Salafi Jordanian cleric Omar Mahmoud Othman, commonly known as Abu Qatafa Al-Filastini, released a video on his YouTube channel in which he discusses "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion."

This is the 24th installment of Abu Qatada project "1,000 Books before Death." While discussing the Protocols, Sheik Abu Qatada went off on a tangent to deny the Holocaust and affirm the blood libel.

Abu Qatada resided in the U.K. and was repeatedly arrested in the 2000s on suspicion of links to terrorism. Eventually, he was deported to Jordan in July 2013, where he was tried, found innocent, and released.

A Palestinian teacher from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is situated on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, taught in his lesson on May 29, 2015, that the reason Europeans expelled Jews and the reason the Nazis burnt Jews in the Holocaust, was because Jews use the blood of non-Jewish children to make matzah bread for Passover. According to Sheikh Khaled Al-Mughrabi, "they were burned in Germany because of these things."

Palestinian Media Watch's exposure of his blood libel generated international condemnation and 8,000 views on YouTube in just three days.

In order to have PMW's video removed from YouTube, the Al-Aqsa lecturer charged that PMW had violated his copyright. YouTube, following US law, removed PMW's subtitled video that exposed his hate speech.

PMW has since sent a "counter-notification" to Sheikh Khaled Al-Mughrabi via YouTube, arguing that the video of his hate speech was "Fair Use" of the material - since "Fair Use" permits the use of a work "for purposes such as: private study, research, criticism, review, journalistic reporting, quotation, or instruction and examination by an educational institution." [Israel Copyright Act 2007, emphasis added]

YouTube is supposed to reinstate the PMW video in 10 days unless Sheikh Al-Mughrabi decides to take his claim of copyright violation to court and sue PMW.

It is also noteworthy that in order to hide his hate speech, the Sheikh made the video of his lesson on YouTube "private" after PMW's exposure so it could no longer be seen by the general public.

PMW suggests that those who posted this story and linked to the original source change the link to this so the video will be visible to people reading their websites and Facebook pages, etc.

French experts reexamining evidence have confirmed their earlier conclusion that the 2004 death of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat was not the result of poisoning, a prosecutor told AFP Monday.

The prosecutor for the western Paris suburb of Nanterre said the experts found there was no foul play in Arafat's death, which sparked immediate and enduring conspiracy rumours.

A centre in the Swiss city of Lausanne had tested biological samples taken from Arafat's personal belongings given to his widow after his death, and found "abnormal levels of polonium" – an extremely radioactive toxin, but stopped short of saying that he had been poisoned by polonium.

French experts "maintain that the polonium-210 and lead-210 found in Arafat's grave and in the samples are of an environmental nature," Nanterre prosecutor Catherine Denis said.

The reevaluation of earlier data "disproves the hypothesis of an acute ingestion of polonium-210 in the days preceding the appearance of symptoms," she said. Read the full story here.

A Facebook page entitled “Jewish Ritual Murder” was taken town and then reactivated within a 24-hour period after the social media giant reconsidered its decision that it violated their community standards, The Algemeiner has learned.

Dexter Van Zile, an analyst for media watchdog CAMERA, reported that he had been notified by Facebook that the page had been removed on Thursday, after a long campaign by Jewish activists and groups.

“Facebook Removes Antisemitic page. Life’s little victories,” Van Zile tweeted at 10:44 a.m.

But on Friday, The Algemeiner received multiple reports of Facebook users who had complained about the page, being informed that it was now back up.

“We revised our decision on your report of Jewish ritual murder,” a message sent to the users read. “Thank you for taking the time to report something that you feel may violate our Community Standards… We reviewed the Page you reported for containing hate speech or symbols and found it doesn’t violate our Community Standards.”

“The ‘Jewish Ritual Murder’ page on Facebook perpetuates age-old anti-Semitic propaganda, and it should be removed immediately. It is profoundly offensive, has no socially redeeming value, and adds nothing to any legitimate marketplace of ideas,” Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, said.

“This page targets all Jews, and Facebook’s position that it technically does not violate their Community Standards because it does not target individuals is an unacceptable excuse. We do not believe that Facebook intends to send a message that they are insensitive to the enormous harm the blood libel has caused throughout Jewish history, and the easiest way for them to make that clear would be to exercise the discretion they certainly have to remove the page.”

Facebook, which was created by Jewish entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg, has been accused in the past of allowing anti-Semitism to flourish on its pages.

Time magazine retracted allegations that Israeli soldiers harvested and sold Palestinian organs.

On Sunday, the magazine deleted the allegations from a two-minute video on its website about the Israel Defense Forces and added a correction, writing at the end, “Correction: The original version of this video cited a contested allegation in a 2009 Swedish newspaper report as fact. The allegation has been removed from the video.”

The video, titled “The IDF: A look inside Israel’s powerful military,” said the “IDF is not without controversy,” reporting that “in 2009 a Swedish report came out exposing some Israeli troops of selling organs of Palestinians who died in their custody.”

According to the watchdog website Honest Reporting, “The reference is to a completely made up tabloid-style article in an obscure Swedish paper that even the author admitted was not based on any evidence.”

The allegation appeared in the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. Of the allegation, the author of the piece said, “But whether it’s true or not – I have no idea, I have no clue,” according to Honest Reporting. More on this story here from Algemeiner.

Time Magazine should be ashamed for giving new life to a horrendous blood libel accusing the IDF of stealing Palestinian organs.

In the middle of a video about the Israeli military, we are told that the “IDF is not without controversy.”

Their example?

….in 2009 a Swedish report came out exposing some Israeli troops of selling organs of Palestinians who died in their custody. (Around the 1:15 mark of the video.) The reference is to a completely made up tabloid style article in an obscure Swedish paper, that even the author admitted was not based on any evidence.

Here is what we said after it was published back in 2009:

Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet’s August 2009 story accusing the IDF of harvesting Palestinian organs caused an uproar. Donald Bostrom, the author of the offensive piece, duly demonstrated his utter lack of any basic journalistic standards when he said: “But whether it’s true or not – I have no idea, I have no clue.”

A Turkish aid group said on Aug. 11 it would send ships again to challenge the Israeli blockade of Gaza, four years after Israeli commandos stormed its flotilla bound for the Palestinian territory and killed 10 people.
  
The Humanitarian Relief Foundation (İHH) said in an e-mailed statement that members of a "coalition" of pro-Palestinian activists from 12 countries had met in Istanbul at the weekend and decided to launch a convoy "in the shadow of the latest Israeli aggression on Gaza," referring to the latest, month-long war. Fighting has abated under a 72-hour ceasefire deal.
   
"The Freedom Flotilla Coalition affirmed that, as most governments are complicit, the responsibility falls on civil society to challenge the Israeli blockade on Gaza," it said.
   
An IHH spokeswoman did not elaborate. The group will hold a news conference on Tuesday, she said. Hmmm....I'm sure Herr President will be willing to send Turkish troops along.

The Turkish humanitarian relief organisation (IHH) is currently organising a "Freedom Flotilla II" which will carry humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza Strip, IHH chairman Bulent Yildrim said Thursday.

In statements to Gulf Online, Yildrim said that his organisation has embarked on legal procedures and paperwork required to obtain a permit for the trip. As soon as a final permit is issued, the IHH along with other international organisations will immediately set up the convoy.

The chairman of IHH, a major organiser of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla I, said that Turkish army troops will accompany the ships to protect it from any potential attack, pointing out that his organisation demanded the government to provide protection for them as Turkish citizens.

Maze Keheil, the president of the European Campaign for Lifting the Siege on Gaza, confirmed his campaign's intention to take part in the new flotilla, as it did in first one in 2010.Hmmmm.....He really thinks the patriots will protect him from Israeli nukes?

Several Polish rabbis and Jewish lay leaders criticized Krakow’s new chief rabbi for saying all non-Jews do not like Jews — a statement he was recorded making in an interview and then denied uttering.

On Friday, six rabbis who belong to the Association of Rabbis in Poland said in a statement that they “firmly oppose” remarks made by Rabbi Eliezer Gurary in an interview published June 9 on the Hebrew and English editions of inn.co.il, the news website of Israel’s Arutz Sheva internet radio station.

In another statement published Friday, five Polish Jewish lay leaders wrote they were “disturbed and deeply concerned” by Gurary’s statement, which they said “essentially painted all non-Jews as anti-Semites.”

In the published interview, which was conducted in Hebrew, Gurary was quoted as saying: “let’s state it very clearly: those who are not a Jew – do not like Jews. Everyone understands and knows it.”
An alternative translation substitutes “like” for “love.”

In their statement, the Association rabbis wrote: “We are hoping that Rabbi Gurary will withdraw his harmful declaration.” They added that “the generalization that Gurary made is simply not true.” In Poland, they wrote, “we are fighting prejudice and we are working on good relations with our countrymen regardless of their religion or ethnicity.”

Contacted by JTA, Gurary, a Chabad rabbi who has been living in Krakow for eight years, denied making the statement during his interview with journalist Nissan Tzur.

He said the statement was a misquote and accused critics of targeting him personally in “a vicious and lowly blood libel.”

But in the recording of the interview, which JTA obtained, Gurary is heard making the generalization and adding: “This shouldn’t come as news, anyone who lives out [of Israel] can tell you the history of non-Jews’ attitude. Of course, there are places where this is more felt, and there are places where this is less felt. In some places sympathy to Jews is more felt; in others, hatred to Jews is more felt.”

In an article he published on April 30, 2013 on the website amad.ps, which is close to the PLO, former Hamas official Dr. Mustafa Al-Lidawi wrote that the Jews haven't changed since ancient times: in the past they used to drain the blood of Christian children in order to mix it into their Passover matzas, and today they sadistically torment and kill Palestinians. He added that Passover, which had once struck fear into the hearts of the Christians, was now a time of suffering and pain for the Palestinian people.

The following are excerpts from the article, which was also published in the Egyptian oppositionist weekly Masr Al-Gadida:

The Jews Used To "Hunt Down A Pure And Innocent Christian Child," And Use His Blood To Make Matzas

"The Palestinians hate the Jewish festival of Passover… While the Jews rejoice, exchange holiday greetings, eat their matzas baked with blood, sip wine, congregate, dance, play, hold parties, and celebrate, they sentence the Palestinians to death. They place them under siege, close the gates and the [border] crossings, impose a curfew, and prevent them from traveling and from leaving and entering [the territories] – including even students, patients, elderly people, and individuals with special [needs]. The curfew they impose can last for days, depending on the decrees of field commanders, and in the meantime life comes to a standstill and people place their interests on hold, waiting for Passover and the celebrations to end.

"The Jewish Passover has always been accompanied by suffering and pain… When the Jews began celebrating their holidays, blood would begin to flow. Since ancient times, their festivals have always involved sorrow for others and their aspirations have always entailed suffering for others. In the past, their Christian neighbors used to fear the holiday of Passover. They did not anticipate it [with pleasure], but feared what might happen [during this holiday] and the violent incidents that might accompany it… For the Jews always made sure to hunt down a pure and innocent Christian child, who had not tasted wine and whose blood had never been contaminated with impurity. They would take him to the altar in their temple, where they would stab him with knives, or else place him in a barrel lined with needles, under which they would place a large bowl to collect his blood. Then they would mix the blood into some dough [and bake a matza] cake, which would be divided up and handed out to many Jews who wished to partake of the blessing… Then they would drink four glasses of grape wine, their children would sing, and their daughters would dance…

"The Jews regard Passover as one of their important holidays… for it is the day on which they began their journey back to the Promised Land, the day on which they were rid of Pharaoh's cruelty and the tyranny of the leaders of Egypt. For this reason, they regard it as the founding day of the kingdom of the children of Zion, the day on which they left the old dens of oppression, bade farewell to Pharaoh's emissaries who had enslaved them, and left the land that had kept them far away from their dreams. In Jewish history this is a day of liberation, the day on which they found their identity, future, and place, and realized their greatest goal. [It is the day] on which they returned to the land of milk and honey, found a common language, and came together from various diasporas. It is the day their prophet received the Torah and their holy book, the day that distinguished them from the nations and elevated them above other people. [For this reason,] this holiday is very important to them and they make great efforts to mark it."

"The Jews Have Not Forgotten Their Blood-Soaked Past and Their Perverted Rituals"

The Jews have not forgotten their blood-soaked past and their perverted rituals. In the past they would seek out a Christian child in order to drain his blood for their matzas, which they would feed to their children, big and small, in order to gladden them, and today they murder every Palestinian child and hurt every [Palestinian] man and youth and every boy and girl. They murder [their victim] in cold blood, shoot him, bombard him with shells, drag him along the ground, run him over with cars, rip his stomach open with knives, bash his head in with stones, break his bones with clubs, and crack his skull with the butts of their guns. The settlers compete with one another in killing and torture techniques.

"Nothing has changed in the Jews and their customs. Their ancient nature remains the same, [though] their hatred has grown and taken root… In the past, they used to perform their injustice alone, without help from anyone, whereas today others help them against us by providing them with means of oppression, tools of killing, and methods of torture."

"On Their Passover, The Jews Enjoy A Life Of Comfort And Pleasure" While Sadistically Torturing The Palestinians

"On their Passover, the Jews enjoy a life of comfort and pleasure in our homeland, benefiting from its soil and resources, [while] stealing our historical [treasures] and the remnants of our past. They poke around in our holy places, destroying them and desecrating them. They take bones out of tombs and dig up graves with bulldozers, throwing aside the bones of our leaders and forefathers. In their place they plant an alien seed that does not grow in our land and cannot thrive there, but they claim that it is native and that it is only theirs, and that nobody can compete with them over it.

"During the Jewish Passover, our mosques are closed and Muslims are prevented from praying in them. The Jews close Al-Haram Al-Ibrahimi [The Cave of the Patriarchs] in Hebron and bar Muslims from entering it. They [even] seal the windows of [Palestinian] homes overlooking it and ban the muezzin from calling the Muslims to prayer. They fill the compound outside [the building] with hundreds of Jewish babies and hold a mass circumcision ceremony, and also hold weddings for hundreds of young Jewish men and women… who dance and perform religious rituals. They visit the tombs of saints and prophets… and Al-Haram Al-Ibrahimi remains closed for many days until Muslims are allowed to pray there [again]… The occupation authorities are trying to create a similar situation in Al-Aqsa, and to employ the same policy there. The compound outside the mosque and the areas near it have become a site of pilgrimage for Jews, where they pray, celebrate and hold weddings.

"We Palestinians cannot greet the Israeli Jews on their Passover holiday… How can we greet the hangman who holds the whip that sears our bodies…?
