissioner Benazir says at a press briefing Wednesday. Photo: TV grab

Trashing the claim of death of 2,500 to 3,000 Hefajat-e Islam activists merely as a rumour, Dhaka Metropolitan Police has said 11 people, including a policeman, died in Motijheel between Sunday and early Monday.

A vested ill-motivated group was campaigning that over 2,500 to 3,000 people had died during law enforcers’ drive to flush out Hefajat men from Shapla Chattar and adjoining areas, DMP Commissioner Benazir Ahmed said at a press briefing in the afternoon.

Had the death figure reached so high (2,500-3,000), families of the victims would rush to Dhaka and claim for the bodies,” he told journalists at DMP Media Centre.

There were intelligence reports that Hefajat activists might have carried out rampage and looted Bangladesh Bank, the Secretariat and other important offices, Benazir said. “It is on the basis of that report that we conducted the drive without carrying any lethal weapons to ensure zero casualty,” he added.Read the full story here.

Palestinian 'henchmen' now rewriting history destroying Jewish heritage.

Palestinian 'henchmen' now rewriting history destroying Jewish heritage.HT: AstuteBlogger.

Pamela Geller's written about some of the propaganda exhibits that falsely claim there was ever a "palestinian people" of Arab/Islamic background (Hat tip: Jihad Watch):
Today we are at a point where history and facts must be “erased” and rewritten, because truth is racist-Islamophobic-anti-Muslim bigotry. Historical revisionism has taken on a new life, as history is scrubbed and manufactured Muslim myths are presented as fact.

Pioneering historian Bat Ye’or recently visited the British Museum and found that “Palestinian propaganda and its cohorts of EU bowdlerizing troops have also visited the Museum which is why all the information notes pertaining to the artifacts that mention the history of the Kingdoms of Judea and Israel now also mention the word “Palestine” – even 3,000 years B.C. – while the name was only given to the land in 135 A.D. by Roman Emperor Hadrian when he incorporated it into the Roman Empire.”

This is beyond depressing; it’s shocking. The “Big Lie” Nazi-esque narrative has been thrust upon every corner of culture, education and “dialogue” in the weak and subdued West. There is no escape from this Islamic imperialism. Shariah enforcement extends far beyond the obvious attempts to silence critics of jihad and Shariah. The scrubbing of the 270 million victims of jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements from academic texts has been going on for well over a decade.
The demonization and smearing of politicians who dare speak against the most extreme and radical ideology on the face of the earth is virtually automatic at this point, as is the self-enforcing Shariah compliance of the mainstream media. And now, history itself is being rewritten.

There is no “historical” Palestine – it’s Israel. The Romans wanted to punish the Jews after their defeat at Masada in the first century. The Roman emperor Hadrian meant to erase the name of Israel and Judah, so that there would be no memory of the country that belonged to that Jewish people. He wanted a name that would humiliate the Jews, and found that in an extinct people called the “Philistines,” the enemies of the Israelites.

Some things never change – but it is fitting that the namesake of today’s “Palestinians” is the Philistines. And they do indeed mirror the savagery of that ancient and now-extinct people.

Nor is the British Museum alone. 1001 Muslim Inventions, a traveling museum exhibit, has appeared all over the West to huge acclaim. (A half-million visitors attended it in Los Angeles alone.) It has indoctrinated hundreds of thousands of children into a rosy and romanticized view of Islam that makes them less appreciative of their own culture’s achievements and more complacent about Islamization in the West.
Definitely disturbing, and needs to be countered wherever it's being displayed. That's another something I hope Geller will bring up in her next conferences.Hmmmm........Cleaning up history before their version of the  'Final Solution'?Read the full story here.

Belgistan Back on Track? Fouad Belkasem aka Abu Imran, Sharia4Belgium leader may serve remainder of his sentence at home with ankle strap.

Belgistan Back on Track? Fouad Belkasem aka Abu Imran, Sharia4Belgium leader may serve remainder of his sentence at home with ankle strap.(Today.Be).(GoogleTranslate).By Alex Kestens. showdown looms in Belgium.Eight months extremists Sharia4Belgium had to wait for the release of their leader Abu Imran. Too bad for them, for their great leader may go home, but he has been banned from talking to his disciples.
Abu Imran, alias Fouad Belkacem, hit Thursday the prison door behind him and went to his home town Boom. There he may serve the remainder of his sentence with an ankle strap. The thirty year old Belkacem was eight months in jail.
Normally he had to remain in jail until November. An application for parole was rejected in December. His request for the rest of his sentence to sit at home under electronic surveillance was it approved. Something that is not even abnormal.
Abu Imran had a lot over in order to be able to return home. Through his lawyers he had previously stated that he wanted to commit, once home, not to speak to the press and that he would 'ignore' his followers.
That is a line through the plans of those followers. Even that in October last year they decided to dismantle Sharia4Belgium, the very extremist members continue to be very active discribe different observers. And there are walking around dozens of them. Only they miss their leader and that is and remains Abu Imran.
He is not in question. Within the group has not risen to the leadership demands. Even without them being 'together' under the name Sharia4Belgium they remain a source of concern for the Belgian security.
It is difficult for them alone without public meetings to recruit new people. On the other hand it is more difficult to figure out what the extremists are up to.Have the Belgians ever heard the expression 'Al-taqiyya or 'Tawriya'?Read the full story here.

"My Jihad is" - Jihad not linked terrorism, Turkish FM Davutoğlu says.

"My Jihad is" - Jihad not linked terrorism, Turkish FM Davutoğlu says.(HD).By Erdem Güneş.
There is no connection between jihad and terrorism, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu said yesterday, adding that suggestions to the contrary come from American neo-cons and Israelis.
Jihad is the name of fighting for our honor if required but firstly it means fighting against our own self’s limits, according to us,” Davutoğlu said yesterday in Istanbul at the headquarters of the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD), where he attended the conference “Turkey in the light of international developments, 2013.”
For us, jihad is a sacred notion; let us not taint this notion by using it like neo-cons and pro-Israelis in America,” Davutoğlu said while condemning an opposition party deputy who asked the Turkish government on its policy regarding the jihadist movement in Syria at a Turkey-EU Joint Parliamentary Commission meeting on Feb. 15.
Davutoğlu also criticized the particular deputy for asking question in English instead of Turkish since the session was held in the Turkish Assembly, albeit with EU officials.
A mentality has appeared now that is tainting these notions [of jihad]; they have introduced [this usage] into our culture, and they even use it in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which was founded with help that came from a jihad fatwa [during Turkey’s Liberation War],” Davutoğlu said.
Davutoğlu also told an anecdote about a Turkish diplomat named Cihad Erginay – who was Turkey’s envoy to the Czech Republic at the time – in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington.
“His name is also jihad; the ones who greeted him in the airport were walking behind and yelled at him ‘Cihat,’ then everybody hits the deck,” Davutoğlu said, adding that this was part of the outcome of the misunderstanding of the word jihad.
Meanwhile, Aykan Erdemir, a main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) deputy told the Daily News on the phone yesterday that he was the one to ask Davutoğlu if Turkey considered the al-Nusra Front in Syria, which identifies itself a jihadist movement, as a terrorist organization like the U.S. and NATO do.
It was a yes or no question; in not answering it, he called me an Orientalist, which is total defamation. Does he also blame al-Nusra for Orientalism? Do you count this organization as a terrorist organization or not, that was the question. The Turkish public must be informed about Turkey’s position,” Erdemir said.Hmmmm........"My Jihad is Al -taqiyya......What's yours?".Read the full story here.

Video - Egyptian Anti-Porn Activist Muhammad Raed: .When Muslims in Islamic Countries Watch a Lot of Porn, Disasters Occur in Gaza

Egyptian Anti-Porn Activist Muhammad Raed: .When Muslims in Islamic Countries Watch a Lot of Porn, Disasters Occur in Gaza.

Following are excerpts from an interview with Egyptian anti-porn activist Muhammad Raed, which aired on Iqra TV on February 1, 2013.

Muhammad Raed: You talked about freedom. Is this the freedom you would like to lead us to? [In the West], most of the sons and daughters don’t know who their fathers and mothers are.

We want these [Islamic] countries to live a normal life. I know that you are my father and that you are my mother.

Interviewer: I understand we have a report that you did on the screen. Can you explain to us what these statistics mean?

Muhammad Raed: Yes. It’s about the Muslim countries. [The study covered] seven or five years, [and found that] the eight weeks in which people watched the most porn sites were six weeks after we finished Ramadhan, and during the summer holidays.

There were punishments from Allah in our countries during these days. The guy who did this [study] found whole reasons – like what happened to Gaza, in Palestine, on this day, and what happened…

Interviewer: You found a correlation between people watching a lot of pornography, and disasters happening…

Muhammad Raed: Yes. I wondered… It was a video in Arabic: “Gaza and Sin.” I wondered: Oh my God, it’s really like what Allah told us in the Koran – “Corruption has appeared on land and in sea, because of what the hands of men have wrought,” because of what you are doing. He said: “because of what the hands of men have wrought” – to give them a taste of sin, so they will go back to Allah.

Interviewer: I would just like to clarify that presumably, most of this pornography was watched in the other Arab countries, not in Gaza itself. I would just like to make this distinction to show that the Muslim nation is being collectively punished for this sin, but it is not the people in Gaza, who are lucky to get water and food, of course. But it is because of all the actions of the Muslim nation that we can have this kind of extreme disasters. That’s what you are saying.

Muhammad Raed: Yes, it’s a punishment for us. It’s not a punishment for you to see the kids killed and the women raped? It’s a very bad punishment. And it’s not only in Gaza – a lot of accidents happened in Egypt on the same days.Source: Memri.

Hate preacher Anjem Choudary urging: “Claim your Jihad Seeker’s Allowance.”death threats to   leaders such as David Cameron and Barack Obama.HT: SunNews. He cruelly ridiculed non-Muslims who held down 9-to-5 jobs all their lives and said sponging off them made plotting holy war easier.

The Sun secretly filmed him over three meetings also saying leaders such as David Cameron and Barack Obama should be KILLED, grinning as he branded the Queen “ugly” and predicting a “tsunami” of Islamic immigrants would sweep Europe.
Former lawyer Choudary — twice banned from running organisations under the Terrorism Act — said some revered Islamic figures had only ever worked one or two days a year, adding: “The rest of the year they were busy with jihad (holy war) and things like that.”
He said: “Now we are taking over Birmingham and populating it. “Brussels is 30 per cent, Amsterdam 40 per cent Muslim and Bradford is 17 per cent Muslim.
Choudary, 45, joined with terrorist cleric Omar Bakri to run the group al-Muhajiroun which held anti-Western demonstrations before it was banned. He is also the former leader of Islam4UK — also outlawed in 2010 under the Terrorism Act. Now he is recruiting young Muslims to a new extremist group.
When confronted by The Sun he said: “Many people in the Muslim community are on Jobseeker’s Allowance and welfare benefits. As a joke I may say something about Jihad Seeker’s Allowance. Clearly it is not a Jihad Seeker’s Allowance.Hmmmm.......I hope the FBI takes action on the death threats .....or he might be the perfect candidate to try out the accuracy of the predator drones.Read and see the full story here.

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi Caught in Lie about Working for NASA.Following are excerpts from statements made by Egyptian talk-show host Mahmoud Saad, which aired on Al-Nahar TV on January 11, 2013.

Mahmoud Saad: Let’s see what [Morsi] said in an interview with Nader Al-Bakkar:
Footage of Nader Al-Bakkar’s interview with Mohamed Morsi.

Mohamed Morsi: I never said or wrote that I used to work for NASA. This never happened. I have never worked for NASA. I never wrote that I did. My CV does not say that I worked for NASA.
Cut back to studio.

Mahmoud Saad: What do you think? This is Dr. Mohamed Morsi’s CV: “Dr. Mohamed Morsi is the leader of the Freedom and Justice Party, and a former member of the Guidance Council of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

[...]

He conducted research for NASA and worked for NASA.” This is what you wrote. They say that I don’t understand the difference between working and being a consultant. He didn’t work there, nor was he a consultant, and there is nothing wrong with that. What is shameful is that the president wrote things that are not true. That is what is shameful. That is the problem.
Morsi told Nader Al-Bakkar that none of this was true, even though he himself had said, in an interview with Khairi Ramadhan, that he had worked for NASA. Let’s watch.

Footage of Khairi Ramadhan’s interview with Mohamed Morsi.

Mohamed Morsi: I worked in teaching, in industry, and as a consultant for NASA, in the field of spaceship engines. I did this for a long period. I conducted a lot of research on this.
Cut back to studio.

Mahmoud Saad: I don’t get it. He said that he had worked as a consultant for NASA for a long time. This means that he worked there. Then he took it back in the interview with Nader Al-Bakkar. What is this?Source: Memri.

Hate Crime Stats Deflate 'Islamophobia' Myth

Hate Crime Stats Deflate 'Islamophobia' Myth.(MiddleEastForum).By David J. Rusin. National Review Online.

A detailed analysis of FBI statistics covering ten full calendar years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks reveals that, on a per capita basis, American Muslims, contrary to spin, have been subjected to hate crimes less often than other prominent minorities.
From 2002 to 2011, Muslims are estimated to have suffered hate crimes at a frequency of 6.0 incidents per 100,000 per year — 10 percent lower than blacks (6.7), 48 percent lower than homosexuals and bisexuals (11.5), and 59 percent lower than Jews (14.8). Americans should keep these numbers in mind whenever Islamists attempt to silence critics by invoking Muslim victimhood.
The federal government defines a hate crime as a "criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender's bias against a race, religion, disability, ethnic origin, or sexual orientation." Though statutes mandating harsher punishments for hatred-inspired acts raise the specter of thought crimes, emphasize group identity over the individual, and seemingly favor certain victims over others, the FBI's tracking of such deeds shines important light on the state of the nation. Annual reports assembled from local law enforcement data are accessible on the website of the FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting Program. Especially useful is Table 1 of each compilation, which summarizes the number of incidents, offenses, victims, and known offenders for hate crimes committed against members of different groups.
No class of hate crimes has seen more fluctuation than anti-Muslim ones. The norm was a few dozen incidents per year in the late 1990s, but the number jumped from 28 in 2000 to 481 in 2001, a spike attributed to post-9/11 backlash. However, it dropped to 155 in 2002 and held remarkably steady through 2006, before falling again to 115 in 2007, 105 in 2008, and 107 in 2009.
Anti-Muslim incidents rose to 160 in 2010, an increase that Islamists and their mouthpieces eagerly blamed on rampant "Islamophobia," particularly opposition to a proposed giant mosque near Ground Zero. Based on freshly released FBI data, there was little change in 2011, with 157 incidents, 175 offenses, 185 victims, and 138 known offenders. Mark Potok of the reliably leftist Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which puts foes of radical Islam in the same category as Klansmen and neo-Nazis, has declared that "hate crimes against perceived Muslims … remained at relatively high levels" as a result of "Islam-bashing propaganda," anti-Shari'a legislation, and ongoing resistance to new mosques, relaying that "several were attacked by apparent Islamophobes." Note the key word: "several" in a country with at least 2,106 mosques, a few million Muslims, and 300 million–plus non-Muslims.
As hinted above, the dark portrait of America as a nation of violent bigots uniquely hostile to Muslims does not withstand quantitative scrutiny. To smooth out year-to-year variations, consider the past decade (2002–11) of FBI-recorded hate crimes. There were 1,388 incidents against Muslims during this span, compared with 25,130 against blacks; 12,030 against homosexuals and bisexuals; 9,198 against Jews; and 5,057 against Hispanics. Even majority whites endured 7,185 incidents, while Christians (Protestants and Catholics combined) were targeted in 1,126 incidents. Adherents of "other religions" faced 1,335, very close to the anti-Muslim tally.
Due to the different sizes of minority groups, however, raw numbers cannot tell the complete tale. More insightful are per capita rates. Some back-of-the-envelope calculations follow.
The U.S. Census Bureau derived the total, Hispanic, and black populations for 2000 and 2010 from direct counts. Approximating their evolution with linear models, one can obtain estimates for any non-census year and, most important, the 2002–11 averages: total (299.2 million), Hispanic (45.2 million), and black (37.4 million). Surveys indicate that around 3.5 percent of American adults identify as homosexual or bisexual; applying this percentage to the total population gives a 2002–11 average of 10.5 million. Two studies have pegged the number of American Jews at about 6.5 million in 2010. Figures for 2000 vary (5.3–6.2 million), so for simplicity we set the average Jewish population between 2002 and 2011 at 6.2 million to account for moderate growth. As for Muslims, whose population estimates have a convoluted history, reputable recent numbers have been provided by the Pew Research Center (2.75 million in 2011) and the Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies (2.6 million in 2010; full data extractable here), which agree on the current size and growth rate (around 100,000 per year). The 2002–11 average is roughly 2.3 million Muslims.
Adding the FBI data yields per capita frequencies of hate crimes for the past decade. Of the five main minority groups discussed above, Jews were most likely to experience hate crimes, with 14.8 incidents per 100,000 Jews annually. Homosexuals and bisexuals (combined) came next (11.5), followed by blacks (6.7), Muslims (6.0), and Hispanics (1.1). Rates for majority whites and Christians were much smaller.
With hate crimes befalling Muslims far less often than they do Jews or homosexuals and bisexuals and slightly less often than they befall blacks, it is clear that anti-Muslim incidents are disproportionate to those targeting other minorities only in terms of the hype generated on their behalf. A closer look reinforces this conclusion.
First, despite claims about a surge of prejudice, anti-Muslim hate crimes in 2010 and 2011 merely returned to the typical post-9/11 (2002–06) pace of 150–160 incidents per year. Further, a similar number of hate crimes in 2002 and 2011 implies a lower per capita rate in 2011 because of strong population growth.
Second, what of the Muslim population estimate? In hopes of inflating their presumed clout, Islamist groups routinely assert the existence of around 7 million American Muslims, three times as many as the more objective measurements. Note, however, that this Islamist-promoted figure actually would weaken their narrative of anti-Muslim hate crimes, because a higher population reduces the per capita frequency, thus painting them as even less significant in a statistical sense.
Third, though 2001, whose rash of hate crimes against Muslims was an outlier tied to a unique event, has been excluded from the above analysis, the 2001–11 rate for Muslims was just 7.4 incidents per 100,000 per year, still far short of that applying to Jews or homosexuals and bisexuals. Self-pitying Islamists also want us to forget that in spite of 9/11-related anger, anti-Jewish hate crimes outnumbered anti-Muslim hate crimes that year by more than two to one.
Fourth, could incomplete data affect the finding that Muslims are victimized less often than many non-Muslim minorities? Theoretically, yes, but evidence for this is scant. SPLC talking heads regularly cite a 2005 Justice Department study, using surveys of victims' perceptions of whether prejudice had motivated crimes against them, to argue that the FBI underestimates overall hate crimes by an order of magnitude. Yet even if those claims are valid, nothing suggests that anti-Muslim crimes are more or less likely to be ignored than others, which would be necessary to alter the relative frequencies of hate crimes against different groups. Another source of incompleteness is that not all local law enforcement agencies take part in the FBI's tabulation, but once again there is no obvious bias here that would preferentially diminish hate crimes against Muslims. Also note that the percentage of participating agencies (see the FBI's Table 12) is large and slowly climbing, covering 86 percent of the U.S. population in 2002 and 92 percent in 2011, meaning that improved reporting could have helped elevate the number of FBI-recorded hate crimes in later years. Although this impact is probably small, it further chips away at the meme of rising hate.
Fifth, consider hate crimes with the worst possible outcome: death. The subject has been in the headlines after a deranged woman suspected of murdering a Hindu man, Sunando Sen, by pushing him from a New York subway platform on December 27 told police that she "hate[s] Hindus and Muslims," whom she collectively blames for 9/11, and that she believed Sen to be Muslim. Following the initial rush to label Sen's murder a hate crime, journalists have learned that the alleged murderer had a long history of severe mental illness, had received only intermittent treatment despite numerous pleas for help and warnings from the family, and had repeatedly gone off her medication.
As the usual voices fault "our oversaturated Islamophobic environment" and "growing anti-Muslim hate," they neglect to mention how rare it is for an actual or perceived Muslim to die in a hate crime. By the FBI's count, 74 people were killed in hate crimes ("murder and nonnegligent manslaughter" in Table 4) from 2002 to 2011, but not a single one in an anti-Muslim incident. Indeed, the FBI lists no anti-Muslim fatalities since 1995, corresponding to the earliest report available.
Why do Islamists obfuscate? The false picture of an epidemic of physical assaults on Muslims distracts Americans from Islamist hatred and enshrines Muslims as the country's leading victim class, a strategy intended to intimidate citizens into remaining quiet about Islamic supremacism and lay the groundwork for granting Muslims special privileges and protections at the expense of others. In short, anti-Muslim hate crimes are a powerful Islamist weapon.
At its extreme, the desire to achieve victim status in this manner has fueled the phenomenon of fake hate crimes, through staging, blatant misrepresentation, or both. An illustrative example is the March 2012 murder of Shaima Alawadi, a hijab-wearing California woman found beaten to death at home with a note calling her a terrorist beside her body. Islamists and their credulous media allies pounced at the opportunity to condemn the supposed tidal wave of "Islamophobia," even as marital problems emerged as a potential motive. In November, police arrested Alawadi's husband.
Genuine hate crimes committed against any group are deplorable, but they must be placed in the proper context. First, hate crimes are uncommon across the board. Second, despite hyperbole about "anti-Muslim violence spiralling out of control in America" and producing "one of the most hostile moments that the Muslim American community has ever experienced," the real story is the amazing tolerance and restraint of the American people. Imported Muslim fanatics murdered thousands on 9/11, the threat of homegrown jihad has crystallized, and Islamists abroad continue to slaughter innocents daily. Though Americans could find no lack of excuses to strike out at their Muslim neighbors, almost nobody does — and thankfully so. As such, the annual victims of anti-Muslim hate crimes average between three and four per U.S. state and would have trouble filling a decent-sized jetliner.
Many Americans take a critical view of Islam, but virtually all restrict their negative sentiments to the domain of words and ideas, as civilized human beings should. People are free to have opinions, including anti-Islamic ones, regardless of how Islamists long to muzzle them. Islamists, in turn, are entitled to their own opinions about life in America. But they are not entitled to their own facts.

Video - First Afghan Female Rapper-Soosan Firooz seeks reason with rhymes.

First Afghan Female Rapper-Soosan Firooz seeks reason with rhymes.(NDTv).Kabul: Sporting a long leather coat and western jeans under a headscarf, Soosan Feroz looks like many modern women in Kabul.
But she is a surprising new phenomenon in this conservative Islamic country -- the nation's first female rapper.
Her lyrics though are not unfamiliar for many of her fellow countrywomen - she raps of rape, abuse and atrocities that Afghan women have endured during decades of war in a country gripped by poverty.
"My raps are about the sufferings of women in my country, the pains of the war that we have endured and the atrocities of the war," Feroz told AFP in an interview in the office of a local company that is helping her record her first album, between local performances including at the US embassy in Kabul.
Like most fellow Afghans, the 23-year-old says her life is filled with bitterness - memories of war, bombing and a life at refugee camps in neighbouring Iran and Pakistan.
She was taken to Pakistan as a child by her parents and later to Iran, escaping a bloody civil war at home in 1990s.
Two years after the 2001 US-led invasion of her war-scarred nation that toppled the Taliban, the then-teenager returned home with her family.
She worked as a carpet weaver with her other siblings for a living until she discovered her new talent.
Told that rap and hip hop had become a way for many artists around the world to express daily hardships in their lives, Feroz says: "If rap singing is a way to tell your miseries, Afghans have a lot to say.
"That's why I chose to be a rapper."
She recalls her woes at Iranian refugee camps in her first recorded piece of music, "Our neighbours", which has been posted on Youtube and viewed nearly 100,000 times: "What happened to us in the neighbouring country?
"We became 'the dirty Afghan'
"At their bakeries we were pushed at the back of the queue."
The lyrics are borne from personal experience, Feroz said. "As a child when I was going to bring bread from our neighbourhood bakery, the Iranians would tell me, 'go back, you dirty Afghan'.
"I would be the last one in the line to get my bread," she said.
One of the songs is called "Naqis-Ul Aql" which can be translated as "deficient-in-mind" - a common belief about women among Afghan men.
"In this rap, she sings about the miseries of the women in Afghanistan, about abuses and wrong beliefs that still exists about women," Rastagar told AFP.
Afghan women have made some progress since the fall of the Taliban but many still suffer horrific abuse including so-called 'honour killings" for perceived sexual disobedience.
Feroz, the daughter of a former civil servant and an illiterate housewife who remarkably let their daughter sing, has already made scores of enemies not only among conservatives but within her own family.
After releasing her first song on the internet, Feroz's uncles and their families have shunned her, accusing her of bringing shame on them.
Others, mostly anonymous callers, have threatened to kill her.
"What's my fault?" she asks. "I always receive phone calls from unknown men who say I'm a bad girl and they will kill me," she says, her dark eyes welling with tears. Sitting next to her is her father, Abdul Ghafaar Feroz, who says he prides himself on being her "personal secretary".
"I'm not deterred," Feroz said, her father nodding his head in agreement. "Somebody had to start this, I did and I don't regret it and I will continue. I want to be the voice of women in my country.".Hmmmm...Another 'Brave' Woman, if Islamic extremism will be erased, it will be because of women like her.Read the full story here.

Video - CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad: Islam and the U.S. Are Twins, Linked by Common Values, There Are Accounts that Muslims Discovered America before Columbus.

CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad: Islam and the U.S. Are Twins, Linked by Common Values, There Are Accounts that Muslims Discovered America before Columbus.Following are excerpts from an interview with CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad, which aired on Iqra TV on December 27, 2012:

Interviewer: Once again, I greet you from the USA, and specially, from New York. Today’s topic is the American Islamic organizations.

Nihad Awad: In my view, Islam and the US are twins, linked by common values. The values on which the US was founded are the same values advocated by Islam: freedom, and especially freedom of religion, freedom of speech, protection of minorities, and spreading justice among all sectors of society. [...]

The combination of my American nationality and the practice of my Islamic religion creates a beautiful blend, I believe. This is a civilized blend, which proves that Islam flourishes in an atmosphere of freedom, and spreads freedom, justice, and equality. Every day I live as an American-Muslim citizen, I rediscover the firm bonds between the humane system that the US created for its people, and the values advocated by Islam. This marriage of Islam and the US will be the best suited for humanity, because the Islamic values are divine values, conveyed by Allah. The Prophet Muhammad lived by these values, and Muslims today must rise to their level. The US is not perfect, but it is moving “toward a more perfect union.” [...]

It is extremely important to know how Islam began in the US. There are historical accounts according to which the Muslims preceded Columbus, who is said to have discovered the US. Some documents and accounts indicate that Muslim seafarers were the first to reach the US. The bottom line is that Islam played a part in the establishment and development of the US.

With regard to our sister Aafia Siddiqui, this is undoubtedly a sensitive criminal case and a security issue.

Interviewer: Who is she?

Nihad Awad: Aafia Siddiqui is originally from Pakistan, as far as I know. She is incarcerated in the US, having received a long prison sentence, for her alleged involvement in – quote, unquote – “terrorist acts.” We are in CAIR are following this case, through our New York chapter. In 2013, in the coming weeks, we will dedicate more attention to her. We will follow the case, and see what we can do. [...]

I personally intervened in this case, without talking about it in the media. I can reassure the brothers and sisters who called this show that I have personally dealt with this case on a high level in the US, and even in diplomatic circles. When we have any news, we will let you know. Source: Memri.
