The Toronto-based Palestine House has recently celebrated the 14^th birthday of the Palestinian child terrorist Ahmed Manasrah and called for his immediate release from the Israeli jail.

The event was held on Friday, January 19, at the Palestine House offices in Mississauga, Ontario with the attendance of Chairman of the Palestine House, Fadlo Mechael, the Vice Chairman, Nazih Khataba, other board members, parents and children.

A birthday cake was baked in honour of Ahmad Manasrah and decorated with the following message written on it: “Happy Birthday. Freedom. Ahmad Manasrah, 13 years old boy, shot and caged by Israel.”

Children are seen holding colourful balloons and posters that read in Arabic: “Palestine House Canada [flags of Palestine and Canada], Free Ahmad Manasrah, Solidarity campaign with the child prisoner.”

A little girl greeted Manasrah on his birthday by reading the following message in French and English:

“Hi everyone, I’m Maryam Muhanad. We are Canadians Palestinians children came today to celebrate the 14^th birth of Palestinian prisoner hero Ahamd Manasrah. We ask all the nations in the world for freedom to Ahmad Manasrah. Free, Free Ahmad Manasrah. Free, Free Ahmad Manasrah.” To watch the video click here. To see more pictures of the event click here.

Armed with kitchen knives, Ahmaed Manasrah, 13, went on October 12, 2015 with his cousin Hassan Manasra, 15, to Jerusalem’s Pisgat Zeev neighborhood to attack Jews. 

The two Palestinian teenagers stabbed two Israelis, a 13-year-old, who was critically injured; and a 25-year-old, who was moderately injured. Hassan Manasra was shot dead by security forces after charging at police with a knife and Ahmaed Manasrah, was hit by a car, recovered after being treated in an Israeli hospital and is facing charges of attempted murder.

The Palestinian al-Quds Intifada, also dubbed the Knife Intifada, is supported and directed by the Palestinian leadership in Ramallah (the Palestinian Authority-PLO-Fatah) and Gaza (Hamas). Read the full story here.

Today, on Tisha B'Av, Jews mourn the destruction of the first and second Temples in Jerusalem (586 BCE and 70 CE). However, the Palestinian Authority denies that there ever was a Temple, consistently referring to Solomon's Temple as "the alleged Temple." Moreover, the PA also teaches its people that there was never a Jewish history in Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Authority claims persistently that Israel is "Judaizing" Jerusalem, as Palestinian Media Watch has documented. Israel is said to:

- falsify historical artifacts in order to prove a "false" Jewish history in Jerusalem

- destroy Palestinian and Islamic relics and signs of an Arab presence in the city

- plot to take over and destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to rebuild the "alleged Temple"

 in its stead

The cartoon above published by Fatah captures this Palestinian narrative. Israeli soldiers are shooting their rifles and rolling a Torah scroll over the word "Jerusalem" which is bloodstained. 

[July 13, 2015] Israel is said to be forcing a fake Jewish history on Jerusalem.

Five recent PA TV programs repeated these historical revisions:

1. PA Deputy Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Salwa Hadib recently declared that "the Palestinian people has been present in it [Jerusalem] for thousands of years... centuries before the Jewish religion." She also claimed that Israelis "are stealing history and geography":

It has been a Canaanite city for thousands of years. The Palestinian people has been present in it for thousands of years, whether it was in Babylon, Assyria or Canaan, they [the Palestinians] gathered in the area before anything else, centuries before the Jewish religion... An Israeli engineer and an archeologist brought Israeli coins - shekels and agoras - and threw them on the ground before the renovation [of the Al-Karmi neighborhood in Jerusalem] in order to prove, after dozens and hundreds of years, that 'we (i.e., the Israelis) were present here.' They are stealing history and geography."

2. A PA TV host agreed with a researcher of political Islam who stated on PA TV that "the vision of the Zionists" is to "destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque" and "find the Temple." The researcher claimed Israel has not found "even one remnant" that proves the existence of the Temple: 

Political Islam researcher Muhammad Hijazi: "The vision of the Zionists and the extremist settlers for the holy city: They try to take over and divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque. They want to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque while talking about the Temple of Solomon. For 20 years, Israel has been digging under the foundations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. They have conducted tens of thousands of research projects in order to find the Temple of Solomon under the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but they haven't found even one remnant that verifies this. The political goal is to Judaize the entire city of Jerusalem and expel its Palestinian residents..."

PA TV host: "They hope that tomorrow morning the Al-Aqsa Mosque will be destroyed... As you said, they are trying to actually destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque..."

Member of General Secretariat of the Union of Religious Scholars in Syria, Saber Al-Fara: "Not just for 20 years. They have been trying to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque for 60 years!"

3. Official PA TV recently stated that Israeli excavations are "evil projects" to achieve an "evil goal": "full control over the Al-Aqsa Mosque" and "building of the alleged Temple in its place":

PA TV narrator: "The Jews conquered it [Silwan neighborhood] along with Jerusalem [in 1967]. From then on, there have been plans to Judaize and to erase Arab and Muslim antiquities through tunnel excavations and theft of antiquities, and by fabricating a fake Jewish name, such as the 'City of David.' This is Silwan... Through these evil projects, the Israeli occupation seeks to restore the alleged Kingdom of David and to build his palace there, in order to achieve its evil goal: Full control over the Al-Aqsa Mosque and building the alleged Temple in its place."

4. A PA TV program entitled The Citadel of David, strong resolve and pride against the Israeli forgery, claimed that the Israeli Tower of David Museum has become "a Judaizing museum" that tells of "the alleged Temple":

It displays the Talmudic narrative, remains of rocks - that are claimed to be from the period of the Temple, paintings, exhibits, models, signs, and advanced audio systems - that tell an imaginary Hebrew history, especially the Talmudic details about the alleged temples, the first and second ones."

5. Yet another PA TV narrator reiterated the libel that Israel is erasing Palestinian landmarks, referring to "the Judaization octopus" which "is spreading [its arms] to devour what is left of the historic sites that left their mark on the city for thousands of years."

The denial of Jewish history in Jerusalem and rejection of the existence of the Temple by the PA and Fatah - both headed by Mahmoud Abbas - has been documented in depth by Palestinian Media Watch, as has the PA claim of Israeli falsification of artifacts and heritage theft.

Notes: 

The Silwan Spring (Gihon Spring) - A natural water spring, used as a primary water source of ancient Jerusalem. The spring is located in the City of David national park, in the area of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan.

The Silwan Pool (Shiloah\Siloam Pool) - A pool for water storage, located in the City of David national park, in the area of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan. The pool seems to have been dug and first been in use during the First Temple Period (circa 1000 - 586 BCE). The pool was expanded during the Second Temple period (530 BCE - 70 CE) as part of Jerusalem's elaborate water system, but went out of use following the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE. A Byzantine church and an additional pool were built at the site in the 5th century CE.

The PA term "Arab-Palestinian-Canaanite" is an anachronism. Canaan is a biblical name for the land of Israel dating back to the second millennium BCE. The name "Palestine" was only used much later in the 2nd century CE, after the Romans changed the name of Judea/Israel to "Palaestina" to punish the Jewish nation for their revolt. The Arab conquest of the area only took place in the 7th century CE.

Israel allegedly tried to sabotage Gaza flotilla ship at Greek port.

The Israeli man taking part in the flotilla which seeks to break the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip told an Israeli Arab radio station on Thursday that somebody sought to sabotage one of the ships before it set sail for the Hamas-ruled territory.

Dror Feiler, a far-left pro-Palestinian activist and an Israeli national who resides in Sweden, told Radio al-Shams that while one of the ships was at port in Greece, an unidentified individual tried to damage one of the vessel’s propellers.

“We don’t know who it is,” Feiler said. “But that person went deep underwater and sabotaged the propeller, so we had to find a different boat.”

The Israeli-Swedish activist said that “somebody who knew what they were doing” could sabotage the propeller.

“There are dark forces that keep trying to stop us all along the way,” he said.

Feiler told al-Shams that this attempted sabotage was a repeat of an incident in 2011, when saboteurs did damage to a boat that was set to embark to Gaza while at port in Greece.

The activist told the radio station that flotilla participants were wary of being prevented from setting sail to Gaza, which is why they spent as little time in Greece as possible.

In years past, according to Feiler, Greek authorities have prevented activists from launching a flotilla from its ports.

Feiler also told al-Shams that the three-ship flotilla, which is carrying nearly 70 activists, is currently at sea near Crete, and that it is due to arrive in Gaza “within three-to-four days.” Hmmmm.....Lots of drifting fishing nets in the sea, anything can end up in the propellor. Read the full story here.

The U.S. State Department's Country Reports on Terrorism 2014 issued Friday minimizes official Palestinian incitement to violence against Israel and completely overlooks Palestinian glorification of terrorists.

With respect to the Palestinian Authority (PA), the report praises the PA for taking "significant steps to ensure that official institutions in the West Bank that fall under its control do not create content that leads to incitement to violence." The report acknowledges that "some instances of inciting taking place via official media" still occur, listing only three examples. However, the report diminishes the fact that incitement to violence is a systematic and institutionalized PA phenomenon.

The State Department assessment also ignores the direct participation of senior PA officials in praising terrorists and inciting violence against Israelis and Jews.

These blatant omissions from the report leave create a sense that examples of Palestinian incitement to violence and glorification of terrorists are sporadic occurrences.

In reality, the Palestinian Authority institutionalizes a systematic campaign of violent incitement and continues to praise terrorists for killing Jews and Israelis, while encouraging other Palestinians to follow in their footsteps. Hours after a Palestinian terrorist drove his car into a crowd waiting at a light rail station in Jerusalem, the US consulate in the city issued a memo referring to the attack as a “traffic incident.”

A three-month-old baby was killed and seven other people were wounded when Abdel Rahman a-Shaludi drove his car across incoming traffic to strike the people waiting at the station. The baby girl, Chaya Zissel Braun, had American citizenship.

The memo was sent to employees of the American consulate, which is based in East Jerusalem. It asks staff to report “any emergency.”

The family of the driver, who had been jailed in the past for various security related offenses, claim that the attack was an accident. They have set up a mourning tent for al-Shaludi, who was killed by police gunfire when he tried to flee the scene.

Consulate officials said the statement had not intended to downplay the severity of the incident, and that its authors wanted to focus the employees’ attention and give warning of the protests.

Sure. And to signal to the “Palestinian” jihadis and the world that the U.S. government is still in the same deep denial about the jihad threat that led it to label the Fort Hood jihad massacre as “workplace violence” and to downplay or deny the Islamic aspect of every other jihad attack and plot.

Official PA TV recently broadcast a young child reciting a poem that calls to join a "war that will smash the oppression and destroy the Zionist's soul." Palestinian Media Watch has documented that at least three other children have been featured on PA TV reciting this same poem. This video shows a very young girl wearing a Palestinian traditional dress and a pendant shaped like the map of "Palestine" that includes all of Israel. She is seen reciting the poem in different locations - in a field, on the beach and in a market. One part shows her behind barbed wire with pictures of Palestinian prisoners in the background.

In keeping with their annual tradition, Fatah and the PA celebrated the anniversary of the most lethal terror attack against Israel.

In 1978, terrorist Dalal Mughrabi led a group of terrorists from Lebanon into Israel, where they hijacked a bus and killed 36 Israeli civilians, 12 of them children, and 1 American civilian.

At an event, Fatah's spokesman Ahmad Assaf praised terrorist Dalal Mughrabi as "an extraordinary example of struggle, whose headline is bravery, heroism, sacrifice and courage" and who "inspired her generation and the next generations." [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 12, 2014]

The official Palestinian Authority daily reported from the event that "Fatah promised to the masses of our heroic people that it would remain loyal to the promise of the Martyr Dalal and her companions, and to all the Martyrs, until freedom, independence and return." Mahmoud Abbas' advisor on NGOs Sultan Abu Al-Einein said at another event:(See Vid Above).

"I am greatly honored to be standing [here] today, so days that are important to us all will never be erased from our memory. In March, [we mark] Palestinian Women’s Day, in March, Palestinian Mother’s Day also occurs, in March [we remember] that dark-skinned young woman from the Shatila [refugee] camp [Dalal Mughrabi], who would not agree to anything other than to establish her state between Jaffa and Lebanon in her special way; that young woman who fought along with her comrades until her ammunition ran out. Yes, March is honored by this Palestinian blood... They [Israelis] are deluding themselves if they think the negotiations are our only choice. Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas on Thursday said he had invited Pope Francis to the Middle East, during an audience in the Vatican.

Speaking to Vatican foreign affairs official Dominique Mamberti after the talks, he said: "It was a pleasure and I invited him to the Holy Land".

Abbas gave the pope a ceramic panel with a view of Bethlehem and a Bible as gifts, while Francis gave him a decorative pen with which Abbas said he hoped to sign a peace agreement with Israel. "Soon, soon," the pope responded.
 
Israeli President Shimon Peres also invited Francis during a visit earlier this year and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is due to be received by the pope on Wednesday next week.

Francis has already said he would like to travel to the Middle East but the Vatican has not confirmed the trip, despite a report by Israel's Channel 2 television that it will take place in March.
 
Francis has said he would like to visit with patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew I, the spiritual leader of the world's Orthodox Christians.

Abbas is the fourth Middle East leader to meet Pope Francis after Peres, Lebanese President Michel Sleiman and King Abdullah of Jordan.

The officials stressed there is no known threat against Obama himself or any U.S. targets.
Rather, Islamic Jihad is planning for possible attacks within the West Bank as well as inside major Israeli cities before and after Obama’s trip, said the officials.
The officials fear Iran is trying to disrupt planned Israeli-Palestinian dialogue aimed at creating a Palestinian Authority-led state. Obama’s visit is ostensibly aimed, among other things, at restarting these long stalled negotiations.
Since Hamas itself does not oppose the talks, Iran must reach out to Islamic Jihad, largely funded by Tehran, to carry out any attacks, said the officials.
Based on this information, PA security forces working with Israeli security agencies have been leading a major campaign in recent days to minimize Islamic Jihad cells in Jenin and surrounding villages, said the officials.
